Rubedo  : (28 July 2010 - 07:37 PM) I'll just go with "whatever comes first". Since VC's gonna be a steep learning curve and can't just headshot everything.
Flame  : (28 July 2010 - 03:55 PM) Nothing much HLOG... Drama has been pretty low. There was "The Great Merge" in which one moderator thought the forum would look better if every topic was merged into just one. Ultimatly we decided against the new look he gave us.
Ash Crimson  : (28 July 2010 - 01:42 PM) Thank you Chalryn, for that rather amusing link!
HLOG  : (28 July 2010 - 12:13 PM) Working the late shift makes me dumb. I'd forgotten I poked my head back here. So did I miss anything in the long void between my visits so many years ago?
Chalryn  : (28 July 2010 - 11:40 AM) Behold: Hard Gay Ramen!

Theferrell  : (28 July 2010 - 09:20 AM) Nanoo nu'un
Cel Merion  : (28 July 2010 - 08:50 AM) I am no longer Jack of Allterades! I shall lead my flock as the master of Nu'un!

Actual DQ9 text, I swear.
Ash Crimson  : (28 July 2010 - 06:47 AM) Look no further than Athrun's sig for the truth about VC.
Cel Merion  : (28 July 2010 - 06:11 AM) AC has been around longer so you could get it for cheap. Also, giant custom robots. ##### yeah.
Flame  : (28 July 2010 - 05:32 AM) Not Sure what AC4 is like... but VC is damn ##### awesome.
Noir  : (28 July 2010 - 03:45 AM) AC4, obviousluy. And then for Answer. Then wait for 5.
Rubedo  : (27 July 2010 - 10:51 PM) All this talk can get a man tempted. Vallkyrie Chronicles? Get it or Armored Core 4 first?

April 14, 2005 - Leading video games publisher and developer Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that the latest epic adventure in the enormously popular Tales franchise, Tales of Legendia®, will be coming to the U.S. market exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system.

In development for several years, Tales of Legendia will offer fantastic 3D graphics, dynamic battle scenes and an emotionally-charged storyline. Additionally, Tales of Legendia features a unique cast of characters designed by Kazuto Nakazawa, the internationally renowned Japanese artist acclaimed for his amazing animation sequences in “Kill Bill: Vol. 1.”

“We look forward to bringing the newest Tales adventure to the loyal fans of this franchise,” said Yoshi Niki, Business Unit Director at Namco Hometek Inc. “Tales of Legendia’s updated graphics and engaging battle system clearly sets a new standard for the role-playing genre of games, and we are confident players will be delighted with this next journey.”

Tales of Legendia is an epic tale of love and heroism that explores the ties that bind us all. Senel Coolidge, a young expert of the special skill called “eres,” was drifting in the misty ocean on a small boat with his younger sister Shirley. As food ran out and their strength deteriorated, an island suddenly burst through the mist and approached the boat with astonishing speed. The boat was engulfed by wild waves as Senel tried to steer it. When they woke up on the shore, they realized it was not an ordinary island, but actually the deck of the mysterious giant ship called Legacy. Have they stumbled upon an unknown civilization, or is the Legacy a relic of something long past?

The Tales series has been thrilling RPG fans around the world for nearly a decade. While it follows a traditional RPG format, the series is set apart by its slick presentation and art, real-time interactive battle system and clever level designs and puzzles.

I wonder if Tales of Legendia will see same level of success like Tales of Symphonia did on the GameCube outside of Japan. People better not ignore the Tales series again like they did for the first two Tales games that were released on PS1 and ignored. Here's hoping Tales of Legendia is just as good as Symphonia was.

I've been hoping Legendia would be coming to America. I'm just hoping it will get a good amount of recognition like Symphonia got. It'll be kinda depressing if it doesn't. I'm seriously looking forward to it, no questions asked! ^^

So it's finall reached america. meaning it shoudn't take too long to reach the UK hopefully, I really enjoyed the game and I agree with Eva in hoping that this one doesn't get ignored like the one's on PS1.

*fingers crossed* This one sounds like a good one.

Tales of Legendia is not Tales of Destiny 2. Tales of Destiny 2 still hasn't begin confirm for a US release yet. Like Symphonia, Legendia is currently a stand alone Tales title.

If Tales of Destiny 2 was confirm, we would have a lot of happy people. Not to say we're not happy about Legendia begin confirm. biggrin.gif

That still no garuantee, Winnie... Other popular rpg series' from the US still havn't reached our shores, a good example being Xenosaga... Then again Tales of Symphonia was released here =o If it came out here we'd have a long wait, like we did with Symphonia >.>

Awesome,I had heard rumours and such about it. Then some other rumours like it being a sequel to Tales of Symphonia, but I guess not. Oh well, dosen't bother me too much I will buy it anyways, good to hear that its real though. biggrin.gif

w00t. New Tales of Game. I played the first two games myself. but never had the chance to really get into them. But I did really get into ToS and thoroughly enjoyed it. And as much as I think Gamecube desperately needed an RPG of that calibur, I'm still glad it's coming back to Playstation. Here's to hoping it's as amazing as Tales of Symphonia. Cheers!
