Rubedo  : (28 July 2010 - 07:37 PM) I'll just go with "whatever comes first". Since VC's gonna be a steep learning curve and can't just headshot everything.
Flame  : (28 July 2010 - 03:55 PM) Nothing much HLOG... Drama has been pretty low. There was "The Great Merge" in which one moderator thought the forum would look better if every topic was merged into just one. Ultimatly we decided against the new look he gave us.
Ash Crimson  : (28 July 2010 - 01:42 PM) Thank you Chalryn, for that rather amusing link!
HLOG  : (28 July 2010 - 12:13 PM) Working the late shift makes me dumb. I'd forgotten I poked my head back here. So did I miss anything in the long void between my visits so many years ago?

Actual DQ9 text, I swear.
Ash Crimson  : (28 July 2010 - 06:47 AM) Look no further than Athrun's sig for the truth about VC.
Cel Merion  : (28 July 2010 - 06:11 AM) AC has been around longer so you could get it for cheap. Also, giant custom robots. ##### yeah.
Flame  : (28 July 2010 - 05:32 AM) Not Sure what AC4 is like... but VC is damn ##### awesome.
Noir  : (28 July 2010 - 03:45 AM) AC4, obviousluy. And then for Answer. Then wait for 5.
Rubedo  : (27 July 2010 - 10:51 PM) All this talk can get a man tempted. Vallkyrie Chronicles? Get it or Armored Core 4 first?

There are a couple of things I'm having trouble finding in WA3.
Where is the abyss? I know it is in the mountain area south of Little Rock, but beyond that I don't know, I've tried everything I can think of. Maya just got kidnapped in the story, so I am far enough right? First, I talked to Mock in Little Rock and got directions. I landed on the little piece of land south of Clive's hometown and ran up the path till I got past the narrow canyon, once there I searched every inch of land.
I also tried to start the alien side quest. I talked to the guy in Laxisland and he told me to destroy the tower to the southwest. I searched all over the platue(sp?) southwest of Laxisland and couldn't find it.
If anyone could help me with these, that would be great.

Hmmm, I've been to the abyss and went to about level 20. but it was so long ago. I got there by luck and lookin at a faq on gamefaqs.com but I don't remember which one. Trust me, the abyss is annoying as h@ll. It's hard when you get down in levels too. Come to think of it...I still haven't beat this stupid game >.<

You're so close to where I am.
Well, Wild ARMs 3 has byfar the hardest puzzles of the three games.
The Abyss is about 100 levels long, and trust me, going all the way in is pointless, unless you're level 100 and like your personal skills.
I'm not too familiar with the alien sidequest.
Oh, and Maya was kidnapped? Hm...
Well, first of all, you'll need the dragon, and second of all, you'll need to find this place on a green land that you weren't able to reach before without the dragon.

I don't really remember much because I haven't been at that point in the game for a while... I've just been stuck when my character's levels were 43-45. i decided to train... all I did was fight three bosses and got to level 60-66... o.o

Yeah... so... try gamefaqs.com.

It's been a long time since I've playing Wild Arms 3. Going to Abyss this soon isn't bad, because you want to get the Dragon Idol. Also, Lombardia can't land near the Abyss, but you must fire a missle first to destroy the boulder blocking the entrance of the Abyss, so do that, then land and you'll need look for a small path you can take to the Abyss on the World Map on foot or horse.

Just do the first 10 floors, so you can get the Dragon Idol, then choose to leave the Abyss after that. Abyss get much hard as you progress. The rest of the Abyss is for later on in the game if you wish to complete it. I forgot how many floors they are, but at the very bottom you'll meet Ragu O Ragla.

Here's a map for you if you're having trouble locating the Abyss still. G is Little Rock and 35 is Abyss. I hope this help.

Yes, the Abyss is the Major sidequest of the game. It has 100 floors and the hardest boss. You can't save anywhere throughout these floors so you must complete it in one play. This is one of the EX File Key missions too, which are somewhat good to collect. Some of them are insane...like the Arioch one.
