Wrapping up the weekend rpg news. Square Enix announced that November 19, 2003 will be the date that details of Final Fantasy XII will be reveal to the press and to a small select public gaming fans in Japan. Information on the story, characters, battle system, and screenshots will be released at that time.

To help boost the hype of the 11/19 date, an official Final Fantasy XII japanese site has been announced. You can see the site here.

Kool ff12! Hope it's not a mmrog like 11. I think rite now Square enix could benifit more from anthor history making( refers to ff7) rpg game.

I can practically garantee it wouldnt b a mmorpg but it might have some online parts a battle type thing kinda like pokemon did would b coo like ya go on have ure characters from the game like my guy lv 77 or somthin battle some one else and u et xp etc that would add alot o replay value

FFXII, i already read somewhere that the people should be ready cause its gonna be something totally new, it could be ANYTHING!! its kinda scary ina way but could also be amazing, HERE'S HOPING!!

umm I think your announcement should read, FFXII revealed, not reveal.....anyways this is great news seeing as I've only seen one picture of it and it gave away nothing, but did love the music and I hope they use that old school type of music in the game itself, not just for promotions

I'm really excited about FFXII. I have a feeling this FF game will be great. I heard that the person who was involved in FF tactics and Vagrant Story will be involved in FFXII. THat's a good thing because both Tactics and Vagrant were great games.

I really hope that the game is intuitive but nothing WAY too drastic, i have faith in square-enix that they can mix the new and old perfectly

[Acctually i liked ff10 but then at the time it was only my second ff after ff9 so that kinda mks sence since in my oppinion ff9 wasnt really that good at the time it was really good but afta beatin ff7 it seemed kinda well unoriginal any my order for best would go that is on playstation /2 ff7 , ff10 cant decide ff9 an 8 beat 9 but not 8 even though i had 8 for a year it jus gets so borin at parts.

I haven't even played FFX-2 or FFXI, and now FFXII? I have to be keeping up on the releases. I really think it's gonna be awesome. Muiltiplyer games arn't that bad ya know, Broken.

I agree, they're not all that bad. I've got a friend who's doing the public beta test for ffxi right now, i've tried it, it's not bad, but not as great as what i'd expect it to be. Oh well. Final Fantasy XII should definitely bring us a couple of suprises. and what's all the comotion(sp?) about ff7 now? I'm confused really!

Not always. Because, since you're interacting with others all across the world *unless it's a game that exists only in certain countries, whatever, you get my point* chances are that there will be guilds, with quests, blah, blah, and blah. So what if there's no storyline? the point is having fun.

Final Fantasy X was amazing, not only that, but making a sequel is expanding upon the wonderful series known as final fantasy. Sure, Tidus and Yuna were horrible lead characters, but as far as i'm concerned Final Fantasy X was the best way to be brought into the knew world, I especially like that it isn't entirely old school like FF9, but instead uses the good from 7 and 8, and combines it with nine. Btw, i find it fascinating that Square is already releasing info on twelve, the japanese must be frothing at the mouths for that final fantasy goodness

YES!!!!! a ff7-2 i really hope u can use aeris in this one and the idea of paying for ff11 made me sick

I think you people are crazy even though final fantasy is awsome it is not something to take lightly. i heard there is a movie coming out about the aftermath of ff 7.

i personally wich i had the money to pay for the online fee of FFXI....does anybody know if you have to pay for it if you play it on the PS2 Console? Also im pretty Psyched about FFXII coming out....anybody have any release dates yet?
