Thank the lord! A Final Fantasy 7 movie! Personaly I think that the last one stunk. Thanks a lot you saved me from having to go attack the president of square in his sleep for not making a ff7 movie.

Sephiroth ISN'T alive! The scenes you see of him are flashbacks. I don't know who the guy Cloud is fighting is but he is to skinny and his hair is to short to be Sephiroth. There is a good clear shot of him that proves this point but i don't know how to post a picture.

I can't wait till the movie comes out. i played ff games since i was 4 hehe. I think it's good how they made the actual game into a movie. What i would like to see as a movie tho is ff5, with Locke Etc. I thought it had a great story line. but hopefully this movie isn't going to be the only one

Looks good, except that Cloud looks too much like Tidus (a crappy character), and Sephiroth looks too feminine.

And, and Sephs hair must be made of titanium, so he can't cut it. And Seph isn't aloud to loose weight, cause he must be a robot!

Mmm. Cloud is a freaking hotrod.. He looks alot like Shuin though.. *Swoon* Though Sephiroth does look a little on the feminine side.. Some guys have it some don't. Unfortunetly, Seph does.

I completly agree! Why do they keep making the bosses in the PSX Final Fantasy's look like women? Okay, I understand Edea, but Kuja looks feminine in the cutscenes, and now Sephiroth, the last cool, man-looking villian? But he, and the rest of the movie, looks awesome, hope it comes out in America. I'm downloading the trailer right now

I must say.... Square still has some surprises up its sleeve. Rather than being skinny, as some of you claim Cloud and Seph to look like, the term 'hip-hop cool' is better suited to it. Yeah, that Cloud pic in that church, (ah! the memories, the meeting with Aerith and the very first encounter with the Turks...), he may not have much muscle but heck, the high-neck coat and his polished-up looks (I must admit, he really looks so much like a Japanese. Neato, isn't it?) make him a more complete Cloud. The trailer is pretty nice as well. Thanks be to Derelicte!

I look forward to next year, and who's to say whether the DVD will come to America and the rest of the world? I'm sure it will; FF7 fame won't go forgotten on us. Blessed be Square.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Seph is alive 'cuz in the 6th screenshot (I think) it shows Cloud and Seph battling in what looks like ruined Midgard (it has the shin-ra advertisement scrap thing in the background so I'm thinkin' it's Midgard) As far as i know, I don't remember cloud and sephy having any one-on-one battle until the end of the game, so I'm assuming seph is alive. I could be wrong though.

Absolutely bloodt, fantastically, mind bogiling, brain skatering sweet man. CANNOT wait for final fantasy 7 advent children. GOD it will be worth the wait. Hope all the original characters are in. specially tifa....

omg guys, before saying, Sephiroth is dead, he's a robot, JEEZ try to complete the game and understand it before posting stupid and thoughtless info!!

Sephiroth died in Nibelheim at Cloud’s hands. The Sephiroth that we see during the game (i.e., not in flashbacks) is not a robot but a more powerful clone of the original Sephiroth.

I wasn't trying to say that sephiroth's hair can't be cut. But, Square probably wouldn't make such a drastic change in Sephiroth's appearance. BTW you wont be seeing barret alive again. just read this info I got from Gamespot.

"Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will take place two years after the original PlayStation Final Fantasy VII game. The world looks to be peaceful, having avoided destruction, but inhabitants have begun suffering a new physical malaise called Seikon-Shoukougun.

Cloud has been living alone up to this point. While Sephiroth was seen in promotional footage at the Tokyo Game Show, it is not known if he has been resurrected or if his appearance was a dramatization from Cloud's past.

Two mysterious characters are seen in Advent Children--one is a gray-haired man in a tight black costume (actually seen fighting duels with Cloud during various promotional events at TGS). Another mysterious character is covered in white linen from head to toe, seen sitting in a wheelchair. No hints have been given as to who this character is."

It was a really stupid idea to kill off almost all the characters.

Is SquareE gonna make Cloud and Seph gay or something? Why isn't there any other characters.. Like Tifa? What happened to her? Cloud dumped her within those 2 years after the end of FF7? Plus.. This movie is filled with a bunch of spoilers for people who haven't played FF7 yet. Someone should give them a good kick in the ass.

Truth be told...where are the better characters...i always thought Cloud was gay (like bad not GAY as in homo). OOOooh sephiroth and cloud, we had enough of them in Kingdom Hearts, and with fanboys advertising both cloud and sephiroth like tey were God and Jesus.
Its stupid, nerdish and crazy.
Hopefully, the makers of this movie burn if they think that they can release such crap (i mean, come on...just cloud and sephiroth!?).
Who knows maybe those arent the only characters, maybe the other side characters will appear but Squaresoft doesnt want to give too much away.
ALL we can do is wait.

this should be great. I've been waiting for this moment. The screen shot really outstanding and very eye catching. Honestly, if i give the overall rate for final fantasy VII advent children, i will give 200 out of 10. I'm looking forward to buy ff7 advent children.

Omggg... That's so cool. But Sephiroth looks REALLY different... I don't like his face that much... But its definately cool!

Any one see the bride with the white hair (I think that's what it's called) well that's the feeling I get when I look at Sephiroth in 3d mode. Any way the game looks bad ass, thats right I said it bad ass.

He only looks Bishonen. He has always been bishonen. This is only Sephiroth with more pixils. So, what do the people think of their champion since he looks so girly? Is he less evil?

Ok, here is what I think:
Advent children- I think that the church that Cloud goes into is definitely the one in Midgar slums for blatantly obvious significant reasons (Aeris, for simpletons). So the fight between Cloud and “Sephiroth” outside, I think is also in the slums as it looks like a perfect cg version of them. I think that the one people have dubbed “Sephiroth” is not at all, and I have my reasons. (Although this one is silly) His masamune blade looks far too short. 2 years after the game, he manages to look much younger than he did then. He looks nothing like the Sephiroth shown in the nibleheim fire on the cg trailer. I REMEMBER QUITE DISTINCTLY KILLING HIM. And he bows down to this throned person. Now unless this is Jenova, who i also killed, I cannot see Sephiroth bowing down to ANYBODY. I simply think that it is another clone of Jenova, like Cloud and Sephiroth-there may have been another “failed experiment” like Cloud that didn’t walk into a big chasm and die.

I must say these pictures are brilliant! I'm a FF fanatic and these pics look amazing! Although Sephiroth looks a little female like, he still is cool animated. That guy in the wheelchair that's cloaked looks freaky, I just wonder who that could be... As for the battle scenes, that definetely is someone else fighting Cloud, who it is, we don't know yet. From the looks of the places we see them fighting, they could be fighting in Midgar I'd say. Still, this is unbelievable!!! Can't wait until we get a release date???!!

Well i´m just wanna have it in my hand to see it. It´s look really great, and the best part it´s based on a real game.

I really hope Yuffie and Vincent will be included in this, i mean in the game they werent put in any FMV. i just hope square doesnt decide to cut them out and if they are in it im hoping its not a flashback with like 3 seconds of them in the background. Also Yuffie was the comedy relief! It looks like a kinda dark film, itd be nice if she were there to lighten the mood now and again. As for the cloaked person, i bet its Aeris and she actually wasnt dead when they threw her body in the lake and at the bottom she got stuck in a wheelchair that was abandoned and is now out for revenge with it grafted on to her body like Barret with his gun and she can move with her mind and... maybe not...but i hope shes in it. Alive. Another thing is voice actors. *wonders if there will be anyone famous* but its a kewl idea, gonna be an awesome film!

I am a fan of ff7. It used to be my favorite game at one point. So as you can probally tell i am exited. Yet i am also afraid. I have always trusted Square with doing the best they can with all the Projects. (Games/movies/cartoon/etc.)And beacuse of my trust in them i'm not ganna rank on Sephi or on cloud or anything. I just hope they take there time with the movie and make sure they don't disapoint there fans........

The screenshots look way cool. Cloud looks alittle funny though, but Seph looks way awesome!!! I wonder if all the character from the orginal game in in this one too. I really like the first picture. Yeah the title screen.

I saw the trailer and It is sephiroth cuz when he's sitting in the chair he looks up and then he has a flashback thing where he's walking through the flames. Also from several different sources I hear Sephiroths in the movie. I think he looks very very...hottttt with the short hair... *drool* well neway i hope it is sephiroth^_^ The movie looks awesome and I hope the plot is just as good as final fantasy 7 the game.

Hey dummy, stuff isn't ALWAYS the same. Even though his hair could be longer, and so could the Masamune(which that doesn't look like) think about it.
