The long awaited direct sequel to Final Fantasy X has been officially released today in North America. Shipment of Final Fantasy X-2 copies should be arriving to stores across North America. Depending on where you are, you may be able to get your copy today or tommorrow. All stores should have their copies by the end of this week. Final Fantasy X-2 is Square Enix first direct sequel to their popular Final Fantasy series. The game follows the adventure of Yuna, the summoner, on her quest to find her love Tidus.

On a side note. BradyGames have release a limited Final Fantasy X-2 Strategy Guide to go along with the launch of Final Fantasy X-2. This limited edition strategy guide comes with:

Close to 300 pages (maybe more)!
One of three collectible strategy guide covers
Bonus content
A cool, two-sided poster (in the standard guide too)
An exclusive artbook, which includes beautiful CG art and illustrations of the characters and environments.

Aww man I was supposed to get my copy of FFX-2 tonite. I had it reserved, and was going to get the strategy guide with it. Anyways the shipment got delayed due to bad weather. Southern East coast having bad storms and tornado warnings and such. Cant get my copy until 10:00 am tomorrow =(

Wow, the strategy guide sounds kewl! I always liked the artworks from FF. =D Think I'll check it out on Thursday and see if they have any without getting the game, since I have it already long ago. ^.^

X-2 is either in stores now, or at least by the end of the week. Just give your store a call, they will be able to tell you for sure.

AAAAAAAAHHHH! I got FFX-2 Last night. Opening night! The first store I went to they were all out! But then I went to another store, they had it... I started it. Only got ot play a half an hour of it before I had to get to bed...but anyway. It's a great game. I got the strategy guide (not the limited edition ) too! It's a good game. Leblanc makes me barf tho. Rikku's outfit also makes me barf. I can't beleive the outfits! But oh well. It's a fun game. Really more of a girl game tho.

I wonder when FFX-2 will be available to us in Brazil... that's sad

I don't see how it's possible to have Rikku and barf in the same sentence... And from what I saw, she looked good in ALL of her outfits. =D

Anyway... I'm thinking of getting a PS2 this christmas, so... If this one is decent enough, I may pick it up. I played a bit of FFX and I wasn't too impressed, so if this one is an improvement I may get both just for the sake of storyline.

Well since i know other people that played it they said it was alright. But I want to find out for myself. I know i'm gonna like it...I liked FFX. Rumor has it on FF X-2 that if you pass it at some level or something, that you get a sad ending. But if you pass it at a high level you will get a cool good ending? On FFX, i liked the ending. It was also sad to me (sorry if i runied it or something?) But yeah....Smell ya laters

Well, Umm..problem is that it came out Nov 18, but so many people pre-ordered the game, they have to make more copies in my area. But It'll be actully in stock in stores like Dec. 19. Because I didn't pre-order it. I get it no matter how long I wait.

It's good to hear that it's mow released in the US, but now I and others like me have to wait until the European/UK Version come out which they say that our version will come out between December 03' - Febuary '04 , so we'll have to wait till then for us.
