I guess as a tool about how politics should be looke at and as education it is okay. But that test has serious flaws. You almost never put a qualifier on surveys suh as this and they should have a neutral position because sme people are, and if it isn't importnnt to themthen the issue should not weight their outcome. Finally social science surveys like this are never individually accurate, they are developed for research using groups.

Kinda what I expected. I've never been a fan of the right's economic policies, with Reaganomics and overly "liberal" (I mean it in the literal, not the political sense) war spending. I've always been fairly moderate in the social aspect, though, both for some of the "left's" and "right's" ideas.

I went back to the site just to see if I got the same level as before to find that they've been tweaking it, they've got a piece on the the American elctions in 2004 and a couple of new questions that I noticed. I don't know if they've been tweaking the answer system aswell but my results have changed, and this time I'm, even more left. I think it must be something to do with the new questions, I thought I was being really reasonable and level headed while I was answering these. Anyway, by the political compass's reckoning I'm now the furthest left person here by an even larger margin:
