What is Duel Masters™?
Duel Masters is the latest phenomenon in collectible card games created by Wizards of the Coast, Inc., the undisputed leaders in the category, creators of both Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering. Duel Masters falls in between Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering in terms of complexity and age-group appeal.
Duel Masters combines incredible artwork with fast and intense game play. The game is all about battling with creatures representing five ancient civilizations. Players construct 40-card decks from a current pool of 180 cards (base set plus the Evo-Crushinators of Doom expansion – with two more 60-card expansions due out this year). Players use both creatures and spells to dominate the battle zone, eventually breaking through their opponent’s shields and delivering the final blow for a victory.
