Trielani had turned in for the night the barkeep had assigned her to room six. All through the night she had heard her neighbor in room tossing and turning she could have sworn she heard him become sick a few times, most likely someone that had too much fun. Trielani never drank it wasn’t a rule of the order or anything rather a personal choice. She awoke early in the morning gone down into the tavern and ordered some food for breakfast and yet again another beer she wouldn’t be drinking. It wasn’t often Trielani stay at anything but a temple this tavern was a foreign place to her. Well actually she hadn’t traveled much out of the temple and even more she rarely traveled alone. As she ate she saw the young man she had talked with last night come down. He looked a little under the weather. He hadn’t stopped to eat but rather just left. After her meal she left the tavern getting her horse and finding a city guard that was kind enough to lead her to the temple and thank the goddess for that she surely would have gotten lost. When she reached the temple she told them she wanted to be a moonseeker and they said that they were just waiting till everyone arrived. “Is there anyway I can see one of your priests in private?” Trielani had asked the young boy that had met her there.

“Yes ma’am.” The boy said. He led her into one of the back rooms and introduced her. “Father Jacin, this woman had requested to see a priest about a personal issue.”

“Thank you my boy,” Father Jacin said dismissing the boy, “Ah a priestess of the Moon Goddess what can I do for you Miss?”

“Do'seko, father but please call me Trielani.” She said.

“Yes of course but I insist you call me Jacin. Now what can I do for you.” Jacin said.

“A sister of my order became ill shortly after the goddess fell. She was on the edge of death so I cast a spell that allowed me to take some of her illness on myself. Are you familiar with this spell?” Trielani said.

“Ah yes I’ve cast a few like that myself. The caster takes the illness on themselves and then is able to fight it off.” Jacin said.

“Yes, Jacin the only problem is this illness I fear I am unable to fight it off. I know it is normal to fell the effects of the illness but rather than it getting better it seems to get worse.” Trielani told the father.

“Hmm it may have something to do with the fall of the goddess. Here take this it is holy water drink two vials a day it should help. Won’t cure you but it will help speed your recovery.” The priest said gather several bottles of water and placed them in a bag.

“Thank you Jacin.” Trielani said.

“Your welcome now you should be heading out to the meeting room.” Jacin said.

"A battle..." Thilit said, pondering whether or not to accept this mysterious elf's challenge. Then he whispered to Krug, "You can take him. Keep a very close eye on him, though. He's a tricky one. I don't know if he's really on our side or not, he looks like another one of those power-hungry mongrels. We'll just have to see what happens. And go easy on him! We don't want him dead, in case we can find him useful."

Of course, Void heard every word, and merely smirked. Krug stepped forward and boomed, "I accept your challenge."

"Very well then!" Thilit responded before Void had a chance to reply. "Under this very room is a crypt where all our priests lie after they have passed from this world. This would be a fitting battleground. One that a Morwenite like you would just feed off of, am I correct?" Void smirked again.

The three stood up. Thilit overturned a table and spoke a quick incantation, and the flame symbol under the table's spot sank into the ground three inches. One by one stairs appeared leading downward into the catacombs. Thilit entered first, conjuring a small flame to see by, followed by Krug and last Void.

Sarcophaguses lined the walls, but there was a hallway about a hundred feet long and twenty feet wide where Krug and Void could fight. They stood back to back, took ten paces each, then whirled around. Void drew a strange-looking weapon that looked like two scimitars welded together at the hilt to form a double-bladed sword, while Krug drew his axe and broadsword. Krug charged with great power, while Void stood smiling.

“Aargh!” The half-orc charges the elf with no mercy present in the beast’s eyes, as if this was an actual battle, his feet beating against the floor sounding like several orges. And what was more prominent was the speed of the warrior. Orcs were ususally just all power, but since this one was only half-bred, then it made sense that he inherited traits from his non-orc parent.

As Krug nears Void, the elf begins to use the many shadows of darkness around him in the gloomy catacombs to his advantage, manipulating it to where it begins to grow all around them, eating away at some of the light emitting from Thilit’s torch, but not too much. The priest looks around and finds himself the only source of light with darkness encasing him. He could not see the walls or the other two. Just himself and his mystic torch were visible.

The half-orc swings his sword where Void is suppose to be but ends up swinging at air, banging his sword against the ground. He spins it back into his hand and gets into a defense stance. All around him, he can see Void’s magick at work. He could not see himself, the walls, the floor, or the temple priest. He only heard the whimpering of a silent wind present among the long hall, sounding like the wailing of many lost souls among the dead.

“Kurg,” Thilit calls out to him. “Do not depend on your sight. Your ears are you eyes, now.”

Void stood motionlessly behind Krug, grinning while he stared at the dumbed half-orc. Unlike his friend, Void’s eyes were able to see every detail in front of him. This gave him a complete advantage. He begins to pull back his weapon when, with a quick spin, Krug swings his axe toward Void. To conceal his hiding place, Void dodges it by flattening against the wall. The orc’s grunt only meant that his second miss angered him. The sound of his axe missing clanged through the long hall, Thilit becoming curious of why he has heard two empty sounds of metal within the dark prison.

Void unrests himself from the wall, when Krug lauches yet another swing and this time with his sword. Unable to dodge this time, Void is forced to counter it with his Scizmar.

Krug smiles and replies:”Fell for it, my friend of an elf.”

“What,” Void says confusedly.

“Hehe, you think I was intending to miss on that second attack. No, my plan was simply to create sort of a sound field. So, any interference among its waves of clanging only meant that something or someone was standing in the middle of it and that means you. I must say, you are good at putting your foes in such a nocturnal environment, but it’s time to show you why I am a force to be reckoned with!”

Krug lets out a long battle cry. To Void’s amazement the shadows around him begins to fade as the unlit torches across the walls of the hall begins to become lit one by one. Soon, the passageway is fully lit, Thilit’s torch no longer needed. Void steps back and puts his sword in guard replying:”What is this?”

Krug laughs. “Ignifer will always protect me with his fire. Now, let us continue this battle…the right way.”

The half-orc wastes no time and swings his broad sword at Void, but the elf is able to dodge it and sends another slash of his Scizmar. Krug is able to counter it with his axe, parries it and sends another swing of his sword. The elf was already prepared as he spins around, countering the blade with the other side of his well-built weapon. They lock blades.
Servant Saber
Pulling herself out of her bed, Trysta quickly donned her full ninja garb, grabbed her tool belt and, finally, attached her chakra to the clasp on her forearm. When the weapon was folded up, it only looked like a single, long assassin's knife. When completely unfolded, it was more like eight. With a lazy yawn, she opens the window and casually walks out, falls the single story to the street, and lands silently on her feet like a cat. With an agile leap, she jumps up to a rooftop of the next building over and continues across the rooftops towards the center of the city.

----

Coran felt like #####, that much Trysta could see. Walking up to the entrance to the temple, she spied him sitting next to said enterance with a very pained look on his face.

"Had too much to drink, huh?" she asks.

"...what?" Croran mumbles in reply.

"Hangover." says Trysta.

"Oh. Yeah. I don't feel so great." says Coran.

"Here, drink some of this." says Trysta, handing him a small bottle from her tool belt.

"Do I really want to?"

"Yep. It'll make you feel better." smiles Trysta.

Coran hesitatly takes a sip of the disgusting smelling liquid and promptly retches up the contents of his stomach.

"What the hell WAS that!? It made me puke!"

"But, you do feel better, don't you?" asks Trysta.

"Well, yeah, but..."

"Then come on! It seems like they're all waiting on us!"

Trysta walks into the temple plaza to meet with the rest of the Moonseekers.

(occ: I did this relativly quickly, forgive any errors, but I need to go to sleep smile.gif )

“A thing of beauty.” Kromean softly breathed as he examined the fishing hook in his hand. The deceptively simple looking hook consisted of many thin slices of steel, layered and pounded together. The lower half of the hook had been dipped in molten steel; coating the lower half in a metal covering helping keep the layered metal together. Sparkling from in between the steel layers were several thin layers of Mithril. The local smith of the small fishing village they had left yesterday may have just been a maker of fishing equipment and boat parts, but the human had stumbled on an interesting technique. Kromean quickly scribbled more notes in the massive tome laying on his lap. The layering technique employed by Terus, of the village of Kuj shows great potential. The Mithral layers lend the hook amazing durability and strength. While the use of steel for the main body keeps the cost low, allowing an otherwise poor fisherman a fine quality hook. Terus happened upon this design due to the increased demand for Steel Fish, which even dwarves know has scales harder to piece than an…

Kromean suddenly found himself weightless as his body was thrown up and slammed back down. Swearing several oaths under his breath the dwarf glanced at the old man driving the wagon. Calmly, the man sat on the bench serving as his seat as if nothing had happened. “I swear that blind, deaf, son of a brain damaged mother is hitting every bump there is. I know it!” Still Kromean did keep his voice inaudible, the wagon had been a blessing. He had tired of walking after yesterday, so when he saw a farmer taking his wares to market Kromean immediately flagged him down. It took several pieces of silver dropping into the farmer’s hand to convince the man to let a dwarf and a Half-orc ride in the back of the wagon. But, for all it’s problems, the wagon allowed him to finish his notes and would hopefully cut some time off their trip.

Kromean mumbled as he went back to his note taking, ignoring Haero, who had been praying since they got on the wagon. The dwarf did not know it but the paladin had finished praying a few hours ago, now he merely sat with his eyes closed, feeling out the preaching’s of Tonitrus branded onto his leather gauntlets. Do no displease Tonitrus. Atone immediately. Always do your best and always improve. Never show weakness. There were many more and his hand kept running over them, but he had repeated them countless times, their meanings burned into his memory. The half-orc’s thoughts instead turned to events after the party at the tavern had ended the other day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Haero patiently leaned against the wall of the tavern. It had closed almost an hour ago. Kromena had gone somewhere to sleep off his drinks, but Haero waited outside, quietly observing the dark and quiet town. Quite a different place then it had been before the tavern closed. Most people were home, only a few had reason to be up at this hour. The few who were, gave nervous glances at the half-orc as they sped on by. A quite gasp came from the tavern door, causing Haero to redirect his attention.
“Good. You have finished, I’d like a few words with you madam.” Haero said as he eased himself off the tavern wall and turned to face the waitress from earlier.
The brown haired girl’s face was a mixture of confusion and fear as she looked upon his orcish features. She glanced back in the tavern, as if looking to make sure she was not alone. The girl raised her voice loud enough for everyone still in the tavern to hear. “Um.. Uh… Sir, I do not know if I…”
With a sigh of annoyance, Haero strode past the woman. “I’m not going to do anything to you. If I had wanted your body, or to kill you, I would have done so before you had made sure your friends heard you. Now follow me.” The paladin’s stern and harsh voice letting her know that she WOULD do as he said.
With an audible gulp, the waitress complied and began walking a few steps behind the paladin as he began to randomly pace the village square.
“What is you name madam?”
“Um, Sheryl, sir.” Her voice was practically dripping with concern over her situation. “ What is this…”
Haero cut her off. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but you are a follower of the thunder god are you not?”
The girl’s face fell as she realized what the half-orc wanted to talk about. She knew he was a paladin, everyone in town did, the loud mouth dwarf had said as much after Haero had dispatched the three men that had tried to rob and slay him them we they had first arrived in town. “Sir, I did not mean to trip tonight. This drunk..”
Haero turn around and held up his left hand cutting her off. “The reasons behind it do not matter. You showed weakness in your chosen profession.” The girl’s face dropped and her eyes remained fixed on the ground beneath her. Haero’s voice softened a bit, but still had an edge to it. “I just wanted to make sure you planned on visiting a temple and asking forgiveness. You seemed more frightened than you should be, like you were already fearing Tonitrus’ wrath. Have you not asked forgives lately?”
“No Sir.” The girl sobbed as she began crying. “I have asked forgiveness too many times! Five in the last week alone! I know Tonitrus must be mad at me by now!”
Haero had not expected the girl to break down like this, though it did explain why she had seemed so frightened by the symbol on his armor. He tried to make his gruff orcish voice sound as comforting as he could. “Sheryl, was it?” The girl nodded. “You have asked forgiveness, that is the first step. As long as you are trying to improve yourself and make some progress toward doing so, Tonitrus understand for the most part. It is those who accept their weakness that he can not stand.”
The girl’s crying subsided slightly. “You mean Tonitrus is not angry with me?” She asked hopefully.
“For that you would have to ask a priest. But, I would assume he is not.”
“As a paladin couldn’t you ask him?”
Haero slowly shook his head. “No I could not.”
“Please!” She begged. “It would make me feel so much better if I knew right now!”
“It is not that I would not, but I can not.” The confusion on her face let Haero know she was not understanding. With a pause for a deep breath, Haero swallowed his pride. “I have not heard Tonitrus since I was twelve.”
“Why?”
“I asked a question that I should not have. Since then he will not directly speak to me.” The half-orc’s voice revealing the deep pain that the disconnection had caused him.
The girl’s face was filled with shock. “Then how do you perform your duties? I assume you really are a paladin; anyone foolish enough to lie about that would been struck down by Tonitrus himself.”
“The priests tell me Tonitrus’ will for the most part. When he wants me to do something urgently I usually receive a sign of sorts.“
“Why would one follow a god who refused to speak to him?” The girl half asked her self.
A grin spread across Haero’s face. “That type of question is the same kind I asked.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tonitrus, someday I hope to earn your forgiveness and once again hear your will myself.

Slowly, Haero opened his eyes. Stretching, he casually glanced around. A look of shock spread over his orc features and in a flash he was kneeling beside the driver of the wagon. “Make these horses move as fast as you can. We need to move faster!”

“Boy, “ the farmer replied in a slow draw “theres no need for it. The horses are old. If we did a full gallop, we would do nothing but get there a few hours sooner and my horses would be exhausted and unable to ride for several days.”

A shard of anger appeared in Haero’s tone. “I do not care. Make these beasts move!”

The farmer became incredulous. “Who demands I do…” The man’s sentence was cut off as one of Haero’s axes embedded itself into the wooden seat the old man sat upon.

“Tonitrus does! Now make these horses move or I shall!”

Concerned, Kromean tried to intervene. “Lad have you lost you wits? What is the problem?” But Haero did not answer he just kept staring into the distance. Kromean swung his head to see what had agitated to young half breed so much. On the horizon, approximately where their destination lie, a massive, straight bolt of lighting streamed down from above the clouds and continued to strike the ground where the town should be. “By the blessed earth beneath my Feet! Lad, when your god wants your attention he sure lets you know!”

(occ: travelling post done. Sorry if it it kinda went off topic. Hope if was up to par. Atleast my chars have a motevation to do something now, do not worry seluna my plan should not affect the story much, just a twist for my charecters smile.gif )

“What did you say???” exclaimed the young man as he ram against the table and threw a sharp glare at the Bounty Guild Secretary.

“What’s wrong Scarlet boy? It’s not like the first time you popped in with dead monsters; you know the rules, no live catch, no gold. Why don’t you start being an errand boy again? It’s not like you can only depend on capturing monster.” laughed the senile secretary as he rubbed his enormous belly.

“I am NOT going to end up at the other side of the continent AGAIN because to deliver some stupid love letters to young fair ladies from old perverts! The last time I did that, the lady sent her hounds after me that took me ages to get them off my track. AND for the last time……I am LYNX!!!LYNX damn it!!!!” shot back Lynx as he broke the table in half.

“That will be a bill for the table, thank you” gagged the secretary as he laughed at the agony of Lynx’s face.

Lynx left the Bounty Guild building, sighing relentlessly. “Guess that’s vegetable soup for dinner again…”

Lynx was dead broke, he couldn’t afford even the cheapest room in the continent, so he often had to tent around the outskirts of towns.

*Growl~~~* his stomach desperately needed a bite and he had no choice but to cook his daily meal, pure vegetable soup. Just then, a snake gilded passed by, Lynx leapt joyfully upon his prey and threw it immediately into the soup alive.

“Erm… I wouldn’t do that if I were you, eating a meal of a live snake thrown into a vegetable soup? That’s not very healthy you know…” whispered an echoing voice out in the night sky.

“Who’s there?!” replied Lynx as he places his hand on White Fang ready for a strike.

“Nobody in particular, just a god who blessed the weapon you are wielding onto now.” crackled the Sun God as he focused a ray of light upon Lynx.

“It can’t be…Lord Sigel?” exclaimed Lynx as he raises a free arm to shield his face from the bright light.

“Lynx… your household serves in both the name of me and the Shadow Goddess, I need you to aid the Moonseekers, but do it as stealthly as possible for I do not want any suspicions arousing upon me. I assure you that assisting them in completing their mission will lead you to your brother.Go to Tyrone and seek information about the Moonseekers…”echoed the Sun God as he made his scene away.

“Helping them means helping me huh…Guess I will just have to do that.” thought Lynx as he scratched his head and stared up at the sky momentarily…

“Wait a minute…what’s that smell? OH NO!!!” panicked Lynx as he struggles to the burnt crisps of his meal.

"Hmph, seems people are coming to this shrine rather quickly now, wonder if we tricggered something." Maco looked around, at a corner was a man that had a serious hang over, a girl who just seemed to cure him, a guy sitting right next to where Nefuriya's Maco's and Neru's conversation had taken place.

Then there was also a pressence, he could barely sense it but something about it seemed, inclomplete. (Maybe... nah) "hey guys I'm going to check this place around ok." Without an answer Maco walked towards the presence, once near it he couldn't help but feel a sudden fear into him.

"Woah, better get out of here." Walking away from where fenrir was hiding he went towards where Trielani had gone to.

"Now you should be heading towards the meeting room." Maco had only heard a bit of the other conversation, Trielani nodded to the priest and went off towards the meeting room, stoping where Maco was.

"Are you, a moonseeker." Trielani said

"Not quite, but I am helping them.... a little, tell me, are you a moonworshiper." The windcaster said smirking

Krug growled and lowered his head, preparing to charge forward full force. He stepped forward and found himself stumbling forward, falling flat on his face. Prone on the floor, he felt Void's foot on his back and his twin scimitar on his neck. "Gotta watch out for that," Void said, smirking.

Krug was about to call out to Ignifer for help, but heard Thilit shout, "Stop!" Void turned and released the pressure on Krug, allowing him to stand. Both combatants were bewildered.

Thilit explained. "I understand your worth now, Void. You may come with us. But at the same time, realize that I could have easily incinerated you at any time. Krug is the one we would send in to fight ten men at once, not you."

Void's pride was wounded, but he accepted. It wouldn't matter if his feelings were hurt. He would be the one with the last laugh...

"I hope I'm not late." Drewera muttered as she entered the Great Solar Shrine. Her short stature was not noticed by many, however, one particular floating elf broke into a ear to ear smile when she caught sight of the familiar figure.

"Wera!" she yelled joyfully as she swooped down from her previous position and gave the dwarf a bear hug.

"Can't breathe... Riya, let go..." Drewera managed to choke out, even though her arms had come up to return the elf's hug.

The elf complied, though albeit reluctantly. "What took you so long?"

"I got sidetracked." was all Drewera said as she pulled out two shiny bracelets, which were at least two inches in width, from a pouch.

Nefuriya's eyes widened as she drew in another breath of air sharply, "Mithril?"

"Found the treasure up the mountains on my way here. I just had to stop by the smithy to make the two pairs of bracelets for the two of us." Drewera replied as she handed the bracelets to Nefuriya, the little bells attached to the side of the bracelet chiming merrily.

The elf attached them to her wrists before turning back to the moonseekers who were standing and sitting around the hall.

"As you all know, I am Nefuriya Kuryutie, Second Priestess of the Temple of Gales." she announced, pausing as she pushed the female dwarf forward, " And this is Drewera Brikerio, Mirgalen worshipper and miner-extraordinaire."

[OOC: Drewera is my second character in the RP. Please read her profile in the eighth page of the OOC.]

Eiyora walk up beside Drewera and said, "Nice to meet you! Nefuriya had told me about you!” Eiyora took Drewera’s hand and shook it. All along thinking [I] what a cute dwarf! [I/].

“ I am just going to leave you two to chat then. I didn’t finish exploring the temple anyway.” Eiyora told Nefuriya and walk away to explore. She strolls around and saw the moonseekers. So far, she only had known Nefuriya, Drewera and Neru. Although she does not know other moonseekers, but she had a feeling she will get to know them soon.

All of a sudden, she trip over her own foot and fall onto the ground with a thud. Groaning, she pushes herself up and begins to continue her walk.

Lynx stared down the remains of the snake in his soup, it looked like some long charcoal floating on top of the vegetable soup.

“On second thought…this look kinda sick, oh well food’s food” he thought as he scraped the burnt flesh off the snake into his mouth.

A flash of blue colored his face as he began to perspire profusely; not too good... He didn’t expect it to taste that bad.

“Great…not only will I have to travel to Tyrone on foot but with an empty stomach before dawn …” whined the swordsman as he lay down on the stone cold ground and took a nap.

“Hey yer laddie, why thou sleeping on such rubble ground? Its not good for yer human body, yer know?” shouted an unknown voice as it woke Lynx up. Lynx set his eyes upon the miniature man---no, more like a dwarf sitting on a caravan right beside him.

“Nah…it’s alright, I am setting out for Tyrone before dawn which is soon, are you heading to Tyrone” replied the swordsman as he browsed through the caravan with his tired green eyes. it was facing towards the road to Tyrone.

“Aye, I’m hoping to seek a fortune by selling off my merchandise in Tyrone, I heard that the prices there are exaggerating. My goods will surely be sold out in no time judging by my own prices. Need a ride, laddie? I may need some assistance here, I need a fine warrior like yer, there’s been more bandits making their appearance along the road to Tyrone. After all as Lord Mirgalen always say the more the merrier.” laughed the dwarf as he stroke his beard down continuously.

“Sure, why not? I’m Lynx, Lynx Nexus. Who are you friend?” answered Lynx as he raised his hand for a shake. “Phft… Just because I got short arms doesn’t means that yer can make fun of me, oh well, the name’s Randelf Thorin” claimed the dwarfen merchant as he tip-toed for the shake.

(OOC: Tell me if I have any errors again*currently trying to sketch out Lynx*, btw just to point out, Issac and Randelf are NPCs, so feel free to use them in the plot.^.^)

Sigel, from where he was hovering in the meeting room in the Solar Temple, watched as the Moonseekers entered the room. Even as his blue eyes were intense with concentration, his mind was elsewhere, watching one amusing mortal whom he had a conversation about snake and food.

As the last person filed into the room, the Sun God decided that it was time for him to make an appearance. With a great sigh that expressed all the emotions he had about the quest for Luminelle's shards, he shimmered, and a bright ray of light shone from the center of the ceiling down the room.

The occupants of the room shielded their face as the light became so bright that they could not bear to see it. Then it slowly faded away, leaving the glowing Sigel at where it was. He was wearing a splendid golden robe that matched his blond curls and gave off the same warm amber glow of the Sun God. The signs of fatigue that previously marred his good-looking face were gone after a good night’s rest. He looked every bit the Sun God his worshippers envisioned.

Once everyone had recovered from their initial reactions of being in a God’s presence, Sigel spoke, his voice pleasant to the ears and ringing with authority and severity. “I would like to thank all of you for journeying here, and expressing interest in the quest for the Moon Shards. Different reasons may drive you here, but all of you share the same purpose. To find the pieces of the broke Moon Core.”

“The Star God and I were good friends of the Moon Goddess, and the unfortunate incident upsets us as well as to Domiria’s balance. It is not hard to notice the disasters that wrecked the world, and that a number of Moon worshippers have fallen ill. More of such disturbing occurrences could happen if Luminelle is not restored in time. The balance and welfare of Domiria lies heavily on this quest, as it is the key to restoring the Moon Goddess.”

Sigel paused, allowing what he had said to settle before he continued. “I urge all of you to cooperate together to search for the shards, and bring them here once all of them are found so the restoration can start as soon as possible, for the sake of the land and people. If all ten shards are brought back successfully, each of you will be granted a wish of your own choice within reasonable bounds. The quest can prove to be very dangerous, and if any of you were to die for the quest, you will be hailed as a hero and your name will be among the stars. However, if you were to betray the true purpose of the quest, you will have to suffer the consequences of your actions.”

The Sun God glanced at each of the faces, then smiled. “So now, why don’t each of you introduce yourself and let me know if you have any questions?”

[OOC: I gave up on introducing NPC right now. I’ll introduce them later among or after the introduction posts. So now, Moonseekers, please introduce your character to the others in the way you want them to know you as. That way we could judge what to take into account when interacting with each other.]

A ray of light hit the center of the shrine, practically blinding Maco and the others, then the true form of sigel appeared in the flesh, still glowing though (show off.)

Maco walked towards the sun god. "So this is the famous sigel, well hello, my name is Maco, a windcaster in hopes of helping in this quest, no I do not have any questions, to answer yours." The windcaster went to the nearest seat he could find and sat down.

(Not to shabby of a lie Maco, but next time, show just a little bit more respect to sigel, I don't wanna be fighting him for your protection now.)

(Yes favonius, but tell you what, i think he bought it.)

Favonius gave a faint laugh into his head and she left. "Thank you, Maco, I'm sure a servant of favonius will be very useful in this quest, anyone else"

Lakre stood up as the light entered. It slowly dissipated and became the figure of Sigel. This was amazing to Lakre. He had never seen Sigel or spoke with Sigel, but only have faith in his existence. But to have something like this appear before him seemed inconceivable. He never imagined that coming to ask about an oddity would lead to this.

He looked around after awhile upon the faces of the others there. Some were also rather amazed, while others seemed rather bored. As he wandered he came across where he saw the mysterious beast once again. This time, though, he could see much more than an outline. No one else really seemed to notice, but Lakre could. He stared at it for a moment until the creature looked at him, like before, and then he quickly looked away. “It’s huge,” is the only thing that came to his mind.

He shook his head trying to remove the thought and the worry, and he turned back to Sigel once again. Someone had just walked up to him and spoke with him momentarily. “ I couldn’t speak with him…I don’t even know if I am supposed to be here,” thought Lakre. He lowered his head hoping to not make eye contact with the god. He slowly sat back down, trying to keep himself unseen, which is rather impossible when the Sun god is standing in the midst of the room.

[OOC: Trying to bring out Lakre’s horrible social skills.
Fenrir
Fenrir hates the bright light as it left him exposed to anyone that just happen to look in his direction. He crutched down into what little shadow there is left. The only thing he hates more then the light is the god himself. Seeing Sigel again brought back the old memories of being imprisoned and bound. He almost lets out a snarl but decides against it seeing how he doesn't want to bring notice to himself just yet.

However Fenrir is now knows why he is on such a quest. So the moon goddess has been lost. That would explain the lack of a moon and the strange disbalance of power. What could or who could have caused a god to be shattered in such a manner? Though that hardly concerned him. There are only two things Fenrir desires, his freedom and his vengance. He would have to wait on vengance however he could obtain freedom once this quest is finished.

Fenrir goes back to listening to the rest of the Moonseekers. No one had notice that there are only fourteen of them in sight maybe they don't know about Fenrir or that they believed the stranger is the fifteenth member, which could give Fenrir an advantage. He has no way of trusting this stranger however he has no way of trusting anyone especially the god of the sun. He could use this stranger to his advantage then, if they believe that he is a Moonseeker then Fenrir can hide himself and work things from the shadow. Like the saying goes, to trick your enemies you must first trick your allies. Fenrir smiles in the shadows as he crutches lower. But would the gods reveal Fenrir? Or do the Moonseekers already know about him? Maybe they know he is there and just not saying anything about it. It is a rather risky plan to perform however it may benefit the quest.

Nefuriya rub her eyes vigorously, Oww, I hate bright light. she thought miserably.

Glancing sideways, she vaguely made out Drewera's figure. Like her, the dwarf had thrown up her arms protectively at the sudden appearance of the bright light.

When the her eyes finally stopped hurting, she glanced up, only to see Sigel the Sun God in full glory, standing in the middle of the shrine. He spoke authoritively though not unpleasantly.

As he ended his speech, she noticed Maco stepping forward to the blond god, "So this is the famous sigel, well hello, my name is Maco, a windcaster in hopes of helping in this quest, no I do not have any questions, to answer yours."

So he still hasn't learn any proper manners. she thought wryly. It is as expected.

"Thank you, Maco, I'm sure a servant of favonius will be very useful in this quest, anyone else"

Taking a slightly larger breath, Nefuriya stood forth, "I'm Nefuriya Kuryutie. Like Maco, I am a windcaster and priestess of the Temple of Gales."

"And I am Drewera Brikerio, worshipper of Mirgalen." Drewera's voice sounded coolly beside her. "However I am wondering. What could have caused the moon goddess, Luminielle, to shatter in the first place?"

Void twirls his weapon around before returning it to its resting-place upon his back and takes a few steps toward the vast darkness that laid deeper down the hall. He smiles lightly as he closes his eyes and takes in all the feelings and thoughts wandering through the gloomy catcomb. They represented the voices of the souls of the dead that dwelled within the silent halls of the underground grave, so Void was somewhat able to interpret their words.

Krug and Thilit looked at him confusedly, wondering what the elf was doing now.

“Darkness,” Void finally spoke out. “The ever-growing shadows hold secrets beyond anyone’s comprehension, which is why everyone fears it and which is why everyone fears the night. Because of its nocturnal nature, everyone considers it as force of evil, thus making it the negative and making “light” the positive. Light is there to protect you. Light is there to drive away the dark. Light is there to guide your way. That convention is only a false theory that society has accepted without insight into the true nature of darkness.”

Void walks slowly forward as he continues:”No one but a few knows the security that the shadows of the earth provide and they are the wielders of darkness, such as myself. It conceals us safely within its black curtains, giving an illusion of invisibility and protects us dark-dwellers by draining the life of all predators. Light acts the same way, perishing all the darkness that invades its presence. So you see, light and dark are no different from each other.”

“What is your point,” Krug growls.

Void turns around and replies:”I’m only informing you that you shouldn’t see Morwen, the queen of darkness, as the most possible suspect in this godly tragedy. Sigel, the possesser of the greatest light in the world, the sun, is just as possible of a suspect as my master. I only wanted to clear that up with you. Now, then, let us take leave. If we wish to beat the Moonseekers in the race for those shards, we need not wait around here as if time is in abundance.”

Void walks past them and exits the catacombs, returning to Thilit’s study up the stairs.
SharkFinn
"I never thought Morwen had done it," Krug said to Thilit as they sat in his study. Thilit was packing his bags; Krug had done so long before. There was little to pack. Krug was surprised, however, that he was on such good terms with the priest. He didn't think it had much of anything to do with Ignifer's warning, although that certainly kept Thilit alive. Was it just Thilit being a nice guy, or was something deeper at work?

"Me neither," said Thilit. "I don't know who did it, and frankly I don't think it matters. What happens happens, and sometimes all that's left to do is pick up the pieces. Striving for justice isn't necessarily the best course of action."

"What do you mean?" Krug asked. He was very in favor of punishing evildoers, or those who wronged him at least. He couldn't understand Thilit's point of view.

"What I mean is, we don't know who did this. It could have been Ignifer, or Morwen, Sigil, or any of those other people. Hell, Luminelle could have done it to herself. Nobody really knows. But does it matter? The damage done by this attack on a goddess, though tragic, is all within our capacity to repair. All we need is the pieces of her. But dealing justice to the culprit is beyond us. We should leave that to the gods."

"But can't we still find out who did it and then let the gods do justice to that one?"

"As I said. It's beyond the capacity of human thought. You're a religious man, Krug, you know that there are some things we just don't get. Justice, especially the idea of we lesser beings dealing justice to our creators, is way above us. We should just let this one sit."

Thilit was now ready. "One more night. Let the other priests pack, and we'll have a rousing farewell feast, and a good night's sleep, and then we can be off in the morning. One of our priests is out on a pilgrimage to Tyrone, and you can sleep in his room. But what the hell, let's party!" Thilit said, throwing up his hands with enthusiasm.

It may be our last, both Krug and Thilit thought. Wherever he was now, Void was probably thinking the same thing.

The presence of food intrigued him; he couldn’t resist the temptation no longer! Just when he was about to pop a dried fruit into his mouth, his stomach gave unwanted attention to his dwarfen friend who’s sitting at the front of the caravan.

“Lynx~~~~ this is the fifteenth time I caught you drooling over my goods” whined the frustrated dwarf as he turned back to look at the hungry swordsman.

“No, it’s the seventeenth~” muttered Lynx as he positioned himself back at the rear of the caravan scouting for any abnormalities.

“And yer proud of it I see! Arghh, the hack of it, just grab the preserved beef at the back there and stuff yer hungry mouth with it. I would hate to picture the next batch of bandits laughing to death at yer pathetic stomach again.” laughed the benevolent merchant as he faced back at the front. Lynx was overjoyed; he began to wolf down on the biggest piece of beef he could ever find.

It was already a day since they first met each other at the outskirts of the Iriania, they fought through several barbaric groups of bandits and “robbed” them instead.

“Hmmm, Lynx, yer sword techniques are something not to be reckoned with and that white blade…the sharpness and the beauty of it are so perfect yet why does it seem so familiar?” wondered the puzzled dwarf.

“Nah, must be your imagination” shot Lynx convincingly as he waved back at Randelf, signaling him to keep his eyes to the front.

Randelf laughed coolly “Heh, humans, full of mysteries as always.”

Lynx sat with silence as he stared at White Fang; he knew his father was a renowned swordsman of the land. White Fang and Shadow Slayer were his father’s favored swords even though they are rarely seen in public, some people may recognize the blades.

A snicker filled the still air, Randelf looked back once again and questioned “What on …” he stopped at the moment he saw Lynx was already on an alert status looking seriously with his dark emerald eyes at the surroundings while gripping on White Fang tightly.

“Excellent! Excellent! You are our master’s brother after all!” squeaked the mysterious voice as a group of tiny figures appeared around the caravan. Goblins.

“Great…oh great, relatives of yours? Tell them not to mess with my merchandise.” whined the confused dwarf as he took out his bizarre axe.

“Foolish dwarf, this doesn’t concern you. Lynx, our master wants you to be eliminated because your presence is a threat to his ingenious plans!” roared the goblins as they started to arm themselves with mini spears and daggers, skewering their way towards Lynx.

Arien tried to keep her eyes open as the light flashed into the temple until the strain forced them closed. When she opened them again and let her pupils readjust themselves she saw the magnificent Segil standing in the center. She listened in awe to the god, she had never encountered one before in person, not even Sireaus.

When it came for her turn to introduce herself she said softly "I-i am called A-arien, a humble worshiper of the stars." then bowed shyly and respectfully to the god.

"Ah, I see you have already started." Segil said and smiled warmly.

Arien smiled and put a hand over the moonshard around her neck, she stepped back to indicate she was finished and waited for the others to finish thier statements.

"To answer your question, Drewera, worshipper of the Earth God, the Moon Goddess was attacked." Sigel said, his voice sad and solemn. "The culprit is one of the gods as no other beings could overpower one as powerful as her, and in the chaos caused by her death, the culprit's identity was lost. We had no other ways to find out which of us had done such a deed, except to ask Luminelle herself when she is returned to us."

The Sun God fell silent, and his sorrow became almost visible to human eyes. Then he gave everyone in the room a small sad smile and continued, "That's what caused Luminelle to shatter. Now let's continue with the introductions and other questions."

"I'm going by the name Neru Eireao now, but I suppose I should let everyone know... My real name, is Neru Eiren Cesoireao. I am the second princess of Cesopia, and a High Mage in service of Lady Eithelwen." Neru bowed slightly but elegantly towards the center of the room. "I'm wish to be of service to this quest."

"Thank you, princess of Cesopia. You will be a great help to the quest." Sigel smiled and replied in kind. "Who wishes to go next?"

"I-i am called A-arien, a humble worshiper of the stars." Arien spoke up shyly, bowing to respectfully to Sigel as she finished.

"Ah, I see you have already started." Sigel smiled warmly, taking note of the Moon Shard around Arien's neck. The familiar feeling of the power from the Shard brought an ache to his heart. That was a piece of Luminelle, his dearest friend, and nine more have to be found before Luminelle could be resurrected. "Anyone else who haven't introduced themselves yet?"

Lakre heard Sigel’s voice announce for any others who would want to introduce themselves. It may be Lakre’s last chance and then he could even find out if he was supposed to be here or not. Lakre already felt awkward. He wasn’t very social due to seclusion with Role for years, and especially with a god here. The thought of being looked down upon by Sigel hovered in his mind.

Lakre peeked up, looking at Sigel, still trying to remain unnoticed. He sighed deeply choosing his path, whether it would end well or not. He stood up shakily and dusted himself off trying to make himself look good. He adjusted his clothing then realized Sigel was looking at him with a smile. Lakre dropped his hands quickly and straightened up.

Lakre looked at Sigel who nodded toward him. A lump formed in the back of Lakre’s throat as he slowly inched his way forward, trying to be formal and respectful.

“Ah…my follower. You have come just as I planned. You live just as I thought. You have faith and insight and do not need to hear from or see me to know something is troubling me. You are a gentle follower, Lakre, and you are here for a reason,” said Sigel to Lakre. What Sigel said about him took Lakre aback. Sigel knew his name, viewed him as loyal, gentle, and more. This was a day Lakre could never begin to imagine. His days had finally turned up. He recently reacquainted himself with his mother and he was able to see the one whom protected him.

“Thank you…Sigel…” replied Lakre, as it was all he could muster. A god had just spoken to Lakre. The experience made him feel all giddy inside.

Lakre stepped back, bowing his red face to Sigel, and took his seat back where he originally sat. He looked around at the people who had already introduced themselves, and to the ones who hadn’t and didn’t plan on it. His mind flashed back to the creature. He looked over to where it once stood but could no longer see anything. Lakre’s focus was gone, all he could think about was what just happened.

The goblins were closing in at quick pace, charging out with all their might towards Lynx. Lynx leapt into the air out of the caravan, doing a somersault slash, slaying a goblin. He dashed forward, swinging his blade to cleave another two goblins.

There left four hopeless goblins that were first fearless foes that were currently panicking. “Now…who’s going to take the next ride down to the underworld?” laughed Lynx hysterically as he swung White Fang to the side to rid away the blood flowing down the blade. He was savagely insane when he heard news of his “beloved” brother especially when he sent some lowly scums to assassinate him. Randelf remained seated and speechless.

The remaining goblins brought their courage back together to build their momentum in order to launch a desperate strike upon Lynx. Lynx’s eyes were burning with hatred, he threw silver daggers directly at their heads, granting instant deaths to the pitiful fools.

“You’re messing with the wrong brother!” quoted the young swordsmen as he retrieved his silver daggers from the corpses.

“Now I have seen everything, it seems like yer didn’t need any help at all!” shot Randelf sarcastically as he got off the caravan to savage any undamaged equipments from the goblins.

“But of course, they are far too easy to handle compared to those beasts I handled a few months back.” replied Lynx as he finally eased his anger down.

Randelf spoke calmly as he settled back to his seat right after the collection of the “latest products”, “Mind if yer tell me everything that I should know?”

Lynx thought deeply,“I guess I could trust him… He’s not like the rest…but…”

Lynx sighed as he entered from the back of the caravan, “Let’s see… where should I start?”

“Everything, I would want to know everything. After all, it’s still about a few hours till we reach Tyrone…I hope yer won’t mind this dwarf for being curious,” laughed the dwarf curiously as he gave the command to his horses to move the caravan on its way to Tyrone.

“I trust you my friend…” whispered the young human warmly as he took a cloth to wipe the demon blood off his weapons and began his story.

Eiyora shielded the bright light with her arms. Ouch… She thought as she put her arms down. When she looked around for what caused the bright light, she saw a glowing Sigel. She was stunned for it is her first time that she saw Sigel. She listened to Sigel and for the first time…she felt nervous.

She watched as Maco, Nefuriya, Drewera, Neru, Arien and Lakre introduced themselves and Sigel explained about the cause. She was unsure of what to say and at that moment, she noticed that Sigel was looking at her, awaiting an introduction of her. “I am Eiyora Mawrelein. I am a water mage and priestess of Lady Eithelwen.” She said nervously before turning her head down and look at the floor.

In the grand hall of the great temple of the fire god, Ignifer, the mages sat at the large table that was covered with so much food to where the table could have lost its legs at any second. But no one cared because tommorow they set out on an important quest for their god. The quest to retrieve the mystic moon shards that everyone seems to be concerned about. They do not what lies ahead for them, but all is certain that they will suceed for their faith and determination is what fuels them.

Void stands outside the room in the hallway it adjoins, and just listens to all the joyous singing and cheerful talking among the men. He almost feels sorry for having to strip his group of their collected moon shards at the end of the journey, but he, too, has someone to please. And he will not allow anyone to get in the way of this goal. Void walks out of the temple to outside and jumps into a tree present in their pleasant courtyard. He tkes a look up into the sky, but feeling of disappointment overcomes him. When he looked into the nightly sky, he usually saw the great wonder that was the moon in the sky, shining its mystic light upon the land of the nocturnal, giving them a light to guide them. Now, he only saw the stars, which glimmered sadly, like they began to miss their bright partner in the dance of night lights.

Void leans back on a tree bark and rests his head upon his arms as he gazes relentlessly into the sky. He could still hear the voices of the feast inside the temple, which nearly has him think about going in and joining them. But the elf relinquishes the thought and decides to stay outside, for tommorow the great journey begins.

---At The City Of Tyrone---(During the day of the meeting of the Moonseekers)

“Well, that’s about it, keep it to yourself my friend, I will be leaving now” sighed the scarlet-haired youth as he got of the caravan.

“Did yer think I’d allow yer to leave just like that me lad? I don’t think so! Heh, humans, full of mysteries as always!” laughed the dwarf sarcastically. It seemed to be his favorite quote ever since he met Lynx.

“Forget about it, risking a friend’s life is the last thing I ever wanted. What good will it do for you anyways.” groaned Lynx as he walked into the crowd slowly.

“Now wait a minute, aren’t yer suppose to do your job stealthly? That I can help yer, we could stalk behind them. They won’t mind a rubble old merchant caravan following them especially if it’s to a city. In any cases, I could still sell my goods along the way. Don’t yer think I am a fine companion?” reasoned Randelf hoping that he could persuade Lynx logically.

“Heh, dwarfs, not a care in the world as always.” smiled Lynx faintly as he noticed an unusual expression on the bearded face.

---Half An Hour Of Discussion/Settling the “Shop” Later---

“I will be seeking for any information in the city now then.” shouted the young swordsman as he merged into the vast crowd of Tyrone, waving at Randelf excitedly.

“And I shall be selling me goods here. Ho ho ho!” replied the dwarfen merchant gleefully as his goods were selling like hot cakes.

Tyrone was a big city where his god’s main shrine is located, Lynx was pretty tensed about his mission. It involved with the Moonseekers, a group of trust-worthy people who are looking for Moon Shards for his god and the star god in order for their wish to be granted.

Sigel waited for the last of the Moonseekers to finish their introduction before he turned his gloriously glowing self to face the hidden figure in the shadows. Fenrir.

"Will you not introduce yourself to your companions, great wolf beast Fenrir?" The Sun God's voice penetrated the darkness, making straight for the wolf that Sireaus had released for the sake of the quest. When answered with a snarl, Sigel bowed his head as if understanding and respecting Fenrir's wish.

He then glanced around the room once more, bathing the room in his warm glow as his powerful voice sounded once more. "Now that the fourteen of you have met, and recognized each other, I will leave the quest in your hands. But first, come forth, Arien and Trielani."

The two obeyed, and stepped closer to the radiance that was Sigel. The blond god cupped his hands and with a bright flash, created a handful of diamond-shaped glass-like pieces which, on closer inspection, had empty spaces in them. The pieces, ten in total, floated towards the girls. One to Arien and the other nine to Trielani.

"I have created these holders for the Moon Shards." Sigel motioned towards Arien's neck. "It will keep Luminelle's power contained within, so as not to attract the other seekers, and the crystal will give of a sense of warning if taken out of range from its designated owner. This is to keep the Shards from being stolen by others."

"Trielani," Sigel gazed at the elf and smiled, "Your condition is not unknown to me, and while I charge you with the task to keep these holders and choose the temporary owners of the Moon Shards, you are free to draw on the energy through the crystals to sustain yourself and Sister Sabalsek. Once Luminelle is restored, the two of you could then be healed."

"To the rest of you, I have nothing more to say, except to wish my blessings upon you. May the quest be successful and for Luminelle to return to us." With that, Sigel glowed brighter for a moment or two, and vanished as the glow faded away.

Instead of leaving for his palace immediately, Sigel became unseen by mortal eyes and seeked out Lakre, who had reached Tyrone after he had descended in the Great Solar Shrine. He had things to tell the young man, things about the quest.

Back in the temple, Neru blinked a few times before her eyes could adjust back to the normal lighting in the room, as the Sun God left the temple. "Okay... so now, what do we do?"

[OOC: I'm no longer in control of the roleplay except to straighten timelines and stuff, so I'm merely playing as a normal roleplayer now. The plot is in your hands, and now, you guys decide how to advance on the plot. I'll leave clues of the second Moon Shard once something is decided.]

Part One - Journey to the Tundra

"So, now what do we do?"

Ray lifted his head, and opened his eyes, "Simple. We gather information. Go to pubs, inns, arenas, shops, any place that has people, and listen. Ask around, something is bound to come up."

Ray stood up, and brushed himself off. "Travel in pairs, that way if you are attacked, you have someone with you to help out in your time of need. If you lack courage, take more than one person with you. This is simple: gather information, and stay alive. Meet back here, tomorrow morning would probably be best, and share your information. Whatever you have gathered, we need to know it all. If you are serious about this, and I'm assuming you all are, then you will not fail. Trust in your god, and let your god lead the way for you."

Another person spoke up, "And what right you do have to take the role of leader?"

Ray smiled, "Me? I have none. The two I would consider leaders at this point, would be the two girls with the shard prisons. But, seeing as they don't know what to do, I've offered a suggestion. I'll stick with it, and whomever wants to follow me, do so. I'll be waiting outside for five minutes." Ray turned his back to the crowd, and made his way out of the Shrine. He once again, took his seat upon the steps leading up, waiting for a person to join him.

Maco stood up and walked halfway out the shrine, then he nodded at his fellow companion of the winds. It seemed she nodded back, but he could not tell, his eyes were still getting adjusted to not being so bright.
After walking out he saw Ray standing, waiting.

"Kinda took a leadership role didn't you, I like that in some people, it shows they're decicive."

With a sigh ray spoke "I only do this because my god depends on it, I hardly call that not being a follower."

Maco smirked "everyone who worships a god is a follower, to the god, but they can still chose between leading other mortals like them, or being leaded by them."

Ray smiled "I guess so."

With a laugh Maco continued "So i think I heard you worship sireaus right, would explain the name ray."

Nefuriya nodded as she listened to Ray, his reasoning was sound and she had no problems with it.

"So what do we do now?" she whispered to Drewera.

"Perhaps we should follow what he said for now." the dwarf replied.

Nodding, she followed Drewera and left the shrine, catching a small glance of Maco walking several feet before them. It was then that a small growl reached her ears. Turning to Drewera, she noticed the dwarf scowling, her eyes almost burning a hole through Maco's head.

"Still don't like him?" she murmured softly.

"Of course." the dwarf all but grunted. "He never did give me any reasons not to."

"True."

Sigel faded into a small glow, which slowly floated toward Lakre. Apparently, everyone else already thought that Sigel had left. The shining orb came closer and as it did it spoke, “Follow me to the Priest’s Chamber.” Lakre nodded and began following. He heard someone talking about their plan-of-action, but following Sigel mentally sucked in Lakre that he didn’t care about what was being said.

He opened the door to chamber of the priests and once again, Sigel took form.

“Thank you for coming, Lakre. You are my lone follower in the group. I must admit, I should of called more, but choosing which ones is a very difficult task. Too many of my followers have duties that are very important. That is one reason I chose you, you aren’t being held back to protect, you only have yourself currently. But now I need to you to protect the Moonseekers.

You are the sole light in the darkness. You can trust many in the group, however…there are a few who may be disloyal. As your duty for this quest, you need to watch over everyone and make sure no one tries to steal the Moon Shards for themselves. This quest is to save Luminielle, without her the world of men and god’s are both in some chaos.”

Lakre took in the information. It was his duty to protect now, to protect the Moonseekers. Lakre began to say something when Sigel followed up with another comment.

“I also want you to watch over Trielani. She is susceptible to danger, as she has been weakened by the fall of Luminielle. I need you to keep her going; she is a key member of the team. This is all I ask.”

After saying this, Sigel once again turned into a small orb, but this time he faded completely. Lakre sighed, as he did not get to say anything back, but maybe he didn’t have to. Lakre prepared himself, after hearing of his purpose in the group, and went back to the main chamber. A few people had already gone outside. Lakre looked around at the people he was supposed to protect. He was the shepherd and they were his sheep, per say. He took notice of Trielani, making sure to remember her. As he looked around he remembered the beast. “Fenrir, was that its name?” thought Lakre to himself. He would find out more of Fenrir soon enough…hopefully.

Lakre smiled, getting rid of his previous serious attitude. He had a reason to be there now, and he knew what it was. Now, the only difficulty might be upholding it. He walked outside and noticed the half-elf and the full-elf. They were talking. The half-elf seemed really laid back. The other elf, however, seemed to have a more devious personality. ”This might be one of the people Sigel wants me to keep an extra eye on,” thought Lakre, as he walked down the stairs past them. He stood at the base of the stairs looking out to the town. What were they supposed to do now?

OOC: I missed Ray’s speech in the temple, so if anyone wants to clue my character in.
_Seph_
"So that was Sigel, huh?" Seph thought to himself as he looked out toward the city. He had never been that close to a god before; he had only seen the lady Morwen in his dreams, and indeed, she possessed the same aura as Sigel gave out. Although the intensity of his presence covered it, Seph felt the smallest traces of emotion in the sun god's voice; he too, must be struggling.

"I guess...we all have to do our parts then..." Seph whispered to himself while stretching out his arms. Although he wasn't participating in the discussion, he was surely listening in; he had thought that it would be best to keep quiet while he studies his fellow Moonseekers. He didn't know why, but while some of them were naturally good and trustworthy, some were...not giving out such pure auras. "All will be revealed in time," he thought to himself. "Now...where in this world could those moon shards have gone?" raising a hand to his chin. His thinking was cut a bit short as he felt some coming towards him. Looking back he saw that it was Lakre, a follower of Sigel. Lakre stood there beside Seph and looked out at the city, in deep thought.

"Been covening with the sun god?" Seph asked him casually, while looking at the town.

Lakre was quite surprised with the question, his gaze leaving the city's and turning towards Seph.

"Well, you had to go off on your own somewhere for a good reason," Seph said with a smile. "Anyway...the next step has been decided. We are to split up and gather information first."
Fenrir
Fenrir didn't apperciate the fact that Sigel notified the other Moonseekers of his presences. He would rather them not know he is there but the damage is already done. Perhaps Sigel knew that Fenrir was trying to keep himself hidden and only annouce his presences as an insult. Fenrir gave a low growl at the thought.

The beast stays close the the Moonseekers but kept himself in the shadows. How could he trust these mortals? Especially considering anyone of them could betray the group for power. Then again, if Fenrir could only get ahold of the shards he might obtain enough power to break the chains. This thought made the beast smile. He made up his mind, once the shards are gathered in one spot he would steal them all at once before the other gods could do anything about it. With the powers of the moon he will have vengance and rule this world. Or perhaps he'll just destroy it to add an insult to the god's injuries. He will have to operate very carefully and not let the others know of his plans. It's only a matter of obtaining the shards now. That star god will regret the day he underestimated Fenrir.

"Hmm, its seems that someone is either going to join a pair in this or going alone." Nefuriya mused as she counted the number of moonseekers present. Leaving Maco out seeing as he usually does his work alone.

Spotting Eiyora who looked as though she might as well have been an abandoned kitten, she waved at the water mage who hesitantly walked towards them.

"Want to join us? We're not so familar with this area as well." Drewera, who had apparently shared her thoughts, asked when the girl was in range.

Eiyora nodded vigorously, almost to the point where Nefuriya mentally worried about the strength of the bones at her neck.

They left the shrine moments later, chattering amongst themselves, none of them knowing where they should start looking.

That was until Eiyora tripped over her own feet again and collided into a youth who had unknowingly stepped into her path.

"Ack!" both gasped as they almost fell to the ground, only to land inches above the dusty patch of brown dirt again, both bodies suspended in the air.

"Eheh, thanks Nefuriya." the brunette said sheepishly as she and the unfortunate victim of the collision was eventually released from the suspension in the air.

Said victim's face was inscrutable as he fell deep in thought, staring at Nefuriya. When he finally looked up from his thoughts, he spoke, his voice deep but slightly melodic, "Worshipper of the Wind Goddess, Favonius?"

"That would be me." Nefuriya nodded, "And you are?"

"Lynx Nexus, worshipper of the Sun God, Sigel." the redhead replied. "By the way, do you know where the Shrine of the Sun God is?"

Narrowing her eyes slightly, Drewera asked, "If I may ask, what business do you have there?"

Ah… The number one question of the year… Lord Sigel entrusted me on this mission, I better pay heed to my actions.

He responded immediately to the dwarf in order to avoid suspicion, “I’m just a humble bounty hunter who’s passing by this town during my work, and I’ve heard the prestigious chosen ones of their gods are gathering at the great shrine of Lord Sigel to meet him today. I would very much want to meet these honorable warriors.”

“Oh really?? Well, we are Moonsee-” the Dwarf sealed the mouth of the short human maiden who seems to be around his age.

Lynx was caught a little off guard by the last sentence, he couldn’t believe what his ears told him; he didn’t quite expect such gorgeous young women (except for the Dwarf, it just wasn’t his type) to be Moonseekers, but he reacted as though he hadn’t heard anything out of the ordinary.

“Hmmm? Anyways, would you ladies like to offer assistance in guiding me to the shrine? It’s my first time venturing around this magnificent city.” he muttered uneasily as his olive-eyes wandered about shyly.

“No, we are quite busy at the moment but we can tell you the directions.” replied the silver-haired elven maiden in a sweet yet nostalgic voice to Lynx that reminded him of his step-mother. The moment he thought of his step-mother, it directly drove him to the thought about Issac. He couldn’t help but to feel the anger and fury that began to grow in a quick pace within his body.

“Is something wrong?” questioned the brown-haired maiden as she saw Lynx’s face looking flustered.

“...it’s nothing, I just happened to have a tragic incident with a snake a few days back, the location please?” He asked impatiently, hoping that it was a successful excuse to avoid any further questions that may aggravate him.

The trio directed him confusingly as he smiled a little when the trio made a huge mess among themselves over the details.

“Nefuriya right? A pleasure for meeting you and your acquaintances, thank you for your time and sorry for bumping into you little miss lady.” He spoke to Nefuriya nicely and pat onto the brown-haired head gently as he begun to walk off slowly.

“Till we meet again, see you maladies!” he waved to them once with his back was facing them and made his way towards the shrine.

I guess I will be meeting those girls more frequently in the future huh… I guess I have to watch their back in the silent side, but if Issac ever appears, bear no grudge on me, my lord…

Nefuriya watched as the red headed youth faded back into the bustling crowd. When she finally judged that the distance was safe, she murmured softly to Drewera, “He knows.”

The dwarf nodded but did not reply. Instead, she directed them to the local bar where they managed to get a small table, Eiyora still grumbling about Lynx calling her a “Little miss lady” and Nefuriya deep in thought.

“I have a feeling we’re going to see more of him later.” The wind caster finally confided to the dwarf. “Seeing as he has some sort of connection to the moonseekers.”

A dwarven head bobbed in agreement. “That is true. However what do you suspect him to be then?”

“He be friend or foe, I do not know. However, I do wish it would be the former than the latter.” Nefuriya replied, taking a small sip in the grossly diluted wine that had been set on their table.

Her dwarven companion nodded again, she too taking a small gulp of wine.

“I don’t really care who he is.” Eiyora started slowly, “But shouldn’t we be doing our job now?”

“We should.” Nefuriya agreed.

“But how do-” the water mage asked, only to be cut off by a raised dwarven hand. Its owner held a finger to her mouth and her head tilted slightly in the direction of a drunken merchant.

“Wait here.” She whispered to them before shuffling towards the merchant.

Plopping onto the seat beside him, she said, “Why the gloom? Shouldn’t the trade in Tyrone be flourishing in heaps and bounds now?”

In his drunken stupor, the man did not even lift his head to look at her before replying, “Trade may be flourishing here, friend, but certainly not in Northern Sohrya.”

“Why do you say so?”

“You’re still new in this aren’t you?”

“Sadly, I have only started trading a few weeks ago and know not much about this line.”

“I see.” The man took another swig from his mug of beer before continuing, “For decades, Northern Sohrya has always been famous for their fish trade. No fish traders would not have heard of their fishes. However, recently, trade has been scarce in that region. I heard that it is because an epidemic has hit the fishes there and they are dying out day by day.”

“If that is true, wouldn’t the fish traders be affected?”

“It is as you see, what is happening to me right now.” The man sighed, “I can only hope that the epidemic pass and the fish trade be restored soon. Or else I may be forced to change my line of trade.”

“I’m sorry that things is like this too. Hopefully the situation will get better soon.”

“Yeah… may that be true…” the drunken man mumbled and finally fell into slumber, snoring lightly on the table.

Drewera patted his back lightly before returning to her seat. Two curious faces greeted her.

“So how did it go?” Eiyora asked eagerly.

“It seems like there is some sort of strange occurrence in Northern Sohrya.” Drewera explained. At Nefuriya’s nod, she continued, “The fishes are dying there and I suspect it is the work of a moon shard. After all they do affect the environment in a way.”

“I see.” Nefuriya said, “But Northern Sohrya… isn’t that where Sulvekia the tundra is?”

The dwarf nodded.

“Then I believe we should inform the others of this quickly.”

“Let’s go then.”

[OOC: Sorry i was late in this post making. Anyways, tag fellow Moonseekers!]
Fenrir
[OOC: Bout time someone posted with something significant... and "OW" My freaking hand... you didn't have to tag so hard. That really hurt.]

Fenrir lays on the roof overhearing the conversation of Dewera and the others. He smiles in his own little way. Just a big of ease dropping is all that takes to gain the possible location of a moon shard. Though he really doesn't have to worry about retrieving the moon shards much, it would make him look good infront of the gods and ease suspensions towards him. "Heh, this stupid quest is hardly worth my time really," Fenrir says to himself as he stands up. "But if I can win my freedom atleast its worth it." The black wolf beast jumps to another building and follows the trio down below. He knew they couldn't see him up here but he had a feeling atleast one of them can sense his malice. Just the same he'll have to be cautious and not be seen.

Of course he knows this is completely unnessary knowing already they are headed towards Northern Sohrya but its been so long since he was imprisoned and the terrian might have changed significantly since then. He had to follow them to make sure he arrives at the destination. The tricky part will be staying hidden, eventually on the travel they will come to a large open area and it'll be hard to hide then. And knowing humans who travel mostly in the day he wouldn't be able to use the cover of night to hide himself. However, they might not know what he is yet, he could use the cover of confusion, maybe pass himself off as a large unintilgentable animal following them in hopes to find food. Yet, a role such as that one only seems distasteful at best, to stoop so low as to pretend to be an animal just to hide from such lowly humans. Is such an advantage of not being known worth it? Perhaps.

Lakre turned toward the man. This guy was either very insightful or just a very lucky guesser.

“Yes, I was,” replied Lakre to the man’s peculiar comment.

“Well, as I said, you had to go off on your own somewhere for a good reason.”

“True. Sigel had some other things he wanted to talk with me about…Oh, my name is Lakre.”

“Yes, I heard you introduce yourself inside the temple. My name is Seph. It seems this was your first time seeing a god.”

“Yes…I have never even heard from, had visions, or anything like that, so this was a new experience for me. It kind of seemed like I was the only one who was truly amazed by it.”

“I have never been that close to a god before either. I have seen them in my dreams, but never physically.”

“I assume you are talking about Morwen.”

“Yes, I am. Apparently I am not the only one with some insight.”

“Heh, no insight. My mentor was a follower of Morwen. I kind of sense the same effect from you. Anyway, you said that we are to split up and gather information?”

“Yes, that’s the plan.”

“Okay…sounds like a good idea. I would say since we have already met that we could form a group.”

“That would be fine with me. Anyone else you think we should talk to?”

“Actually…there is one,” said Lakre, looking up toward the temple. “There is a girl, one of the few that introduced herself to Sigel…she is a key to this mission so having her around might be good.”

“Did Sigel tell you to keep her near?”

Once again Lakre gave Seph an odd look. “You are too insightful for your own good,” commented Lakre smiling, “By the way, who came up with the plan?”

“That would be him,” said Seph pointing up the stairs at the half elf that he had passed a moment ago.

“We should talk with him, too, then,” said Lakre as he began heading back up the stairs.

"So where will we be going?" Krug asked between mouthfuls of breakfast. Hungry though he and his father's race were, he was trying to learn how to be more cultured under Thilit.

"About that..." Thilit said. "Last night I received some news from one of our kindred in northern Sohrya. We have a possible Moon Shard in or near a lake."

"A lake," Krug repeated. He rolled his eyes. "Sounds like fun." Void smiled.

"Has anybody actually seen the shard?" Void asked skeptically.

"No, but nobody's had to. It's taken almost for granted that there is one there. There's no other reason why what's been happening up there would be happening."

"Why do you say that?" Krug asked, confused.

"The fish trade in Grand Lake is hurting very badly. The fisherman have been going out to catch fish, and their nets are coming up packed to the gills. Pardon the pun."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Krug was further perplexed.

"They're full of dead fish. Fish that have been dead for days."

"Is the water clean?" Void asked.

"No more polluted than any of the thriving lakes."

"Curious."

"I take it this means we're going to Grand Lake," Krug said.

"Of course." Everyone was done eating at this point. Thilit stood up. "I'll go inform the others that we've decided upon a destination, and we'll be leaving for Sulvekia at once."

Krug shuddered. "I've heard the tales about that place. It sounds none too pleasant."

Thilit shrugged. "I hate the tundra too, but we'll be fine. We have fire mages to keep us warm, remember? If Ignifer wants these shards so badly, he'll give us means to find them."
Vex Core
Dead fish, but a clean lake? Obviously, something was in the works. There were possible reasons to the phenomenom swarming through Void's mind, but they didn't quite add up to the situation and the place. Selvekia? Where did he hear that name from before? De ja vu was defintely kicking in, yet it was hard for the elf to grasp the memory he that was showing its light.

"Let's get going, then. I will hate to have gotten there, knowing someone already obtained the shard while we froze our ass off to get it." Void chuckles and steps out the room.

He walks down the corridor toward the entrance into the temple. He sees the flames upon the walled torches flicker as he walk by, as if sensing some unusual activity going on within Void. Void knew that the fire god, Ignifer, was not yet convinced of his loyalty. He only smirks and exits the temple. Finding a tree outside, he leaps into it and lays back, awaiting his allies arrival so they can go ahead and get this shard.

"One shard already within our grasp...how lovely."

The elf smiles and closes his eyes. Thoughts of pleasing his god were already awakening within the elf's mind.

"I will prove you innocent soon, Morwen. We will teach these mortals and gods that dark is not where evil dwells. It is within the heart where true evil ambitions lie. No matter what trait one shares on the outside, the only truth comes from what lies on the inside. No matter if it's light, dark, or even the furiocious flames of Ignifier, the heart is the last to judge all."

"In the Sulvekia Tundra of the Northern Sohrya? Just which God's humour is that to drop a Moon Shard in that area?" Neru grumbled under her breath, as she recalled her boring lessons on land geography and firsthand experience of the climate. "Talk about difficult locations."

"Neru, isn't Eithelwen's main shrine in Sulvekia?" Eiyora piped up with an excited look on her face.

"Oh, right. Icicle Water Shrine is in Sulvekia." Neru tapped her staff on the ground gently as her face took on a contemplative look. "This makes things much easier if we are really going to there."

Nefuriya observed. "I suppose you will be making arrangements?"

The blond high mage nodded, and gave the windcaster a smile. "Thanks for the information. I'll try to see to some preparations now, so that we won't have to waste too much time later. Well, see you tomorrow morning then."

"Do tell the others about it if you see them. The earlier they know, the better. And they could confirm the information if they have the lead."

"I will. And if you manage to see my companion, Coran, tell him that I will be in the Crystal Water Shrine if he wants to find me." With that, Neru moved away from the group, and in the direction of her destination.
SharkFinn
The trek across the tundra was arduous, but not particularly eventful. Ignifer himself sent several will-o-the-wisps as they traveled across the snow. Whenever a wolf came, it was no trouble torching it from afar. If it did manage to creep close enough, Krug and Void were capable enough physical fighters to take it down quickly.

Soon they reached the lake, and there was no visible sign of a moon shard, except...

"Frozen fish corpses," Thilit said with a sigh. "Gracious Ignifer, I'm glad it's so cold here, or else the stench alone would be protection enough for the moon shard."

"It appears it may have protection anyway -- or, at least, a prior claim," Void said. He pointed eastward, where there was a small village.

"A town," Krug grumbled.

"Not so much that. I can see there's a water temple over there. The followers of Eithelwen will be looking for the shard, and if they haven't already found it, they will soon."

"If they had found it, wouldn't the fish be back to normal?"

"They're all dead anyway. All of them. The economy of this region has been devastated by this occurrence, and you can be certain they're going to want to find the other shards to prevent such an event from ever happening again. Odds are there's a hatchery somewhere up here, and the lake can be repopulated, but not until this place is cleaned out."

"Looks like they're working on that, too." A boat was lowering its nets, gathering the dead fish, and bringing them to an eastern shore near the town. The fisherman hadn't seemed to have noticed the party, but with their red cloaks and floating fireball for warmth, he certainly had.

"We'll have to track him down. Wait here," Void said, and slipped away into the town. About an hour and a half later, he returned. "He says that the shard's been found. It's in the temple of Eithelwen."

"Let me go there," Krug said.

"Me too," Thilit said.

"No! This is my battle. I was commissioned by Ignifer to find the shards, and I shall be the one to find them. And if I am to die in the attempt, then I shall be the first."

Void narrowed his eyes. "I don't trust you."

"I didn't trust you either, but you came back."

Void shrugged. "Thilit?"

"He is a loyal disciple of Ignifer. He will return. I trust him. Go if you wish, Krug."

"I shall return," said Krug, and he ran off into the town.

The doors of the temple flew open, and Krug's axe and sword were drawn. The worshipers of Eithelwen, currently paying tribute to the water goddess, stood up and faced the door and, seeing Krug standing there, were terrified. Those who were brave enough to fight, however, drew ritual knives -- the only weapons on their persons -- and went to meet Krug. Therefore they were Krug's first target. One's torso was knocked from his legs by Krug's battleaxe. Another was impaled through a lung by the sword. Two remained, and they froze in horror, making them easier targets for Krug. Then he slaughtered the helpless innocents, driven to rage by Ignifer.

Krug hurried to the rear of the temple. The moon shard was locked away in a safe, but several blows from Krug's axe were enough to force a hole in the top of the thin metal box. There was a glowing white shard inside. Krug put away his weapons and lifted the shard out of the safe. As he did so, images flew into his mind.

A beautiful young elven woman floated over a raft. She must have been a goddess, for she glowed with a lovely white light. She extended her arms to a large baby on the raft, gently sliding crescent moon-shaped light into his mouth -- the food of the gods, Krug thought. She came every night to the raft, steering it for two years toward the continent of Sohrya...

Then Krug remembered everything. It was the goddess Luminelle who had cared for him on his raft trip to Sohrya, she who had watched over him until he had grown strong enough to care for himself. She was the god to whom he truly owed allegiance.

Four words left Krug's mouth. "What have I done?" The experience with the shard had softened his heart, had made him almost human. The vengeful orcish spirit of his father had been nearly driven from him, and he felt more... calm, peaceful. Is this what elves feel like?

There was only one thing to do. Krug stowed away on the next ship to Ariania. It was too late to follow him before Thilit and Void even realized they had been betrayed.

[OOC: This post's timeline is one week After my last post. Which is the current time of LE's post.]

Nefuriya took in a deep mouthful of fresh Sohryan air. She tilted her head back down where the rest of the moonseekers left the ship, grateful to finally stand on land that neither bobbed nor swiveled at each step they took.

Glancing at Drewera, she noticed her Dwarven companion holding onto a parchment and standing in conversation with Neru and Eiyora. Floating towards to the trio, she noticed the deep ink etched in intricate formations on the yellowed parchment, forming the various landscapes of the continent Sohrya.

Drewera’s finger, which still quavered slightly from being too long on the ship, laid on a small foundation on the land, which was marked as Sulvekia, a little ways Northwest from the village whose habour they had landed on. The dwarf’s voice, like her finger, quavered as she spoke, “And this is?”

“It is the Icicle Water Shrine, Eithelwen’s main shrine.” Neru replied.

“So what will our plan be now?” Eiyora asked tentatively.

“We will ask about for information on the moonshard and stay here for the night. Tomorrow morn, we will set off.”

“It is around mid-day now. We shall gather back at the tavern there,” Neru pointed at the aforementioned building from her location, “when the sun sets. What we will do next will be discussed then.”

“Alright. So let’s announce it to the others and split into groups then.”

The briefing was over and done with quickly, the fifteen moonseekers easily divided into groups, each heading towards different directions in the village.

Watching the fading backs of the others, Nefuriya turned back to the group who had stayed behind, namely Drewera, Eiyora, Neru and Coran.

“Shall we go then?”

~*~

“So it is at the Icicle Water shrine now?” Neru’s voice was barely heard over the murmur of voices in the tavern.

Seph nodded, as did Arien and Lakre.

“I see. We shall make our way there then.” Neru concluded, she looked around at the other moonseekers, “However, we will rest the night here, as planned. And set off tomorrow morning. Feel free to wander about the village, rooms in the inn are reserved for you, though everyone will have to share with another. You may decide who your roommate will be amongst yourself. That is all.”

Nodding, they separate once more, some shuffling up the stairs towards the inn, some leaving to explore the village while several others stayed in the tavern.

Gulping down her fill of the wine, Drewera got up from her seat, followed closely by Nefuriya. Leaving the tavern, she wandered about the village, her eyes unconsciously drooping to roam about the ground as her legs moved of their own accord, her mind miles away, deeply occupied by thoughts. Nefuriya merely followed silently, her eyes darting about the small village, her eyes focused and intent, almost as if to record every detail of the village into her memory.

Time quite literally flew by as by the time Drewera had finally looked up from her reverie and Nefuriya finally showed the slightest hints of boredom, the sky was fully enveloped by the dark. Quietly, they returned to the inn, Drewera still buried in the thoughts and memories that always bothered her after her travels over seas. ‘After-sea-reveries’ Nefuriya had unthinkingly named it.

Reaching their destination, they grabbed a bite and entered their rooms where they wordlessly retired for bed.

~*~

“Thud, thud, thud.” Nefuriya heard as she woke slowly. Fumbling to light the candle, she floated towards the door and twisted its knob silently, opening the wooden door by a small notch. Frantic faces of several middle-aged ladies met her, one of them with her fist raised to pound against Neru’s door. The aforementioned door shifted slightly and Neru’s drowsy face peeked out from the slight gap.

“Wha-” she began, only to be cut off by the lady.

“The Icicle water shrine has been under attacked!”

[OOC: Yes, i have finally posted. I apologise for being unable to keep my word...
Anyways, the timeline is being skipped forward by a week. Whosoever wants to have some social interactions on the ship will have to do it flashback style.]
Fenrir
Fenrir didn't like being cramped up on that ship. Very little space and very few places to stay hidden. But now on dry land he contiued stalking his fellow moonseekers. Few know who he is and those that do know are unsure. But those things do not matter. He lays on the roof of the inn and slumbers keeping his senses about.

Then he hears a pounding. Bang Bang Bang, its the room below his. He gets up and listens intensely. "The Icicle Water Shrine is under attack," the voice of an elderly women cries. Under attack, that means moonseekers will go out and aid. He however has no intrest in the Shrine and would rather watch it burn then help. However the chance to see the shrine be destroyed, a shrine of a god, the very creatures he loathes. He just couldn't pass up this oppertunity. Perhaps there is intrest in the Shrine after all.

Fenrir smiles wickedly as he jumps from the Inn's roof onto another building continuing till he can get a good sight of the Shrine. And even then he continues till he can find a high enough spot to get a good view of the surrounding terrain.

He can see the attackers, all dressed in black using the cover of night as their advantage. Heh, how foolish, Fenrir thought. These attackers are smart to use the cover of night but they choose a cooler that would stick out too easily against any form of light. THey should have used a more dark blue. Fenrir smiles again, even if their attack would be mostly unsuccessful it is always fun to watch a good slaughter.

((another late post...damn, I hope this doesn't become a habit of mines))

Ten minutes passed, but there was still no sign of Krug. Void was leaning lazily against a rock, his arms crossed and eyes closed. Thilit and the other temple priests sat quietly around the will-o-wisps that provided a decent warmth for the group. Light snow began to fall down upon them, covering their red cloaks with white specks of snow. For Void, his hair was becoming white, too, with the increasing pack of the flurries dropping on his head. The cold weather was becoming colder with every passing minute. Night fell…but there was still no Krug.

Thilit rises to his feet and walks slowly over to Void. His eyes displayed the weariness that he had suffered from the long hours of no rest and desired a good sleep.

“Void,” the priest started. “Do you think we should go see if Krug is alright?”

Void smirks and replies:”He’s probably already dead. Looks like those Eithelwen workshippers were too much for the big orc. They most likely made him into a big chunk of ice and threw him into the lake.”

“This is serious! If everyone finds out that a fire workshipper attacked a water shrine just to get a moon shard, then a possible war could break out between all temples. It could cause a disaster much larger than the catastrophe created by the destruction of the moon god Luminelle! We must go there at once and check on his status.”

Void remains silent for a few moments, taking into consideration Thilit’s words. After his little moment of silence, the elf walks past the old man and begins toward the town. Thilit and the others follows after, sending the will-o-wisps away in order to not draw attention to themselves. They soon enter into the small town and it was relieving to find not much activity going on. Only an old man sat outside in his wooden chair, but he appeared to be sleeping under his masses and masses of wool. The warmth of them must have sent him into a sound sleep. The elf glanced around to see if he could find the ice shrine that the fisher he met earlier spoke of. A building with an arched roof and lit torches placed at the gates of the entrance indicated that it was definitely the place they were looking for.

The gates were half open with a variety of footsteps imprinted within the snow that rested between the gates’ doors. Void made out one of the footprints. That giant embeddment came only from an over-grown orc known as Krug. The elf’s only conclusion was that the beast was killed.

“Wait here,” Void says to the priests.

“Why do you two feel so eager to go into the temple yourselves,” Thilit asked. “I hope you two are not planning to…”

“No!” Void’s answer came quick with a slight evidence of anger within his tone.

He looked at Thilit for a few seconds before passing into the temple. The front doors were wide open, but no light was present inside. This was no problem for the dark dweller. Sight was no problem. He enters…and sees a sight that even surprised him. The workshippers of the Eithelwen shrine were slaughtered. Bodies were torn apart, heads disassembled from their necks, and a flood of blood stained the stone floor.

“This is the work of an orc, alright,” Void responds calmly. “The question is: where’s the orc?”

He takes a look further into the temple and finds a decapitated safe with a jagged edged hole in its top.

“His axe, I presume.”

He looks down into it…nothing. The elf stepped back and stared at the safe for a coniderable amount of time. The man was stunned, yet did not show it. He knew what had just happened. Someone beat him to it. Someone outsmarted him. Someone screwed with the wrong man. Void smirked slyly now and turned around to a window present in the room.

“So, my gruesome friend. You were just as likely as a suspect as I was. Fascinating. This will certainly be a challenge.”

Void returns outside, seeing the men waiting patiently for his return.

“It is what I expected,” Thilit says. “We smelled the foulness of death from out here.”

Void nodded. “Yes, our dear Krug was truly a black sheep after all.”

The priests shake their head with Thilit replying:”This is a great shame to Ignifer. Krug’s acts will not be easily forgiven. Not by us, and not by Ignifer.”

“And definitely not by me,” Void muttered to himself.

Void suddenly picks up a strange presence of energy and looks left to right.

“What is the matter,” one of the priests asks.

The elf looks carefully to the side. “We are not alone. I don’t know if it’s Krug or just a chilly breeze, but I do know that us being here is a great disturbance to the peace that laid in this land.”

“Then, we must prepare to be judged by the gods,” Thilit replied coldly.

“By them…maybe…but I do know that we’re about to be confronted by someone.”

The rougue placed his hand upon his Scizmitar on his back and awaited the arrivals.
Sole
Hard. Taut.
Without guts there is no glory.
Strings. Lace.
And a dab of sin.
Abigale's hand danced in rhythm with his coy steps. Each moment equally perplexing to the eye. A crowd had formed in front of the Icicle water shrine. Ignoring them gleefully he carried on, the doors were open wide in front of him. 'Its like the world is opening to me...perhaps today is my debut? Red carpet? Parapet? Well...the fun hasn't started...yet,' he chortled at his poetic mind. Several wounds in the wall depicted nothing short of an orc's axe had claimed the shrine for itself. 'Most likely the bumbling fools have walked in and started killing everything,' he thought solemnly as he passed the mangled forms of several downed priests, 'I certainly wonder if his companions are here.'

The safe in the rear was completely busted open, the handiwork of the bungling orc stuck out in Abigale's mind like a thorn. An itch on a ghost limb. Enraged he turned towards the exit and walked back in the direction of the crowd who appeared to be as equally perplexed as he. 'Must be that time of day,' he chuckled to himself. Abigale's long half-skirt flowed in the wind revealing his perfectly sculpted legs empowered with his favorite saying 'beauty first everything else can wait'. His right hand reached up to push his deep black hair out of his eyes. The moonseekers were no where to be found. 'Pity that they are so slow,' he surmised, 'I only JUST heard about this excursion and even I'm already here.'

Once again paying no heed to the gaggle of people slowly becoming more annoyed at his presence, Abigale quietly approached Void. His fingers snapped as he drew himself closer to the follower of Morwen. A soft brush of flesh to flesh left him feeling revitalized from his hard day at walking.

Abigale : You were his companion right? For so long you traveled together surely you must know where he is headed. From what I gather he has no way of truly protecting the shard and I want it for myself. Please tell me.

He snickered as he continued trying to seduce Void. 'Even if the fool doesn't know I can always return to looking elsewhere it just seems that this is where everyone was heading.'

(OOC : alright first post as Abigale...I'd post more but at the moment the direction seems a bit difficult to grasp.)

---Back At Randelf’s Caravan---(Day when Lynx met the trio)

“They are heading towards Sohryan, I had to bribe a priest from the temple… greedy bastard, not too sure whether it’s reliable information.” groaned Lynx as he shook his head promptly, he despised fellow Sigel followers who were so down low.

“Ah, that will probably be it! The area there has been doing poor in business recently due to some abnormalities. I heard it from a trader in the tavern moments ago when he was speaking to a pretty dwarfen girl.”

Lynx choked, “Is she…about 3’8 ft tall, considered slim and curvy by dwarven standards along with slightly rounded face that has youthful features?”

Randelf nodded as Lynx continued, “and wears a navy blue blouse and brown-checkered skirt?”

Randelf blushed, “Oh my, yer got them everything right!”

Lynx laughed, “Then we are on the right track! So I suppose we are heading towards there first?”

Randelf shook his head promptly, “Not quite, I suggest that we board the ship only when they do. It wouldn’t be nice if they make sudden changes to their destination that will be pretty annoying.”

Lynx understood what Randelf meant indirectly, things were going to be complicated if they lost track of the group that they were “stalking” on.

---On the Ship(Same Ship When The Moonseekers are Taking) Heading to Sohryan---

The breeze was cooling, it pushed Lynx’s wavy scarlet hair as it blew against him. He wore a cloak, covering his identity to avoid suspicions of the Moonseekers wandering about the ship nearby.

There are peers of my age in the entourage… I guess they have their own problems as well…

His eyes peered into the ocean.

It’s beautiful… and not to mention peaceful as well… It’s almost like a dream that a shard of a god could cause a catastrophe if it ever gets into the wrong hands… Whatever the case is, I will have my revenge against Issac no matter what!

The shrine is being attacked?!? Issac!!!

Lynx was stunned by the bizarre uproar by the villagers whom were panicking about. He grabbed hold of one the villagers one after an another to ask details of the current event but it led to no alas, all stuttered, “Kyahhh!!! Don’t kill me!” Their eyes were quivering with shameless fear and distraught which pinched him to think he was mistaken as the villain.

“What are you doing!” groaned the dwarfian friend as he slammed a shield on Lynx’s senseless head. Lynx threw back a glare, the same glare as he gave when he fought Issac’s minions. Randelf took a few steps back before Lynx, realizing that he did the most reckless thing that pissed Lynx off even further.

Lynx paid no heed to Randelf. He wore his cloak and immediately ride onto a horse nearby and galloped away, towards the direction of the gates of the Icicle Water Shrine of Eithelwen, with his emerald eyes burning with anger and hatred.

(OOC:I will be editting about the part on how Lynx arrive at the gates after confirming a few things with the Rpers.)

Neru tried to push the horse she rode to go faster, even as wind had whipped her hair back and pushed against her worried face with all it could. The temple of Eithelwen was some distance away from the village, and she knew that every passing moment counted. How could anyone attack the worship place of the Water Goddess?! Why would they do that? Frustrated, she gripped her staff tightly, and whispered urging words to the horse.

Finally the shrine came into view and Neru almost leapt of the horse without waiting for the beast to come to a stop. Pulling up her robes, she broke out into a run until she reached the crowd, which she quickly squeezed through to pass the gates and rushed into the shrine. The scene displayed before her eyes shocked her so much she thought she could not move and could not breath.

When she finally gathered the nerves and pushed her muscles to do their work, she stumbled towards one of the fallen priests who was a good acquaintance of hers while she was here at the shrine as part of her training. Tears tumbled down her cheeks as she held back the sob that was fighting to get loose. With shaking hands, she leaned forward and closed his opened but lifeless eyes.

Without even bothering to wipe away the tears on her face, she got up, with the help of her staff and began looking for survivors. Her face turned paler and paler as she siphoned through the bodies, each familiar face hammering a nail further into her heart and releasing the dam on her tears again and again. Her robes became more and more stained with the dark red liquid of life that had been spilled, as she tried to seek for life within any of the fallen.

Finally, she found what she was searching for. One young acolyte was found at the far side of the hall, had escaped from the full impact of the attacker, probably by chance. Though not instantaneous, the boy's injuries were as fatal as all the others caused by that very weapon on the same night. Even if there was a healer around, the boy had lost too much blood. He could not survive.

Neru wept again, as she shook her head, refusing to believe that she could not save him. The boy, probably already knowing that he had not long to live, grasped the mage's hands weakly and told her of what happened. He spoke of the Moon Shard that was found in Sulvekia, and the jubilance of the finding. He spoke of the orc that entered and started killing, and the terror and pain. He spoke of his dream of wanting to be a great mage, to help people against disasters with his powers, but even as he spoke, his dream and the light of his life faded away from his eyes.

Closing his eyes, as she did for all the others she had came across, Neru grabbed her staff and advanced down the back of the temple, her eyes flaring with great sorrow and rage of equal amount. She vowed, that she would do anything to get the culprit of the one who was willing to slaughter the worshippers of Eithelwen, for the sake of a Moon Shard.

Krug's ship had scarcely gone a hundred feet when guilt overtook him. He leapt off the side and swam to shore, not caring if he was caught or who would catch him. He knew the Moonseekers would be drawn to the slaughter he had caused, and he also knew the Moonseekers could be trusted with the shard he had found. If anyone was to kill him, he would want to be executed by one of them.

He hurried back to the Water Shrine, where large crowds were gathering to witness the slaughter. He burst through the thin gates with scarcely an effort, just like before. When he arrived, he looked at all the blood, the bodies... and one beautiful girl staring at the safe Krug had torn open. She turned, looked at Krug, and watched in horror as the abomination before her... knelt down?

"I'm sorry," Krug half-mumbled mournfully. "I don't know what came over me. It's funny... I was under the control of one god, took a Moon Shard for him, and when I got it, I realized who I truly owed my allegiance to." He pulled the Shard out of his knapsack and stared at it, remembering his surrogate mother. "Luminelle was like a mother to me. She cared for me, she watched out for me as I floated out to sea and guided me on the journey. She taught me how to live in the wild. She is now teaching me how to be a civilized being."

He looked down at a dead priest. "It's funny, almost, although no slaughter of this magnitude can really be funny. But it's strange how we aren't ever really in control of our actions, and yet we are. We can choose to allow ourselves to fall under the control of others, or we can act of our own accord. I've never had the brain to control myself, and even now I don't believe I'm the one saying these words. I don't know who the real Krug is. Would the real Krug have done this at all? Would the real Krug have kept running? I don't know. But now I know that Luminelle rules my life, and I have ignored her. The least I can do is help her in her hour of need.

"I hereby renounce the ways of Ignifer, and pledge my loyalty to Luminelle. I know this is all coming so fast for you, elf whose name I don't know, but I am no longer the monster I was. As such, I place myself under your control. Do with me as you will. Kill me, take me under your wing, or whatever, but please, help Luminelle." He dropped the shard at a stunned Neru's feet and awaited judgment.

(Argh. Haven't done this for a while. Edited for stupid mistakes...)

Nefuriya gritted her teeth against the overwhelming air pressure as she pushed the wind from her path. Of all the time for the shrine to be attacked, it had to be a windy night! she thought irritably, as she fought down yet another tide of pressure that threatened to crack her windshield.

Through her half closed eyes, she could make out the vague shape of the shrine. Allowing herself to drop lower, she pushed forward, sending herself further ahead of the other moonseekers. She stopped only when she was several metres from the entrance, far enough for her to scout the grounds for enemies, yet not too far to be caught.

Almost at once, her attention was caught by the small scuffle at amongst the crowd that had gathered around the shrine. Floating forward, she noticed the source of the scuffle—a familiar figure charging into the shrine, his weapon held in clear view. Metres from the man, Neru ran through the crowds, towards the shrine gates.

They’re going to crash. Nefuriya thought belatedly as she watched the two move in almost perfect synchrony. It was only at the last minute did her wits return her and she sent a force at the stranger, turning his forward momentum into an upward force, sending him shooting up in the air.

Ignoring the fact that he was in mid-air, the man continued his futile charge.

Sighing, Nefuriya sent blasts of wind at him, stilling his movements.

“Don’t even try to move.” She warned as she neared him, his features identifying him as the man whom she, Drewera and Eiyora had met a week ago in Tyrone.

“Let me GO!” he ignored her and began to struggle against the pressure. He stopped only when another blast of wind whapped him in the head.

“Stop that.” Nefuriya said irritably, feeling the coming of a headache. “Whatever you’re going after is probably long gone. You might as well save the energy.”

“I… alright.” Lynx finally conceded as he hung his head in disappointment. He looked up again a second after, surprise in his face. “Aren’t you Nefuriya Kuryutie?”

Oh so he had remembered her after all.

“Yes, I am, Lynx Nexus. What are you here for?”

“I heard that the shrine was under attack and…” the red-haired sun god worshipper replied.

“You thought that it’s done by that person you’re after?”

He nodded.

“Very well. Since we’re both after the same person, allow me to offer a temporary truce between both of us.”

“Alright.” Lynx said as he, having the pressure eased off him, took the raised hand and shook it.

[OOC: Argh, sorry it's so darned short >.> Anyways, tag Alex!]
