My character has a beautiful secret in case you didn't notice but that will definitely be saved for later.

Did you... not read the very first post? There's a hidden secret, and as the RP progresses, the players will learn more and more of this secret. Anyway, look forward to learning when a new week will begin, alright?

Currently, this RP is running much more slowly than I had hoped it would. Not from lack of participation, not at all. But, rather, from the date system. I honestly don't think that everyone needs to post about their character in every day. I'd like to use a "every other day" system, where you simply reflect on a past day, or even come up with something that happened.

Example:
Monday- RP day
Tuesday- skipped
Wednesday- Character walks into the lounge area of the lobby, "Hey, that fight yesterday was awesome, no?"

That's the system, in it's most basic form. I'd like opinions on this as well.

I think a way to improve on that system would be to do a flashback on the previous day. That would be an excellent way to get your post length up as well.

Example: I go on to Wednesday, talk to Shin about my incredible failure in wind training, show the incredible failure in wind training (set apart and in italics) then do my Wednesday classes.

EDIT: Maybe we could do that and go 1 week IRL=1 week Fight High time. Maybe we can count today as the Monday we're already on, move on to Wednesday on Wednesday, and on the weekends we can run D&D club.

Flashback..if we did do every other day...might me odd at times..but it should work. It will make a lot more PM's between guardian and I.

But a post about every other day system would work. We would have M-W-F-Su-Tu-Th-Sa-Mo so it would easily rotate and give views from all aspects of our schedule.

Well flashbacks are one way to do it, extended discussion between two or more people can also be a good way of covering what happened during the time that wasn't posted about. Or simply not mention anything and let the day be glossed over as a normal boring day with nothing particularly interesting happening. Those always work.

Myself will be adopting a post when I'm free and try to catch up with the majority's timeline, which is sort of like what I was already doing, then be flexible about other people's usage of my character. But the main problem is still confusing timeline of the characters themselves due to other people's usage. It has a tendency to tie huge knots everywhere.

Whatever keeps the RP going is fine by me. As long as everyone can keep up, I'm fine with whatever solution you guys can come up with. =p

Rather obvious question there, Deadfire. You never need to ask before putting something like a flashback in your post. It's one of the tried-and-true methods of lengthening your post, explaining past events, and giving people insight towards your character.

Well, monday was day two, but now we're all supposed to skip a day whenever we post and post about the day that puts us in, for most, We're suppposed to be in wednesday now.

Day 1 - Sunday
Day 2 - Monday
Day 3 - (skip Tues) Wednesday
Day 4 - (skip Thurs) Friday
Day 5 - (skip Sat) Sunday
Day 6 - (skip Mon) Tuesday

So on so forth... right? Then it's takes seven days to reach Monday again, and these seven days will encompass everything that happened in two weeks?

Oh, I'm not posting Rin's timetable because the timetable thing is still confusing me. I'll just go along with the other Senior's timetable, appearing in certain classes and not in the others. Is that fine with you guys? Vern, LE and Sammy?

I'm thinking that there should be some interaction between the characters in each level, since I'm assuming that ultimately they would be in the same team for the Royal Bout and you're not going to pick a complete stranger to work with, right?

Anyhow I have been over at a friends house, staying there for a few days, cause I might be a roomate there, we were testing how well we actually got along, since it's the first time we actually hung out outside of us visiting him at the convenience store all the time. Heh, his boss actually told him that he would be fired if anyone was in the store for more than twenty minutes because of all the people that visit him. It became like a hangout with him working there, sorta like clerks.

You both treated as though Day 3(Wednesday) was Tuesday Morning instead o.O Both your characters met by the pond at Monday Midnight(Tuesday very early bird time) I don't really know how to explain, but read both your posts carefully.x.X

Krazed, the timeline of your post is all... out of whack. We're still on Wednesday, and we haven't jumped anywhere, yet. The D&D club meetings are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, if memory serves me correctly (Erd, clear this up, if it's wrong), so you're going to need to switch around the days in your post. Otherwise, it's good, just rearrange the timeline. Post about Tuesday, not Saturday or Friday, seeing as we haven't gotten that far yet.

Don't delete the posts, just change the dates in them. Make the D&D club meet every three days or something.

I've noticed this time line is still very confusing, and trust me, Week Two will have a different time line, I'll talk it out with a few RPers, to make sure that it is easy to understand, and easy to manipulate in making posts. Once that is done, I'll post it here, and see what everyone else thinks of it.

For now, everyone should be on Wednesday of Week 1, or catching up to that day. Friday will be starting soon, and after that, Week Two will begin. Just hold out a little longer, while I can work out all the "loose bolts" of this system.

Week 1: Wednesday

Kory took off the knuckleduster from his left hand and put it in his pocket. "He'd better show...or else." He walked to the center of the room and closed his eyes.

Just before 5:30 arrived, Dakkar walked in. Kory's eyes snapped open and he stood up, right hand still in his pocket.

"Good job, you're not a wimp after all, for now."

"I could give a damn what you think, just lay off."

"In a real fight, there is no 'laying off' Dakkar, you're lucky I've removed my 'dusters for the sake of training."

"Is that supposed to make me feel special?"

"I believe the best way would be to evaluate your errors in our last fight."

"Errors? What errors? You mean not using my sykik power?"

Kory raised an eyebrow. "Oh? neither did I, what's your point?"

Dakkar took a fighting stance. "Nothing, I’m asking you what yours is."

"Nevermind. Your training starts now." With that, he flew at Dakkar with his left fist cocked. As he closed in, Dakkar smiled and he felt his entire arm slow down. Dakkar drew back to punch, seeming somehow faster than normally possible, and Kory flipped around his arm with a roundhouse that connected solidly with Dakkar's head.

Dakkar crashed to the ground, and Kory's arm returned to normal.

"That will be your first lesson, I'm sure. And I still didn't use my powers, though they are of a different nature. Be thankful I want you conscious. This session will end at 6:30, but you are welcome to stay longer as I have nothing to do for now anyway. But even so, for now we will forgo the use of your abilities for this session, as you still need to learn a few basics, such as how to block."

Dakkar sat up, a bit groggy still. "Whatever, I’m out at 6:30 then."

Kory patiently waited for Dakkar to ready himself again. When he did they worked on blocking for a while, but when Kory asked Dakkar to come at him with a hook to demonstrate a forearm block, Dakkar used his left arm, his right having taken enough punishment today, Kory was forced to use his right arm to block, revealing his splinted and bandaged hand.

Dakkar paused, a smirk on his face. "So you're not invincible after all I see."

Kory motioned to the rather large dent in the wall, "I got fed up waiting for you on monday."

Dakkar shrugged. "Sounds like a personal problem"

Kory's eyes narrowed. "What else is there?"

"What happened to your hand?"

Kory turned away. "That s not for you to know." He paused looking at his hand. "You can speed up things, right?"

"I suppose?"

Kory turned back around holding up his broken hand. "I can't be seen in public with this."

"oh you poor poor bastard, you messed up your hand. Who cares, ##### happens"

"Definitely."

"I guess I could help, what’s it worth to you?"

"A thousand?"

"I don't want your money."

"The only other thing I've got is the ability to kick ass."

Dakkar smirked. "You lay off on the annoying I am mightier than everyone attitude, and start thinking with more than just your fists, and I might be able to help you."

"As you will. I know it's gonna be tiring for you, but I can wait if you wish. It's 6:30 by the way, the lesson is over if you want to leave."

"Let me guess, you think that someone might insult your honour once they see what you did to your hand. Why are you so bound by honour anyway? Nobody really gives a damn about it."

"I'd advise you to not question or insult my honor."

"Whatever. I'll start on your hand tomorrow, for now you just need to suffer a little humiliation."

Then Dakkar looked at the clock chuckled and left, heading for his room.

I fixed it, I like it better this way actually. Sorry for being an idiot, it's my nature.

Well, I hope you don't mind me starting a fight of my own. It won't happen until monday anyway, so I can still change it if nessecary.

Actually, I would like it if many people were to just start fights of their own, with other RPers, or just with NPCs. That was the true point of this at the beginning, but more plot stuff has been added, much, much more. Thanks to stranger for that. =p

ok, I am gonna try to fix my post finally. um... i just got it. i'll do a wednesday post in geometry class and just have the memory and like, work on creating a character... one problem. I've never played. Lord Erdrick, could you please send PM me the basics of playing and making a char, and i'll just figure it out from there. Sorry that I seem slow, I will be posting when I get back from school today. A virus made me reformat my computer and the FH IC(consisting nearly 10000 characters) that I was intending to post got eaten along with it. I swear/promise that I will post it up by today ^^;;

Sasuke, I'll allow you to add more to your post, and then I will start the second week. Things will move by much, much more quickly this go 'round. For starters, I'll be posting every other day, in order to keep the timeline moving. Should some people begin to fall behind, I'll wait for them, until a certain point. When I post a new day, everyone will have two days to post their character's actions for that day.
