Chapter 1: Midterms Will Never Be The Same

Week One
36 Weeks Remain

Darkness. It was everywhere, it could not be escaped. From the depths of the darkness, a girl could be heard, sobbing. No other trace of life existed, and all that could be heard was the girl's sobs. Moments later, a door opened, the light from the hallway entered the room, and left an outline of the teen standing in the doorway. The girl could now be seen, she was at the young age of fifteen, with long silver hair, and green teary eyes. Her clothes looked similar to that of a doll's, and fell about loosely over her body.

Slowly, the teen entered the room, and flicked on the light, casting a white gleam over the room. A bed lay in the corner, a dresser that was covered in dust (from lack of usage) lay against a wall, and the girl sat at the foot of the bed, still sobbing.

The Male teen was fifteen, the look in his eyes were cold, as if he had witnessed many, many years beyond his age. He wore the typical clothes, at this point in time, of the teens in America. After all, what better way to look the part than to be the part?

The girl spoke, her voice full of sorrow, "Maxwell, why have you come?"

Maxwell chuckled to himself, "Seer, why hide in all of this darkness? It is not befitting of one with such beauty. Come now, come into the hallway, a meeting is about to take place."

The girl stood from the edge of the bed, rubbing her eyes. As if she had taken time to practice her next act, she fell to the floor, eyes closed, and her body twitching.

Maxwell slowly walked over to her Ah, another vision. And a rather violent one. Ha, I wonder what this one will entail, and kneeled by her side. When she had stopped shaking, he lifted her head up, and commanded, "Speak. What did you see?"

The girl opened her eyes, revealing the green spheres behind her eyelids, and replied, softly,

"The Elements,
walking the path sewn by the poet,
shall shatter the gates of Order,
and through chaos, liberate Man."

At this, Maxwell's eyes grew larger, and he screamed, "What?! What poet? Who controlls the elements? Liberate from whom, or from what? Damnit, woman, tell me!"

Shin slowly walked off of the bus, Tabris right behind him. It was the first day of school, and they had just returned to Fight High from their summer vaction. Over the time period, Shin was able to show Tabris more of what he had learned, and Tabris was able to learn even more about himself. Shin spoke with enthusiasm, "Tabris! We're back, man. Ah, I can't believe how much I missed this place."

Tabris' voice was full of sarcasm, "Oh... I can't believe how much I missed this place!" He then made a switch to seriousness, "Shin, it's our final year. If you don't get into a fight with someone, then I'll have to fight you. Besides, the Royal Bout is this year. Don't you want to enter that? It's every Sykik's dream!"

As the two walked down the aisle in the front office, they could already see some students waiting to enter the principle's office. Shin scoffed, "Wow, every year, the freshmen get into a fight before they even enter the place..." Tabris smiled, for he too was one of those students.

Shin smirked, "Tabris, I'm going to go and head off towards the dorms, you remember which room we have?"

Tabris replied, "426?"

Shin nodded, and made his way towards the dormitory, holding his backpack in one hand, and his suitcase in the other. From up close, it looked as if Shin's suitcase was gliding across the ground. Upon closer inspection, it looked like the baggage wasn't even touching the concrete that it was to slide across. Shin's hand wasn't even straining, and one could see that he was exerting no effort whatsoever in moving his suitcase, even though it was packed to the brim, holding a year's supply of clothes.

After his walk, Shin arrived at the dorms. The building looked as good as new, seeing as the hallways were rarely durty. The janitors had always spent their time cleaning the dorms and the classrooms, so it was expected of them. It was also known that they were payed quite a bit, more than the teachers, because of the sheer size of the campus.

Shin stood by the elevator, and dropped his suitcase, an extremely loud noise resulting from the action. Another female student looked at him, he smiled back, and she said, "Wow, you can lift that huge thing all by yourself?"

Shin couldn't believe what he had just heard, and replied, "What? It's really not that big, is it? Eh, yeah, I can lift it all by myself, thanks."

The doors to the elevator opened, and the two stepped inside. It was hard to believe that at this point, the elevators weren't flooded, but the freshmen were looking around the campus, and everyone else was catching up with old friends. Shin spoke agian, "So, what year are you?"

The girl replied, "I'm a Senior, and you?"

Shin smiled as the doors opened again, "Senior as well." The two exited the elevator, and took off in separate directions, each heading towards their rooms.

Ah, here it is, room 426. I hope it's in good shape... Shin opened the door, entered the room, and closed it behind him.

(OOC: Yay, we're starting now! Note: The minimum is 2000 at this point, I would like to see everyone trying for 2500. Thank you.

Sammy, if you'd like that character that Shin talked with to be yours, go ahead.

Let's begin!)

Selene was somewhat glad her father had agreed with her for once. The check arrived a week before the holiday ended and school set in.

3,500,000 Yen. Just enough, too.

Selene had been practicing on her skills with the machine as well. Putting in plenty of time over the holiday with one of her many hobbies. Illegal street racing. Of course, that was with someone else's car. And he was arrested a month ago.

Powersliding into the student parking lot, the black Honda Civic screeches to a halt neatly into the nearest parking space. Selene exits the shiny new vehicle, grabs her bag, and slams the door shut.

"My, my. Freshman class is pretty big this year." she says to herself.

She saw people she knew, people she didn't, people she beat the crap out of, and people that beat the crap out of her. With a sigh, Selene pulls a slip of paper out of her pants pocket.

"Room 429, huh?"

She slings her bag over her back and puts a hand on her hip.

"Where is that moron? Shin said he'd wait for me. He probably forgot again, but I guess it doesn't matter."

----

"I dare ya."

"No way! She's scary!"

"C'mon, you gotta do it. It's a tradition. Pick one!"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes!"

"Pick for me, then!"

The three boys were upholding a tradition of the school. Choose a random freshman boy and get him to hit on a random girl. Sometimes it ended with a simple slap on the face. Other times, suspesions were handed out.

"Her! Hit on her!"

The junior pointed at the ash-blonde girl sitting on a bench reading a book about Nitro Fuel-Injection systems.

"Her!? She's gotta be a junior at least! I can't hit on her!"

"Do it, or we'll just have to use the alternative. You can clean the toilets with your face, if you get my drift."

The freshman slowly walks toward Selene.

"Oh man! You're making him hit on that 'Blackout' bombshell!?"

The three boys try to hide their amusement as the freshman approches Selene.

Selene notices him as he clears his throat.

"Hmm? What? You want something?" asks Selene.

She fixes her coal-colored eyes on the boy's face. He's obviously nervous. He keeps swallowing hard, his breath is short and rough and his face is getting redder by the second. Selene looks past him to see the three boys giggling behind him. Selene's once neutral expression immediatly changes into one of the most angry faces the freshman had ever seen. Dropping her book, Selene walks right past the freshman and over toward the three others. Two of them saw her coming. The third found himself on his back, his head pinned to the ground by a black combat boot.

"So, you think this is funny, eh Kato?"

"N..no..Sel..."

"Shut up. Get out of here before I kick your ass, you maggot."

Removing her boot, the boy scrambles to his feet and flees. Selene goes back to her spot on the bench and takes a pen from her bag.

"Hey kid. C'mere."

The freshman approches her slowly and Selene grabs his hand and writes something on it in black ink.

"That's my dorm phone number. If he picks on you again, call me and tell me. I'll take care of him."

The boy stares at his hand in disbelief.

"Don't get the wrong idea, kid. I'm doing it because I hate Kato. Not because I like you."

Selene grabs her things and heads for her dorm.

Kory and Dakkar stood in front of the principal's office, Kory with blood running from his nose and a scowl on his face and Dakkar with blood running from many puncture wounds, most obviously from the bloodied steel spikes still covering Kory's knuckles, and looking dejected. Neither looked too seriously injured.

The door in front of them slammed open. The principal stood there, a look of fury on his face. "KORY!!! You already?! The first day hasn't barely started and here you are again."

Kory looked him right in the eye, "So?"

The man looked as if he was gonna hit Kory. Instead he sighed, and motioned the boys in, "Step inside. Well I guess I saw it coming (aside) again. You'd think I'd have at least an hour before this happened though."

They all went inside, the principal took his seat behind his desk and motioned the boys to do the same. Dakkar took his seat, but Kory, as always, merely stood behind his.

The principal leaned foreward onto his desk. "Ok, first and most important, are either of you hurt?"

Kory snorted, "Not likely, and he's fine too - I held back on him, no major damage, only blood loss and few bruises."

Dakkar looked as if He was about to protest, then reconsidered "Yeah, nothing too bad."

The principal looked very relieved. "That's good to hear." He looked at Kory, "But as you especially should know, though this is Fight High, fighting is against the rules when it is unscheduled and unsupervised, especially when anger provokes it. You, Dekkar, will have a detention next week for this, but you need to follow me."

Dakkar grumbles and leaves, the principal walks out the back door of his office, Kory follows him out.

"I can't belive you! He's a freshman, Kory! He doesn't know you yet, or anyone else here and yet you have to do that."

"It's not my problem, sir. He insulted my honor so I defended it, and taught him a lesson."

"Yes, yes. I know, as always. You are very lucky I'm a nice man, and that I haven't expelled you yet...."

"Is that what happens this time then? Or will I just miss a week's worth of classes again?", He snorted.

"No, this time, your punishment will not be up to me."

Kory looked a question on him, a sarcatic scowl all over his face.

The principal stopped in front of a door. "Your punishment will be up to her." It was the guidance counsellor's door. "Wait here until she comes."

"Yeah, whatever." He leaned against the wall, waiting and uncaring.

"You know what's really weird, Shin?" Tabris asked, throwing a duffel bag onto his bed as he walked into the room. He raised his suitcase and virtually body-slammed it onto the bed. The box spring creaked, bounced for a second, and remained still.

"Lots of things are really weird," Shin replied as he took his school books out of his suitcase.

Tabris rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I know. But of all the clubs at Fight High, we don't have a table-top RPG club." Shin raised an eyebrow, inviting further explanation from Tabris. "I mean, we've got everything. There's a club for every sport, movie and book clubs, math and science clubs, and even anime/manga clubs, but there's no place where anyone can just sit down and participate in a good D&D campaign."

"What's stopping you from starting one?"

"I'm glad you asked," Tabris smiled. He unzipped the duffel bag and tipped it over, emptying the contents onto the floor. Approximately five sourcebooks and a thick folder toppled out. "I used a good chunk of the money I got working this summer on buying these. The latest D&D sourcebooks, along with an entire year-long campaign I've cooked up. One session a week, starting next week, and we could easily get through it and have some pretty sweet characters."

"Where will you find members?"

"Well, gotta start somewhere. Are you in?"

Shin shrugged. "Sure. It'll be fun."

Tabris smiled again. "Good. I think things will go over well if we appeal to the lonely anime nerd demographic..." With that, he began drawing up a poster. It read as follows:

Want a fun time? Call Room 426 for information on a great new club! Dungeons & Dragons games every Saturday in Club Room F with FREE hentai!

"Free hentai." Shin said disgustedly as Tabris marched off to make copies of the poster to spread around the dorm building.

"Hey, whatever works. This will draw in the sickest minds of all. That's what makes it the most fun."

"But we'll ONLY have those people."

"Not true! Interested persons will gladly come for a good game of D&D, hentai or none."

"Do you actually intend to distribute hentai, though?"

"Of course!" Tabris winked. "Have I ever been one to break a promise?"

"You enjoy it, don't you," Shin said, shaking his head.

Tabris raised his hands defensively. "Hey, don't jump to conclusions! The stuff sickens me too. I'm just using it as a tool to get people to come to our D&D games. Wacky antics will ensue." He smiled. To Tabris' surprise, Shin smiled as well.

"If you say so."

"It will be fun."

"I know."

Tabris spent the rest of that night placing posters at intervals around the dorm and classroom buildings. Then he returned to his dorm and looked at his class schedule.

"Calculus, creative writing, physics, chemistry, British literature..." He sighed. Shin walked in and took a peek as well. "Pretty fully loaded, huh?"

"Yeah," Tabris said. "But I'll still have time to fight, and since I have everything ready for D&D, I'll be fine. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it."

"Whatever," Shin said, stretching out on his bed. Tabris shoved all his things under his bed and did likewise. He dreamed of the Royal Bout as always, and awoke only once in the middle of the night to find he had created a ball of water floating above his bed in his sleep. He smiled, allowed the water vapor to go back into the air, and laid back down again.

"Water in my sleep," he chuckled to himself before falling asleep again.

(OOC: Anyone who wants to join the D&D club is free to do so. Tabris will accept pretty much anyone.)

The front office was the last barrier before entering the school. The barrier, that had been passed through four times before and hopefully four more time sin the future, stood before him. This year he was a Junior…big, bad junior. But this year he had to focus on some other things, which he didn’t really look forward to. He wanted Wind, not lightning, but that was what he was given and he would have to make the best of it.

Bune opened the door and stepped inside. New students, mostly freshmen, were bombarding the clerk at the front desk. She had her hands full rushing through papers. It was rather funny to see one-person work so hard, but also kind of saddening that she had no help. It was rather ironic that they only had one clerk, but I guess that is acceptable since they are only truly busy a few times during the year. Bune, after taking in the scene, took one of the waiting seats.

He waited for about twenty minutes and the rush finally slowed, giving him enough time to finally sign-in. He told the clerk his name and she handed him a copy of his past records, observations, and his new schedule. Bune sighed as he looked at it, then left to his dorm. He had a single room. The past two years he had to share a room with someone he found less than pleasing, so he applied early for a single room and acquired it.

Bune took the stairs carrying his luggage and a small backpack. Room 365 was engraved in a gold plate on the door. “I guess this is it…Heh…at least I don’t have to worry about a roommate,” said Bune as he opened the door. He stepped into his room and sat the luggage and his backpack on the floor. The room was quite small. It had thin, tan carpeting. There was a desk, bookshelf, twin-sized bed, a nightstand, and then a small closet. He sat down on the white and blue striped mattress and sighed.

“Okay…classes…Mondays and Wednesdays are Wind training. Thursdays are lightning training. Friday is academic. Hm…I have Pre-Cal, Chem II, and English on Fridays…not too difficult. Mondays are Wind in-class and Wednesdays are review. Tuesdays are open…and Thursdays is in-class and review consecutively. Okay, it isn’t too much. I can handle it. Tuesdays and every evening is open.”

It was the first day of school, and Ryan was down the back, puffin on a smoke. The were one or two Juniors hanging around, trying to be cool Ryan guessed. There was one or two seniors, and a freshmen lass. He ignored them all for about twenty minutes, but in the end, curiosity got the best of him and he went over to the girl.

"G'day, how ya doin?" She looked at him curiously, the australian accent does that alot.
"Just sitting, waiting for class to start. What are you doing?" She replied politely.
"Havin a smoke, want one?" He offered up the pack.
"No, no, im sorry, i dont smoke." She said with a shake of her head.
"Ok. So what brings you to Fight High?" Ryan asked. She waved her hand infront of herself, and made a ball of fire appear.
"Fire, you?" She said.
"This" He focused and lifted up her bag into the air.
"How'd you do that?"
"I can control metal, like this" He brought his other hand around to her and she saw that he was rotating his index finger, and three metalic balls were floating around. "I used the all the tiny little metal bits and pieces in your bag to lift it up. You'd be surprised at just how mych metal there is in this world, apart from the obvious."
"I see" Came the reply.
"Well, i'd best be off, i need to see what room im in."
"You mean to say you dont know?"
"Yeah, its off somehwere that way" He waved to where all the buildings were.
"Where is all you stuff?"
"Its off somewhere in that direction" Once again he waved to where all the buildings were.
"What if someone tried to steal your stuff?"
"Well you see, thats the good thing about me, its in a completely impenetrable titanium case, lined, with aspestos. You could blast that thing with every bit of fire you can conjure up but it still wont open, only i can open it.
"Aspestos, isnt that dangerous?"
"Yes, and no. I found a way to heat it into steel, making it completely solid, and no powder or anything that could harm someone. Thereby making titanium, the strongest metal known to man, completely fire-proof."
"Thats quite clever."
"Yes indeed it is. Well, i must be off. By, the way, whats your name?"
"Oh, its Lana."
"Lana, nice name. Well, im off. Laters." He lit another smoke and started wandering towards the buildings.

When he got there he reached into his pocket to get his dorm room number, he found nothing, only his own fingers poking through the bottom of his pockets. "#####, musta fell out. Now where could i have lost it....... Down the back!" He turned to run out there but stopped when he saw Lana holding up a small white piece of fodled paper.
"Looking for this?" She said with a smirk
"Yeah, thanks" She held it out to him and he took it. "Well, must be off then, pressing business and all, you know, skipping classes, the usual. Thanks." He looked at the number on the paper and ran off towards his room.

A black limousine pulled up to the front of the school gates. A well dressed chauffeur popped out of the driver’s seat and opened the passenger door gracefully. A young girl of fifteen stepped out and stood poised looking at the school. “Wow it’s a lot bigger than I thought it was.... Come Rinofum and we shall find my living quarters.” The girl walked with the biggest steps she could in her kimono, the tips of her braided hair bounced along the ground as she hurried to get inside and begin with her first day at Fight High.

When she finally got inside she let out a squeal of joy and jumped up and down daintily so as not to ruin her clothes. “EEE! This is so exciting, my first day at the famous school of warriors!!! Rinofum, what’s taking so long? You do have all the paperwork right?”

“Yes ma’m all the papers are here.” said a tall, grey haired man in a tuxedo trying to carry about 3 large bags of luggage.

“Excellent. Give them to me and I shall wait in line for myself this time, I have to get used to you not being around anyway, It’s going to be an adventure doing everything myself.” She said in a perky tone.

“Of course madam.” the servant said and rolled his eyes behind her back while the girl ran to the back of the line with a wad of papers in her hand.

When the girl got to the clerk she put the papers in a neat pile on the counter then stood smiling with her hands behind her back fidgeting with the knot of her red obi.

“Name” the clerk said robotically.

“Naeramyl Uriquin”

The clerk promptly looked thru some files and then set a thick stack of different colored papers in front of Naeramyl. “School starts at 11 a.m. Your receipts for tuition and school handbook are included here. A map is located on the teal paper, your room number and dormitory rules are on the canary yellow one, if you have any complaints please fill out the periwinkle forum and drop it in the box outside the office. Thank you for turning in your paperwork early in the year Miss Uriquin. Have a nice day. NEXT!”

Naeramyl skipped out to where her servant was waiting, “Okay, all done, that was fun! Now onward to the dormitory.” she said raising a fist into the air. She turned quickly in the direction of the dorms hitting the people behind her with the end of her green braid in the face.

“Oy! Watch it!” some random sophomore shouted.

“Oopsie, forgive me.” she said smiling cutely with an apologetic bow then hurried off down the hall.

The dormitory was relatively clean, dust and scuff marks on the walls were the only thing there other than a couple fairly new mattresses with minimal stains, a tiny desk and chair, and two sets of dresser drawers. Naeramyl had burst in the door of room 146 and immediately began inspecting everything with fascination.

The servant staggered into the room behind her with his arms full of suitcases “Miss you should really *huff* slow down, you could *puff, wheeze* hurt yourself.”

“Oh nonsense Rinofum, you know running is good for your health. Now as your last service to me until I’m back home shall be dust off the furniture and put away my things while I wait for my new roommate okay.”

“Of course madam.”

Naeramyl stood delightfully looking out the window at her new schoolmates; she brought her fists up to her chin in a childish way “Oh this is going to be so umm… how do they say it again … Awesome! I am going to have so much fun being a sykik!”
Seluna
"Hmm... we have time for lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays if I'm not too busy." Mia scanned the piece of paper in her hand as she walked beside her brother. "Oh... no, only Mondays and Wednesdays... because you have Debate club activity on Saturdays."

"Not anymore. I was booted out at the end of last year for being 'too opinionated', remember?" Rin scowled at the memory and his eyes flared angrily. "Of course I'm opinionated, when they are a bunch of wimps with no opinions except to follow that of that stuck-up cocky fool they call a leader."

Mia handed him back his schedule with a small smile. "Ah well... their loss. But really, this is the fifth club that you have joined just last year. Are you that determined to join all the clubs in Fight High? Father and mother are a little unhappy with the rate you're changing your clubs."

Rin shot his sister a dirty look over the schedule he was studying. "No, I'm not planning to join all the clubs. If I can't stay in the next one I join, I'm not going to get involved in clubs anymore. I'll rather spend my time training for the Royal Bout."

"Whatever you want, Rin." Mia paused and gave the younger Omagus an indulgent smile. "Just don't tire yourself out and have fun. And don't get into trouble or even I can't save you out of that one."

"I know better than to get into trouble." Rin rolled his eyes and smirked as he caught sight of the figure waiting outside the door of Mia's office. "Unlike some students who need to see you."

"Kory Jerta." Mia sighed as she approached the impatiently waiting Junior, leaving Rin to study the noticeboard that was surprisingly filled with various announcements and posters. "What have you been up to?"

"Somebody insulted my honor, ma'am. I merely defended it." Kory answered.

"Defending one's honor usually does not entail being sent to see me with a bloody nose." Mia rolled her eyes like her brother did and opened her office door with just a touch on the special custom-made locking mechanism she fixed it with. "Get inside, we are going to have a long talk about defending honors."

"Mia, I'll go to my dormitory. You know where it is."

"Yeah, remember to send an email home. See you for dinner!" Mia replied before she closed the door.

Rin dragged his suitcase behind him, listening to the bustling activity around the school and the sound made by the small wheels of his suitcase as he looked through his schedule once again.

"Has anyone told you not to read while you walk?"

Hearing that female voice, Rin stopped and blinked up from the paper in his hand, to find a familiar black-haired girl standing right in front of him. He grinned. "Nice seeing you again, Joy. And yes, my sister regularly tells me that."

"Joyce, Rin, the name's Joyce. One would have thought that being my friend will make you remember my name at least, but nevermind." The girl grinned back in return, running a hand through her neat shoulder-length hair. "How does my new haircut look?"

"Incredibly sexy, dear heart." Rin swooned dramatically, drawing giggles from Joyce. "Really, it looks good on you, though I admit I'll miss seeing you with long waist-length braids. And I do know that your name is Joyce, but Joy sounds nicer."

"Heh, thanks I guess. Ooh, is that your timetable?" Joyce quickly liberated the class schedule from Rin's hand before the other could protest. "Wow, you are taking a lot of classes aren't you?"

"By normal standards, I suppose so. But my parents want me to take them and I quite like half of them so..." Rin shrugged and plucked the schedule back from Joyce before resuming his way towards the dormitories with Joyce beside him. "You didn't came here to peep at my schedule and show off your new hair, did you?"

"Nah, not really." Joyce stuck her hands into the pockets of the bell bottom jeans she wore, a small smile on her face. "I just want to find out if you're back and hang out with you a little. Not like I have any other things to do or anyone else to see, having unpacked and been chatting with everyone I knew already."

Rin glanced at Joyce and raised an eyebrow. "So you're just bored and wanted to hang out with me? Gee... thanks and I really appreciate that."

Joyce stuck her tongue out at him cheekily. "Glad you do. I don't want you to think that you're gonna spend the next one year alone when you have me as a friend, ya know?"

"Looks like I can't do as I planned now." Rin made a great show of sighing in regret and continuing in a tragic voice. "With you and Mia trying to occupy all my time, I'm not going to have any private time to do anything by myself."

"Heh, that's right. You're gonna see plenty of me." Joyce laid a hand on Rin's shoulder and winked. "'Sides, you're real fun to hang out with, too bad the others don't know that. Their loss anyway."

"God, you sound like my sister." Rin moaned in defeat. "Joyce?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you. I really do appreciate it."

Joyce grinned brightly. "Heh, no problem. Oh, by the way, what's your room?"

"Let me check... 427."

[OOC: If it's tag you want...]

The door closed and Mia sat heavily behind her desk. "What are we ever gong to do with you?"

"If you need ideas, you can suspend me, give me detention, extra work, give me ISS, fight me, get someone else to fight me, have me publically humiliated, beat me, beat me to death, give me a closet as a dorm room, take away my internet acess, put a tracking bug on me and restrict me to my room and classes, send me home, or..." His look got even more sarcastic "let me just go of course."

Mia put her head on the desk. "First. Day.... Please tell me that at least the other kid is ok, I don't want this to be like last year's incident."

"Which one?", he asked ever-so-innocently.

She raised her head, already exasperated. "Just answer the question Kory."

"No he's fine, I held back from delivering any wounds a plaster or icepack couldn't fix in a few days."

She looked relieved, "That's good, but about your punishment, I-"

"I had plenty of suggestions."

"we've tried all those on that lis that were reasonable already... I think that you could do without those nasty metal things on your hands though."

Kory's jade eyes took on a very dangerous glint then, and he gave Mia a murderous look, "You have no idea how much you would regret any such decision."

"I'm just going to pretend that wasn't a threat, be careful Kory, you really can lose a fight you know, not to mention it's not too late to expell you either. But regardless that would obviosly not solve the problem of you 'defending your honor' all the time."

Kory's eyes glinted in mirth, "Might I suggest a general announcement to stay away?"

"But then how would you make any friends?"

Kory laughed, "I don't want friends, I've done fine 3 years without them so far"

Mia stood up, "NO YOU HAVEN'T KORY!!!, You get into another fight every time I turn around, you don't do homework, you don't write home, you don't even smile except when making fun of someone! you're not 'fine', Kory, you need help."

Kory froze, eyes like steel upon Mia, then they softened as he lowered his head. "I'm sorry."

About to sit, Mia then froze also, "Is that the first time you've said that? Ever?"

"Possibly... I don't mean to upset you Ms. Omagus."

She completed the action of sitting down, "You wanna talk about it? I am the guidance counsellor."

"No, absolutely not."

"You sure, I can help."

"I said no."

"I see, but we still have to set you a punishment, Kory, and honestly I have no idea what to do this time."

"Nor I, none would affect me anyway."

Mia though about Kory's words, leaning back in her chair. After a minute, she suddenly sat up, "Aha! I've got it!"

"What?"

"You will teach Dekkar the art of Hand-to-hand combat! As you-

"WHAT?!!!"

" -came away with a bloody nose, he has promise at least."

"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!!"

"I am, the desision is final, and you start tomorrow." She typed a few things into her computer. "Yes, tomorrow at 5:30, an hour after your classes end in classroom 224. Only on Mondays and Wednesdays until I see a change in you. It will be instead of his detention as well."

"why me? As you will, but if it turns out badly-"

"Then I will take responsiility, but simply beating the stuffing out of him is not acceptable, this is to help you both. You are dismissed."

Kory stood up, "Um... actually, I also need a copy of my classes again, I dropped it for the fight."

She typed a bit, then as it printed, "Shall I hold your hand an walk you to your room as well? Just kidding Kory, here you go." She handed it to him. "No more fights though, I mean it, and you can't handle many more students I'd bet."

"Thank you Ms. Omagus...." He closed the door behind him.

"Crap...." he walked off toward his room. Seeing Tabris putting up a poster on his way. I remember playing D&D when I was still normal, it was fun... but I don't do clubs. Then he saw the bottom, free hentai, heh, what losers.

[OOC: 4065 this time. Oh yes, and feel free to stop him on his way to his room, he's quite docile now, but don't piss him off though! wink.gif]

"Come on Erudha! You know you liked it last year!" Eridlon whined as he tugged on his twin's slender pale wrist.

Said twin mumbled something inaudibly before finally grumbling, "Fine, but only if they stop seperating us to different dorms."

"I sent them the letter, I think they've allowed us to share." Eridlon replied cheerfully, throwing his sling bag across his shoulders. "Now, let's move! Or we'll be late like last year."

"Alright." Erudha sighed, picking up his own bag and left it hanging on his shoulder. He ignored Eridlon's whoop of exultation before letting his hand move up a notch, causing both to be levitated into the air.

Within minutes, they were floating several feet above the gates of the school compound.

"We're here." Erudha murmured as he lowered both of them back to the ground. His faced steeled as his feet touched the ground, slowly assuming the persona that he usually presents in school.

Strolling beside Eridlon, he made sure to check his folder for the papers before returning his glance back to his twin, who walked with the grace of a feline, smirking as he passed by several swooning girls.

"Erudha and Eridlon Gedhon, Sophomore. Our room number and timetables?" he inquired curtly as he allowed himself to float above the height of the counter.

The clerk grumbled a little before producing the aforementioned documents. "Room 250, a bed has been added for your comfort. Have a nice day. Next!"

Nodding slightly, Eruha turned away. He let himself drop slightly till he was several inches above the ground before inclining his head towards Eridlon.

"Let's move."

~*~

Eridlon sighed as he noticed his brother's cold front. He always does that in school. he thought mentally as he followed the totally black clad Erudha.

"Shall we?" he heard Erudha say and felt the familar sensation of himself being levitated upwards. Nodding, he allowed Erudha to shift them outwards and directly in front of the dormitories. With another motion of his hand, Erudha sent both of them upwards to the second floor where they landed on an empty spot.

He shot a taunting smirk at the direction where he heard, "Show offs." and slid away, following his twin who had already turned to the opposite direction.

Running to catch up with Erudha, he did not notice a tall figure near him, until it ws too late that is. The world seemed to slow down as he literally ran into the blue-haired person.

"Oomph!" he gasped as he fell onto the ground. Erudha was beside him in a flash, muttering softly in a panicked voice, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I should have waited for you. Will you be alright?"

"Yeah." he grunted as he sat up. Turning to the other person sprawled on the ground beside him, he said, "Sorry."

He took a closer look at the boy, he noticed that the boy looked distinctly unfamilar. "You don't seem familiar, freshman?"

“…”Kai stared blankly silently at the twins in front of him. Since the twins are kids after all, he decided to keep his cool. He smiled warmly instead, “No, my apologies, how could I be so careless for bumping into a kid? I am Kai, Kai Hayato. I’m a freshman starting this year.”

Now it was the twins’ turn to glare right back at him. Something he said was not right, he could tell it from their eyes. Despite of that, Kai didn’t back off nor did he look away; he still had the “advantage” of being taller than them.

“Sorry, but if I am mistaken, are you guys freshmen perhaps? Ah, look at the time, pardon for my rude behavior, but I must leave.” shot the blue-haired coldly as he made his way down to his dorm level.

The duo whispered to each other noticeably. Both of them smirked as they left the scene quietly. Kai could not be really bothered about their conversation; he just browsed at his clenched fist as he walked towards his dorm, desiring to fight someone strong. His interest of Fight High grew tremendously when he took out his handbook to read the school rules and regulations. “Nice… I think I am just going to love this school somehow” he smirked faintly at the “Fights” section. He had the intention to challenge worthy opponents not just because of some family honor and glory but he wanted to test his capability especially if he were to join the Royal Bout. His smile soon faded to a frown when he saw the section about students being expelled if the fight is not sanctioned by a teacher.

During his period of idling, girls with mini skirts passed by giggling angelically at him. Kai looked away uneasily, he had never been into contact with girls around his age ever since he started training. “Great… not only have I embarrassed myself by going to the Sophomore’s dorm level during the first day of school and some restricting school rules but now I have to put up with all these…fancy girls around me. Life is going to be a lot tougher than expected, isn’t it?” he wondered curiously as he rolled his brownish pupils. Somehow he felt a hunch that he will be meeting those two freshmen soon.

Just then, he saw a poster notifying about D&D club. “Since I am having some sports already, I might as well join a simple club…” as he froze to see the word ‘hentai’.

“Hentai…what’s that?” he declared to himself loudly as he raised his bluish eyebrow. He was even further puzzled when some girls blushed and walk away shyly. “I guess I could check it out. Everything’s worth a try right?” he thought childishly as he entered his dorm,124, swiftly.

Derdick had his small suitcase and was walking quickly into the office. Shoving the croud out of his way he made his way to the front desk. "Schedule and room number please," he asked smoothly. Recieving it, he glanced it over, noticing his room number, 211, and quickly walked out towards the dorms. He opened his room, claimed his bed in the corner by placing his suitcase on it, and quickly left again. He went out back, his trenchcoat swaying around him, his hair still smoking from a recent accident.

Walking back behind the front office, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it with his zippo, flicking it out of a hidden pocket in his coat, lighting it, and returning it all in one fluid motion. Taking a couple puffs, he took the embers from the end of it and created a small ball of fire. While still smoking he concentrated, and created a sword out of the ball. Still using his mind, he enlarged it and reached out for it. Suddenly, without warning it engulfed his hand, burning the hair on it. looking with dislike, he shook it out before it could reach the unburnt part of the sleeve of his trenchcoat. He muttered a curse, and walked around front, watching all the freshmen walking through the office. He thought a moment, about what mayhem he could cause now, maybe even cause an incident.
He thought a moment, and came up with an idea to shake them a little perhaps.

He took off his trenchcoat and his shoes, just in case, and took the same ember from his cigarette and created another fireball. Enlarging it, he stepped inside, and allowed it to envelope him, concentrating on it so it wouldn't burn his clothes. This done, he ran out screaming "Help, help, fire!!" He began to run around in circles out in front of the building. Several freshmen started screaming, and a couple older students attempted to use their powers over water to extenguish the fire. Carefully avoiding these, he ran around and fell to the ground with a final death scream. By now there was much confusion, many running about in fear yelling about the man on fire. Smiling to himself at his prank, he shot off one more huge blast, slightly blinding people, and giving him enough cover to run back behind the building without anyone noticing him. He looked himself up an down, noticing with satisfaction that his clothes were still relatively intact. He put on his shoes and coat again, and lit up another cigarette, walking back in front to observe his confusion. Many were now wondering what happened to him, looking at the spot for ashes or some sign of him. The principal even came out to look about. Laughing to himself, he walked back to his dorms to see who his roommate is.

Selene was almost to her room, walking down the main hallway when she saw him. He was at the opposite end hanging up posters. Probably for a club he just joined.

"Shin!"

The boy's face tilted back to look at her.

"Selene? That you?"

"You dumbass!"

"Oh dammit! I was supposed to wait for her, wasn't I!? Crap!!"

Shin scratches his head and meets Selene halfway down the hallway.

"Hey there. What room are you in Selene?" asks Shin.

"429. Why, where are you and Tabris holed up this year?"

"Next door." says Shin.

Selene's shoulders droop and she hangs her head.

"Oh great! Just perfect! I have to live next to you two!"

Selene spots the flyers in Shin's hands. She grabs one and reads it.

"DnD again, huh? And..."

Selene's face contorts and she slaps Shin across the face.

"You pervert! That's sick!"

Selene grabs her things and unlocks the door to her room and slams it shut again. Tabris pokes his head out of their room in curiosity.

"What was that?"

"Selene."

"Oh? Where's she dormed?"

"Right there."

Tabris breaks into a fit of laughter and goes back to reading a magazine. Selene pulls a lighter and a cigarette from her pocket and lights it. She sits on her bed and removes an ashtray from her bag and sets it on her nightstand.

"What a year this is going to be. Well, might as well take a look around. I wonder if that Auto Club is still running this year..."

Selene walks out of her room and locks the door. Cigarette still held firmly between her lips, Selene heads back downstairs to the bottom floor where all the clubs rooms were. Selene throws the smoked cigarette on the floor and grinds it into the tile with her boot.

(OOC: If anyone wants to interact with Selene, keep in mind her personality. She's not a friendly, nice person and will probably just scowl and ignore you if you say something. And above all, don't provoke/insult her. She has a reputation among all but the freshman as someone who isn't afraid the throw punches to shut you up.)

OOC: Future notice, anyone who uses my character, try to act as he would, it might help to read his description, and if I ask you to edit anything, please do so. I just don't like my characters being taken control, sometimes it cannot be helped like a fight post or whatnot, but at least let me have a round at it, like don't start a fight with my character and end it in one post, give me time to add to it. I'll extend the same courtesy to all of you. And the character's name is Dakkar, not Dekkar.

IC:

Dakkar exited the office, great, a week of detention for getting into a fight I didn't even start. Defending his honour, he's just a bully looking to rough some people up. If only I could have activated my ability then I could have moved much faster than him. Odd it just didn't want to work right. Dakkar was going over reasons why the fight didn't go very well for him. Granted the other kid was a senior, 3 years older than him at least. Probably stronger, but not faster.

In his thoughts Dakkar nearly walked right into the middle of another fight. This one was two on one, and the two appeared to be twins. "Apparently they don't call this fight high for nothing." He mumbled as he moved around the fight and made his way towards the school entrance. This was when he noticed that he had blood coming down his face, he quickly found a bathroom and rushed in. He hadn't payed much attention but he received more than a few stares from other students on his way to the bathroom.

He went over to the sink and turned the water on, then proceeded to wash the blood off of his face. The wound was nothing serious, it would heal in time. Then he was shoved to the side by a large kid, from the looks of it, another senior. Dakkar shoved the kid back, reclaiming his spot in front of the sink. The larger kid threw a fist. Dakkar activated his ability and concentrated on the atoms within the kids arm, soon they were moving slower, Dakkar ducked under the slowed swing, then shifted his concentration to his own arm, accelerating it's movement and stepped into the kid with an uppercut, taking him off of his feet and crashing him into the bathroom wall.

"That it?" Dakkar asked, the older kid was having a hard time breathing. He simply shrugged and turned back to the sink and finished cleaning his scrapes from the earlier scuffle. Dakkar then decided to go see the counselor. He didn't know what classes he had to goto, and he didn't know where his dorm was. He just hoped that no more older kids got any bright ideas, he was tired of fighting for the day.

"Thanks mom, thanks dad, you sent me to be with a bunch of freaks who think they need to show off their prowess in fighting in order to be cool. This is worse than school back in Washington." He mumbled quietly to himself as he made his way to the counselor's office. Then he realized he didn't exactly know where it was.

There were a bunch of people gathering in this area, one of them had to know where the counselor might be. but who to ask? He thought, then he spotted a girl coming down the stairs with a cigarette between her lips, she threw the butt down and smothered the smoke. Dakkar figured she was as good as anyone else.

"Hey, do you know where the counselor's office is?" He didn't pay attention to whether or not he came off as sounding rude, as far as he cared she was just like the rest of them.

Higher!

Trevor Anthony stood on the roof of the school. The roof was large, flat suface, large enough to hold several basketball courts. On the perimeter was a fence reaching ten feet into the air. From here, one would never know of the hussle and bustle of the schools first day.

It was barren ground. Untamed ground. From here all one could listen to was the whistle of the wind blowing through the chainlink fence. Behind Trevor was a door to what was once a janitor's supply room, which now served as his living qaurters. In his hand was the ultimate instrument, the Apollo's Axe, the truest friend one can ask for.

Faster!

Trevor's hand snapped up and brought the Apollo's Axe to his waste, his left hand danced along the fingerboard, while his right made with the body of the Axe. Freedom! This is what it meant to be free!

Throughout the entire school and its surrounding grounds, throughout the stadium, throughout all the dorms, a rumble was beginning to brew.

Harder!

Trevor began to feel the ectasy, his mind threatened to flee from him. He and Apollo's Axe threw reason away at its face, the fire in the musician's soul ignored all that is logic! Energy boiled around him, threatening not only to engulf him, but the entire school as well. Bolts of raw, untamed power sparked around him, his hair stood on end!

Throughout the entire school and its surrounding grounds, throughout the stadium, throughout all the dorms, a rumble grew. The freshman started to panic, even the sophmores, juniors, and seniors gave pause. Was it an earthquake? The windows vibrated, and books started to fall off shelves.

Mia stood up from her desk, and walked to a window. Without a word she stared absently out it, as if replaying some long lost memory.

LOUDER!!

Trevor lost himself in that ectasy, from that point it was just his wild soul and even wilder power, the Apollo's Axe serving both as barrier and bridge between them. It was akin to the feeling a wolf gets when howling at the moon, the feeling of a virgin just about to lose their chaste. The bolts of power took on a life of their own, lifting the musician up into the air, and covering the entire roof in a river of pure, blue energy!

The school threatened to collapse, raw energy shot through the halls, passing through people, leaving naught but a taste of that raw power behind. Students collapsed, somewhere a servent dropped all his little masters luggage. Lights flickered, and kids screamed. All organization the students made to their dorms or teachers to their classrooms were lost as objects of all matter tossed about the room. Kids could not move, at the same time could not panic either like all their senses screamed at him. They all felt it, that raw unatainable power, and were intoxicated by it.

In her room, Mia giggled at the memories of it. A nostalgic, sad giggle.

And just as quickly as it came, the feeling dissapated. The energy died away, and the muscian was slowly lowered back to the ground, sweat dripping off his face, a smile of satisfaction glued upon him.

"That was lesson one, everyone," Trevor whispered, staring at the ground on his knee's. He looked up, "Schools in session."

Tenshi sat on the northen side of the school, where the fresh air made him smile, he took a nice deep breath and looked at his schedule. "Monday, private lessons, so I can leanr teqniques wiht spirits. Tuesday, chess club, and academics, Wensday, I have of, Thursday are Meditation, so I can learn teqniques with spirits. Friday, I have of. Saturday, I teach fist fighting to this kid, and Sunday, its another day off."

"I don't care about your schedule just move a stinkin pawn or something," Tenshi's best friend, raphael was currently in a match of chest agaisnt him, and was getting a little impatient. "Why bother, if I do mak my next move you lose," Tenshi said

"I'd think I could counter whatever you throw at me, I actually practice, I doub't this one will be win and 100 loses for me."

"Fine I'll put you out of your misery," Tenshi said, moving his bishop three steps diagonally in the white space. "Check mate.... mate,"
Rapael rub his head and thought but he couldn't find anyway to counter.

"Damm, where is that supervisor so I can actually beat you at something for once," Raphael said

"Please, you won't win another battle agaisn't darkness, maybe you should quit while she's still late," Tenshi exclaimed, laughing

"Nah, besides, I love the feeling when I'm fighting you, your so challenging," Raphael pointed

"Woah, don't be getting gay on me now," Tenshi laughed and heard Miss Lily walking towards them "Start fighting I can see ya'lls."

Tenshi at that point ran five feet away from where he was standing and so did Raphael, so they were ten feet from each other, which wasn't much.

"Alright now, let us see how Darkness fairs agaisn't light yet again," Tenshi laughed then raised his hands.

"Let my veins become one with one spirit, let their power flor thru me, and let them help me kick my friends but," Tenshi said, only tenshi and the professor saw a spirit entering the body, then Tenshi looked straight agaisn't the man.

"Or we coulld see how wind fares agaisn't light," Tenshi said, but with two voices, one being his and the other being a dead fighter of the wind.

The channeler flew up and started making big target things go hit the guy, since there were alot, he was hit by some, but he got up and showed some angel wings. "Unlike you i can channel only to light people," Raphael said "But that also makes my strength, more powerful." So he did, and they fought for about 30 minutes, and found that they both sooned passed out.

Tenshi slept with good feeling, waking up Watching his body and Rapahaels on the ground. "Hmph, it was a tie, well, I should be waking up in an infermary any time soon, so better just sleep in my dream."

"Hey, do you know where the councelor's office is?"

Selene turned her head to face the speaker, a freshman boy who had a pretty nice cut on his face. It had started to bleed again and his face looked wet, probably from attempting to wash it.

"Yeah. Go back towards the front gate. All the offices are there. Councelor should be in there still." replies Selene.

"Thanks, miss...?"

"Selene."

"Right. Miss Selene. Mine's Dakkar. Well, I better go now."

Selene nods and heads down the stairs to the hallway where all the school's clubs were set up. There were a number of empty rooms for students to use to start their own as well as the clubs the school had. Selene went straight for the auto club.

"Kira, you here?" asks Selene as she enters.

The boy, dressed in a casual school uniform, turns and waves with a grin on his face. A dull rumble suddenly shook the school, sending a rippling wave of vibrations through the building. Selene and Kira look at each other and sigh.

"Well, looks like Professor Anthony is warming up. Heh heh heh!" snickers Kira.

"Awesome. Should be fun this year. Anyway, sign me up for the club this year. I got a sweet new car I'll be able to show you tonight. We can sneak out late, but anyway..."

"Sure thing. Hey, what classes are you taking?"

"Not much. English, some hand-to-hand combat classes, and Physics."

"Heh. Nothing too serious. I'm devoting myself totally to fighting this year. I'll beat you for sure this time around!"

"Keep at it. I'll see you later, okay?"

"Sure. Later, Sel."

Selene exits the room and goes out into the main courtyard and lights another cigarette. She sits on a bench in the middle of the large open area and quietly smokes while watching other students go by. The freshman boys all stare at her like she's an angel. All the rest avoid her gaze like she's a demon. Either way, Selene doensn't give a damn. They can all go to hell. She's here to win and win big. To show that worthless family of hers how priceless their "worthless" daughter is. And to kick some asses doing it all the way.

Appreaoching the school, Crimson observed what seemed to be an earthquake. "First year at this hole. I do hope to have some fun." He said to himself. After it stopped, he approached the clerk. "Sorry I'm late. I had to walk."
"And why is that?" The clerk asked.
"Because I have no transport, obviously." He replied in his usual deep, cold tone. "I am Crimson."
"Last name?" The clerk spoke curiously.
"None. I'm just known as Crimson."
"Okay. . .here it is. Room 199. Single room - Freshmen. Enjoy your stay."
"I'm sure."

As Crimson (Crim for short) walked the hallway, he found many people staring at him. His long black cape swayed as he moved, his long white hair bounced against his back, his boots clicked, and his hat shook slightly, but remained on his head, covering all his features. As he looked up and straight ahead with his cold, grey eye (the other is covered by the hat), he saw he was on the right track. Just as he reached his room, another freshmen girl clammered up to him.
"Hi I'm Jenny Wisconsin, umm, you look pretty big. I'm only a freshmen so heh, umm, can you point me towards my room?"
Being a freshmen himself, Crim didn't want to make a fool of himself. Luckily, he had studied the map over once and had an excellent visual memory.
"Up the stairs one flight, down the hall, on the left, 3 rooms from the bathroom." He pointed out.
"Wow, thanks. You must be a senior!"
"Freshmen." He replied icily.
Giving him an odd look, the girl ran off.

Clicking open the lock on his room, he entered and sat down, putting what little baggage he had on the bed. Sighing, he looked around. "Not bad. Needs a little cleaning."
Grabbing a cloth out of one of his bags, he set to getting ird of the dust etc. Once he had gotten rid of all the set flakes of dirt, he decided the room could use a bit of full on cleansing.
"Shadows, consunmate the filth of this shallow grave." A small dark hole appears, as air and dirt and junk alike were sucked into it and into oblivion.
"Much better."

Opening his bag for clothing, he pulled out an assortment of odd, but all black, clothes. Hangin them in the closet or setting them in the dresser, he soon emptied that bag. Getting the second one, he unloaded all of his common stuff. Sanitaries, personal items, things like that. The thrid bag had his fight equipment, as well as various weapons. His final bag, he opened, contained everything he need for his rituals. Setting up a shrine in the corner, he began organizing strange items such asw incence, knives, symbols, even some extrememly odd marionette type items. Exiting his room, locking the door behind him, he began exploring the school. "interesting." He though to himself.

((OOC: Sorry. Normally i would be more in-depth, but between the fact i have homework, as the problem that I've been away from this place for about a year now, and have been corrupted by gaia. "Erudha, he called us kids, right?" Eridlon growled softly to his twin who, though appeared to be cool and calm, was equally seething in anger at the impudent freshman's comment.

"I believe that was what he said." Erudha agreed, catching on what Eridlon was going about.

"A nice little pay back seems to be in order, hm?" Eridlon grinned, though his face was filled with neither joy nor glee. It was a grin that would certainly quaify for the phrase, "Revenge will be sweet".

As they walked down the corridor, students could be seen scrambling out of their way as their instinctive sense of danger kicked in. They shifted, consciously and subconsciously, away from the deep silent fury that was welled within the duo.

Finally, they stopped at room 250. Silently opening the door and stepping into the room, Erudha held the door open for his twin who bounded in almost joyfully, almost. As the door swung close, the students in the area could be seen focused onto one common object. The slightly dented doorknob that belonged to the door of room 250.

~*~

"So what's in the folder that Father gave us this morning?" Eridlon asked, hefting his slingbag from his shoulder and allowing it to slide from his grasp and onto the cottony bed, he followed the bag, flopping onto the bed gracelessly.

"Another mission." Erudha replied, sieving through the wad of papers in the aforementioned folder. "Recon. Research, record and terminate."

Eridlon's head shot up, "Terminate?"

"Yes, apparently there has been a request for the assassination of one of the targets." Erudha affirmed.

"Termination missions always take more time to be completed." Eridlon sighed.

"Don't worry, we should be able to make some time for that person after the mission." Erudha said, patting his twin's silky black hair as he passed by him, towards the otehr bed. His hand snaked up to the back of his head to release the hair tie that secured his braid.

Slowly, the braid unraveled and his hair laid slightly curly, its tip dangling just against his waistline. With his hair down framing his face, Erudha looked distinctly feminine. Eridlon whistled at the sight.

"I'm going for a shower." Erudha said, "Coming?"

After she gave him the direction of the office, Dakkar thanked her, he normally wouldn't have, but he didn't feel like pissing anyone else off today. After thanking her he went straight to the counselor's office, it was where he was brought before after getting into a fight with that senior.

He walked up to the counter and there one of the receptionists greeted him. "Hi welcome to Fight High's office, how can we help you.. oh my is that a cut on your face, come let's take you to the nurse." Dakkar shook his head, "I'll be fine, I am here to see the counselor, to get a listing of my classes, and what number my dorm room is." The receptionist acted as if she wasn't sure whether or not to fetch the nurse. C'mon lady, it's just a scratch, now let me go see the damn counselor. He thought as she seemed hesitant.

She finally sat down at her desk again and then pointed over to the counselor office door. Dakkar made his way over to the door and then knocked, no answer. He knocked again. No answer. Damn, where is the counselor at? I just want to get to my room, I don't want to get in another fight today.

He was about to turn and leave when the door opened. There before him was a beautiful woman, just by looking at her the scowl was wiped clean off of his face. "Come on in Dakkar." Again he was surprised, she knew his name. How?

He stepped into her office like she asked, and immediately took a seat. She went around to her desk and sat down. "So why are you here?" Dakkar wasn't sure what to say first, there were a few reasons that he was sitting in that chair right then.

"Well I need a copy of my schedule, and my dorm room number." She nodded. "You could have gotten these at the main office, any other reason you are here?" Dakkar nodded. "I've been in two fights since I have been here, and I have started neither of them. Does this damn school just like to pic on the new kids? I didn't even want to be here in the first place. Whatever, it doesn't matter, just give me my schedule and dorm number and I'll be out of your hair."

(ooc: sorry about the quickness of the last one, it was cut short by the bell.)

He arrived at his dorm quickly, and opened the door. There was an extra suitcase in the room, but apparently his roommate had also left in a hurry. Unconcerned, he began to empty his suitcase. In it were a few clothes and his board, which he pulled out and lay on the floor. He pulled out his few shirts, all with skating logo on them, his three identical pairs of shorts, a change of underware, and his socks. He had on him also a good amount of money, to order some more clothes later if necessary. He also unpacked a few skating magazines and catalogues and lay them under his bed. This done he threw his suitcase in the corner and put his clothes away in the small dresser at his bedside. He also took a look over his schedule. He had mondays, tuesdays, and sundays off, and only had physics and geometry wednesdays, fighting training thursdays, general fire training fridays, and a specialized fire training saturday, so he could master making his fire weapons. Happy at his schedule, he then went over and looked at the other suitcase, already partially unpacked. He looked a a few things to get an idea of his new roommate. No skateboar apparently, probably not a skater. He had, however, a lot of "skater" clothes. This alone pissed Dermian off a little. I HATE posers the thought to himself. He quickly calmed down, figured there was nothing to be done about it, and maybe he was a skater, already out skating or something. He picked up his board and left, intending to skate a little, and to ask about buying some essentials; soap and toothbrush and toothpaste, and see if there were any good places in school to buy more clothes.

He closed and locked his door, hopped on his board and rode to the end of the hallway. he jumped down and rode out the door. He circled around the dorm, completely forgetting about anything but skating, and rode around looking for good spots. He knew most already, but was always on the lookout for more. He continued to skate around the school grounds, and after tricking a picnic table and failing, falling on his ass, he remembered what he was supposed to be doing and skating toward the front office. Outside the confusion from earlier had died, although there was still some muttering about it. Most had finally realized it was a prank, but there were too many fire-users in the school to really figure it out. He went inside and asked for some supplies, and picked up a few clothes catalogues from a stand. Satisfied, he went out skating some more and lit up another cigarette, looking for the other skaters and wondering where they were; as it was already past time for skating. He saw a few here and there, but it seemed last year there were many more skaters, most of whom he were pretty friendly with. He figured they must be in some of the more dangerous spots, or else on a roof somewhere. He went to the class building to check up there for them. And worst case, they weren't there and he'd skate by himself, and try out some of his new tricks.

He got up to the roof quickly, using the service door on the top floor of the stairs. His senses were correct, all the skaters were here, some sitting on a smoke break, the rest smoking and skating. He saw some familar faces wave, he nodded back, and joined in the skating. At about seven it got too dark to see, so he left along with most of the others, and went to his dorm to grab a bite.

"Rin~" The pair of legs revealed by the skirt of the uniform stopped from their alternative swinging and one of them aimed for the nicely positioned behind of one Rin Omagus. "Get your head out from under the bed, I want to show you something."

"Joyce! Do you have to kick me... there?!" Rin carefully extracted the highest part of his body from under said bed and turned to level a furious glare at the other person in the room. "What in the seven hells is so important that you have to kick me?!"

"This." Joyce smiled calmly, accustomed to Rin's flare of anger from her harmless little pranks and bullying, and shoved a piece of paper into Rin's face. "Read it, I'm thinking of joining."

Rin snatched the paper from his face and glanced at it, his eyebrow raising after he finished skimming through the short content on it. "Free hentai? Joyce, please don't tell me you're into that kind of stuff."

"Argh, of course not! Only guys like seeing such obsence things! Perverted sick-minded people."

Rin's eyes narrowed and the poster in his hand burst into flames. "You're not implying that I'm one of them?"

"Heh, let me rephrase. Only some guys like seeing such obsence things." Joyce waved a hand and the fire went out quickly, leaving behind grey ashes that flew out of the window with another wave. "My dear Rin don't, right? Right?"

"Right. And I think I'm interested to check it out. The room is just next door anyway." Rin made a gesture towards one of the walls. "So we can probably pop a head in later. But for now... let me finish what I'm doing."

"What are you doing under the bed anyway? You making something there?" Joyce hopped off the other bed to look under the bed and was immediately blocked by Rin. "You're making it suspicious..."

"It's really nothing." Rin said firmly. It was then, when the earthquake-like tremors shook the room, and caused a sharp 'thunk' to be heard under the bed. "Oh no! Furry!"

Joyce was certain that Rin had forgotten all about her at the moment as he scrambled under the bed and tugged at something, then sighed in obvious relief and started to whisper muffled sweet nothings to that something, which was finally revealed when Rin emerged.

"A teddy bear?!" The girl spared Rin no mercy and burst out into very unlady-like laughter, clutching to her stomach as she curled up on the bed she was sitting on. "Yo-you have a te-teddy bear and hahahahah.... it's... it's called Furry?! Ha... Haha... hahahahaha....."

Rin did something that made Joyce laughed harder. He blushed bright red and sputtered unintelligently. Then he puffed out his cheeks and plopped down on his bed, hugging Furry tightly to his chest. Basically, looking so cute that Joyce could not help but laugh until she nearly could not breath.

Finally, she managed to curb her guffaws and chuckles, and tried to speak. "S-so... what is your ted-teddy bear Furry... hahaha... erm... *erhem* what is Furry doing under your bed?"

Rin tucked Furry under his chin and muttered unwillingly, "Because I want to hide him from my roommate before he finds out and reacts just like what you did. I have a reputation, you know."

Joyce nodded understandingly, though her face was still red and slightly distorted from her urge to start laughing again. "You're using wood to make something to hide it?"

"Yes." Rin replied sulkily, and Joyce choked back the warning tickles of a fresh surge of chuckles. "But it's quite weak. I used up all the wood and nails already."

"Then I'll help you with it." Joyce smiled as normal as her cramping cheek muscles allowed. "So that you won't stay mad at me for laughing at you."

"How?"

"You forgot what my minor is, Rin?" Joyce grinned and before Rin could react, she lowered herself under the bed and touched the crooked looking little cabinet attached under the bed, and concentrated. "Done."

"Really?" Rin leaned down and glanced at what was now a sturdy and straight looking compartment. He quickly made his way to the other side and placed his teddy bear into the cabinet. "Wow, thanks! It fits too!"

"Heh. Anything for my dear Rin." Joyce pat the dust out from her hair and looked around the room. "Hmm... you're done now, right?"

"Yeah." Rin's eyes peeked at her from a little way above the bed. "Why?"

"Because I want to go for dinner. I'm so hungry!" Joyce declared with a wide grin. "You're meeting up with Miss Mia for dinner right? Don't wanna be late, do you?"

"Eh?" Rin did not have much time to respond before he was dragged out of his room in a way that did not quite seemed like being dragged, and was led towards the offices.

"Dakkar... it's normal to get into fights in Fight High. Nearly all students have fought at least once while they are here. And as freshman, I would say it's also normal for you have have start neither of them." Mia pursed her lips together as she contemplated how to continue. "And this school doesn't like to pick on new kids, it's just a small percentage of people who does. Like any other school. Ryet schools have such an occurence, don't they?"

"Well I didn't ask to come here, just give me my room number and class list and I'll be on my way."

"I will give you what you want, but when I see fit." Mia grinned devilishly as she leaned back against her chair, crossing her arms with both of her hands idlly stroking her bracelets. "Which means after we answer each other's questions. Why don't you want to be here?"

Dakkar sighed, "Because I don't know anyone here, I don't enjoy fighting, I've been in two fights and I haven't even been here for an hour, I just wish I wasn't born with this damn sykik ability or whatever the hell it is."

"But you're born with it, and that's a fact. Accept it and live with it, at least while you're here. Your life will be harder if you are regretting being here every single minute for all of your future time here, and you'll be seeing me so often I won't find it funny." Mia spoke, her voice soft and neutral but her tone of voice hard. "As for not knowing anyone... you can start by knowing me and Kory, the guy who gave you that wound on your face. He'll be giving you training, as both of your punishment for fighting without teacher's permission."

"So if I am forced to train with that thick headed moron, do I still have a weeks worth of detention?"

"No." Mia smiled angelically. "I cancelled them for you. Training with Kory would be a better punishment and constraint for both of you. Even if you don't enjoy fighting, at least learn to fight better so others won't pick on you and you'll have to do this loathsome task less, no?"

"Fine, can I get my classes now?"

Mia sighed and got the information printed for Dakkar. "Here, and I included the days where you have training with Kory. Just one more thing before you go, Dakkar, your element is lightning and what you're lacking is learning how to control it, right?"

"I don't know much about it. I just know I have the ability to speed things up or slow them down, and occasionally bolts of lightning erupt from my body."

"Uncontrollable then. Speeding things up is just one of the ways of using lightning to your advantage." Small wild blue sparks began surrounding the snake-like bracelet on Mia's arm and she smiled impishly. "Lightning is my minor element, so I can teach you something about controlling it if you want."

"I don't want anything to do with it."

"Too bad then." Mia shrugged and blue sparks disappeared. "If you really want to fry the people around you so much, I supposed it can't be help. I'm thankful that I at least, won't get fried if you go out of control, and I'm hoping that your family and friends are not around you when you do that. Of course, my little brother too. Won't want him getting hurt because somebody else can't control their ability."

Dakkar stands up and grabs his papers, "Fine, I wouldn't want to hurt anyone, when do we start?"

"Thursday, during lunchtime. If I'm too busy, Friday afterschool." Mia said without checking her schedule and already knowing Dakkar's schedule from before.

"That's fine, can I go now?"

"Yes, it's dinnertime anyway, and a growing boy like you will need your food." Mia smiled as she moved to open the door for Dakkar, just in time to spot Rin and Joyce at the far end of the corridor. "Besides, I'm going to have my dinner now."

"I am not hungry, thanks anyhow, I think I'll just goto my room now." With that, Dakkar left, passing the younger Omagus and his friend, and leaving an amused Mia behind.

"Who was that?" One of Rin's golden eyebrow was raised as he reached his sister.

"Another problematic freshman." Mia said with a sigh, then smiled brightly. "Shall we go then?"

Tenshi woke up in a white bed, in the infarmary, Raphael seemed to be still a little knocked out. "Hey raphael, if your traveling in the present astral planes and looking at me right now, that was a nice fight."

"Who are you talking to," the nurse aske, coming in the room

"Heh, I'm not exactly sure if I'm talking to him, but Raphaels soul might be staring down at me wating to wake up," Tenshi said, with a slight chuckle

"You know I don't beleive in the astral planes, I'm more of a scientific type of person, an don't ask me why Sykiks exist I'm still trying to find that one out, the only reason I know about this place is that my son is a Sikik."

The nurse kept rambling on and on, making Tenshi pretend to snore.

"Just get out of here," the nurse said

"C ya" Tenshi said and left towards Mia.

"Umm, sorry for interrupting anything between you two but I left in such a hurry after getting my schedule, I kinda forgot to get my room number," tenshi said, hitting himself on the head, lightly.

"I can see why, you were just in a fight that knocked you out for awhile," Mia said patting him on the shoulder

Tenshi laughed "Yeah, tell you what, that isn't the first, I bet you can remember some fights last year I got into."

"Yes but they were supervised and you haven't killed anyone, so I'm not mad at you, oh and heres your room number."

"235, hmmm, wasn't i in 135 last year, maybe 35 is a number i should know in numerology," Tenhi said

"On the other hand, I heard you were having some problems with freshman, want me to help in anyway." Tenshi said, a little serious this time.

Kory went back to his room, first making sure it was 313 before using his key ot get in. Once inside he closed and locked the door, then rechecked to make sure the lock was secure. He sat on his bed and sighed, looking at his clock - 7:15, too early to sleep.

"Damn... why'd she have to do that? Argh.. The fighting instructor thing would've been fine if she didn't have to be a guidance cousellor and try to get me to talk. It wasn't her business anyway, guidance counsellor or not. Great... I need to relax now or I'll never sleep."

He left his room, making sure the door was loocked behind him, and left the school grounds. He walked for a while until he came to an open, burnt out field where a few miles from school. Upon seeing it he smiled, "good to see this is still unknown and undefiled." He stepped into the center of the field, and concentrated, eventually raising a sword from the ground. It was a katana made from ashes compressed until they became diamond. He smiled again as he took the crystal sword into his hands, the grip perfect. "Glad I haven't lost my touch, let's begin."

At this he began to move, at first slow into the many forms and mauvers he had been taught. "Yes, tonight is a good night HHHHEEEEEAAAAAHHH!!!!"

He began to move faster and faster, his eyes glazing over. Faster and faster he moved, until he was a blur, until he was less than a blur, not even a shadow, completely silent.

Appearing, slashing, dissapearing, reappearing at the other side of the field with a thrust. Going through utter impossibility he moved, not an ounce of sykik power being used.

He kept it up for a full two hours.

He slowed down eventually, gradually, carefully. His eyes returned to normal. He regained consciousness. He sighed and sat down, sword across his knees. "Why is that the only time I can escape? I have to be so focused that I'm not even in control of my actions to forget..." A tear rolled down his cheek, he brushed it away angrily.

"At least I should be able to sleep now. I should be getting back." He began the long trek back to Fight High. When he got back he avoided everyone else and went straight back to his room. He went in, made sure it was locked and flopped onto his bed.

"Anyone who comes in now isn't leaving."

With that he undressed, showered and got into bed. And just like almost every night for the past 3+ years, he quietly cried himself to sleep.

Shin nearly dropped a poster he was putting up when he felt the energy burst through the halls. Tabris was down on the ground, "Hey, Shin, you feel that?"

Shin nodded, "Yeah, it's the Art Teacher. He's crazy. Lucky me, I've got a class with him..."

Tabris walked over to Shin, whom had just finished applying his poster, and said, "When did you get your schedule? I never saw you pick it up..."

Shin smiled, "Oh, I got one of those request forms that lets you get it over summer, y'know, so you can prepare and all that stuff. It's really useful..."

Tabris smacked Shin on the back of the head, "You're telling me you've up and gone prep? Shin, I can't believe you... preparing for school ahead of time..."

Shin lifted his right hand and pushed his glasses back up, "Hey, I never said I prepared. Besides, who prepares for three classes anyway?"

"You... You're telling me you only have three classes?"

"Yeah. Music, Art & Theory, and... some fighting class..."

"Wait, you have all the requirements out of the way? ...Music? What instrument?"

"I got all of my requirements done early, so that I could have this year to just relax. And, I'd like to learn to play the guitar, thanks very much."

"Oy! You said a fighting class? You aren't a fighter. You don't need the class."

"True, but it never hurt to be prepared, now did it? Eh, the description said: 'learn a martial art! Have fun! Meet people! Fight!' Sounds kinda force-fed, no?"

Tabris smirked, "Yeah, sounds really forced. Anyway, I could've taught you a martial art. Why didn't you ask?"

"No offense, but uh... um... yeah. You're you, Tabris. No... Not sure! That's why!" Shin's eyes lit up, even though it was rather hard to see behind all of his hair.

"Well, whatever, Shin. I'm gonna go put more posters up, want to help?"

Shin pondered this for a moment. "Um... No, that's alright. Boy, this will be some interesting year. Selene living next door, Rin right across the lounge area... I wonder who's going to take the other room?"

"You've got that right. Interesting, indeed. Well, I'm off. Find me if you want to help! Oh, and for your convenience, I've left ten posters right inside the door. Feel free to put 'em up."

Tabris took off down the hall, leaving Shin in the lounge area. He slowly made his way over to the chairs surrounding the table, and took a seat. Moments later, another student had passed by.

"Hello Rin. How're things?" Shin smiled while speaking.

"So-so, and yourself, Shin?"

"Fine and dandy. Hey, you hear of the D&D club Tabris is starting?"

"Yes. I'd join, but... hentai? Come on, you'll have anime and manga fanboys all over the place."

Shin smirked, "Hey, don't blame me. Tabris was the mastermind this time. I'm just along for the ride." At this Rin opened the door to his room, entered, and shut it behind him. Shin blinked a few times, then shrugged.

Moments later, Shin could smell smoke. His back was facing the southern hallway, and he could hear footsteps. As they approached him, the footsteps got louder, and the smoke continued to get stronger. Shin smirked, and pulled the glasses from his face, wiped his brow, and placed them back on. "You know, smoke kills, Sel."

Selena walked passed Shin, and took a seat at the chair across from him, her back facing the north end. "Wow, thanks for the consideration, I'll be sure to keep your words of advice in mind. You've certainly shown this emotion before."

Shin stretched before speaking, "Cut the sarcasm. It doesn't suit you. You're blunt and to the point. So quit the dancing."

Selena smirked, inhaling deeply before speaking, "Nice of you to notice. How long have we known each other, Shin?"

Shin pulled the hair from his face, revealing his green eyes. "Three years to the date, Sel. Why do you ask?"

"You've never once called me Blackout."

"It doesn't suit you. Sure, it's the namesake of your power. But, that put aside, Blackout doesn't just quite fit one such as yourself." Shin smiled, stood up, and walked back to his door. "If you need me, give me a knock. Tabris is somewhere on campus, putting up... um..."

She finished the sentence, "Posters. I saw him on the way back."

"Yeah, heh, posters... And just for the record, none of this was my idea. None of it." Shin opened the door, took a glance inside, turned back, and said before entering the room, "I'll be going to the pond tonight, if you've got nothing else to do, you should go too. It's quiet and peaceful there at night. Gives plenty of time and room to think."

As he closed the door, Selena managed to say, "I'll give it some thought."

Inside the room, Shin noticed the posters leaned up against the back of the door. He... he wasn't lying... He shrugged, and continued towards the bed near the window. He opened the curtains, and proceeded to watch the people below, scattering about, fighting (already), and group together. He watched for roughly half an hour, when he realized that he had a question for the Art Teacher. He exited his room, and made his way to the roof, hoping that the teacher would be there.

Upon arrival, he could see the man sitting down, doing what looked to Shin like thinking. Shin approached him, calmly, and sat down beside him.

"Yes?" The art teacher spoke clearly.

Shin replied, "That was you, wasn't it? Earlier, roughly half an hour ago? That was amazing. You scared everyone half to death."

The teacher chuckled to himself, "Heh, did I now? Well, school is in session. They should all be getting ready, yourself included, Shin."

"That well known, am I?"

"Shin Trael, Senior, rooming with Tabris Gear. Current fighting record: 0/0. Impressive, three years here, and not one fight."

"I have Tabris fight my fights for me, if I can't solve them peacefully enough. Funny, how the great Trevor Anthony would notice these things. "

At that, the art teacher let out a rather loud laugh. "Ha! A pacifist at a fighting school! Now I've seen it all. Well, at least you control an element, right?"

"Yes, yes I do."

"Well, what is it? The only one on your record is wind. Others were listed as possibilities, but I'd like to know the truth."

"You'll have to wait and see then, won't you?"

"Not if you continue with your current record."

"I'll get in at least one fight this year, and I won't lose."

"That confident? I'm surprised."

Shin stood up, dusted himself off, and made his way to the door back down to the fourth floor. He turned around, said, "Rainbows are beautiful, don't you think?" and made his way back to the lounge area in front of his room.

Metaru had been the first into his home room class and stares out a window. He watches as students of diffrent classes wander around either trying to get to class, find old friends, get into a fight, or they were new students trying to get to the freshmen orientation. For a brief moment Metaru smiles remembering his first day here however those days are gone. Over the years he has learned to be a strong fighter you must hide your emotions. It seems more and more the only emotion he ever feels is loneliness.

He sighs turning his attention to the front of the class. Only a few others had arrived but they only did so to have more to talk to each other. Friends who had been friends since the beginning of the year. Metaru closes his eyes remember how a number of fights had caused him to lose friends. Maybe it was because he didn't know when to hold back. He would always give it all he has usually bringing weak fighters to near death. The more he fought the more people avoided him and now no one wants to fight him unless they wish to make a repetition for themselves or are on some sort of vendetta. Metaru never understood those reasons, its not like he's the best fighter in the school or anything. In reality he lost just as many fights as he won, but still people seem to have a grudge on him. Though it doesn't really matter, not to him, not anymore. Before his second year ended he accepted the fact that people will always treat him like that. Besides he only has two more years of this left, the two most important years. He would have to train hard this year not just so he can past the Sykiks Examines next year but he also has plans to entering the Royal Bouts. So this year as he sees it he doesn't care how many challenge to fight him, he will gladly except, it will allow him to hone his skills.

Metaru sighs again pulling out writing material. However acception challenges will not be enough, he would also need to train his body and mind. He still aims to perfect his Sykiks power. He begins writing down ways to train himself after school hours; Lunch, run laps around the campus. After school hours, visit local junkyard to practice Sykiks control. Dinner, rest for an hour then practice martial arts. Weekend, rest all day. Fairly simple plan however Metaru is unsure if it'll still be enough. He did leave in enough time for rest but still, it'll be hard to qualify for the bouts alone.

He sighs to himself and notices the class has filled up a little. Most the faces he reconizes from last year but still there are a few students shuffled in from other homerooms. Metaru then sees an old friend and for another brief moment smiles till he reliezes that they have become distant since their last fight. Funny thing is, he doesn't know why, not anymore. It wasn't like the other times, no one was holding back then. But after the fight, they just stop talking. Metaru sighs believing it might have been his fault. Before he had lost every friendship he had in a fight maybe that time he drifted away by a sort of reaction, or maybe it was something else.

X-Legend
Soft, silky yellow rose petals tumbled and floated about the bright, light-coloured room full of great, tall glass windows that looked out onto the balcony of peachy-hued marble and stone. Smooth blue carpets and pearl green curtains and pink cushions all looked in harmony around the white beech wood furniture. The gentle breeze that stirred the flowers in their vases and caused petals to be lifted up and drifted about came from the open door that led out onto the balcony, as high as the tall, arched ceiling. Paintings of wonderful creatures hung on the walls:

The furniture was all crafted with great skill, most of which was crafted by Junius himself. Many small tables were scattered about, supporting a candle, or a book, or a pot of flowers. An enormous wardrobe stood in one corner, a bed laid with pale yellow coverlets in another, and a small white tea table with two matching chairs with feathered pillows in the middle.

Running his hands through his long, dark hair, and beating off several black flies, Junius stood and surveyed his work anew. For the past two weeks he’d been shuffling the broken chunks of wood back and forth, creating some magnificance of work. Now he’d begun to reveal a small dark hollow nestled further in towards the center of the wood. It was big enough for a dog to enter now. A little more work, and he’d be able to fit through. Still, he’d need to test the sturdiness to make sure there was no danger of a cave-in.

The Dorm stood empty and alone on the windswept schoolyard. The sun was taking its last fading glimpse over the horizon, and the cold would soon set in. The old room was a simple construct. A front archway led to a small, shag-carpeted living room with a flickering TV-set and a fancy recliner. Straight ahead was the kitchen, with a sparse assortment of dishes cluttering the counter, a refrigerator and a shining sink completing the picture. To the right of the entrance was short hall that led to a mediocre bathroom and an impressive bedroom, which was furnished with a respectable bed and an old trunk which contained all the worldly possessions of Junius. Regardless, he planned to invest in a common pet with or without permission from the higher-ups. Fortunately, most of his money was preserved as he was a fairly well constructer, with quite a bit of patience to his masterpieces. With all the possibilities, Junius still planned time to improve on his elemental skills which were embedded within him but without rushing simply because, here at Fight High, It felt like home.

----Day 1----17:47
“What in the world is wrong with this school, just when I’m starting to like it, all sorts of crap start to happen…” remarked Kai unpleasantly as he continued to tidy his room.

Kai got irritated with the recent commotions about some annoying sound waves, some case about a sophomore on fire who apparently disappeared immediately after a flash of blinding light.

“Ah forget them, I’m just gonna check out my timetable, perhaps I may find out something of my interest.” remarked Kai harshly as he took out the timetable sheet from his sling back.

Kai began glancing through the timetable sheet-

Kai’s brownish pupils grew larger as he paused at one subject, “History??? Damn you father, that is a torturing subject that one could ever take. I will have to memorize freaking long essays and passages in order to answer a history question, not to mention there will be nerds surely without a doubt who will be talking endlessly.” moaned the blue-haired freshman as he continued to curse and swear under his breath. The mere thought of nerds really disgusted him and made him recall his private tutor during his training days who was a nerd that wore thick pair of goofy spectacles and lectured him endlessly for at least three hours straight per subject.

“At least I have this room solely for myself, no nerds or whatsoever, this is sure a bliss.” he grinned cockily to himself sounding relieved.

“Hmmm… I guess I would just take two sports clubs and one miscellaneous club into my caliber. I need some time to train myself during the week days. I don’t want to have any ring-rust especially if I am intending to join the Real Bout.” he muttered to himself softly after browsing through his timetable twice.

“Now that I am settled with all these stuff, I guess I will just head for homeroom.”

--------------During Homeroom-------------19:00

“Yo! What’s your name?” asked a freshman beside him. Kai just plainly ignored him, he didn’t really like to talk especially to strangers.

“Ers… Ok, have it your way then.” The freshman was about to turn his head back to the front when Kai asked him openly about what ‘Hentai’ was as it had been pondering in his mind ever since he saw the poster.

“…You can’t be serious are you?” replied the misbelieved freshman.

“Just tell me straight, I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Well…let’s just say it’s every man’s fantasy desire.” answered the freshman as he chuckled to himself.

“I see… you have my thanks.” Kai thought he understood but he totally misinterpreted the idea wrongly.

-----After Dinner-----19:49

"Boy, the food is sure great here...Ah..." stretched the blue-haired as he lazed around his dorm room.

He laid down on the bed wondering what clubs he should join and what lies ahead of his journey through his Fight High life.

He exited the counselor's office and began heading in the direction of his dorm room. An attractive woman for sure, but she can be a bitch. He sighed, he had been here little more than an hour and had already been in two fights and had a nice lengthy discussion with the counselor. Now he had two personal tutors, her to control his so called element, and Kory to help him learn how to fight. Mom, dad, why did you send me to this god-forsaken place. I don't even like to fight, I don't want to fight. He shook his head, no point in worrying about that anymore, like the counselor said, he should focus on trying to make his stay here better for himself. I suppose that means I'll have to try and accomplish something.

He looked down at his schedule: (before lunch/after lunch)

Monday- Element Basics/Element Basics
Tuesday- Mathematics/English
Wednesday- Adopting a 2nd element/Adopting a 2nd element
Thursday- World History/Music
Friday- Element Study- Lightning/Element Study- Lightning

Music, that's the only worthwhile classs on the list, but it will probably be music that I don't even enjoy. He sighed again, and then looked up, there wasn't very many students around, but there were plenty of doors. Must be the dorm area, let's see, ah here it is. He looked at the number on the door. 120, he thought about it a bit and chuckled, thought about it being a 4 and wished he had some of that now. He entered the room and nearly tripped over a box, steadying himself he looked down. There were boxes with his name on them, how did these get here? I only brought a few extra clothes. He then spied an envelope on top of one of the boxes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello son,
We figured that since you will be staying at that school for the remainder of the year that you would like your stuff. We hope you have fun there. We do not have much time, and we apologize for such a short letter but we have to get busy moving ourselves, the rent here has become too high. We will send you another letter once we get settled down.
Love Mom and Dad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He tossed the letter on the dresser by the window then began unpacking his boxes. Posters, music cds, his stereo, and other miscellaneous belongings, and another envelope. He opened it and found a card, and another small note. It stated that this card contained 1,000 dollars U.S. It was a card for a bank account that could be accessed worldwide. He shook his head, mom, dad, you shouldn't have. He put the card and pin number in his wallet and began unpacking his stuff.

First thing he did was place the stereo up on the dresser on his side, and put in a few CDs Punk sounds good right now. Bad Religion: Empire Strikes First, Rise Against: Siren Songs of the Counter Culture, Strike Anywhere: Exit English, Pennywise: Land of the Free, and Anti-Flag: Underground Network. Placing the player on random he turned it up to where the music was blaring. Then walking over he shut the door and finished upacking. Putting posters up along his side of the room, mostly posters of bands or artists, such as Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Sublime, Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, and Pennywise. He found some more clothes in one of the boxes and put them in the dresser on the left side of the room, along with the clothes from his backpack. He placed his discman inside his pack and set that next to his bed. Then he folded up all the boxes and put them in the closet.

After he finally finished unpacking he layed down on his bed and just listened to the music, Pennywise: My God was on, that was one of his favourites. He couldn't help but wondering who would be his roomate, as there was another bed on the other side of the room, and another dresser. No one was there though, and no belongings were in the dresser. He shrugged and closed his eyes.

(OOC: If anyone wants to be a roomate with Dakkar then feel free to have their character come to room 120.)

Suddenly, as Crimson was walking down the hallway, a rather gurthy sohpomore boy ran right into him.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" The boy yelled angrily.
"Hmph." Crim replied, and started to walk on.
"Hey where do you think you're going? We're gonna fight now if you don't apologize!"
Turning around, Crimson tilted his head up, looking at the boy from under his hat. "I don't think so." he said, calm and icy, as usual.
"Oh ya? You're going to get it." Suddenly, the fat kid hurled a fireball at him. Knocking it away, Crim motioned for a boy behind him. "Go get a teacher to sanction this. Fighting this moron will already be a big enough waste of my time. I'd rather not spend more in the office."
"WHAT WAS THAT?!?!" The kid screamed as the boy ran off to get a teacher. "Oh I'm gonna teach you a lesson."
"Hmph." As the sophomore threw a flaming punch, Crimson easily slipped to the side, dodging the attack. The buy threw a few more punches, all of which were easily avoided. The boy now began to get angry, as people were chuckling at him. Just as the teacher arrived, the boy stopped for a moment. "Hey Mr. Luden, watch as I kick this kids ass!"
Just then Crimson slipped into the wall, and reapeared next to the boy after moving along the wall as a shadow. "Ready?" The boy turned around and threw another fire punch, but this time, Crim grabbed his arm. "I don't think so." He said, spinning the boy, sending him triwling to the floor. Getting up, he angrily ruched Crim. Rolling right over the sophomore boys back, he elbow jabbed him in the side.
"OW. You're gonna pay for that!" Stepping back, he summoned up a huge fireball. Launching it at Crim, it hit, as he did not want anyone else around to get struck by it. As the fireball burned against his armlet, luckily flame resistant, Crimson used his other arm to summon up a shadow orb. Striking the fire ball with the orb, it dispersed, singing the walls. Observing his now burnt arm, he looked to the chubby one.
"I'm going to end this now." Flying at the boy, he sruck him with an uppercut, then swung around, knocking the feet from under him. As the fat kid fell to the ground. he hit his head, out cold.
"Wow, you're already making a name for yourself, Crimson." Mr. Luden said.
"I guess you know all of your students, Mister Luden."
"You're in my advanced guitar class, correct?"
"Correct. Now if you'll excuse me." Crimson said, walking away.

Stepping onto the roof, he looked about. Upon another building, he saw a boy talking to one of the teahcers. Taking his seat, Crim looked his schedule over.

Monday - Tech II , Body Arts, English III, Science II, Trigonometry, Elemental Arts : Shadow, Advanced Guitar.
Tuesday - Martial Arts, Element arts : Light, Weapon fighting : Traditional Asian, Martial Arts, Element Arts : Light.
Wednesday - The same as Monday
Thursday - Martial Arts, Element Arts : Shadow, Weapon Fighting : Medieval, Martial Arts, Element Arts : Shadow
Friday - Same as Monday and Wednesday.

Not bad for a freshemen. He thought to himself. It's nice to be ahead of the game. By Senior Year I won't have any classed but the ones I wish for.

With that, he sat down to watch the sunset from the rooftop. Tomorrow he would start his first classes.

((OOC: Well, more than last time. I'll keep working on it. *Sigh*.))

A crowd of students lined to each side of the hallway. Most of the students were females, and there attention all aimed at the stairs reaching to their floor, the 3rd floor hallway, even rose-colored carpets lined a path to his first period class.

This was the way Oaska had it in junior high. Here nobody knew his name. Oaska searched the hall of his new high school, luggage rolling on the ground in one hand, dorm room number in the other. It was a lonely and humbling experience. He got nothing more then the occasional glance from a lonely female student. Oaska was remembering the good old days where he was a king in his junior high. Looks and brains gave him a serious advantage over most students there. He was so smart they decided to even skip him above ninth grade. Basking in his glory Oaska remembered how woman fell at his feet, and on Valentines Day, how he had received over 30 separate offerings of chocolate. The experience wasn’t fully positive. Oaska was very ashamed how he wasted his power in authority at his old school. He bullied most and treated others like dirt. Resolved, now to change this and to become a Virtuous force. Oaska proclaimed his Pact with speech, so that he could not break goal without breaking his word.

“ I will dedicate my high school years to helping the ugly, and unintelligent.”

“WOW”
The words came from a girlish voice. Oaska turned around to see who said that. He caught the view of three lovely ladies standing at the exit of one of the classrooms. Oaska blushed, embarrassed of the girls hearing his speech. One of the three girls melted at the site of his reddened cheeks, crumbling to the floor in pure ecstasy. Out from behind her a more assertive young lady climbed over the fallen to meet the eyes of this young man. Looking strait into his eyes. She conveyed the three were astonished how white a soul he was.

“ We three the of the Fight high Judo club Will from this day on do our best to advance Your efforts In helping the disadvantaged. ”

Her eyes glew almost as bright as Oaskas. It looks like this school wouldn’t be that much different Oaska thought. That girl went on talking, but Oaska was lossed in his own thoughts. This wouldn’t be that bad after all. Girls were already after him. She does talk a lot though. The only thing she said that I care about is that the three are sisters; so dating all of them may be out of the question. There were other girls in the sea. High school girls did look a lot better then junior high ones, especially this one. Her body is fit and of perfect proportion. The long flowing black hair would make other guys drool. Oaska caught himself. The opposite side is using their provocativeness on me, the war continues. I wont fall for their Traps.

Oh my goodness this bitch is still talking.

“I’m sorry ladies. I must be going now”

Oaska turned from the three to continue down the hall in search of his room. He spent way too much time idling by with those women. He still had to go back down and retrieve the rest of his stuff, plus locate all of his classes. Oaska continued on down the hall for minutes, still not finding the room he was assigned to. Wait maybe I passed it. The thought crossed his mind. Turning back in order to get a view of the number of the last room, he saw them, the three girls following closely behind him. One with a smirk the next with a huge cheesy smile and the last with the worst uninterested face he had ever encountered. He knew now that this was going to be a very long long school year.

-----After Wind Training-----(Day2-5:05pm)
“…Damn the lesson today, ice-breaking sessions, bah. I don’t know why the hack those girls kept giggling as though there’s no tomorrow. One guy even tried to look cool by creating a mini-typhoon but it got backfired instead by spinning him 10 feet off the ground. Such a sad case for him.” Kai had just ended his Wind Training lessons a moment ago. He was pretty much terrified about the insane giggling by those cute and innocent girls during his lesson.

“Phew…I thought I was going to lose my breath for sure. Girls are such a mystery, maybe I should dig more information about them if I ever want to survive in this school. But first, I might as well look at all the sports clubs now…”Kai sighed once again before he left to look at the clubs.

-----Some Time Later----- (Day2-6:37pm)

“Man am I so~~ annoyed, those girls really gave me such an uneasy feeling…Brrr…Oh well, I have joined TF (Tracks&Field) club, CQC (close quarter combat) club…there leaves one more…”He was standing in front of the room 426, some nerds were laughing insanely in front of the closed door, some were even drooling like mad.

“What on earth…? Oh my freaking gosh, what the hell are those guys doing…?”Kai was really stunned by the scene; he really doubted himself about whether he had made the right selection for his third club. Kai stood there quietly, waiting for the door to be opened until one of the nerds approached him.

“Eh…what’s your favourite hentai?” asked the nerd.

“Don’t talk to me,” replied Kai quietly, he didn’t yearn for any unwanted attention especially from nerds.

“Oh... C’mon, don’t be shy… we all know that you are one of us…” laughed the nerdy freshman in a provoking tone as he pat on his back gently.

The thought disgusted him, since when was he a nerd to begin with? He grabbed the nerd by the collar shouting, “I am NOT one of you, you sick demented freaks. DON’T touch me.”

“Oh please~ why deny your existence of life? We are all men---,” The nerd continued to baffle about things that Kai could never understand somehow. The sarcastic tone of the nerd was really taunting him to punch the retarded face of his.

He scouted around for teachers; hoping one would appear to referee a battle for him. Unfortunately Lady Luck was not smiling at him, no teachers were in sight.

“Damn, just leave me alone before I make that nose of yours more disable than it is now.” groaned the blue-haired as he let the collar go unwillingly.

Kai took a few steps back to lean against the stone cold wall, hoping to seek answers of what ‘hentai’ was from the President of the club itself and perhaps some information about renown strong sykiks in the school.

(OOC:I hope this post works, including the timeline.^.^ Anyways, those people who are still in their second days and planning to make your way to join the D&D club that has *hentai*, feel free to interact with my character happy.gif Note:silent-natured and has a grudge against nerds, be warned)

[First Day]

Eridlon grinned again as he imprinted a messy scrawl of words onto the piece of paper, his legs swinging sideways as they lay perpendicular to the bed he was sprawled upon. He turned his head in the direction of the computer, only to find Erudha with his laptop sitting only a few inches in front of it.

“Ne, can I see the blueprin
