Just saw episode 59-60, ah! the betrayal! the deciet, the lies!! Aizen hurting Hinamori! Bastard! Also Tousen under his command! So much his elongated speach to Zaraki about "justice". Wow I've never been drawn into such an anime since Eva or Eureka Seven.

Try being hooked on both Bleach and Eureka Seven at the same time. Rough life.

I'm glad we've finally gotten a look at
Rukia's zanpakuto, Sode no Shirayuki. I'm eagerly waiting for
Ikkaku's Ryūmon Hōzukimaru, though.

Now that you saw Ikkaku's, whaddya think

Goddamnit am SO EXCITED that Bleach is OFF fillers now, and difinitely back to watch it

That and One piece are my current ongoing things....
btw, was Rangiku a little bit more "Full" in ep.115 than in that part of the Manga? or is that just my Imagination...

I really don't think Ikkaku is going to have a problem dispatching of Edorad. It really didn't seem like he would from the start. I'm interested in seeing Grimmjow's zanpakuto myself. The only thing we know of it (which is from the manga) is its release command: grind.

Eldorad... shouldn't that be El Dorado? All the Espada's names are spanish-based, right? *nitpicky about Japanese name translation*
Anyway... Bleach is the only manga I've actually been downloading. Ever. Because it's just so flipping awesome. The next chapter comes out tomorrow morning! *bounces in anticipation*

That's because Episode 72 is a filler. It has only two purposes.
1) Buy time for the manga to get far ahead
2) Make you realize how much better it is to be back in the regular story

wow the episode was short, but I loved it. Ichigo gains his masks powers, Chad is training. Not much that was exciting besides Hinamori shows up again. But i'm wondering, are the Vaizards good guys or bad guys? I mean Shinji was willing to vouch for Ichigo to train him?

Soul, they seem to be like a neutral party at this point in the anime, and manga, not taking side, just out there on their own.
But who knows, they could want to kill shinigami and hollows just the same.

At this point I wouldn't be surprise after the shinigami deal with the Arrancar, they start going after the Vaizards, and vice versa. I mean the Seireitei already tried to eliminate the Quincy and the Bount (anime). So the Shinigami trying to kill Vaizards wouldn't be surprising, or even the Vaizards coming up with a plan to ensure their survival which would involve eliminating all shinigami. Either it's all up left to some major gamble.

125: "Urgent Information! Aizen's Terrific Plot!"
(+Miscellaneous recent stuff.)
<--spoilers-->
To be honest, I was actually a bit more excited when seeing his near-full Hollow form than when he finally fought off his inner Hollow. Haha. But yes, this is quite excellent news.
I'm definitely interested to see the results of Chad's training. It's kinda boring to have strong characters like him in the series, but not fighting much lately.
On a somewhat-related note, I'm really interested to see what becomes of Orihime. In the new OP animation, she seems somewhat isolated from the others (Huh. She probably thinks of it that way, too.), and there's even those scenes of her and Aizen, shown in a similar manner to each other. Makes it seem like something might happen between her and Aizen, or something... Also, in the OP, she's seen wearing what looks kinda like Quincy attire. I'm seriously interested to see what's going on with her in this arc.
While I'm mentioning comrades, I might as well bring up Uryuu, who I'm interested to see more of in the upcoming episodes. Interested to see him regain his powers, and I'm interested to see how he decides to use them.
Also, I'm definitely very glad to see Hinamori again. (Dunno why. I just have some sort of fondness of her, hehe. ^^; ) Her status has always been among my questions at the end of each episode recently, so it's nice to see her up and moving again.
As for whether the Vizard are "good" or "bad," I really couldn't say anything with much certainty. However, they don't seem to have any sort of hostile intentions, as far as I can tell. Though I'm not sure they seem like the type that would want to help fight the Arrancar, either. *shrug* It's something that I'm sure will be revealed within the next few episodes, I'm sure.
Aizen's "true objective" was certainly unexpected. I mean, it makes sense, but I just wasn't thinking there'd be much more to his scheming. I'm intrigued to see how it all unfolds.

Chalryn, I don't think you have to black out everything from an episode that's already aired. XD
Anyway, I take it from your post that you haven't read the manga then. Speaking of that, the fact that there were no Bleach or Naruto chapters last week annoyed me. Both of them ended with very interesting cliffhangers. I hope they come out soon.. should be today?
Anyway, Hinamoris outfit in the Opening looks like the one the Espada wear.
And Aizen's plan, well it makes me think that Ichigo's dad is connected to the royal family, since he got his powers back around the same time when Aizen looked into the key of the king, and he seemed to know all about it. Ichigo's dad might have been one of their guards or something.

May 11 2007, 12:29 PM
Ah... Heh, sorry. ^^;
And yeah, I don't read the manga (yet).
Yeah, I was also thinking that the outfit kind of resembled the Espada attire as well, though from what I could see, it also looked kind of Quincy-esque, I thought.
Hmm. Yeah, that does sound like a good possibility. I'm still wondering about Isshin and what his role in all of this may be. Thinking back now, I'm also a bit curious about why he wanted to hide the fact that he was a shinigami from Ichigo. Considering that, and the apparently great strength in him, Isshin definitely seems to be much more than a typical Captain-class shinigami.

Episode 126
Spoiler (if no one wants to read it yet)
Not much different from the last episode, everyone is training. Whether it be Ichigo trying to perfect is Vaizard powers, Chadtrainging to attain a "Bankai-like" power for himself, to Uryu who gets shot by his father to regain his Quincy powers. The feel of the episode feels pretty much like a filler, so I can't say it was great. Thugh I did like the fact we get hear from Hinamori, who is still under he influence that Aizen is a good guy. Nonetheless it was good seeing her.
P.S. I love Shinji!!! As well as the other Vaizards, they're just so freaking hilarous!

The reason for all these cliffhangers is obviously collective bad karma. Karma is upset at the world for allowing such abominations as Dragon Ball/Z/GT, and Disney on Ice.
Otherwise it's very likely that animators are just being lazy, or are preparing really good episodes for us later. But i'm going with the lazy.

Well I'm probably not going to watch this episode. The fillers started again. =/ I only skimmed through it, but it didn't seem any interesting. And for some reason Ichigo can use his mask infinitely in the fillers, with a few seconds pause here and there when it breaks... He's supposed to be able to use it once and then be unable to use it again for a while. An hour or so. Not a few seconds. What's the point of it breaking if he can just keep putting it on again? Oh and the mask is supposed to be extremely powerful... but in the fillers it doesn't seem that way at all.
I wonder how long this batch of fillers will last. Not overly surprise that another batch of filler episodes about to start, but this one doesn't seem that interesting. I enjoyed watching Matsumoto be a air-head for the majority of that episode. Very enjoyable! I wonder what's next. A episode involving Orihime and Matsumoto teaming up to shop?

I think the only reason as to why fillers would start up again, is that "The Great Battle" Via, aizen killing everything. Was said to take place this winter. Possibly they are trying to get rid of extra time inbetween?

Probably, but they don't have until winter to fill out. They have a month, if I remember correctly. Ichigo will tell his next opponent "Let me show you how much I've changed, in this one month."

No I mean there's one month between when he first aquiered the mask to when he fights
Grimjow again. That's when Ichigo says it, and it's before they enter Heuco Mundo.
So they can only add a month's worth of fillers tops, in-anime time before that battle happens and he says those words.
But it's not impossible to stretch out 30 days, though I don't think the'll keep this on for long. Hopefully just a few episodes.

I thought 128 was a rather entertaining episode. Filler, but amusing all the same. It's usually a great laugh whenever Isshin shows up. A few good laughs in general throughout, I thought.
Outside of that, I'm becoming increasingly interested in Ryūken's character. Uryū's the first of the group to finish his training as well, from what I can tell.

Hmm... Personally, I wouldn't be too sure. The training he just finished was only to get his Quincy powers
back. I'm certain he'll have to do other training afterwards in order to strengthen his abilities. I'm pretty sure his father even pointed out that his weakness beforehand was what ultimately led to the loss of his powers.

I think it's about time we got a general Bleach topic going in this Anime Forum.
Anyway, I've been watching Bleach ever since episode 1 was released months ago and I haven't stop watching the series yet. Call me a fanboy of the series, I could careless. I think this series is awesome. Has a great cast of characters, great plot and cool music. I know many people won't agree with me on the music, but meh, whatever.
For those that haven't seen the series yet. The story is led by Ichigo Kurosaki, who meets a Soul Reaper name Rukia Kuchiki when she appears to save Ichigo's family from a Hollow. For some reason, Ichigo could see her. No normal human should be able to see a Soul Reaper, but Ichigo could, Ichigo was different. I could go on more, but we all know what the story is about. I don't expect people that haven't seen the series to post or view this topic.
Bleach is up to episode 27. I'm about to watch it. I'll give my opinion on 27 after I'm finished watching it.

I still am, but I refuse to talk about fillers now in this topic. It just seems so. . . pointless. All I can say is that the fillers are pretty interesting, only when the Vaizards show up though. Current episodes with the pseudo-Arrancar have been dull as hell.

Indeed. I'm not too thrilled with the fillers myself, since I'd rather see progress in training instead of the focus being solely on the random Arrancar. Well, the pseudo-Arrancar fillers are over. I think I enjoyed 131 as much as I did 128. We never do learn it's name, but I thought it was a proper enough conclusion. Seeing it's zanpakuto was good enough for me.
Judging from the titles of the next few upcoming episodes, more fillers are on the way. Though this time they may be more character-focused, with two involving Ikkaku and Yumichika, respectively. Unless they turn out to be belligerently comical. Kon will be popping up again in the future, and next week's episode seems to be... soccer-oriented. I don't know, I'm not completely bummed out about it. I'm hoping for some more possible background history out of all this. We'll see.

I have to say that even though I skimmed through this episode in about 1 minute I noticed how very lazy the animation was. There should be some sort of quality check on these things rather than studios raking in money on sub par quality garbage. More fillers on the way, I'm not looking forward to that so I'll just be content with the manga chapters for now. Speaking of which, the next Bleach chapter should be out soon.
