Well as you know BoF is known for many things, but one of them is in all five of them. And thats race. In every BoF theres ALWAYS more than one race, which is one of the things that actually gives BoF a name, and makes the game more interesting by having you commune with them. So which do you like?

Mine , personally, is the Woren (obviously ) race. I think the woren is the best , becuase i mean c'mon is there any BoF that they werent the only race that was in your party, ALWAYS? In BoF II, Katt was the strongest person in the entire game ( i think even stronger than rand). In BoF III, Rei was the fastest person in the game ( and the series for that matter) and had the incredible were-tiger form . In BoF IV, Cray was the coolest (not including fou-lu ) and one of the strongest.

pss: I didnt include ershin cuz it really wasnt a "living" being it was just affected by Deis's magic

I would be of the dog people--Bo and Bow were two of my favorite characters in the old BoF's. Next would be the Snake people. I thought Bleu was friggin' awesome.

I would have to pick Dragons, they are quite cool somehow =D Worens are sexy...for females like Katt =D but not an option for me ^^;; It's quite interesting to be able to transform into a Dragon especially if it matches your personality though =D (Next to non-elemental, lightning and ice would be my next favorite =3)

LoL. I'd wanna be somethin' cool like Patty/Ryu. Dragon style. If not, something on terms with Karn. Even if he is human. He can still change and merge with others. That's like, cool.. =DD Tiger, from Breath of Fire 2 was pretty coo, too. I know, I'm picky. Sue me. xP

Actually Val I'm not sure if Karn was human, can you think of any other human in the game(or the series for that matter) that had cool powers? I guess there was a few (that weren't playable) that knew magic or somthing but for the most part they were mainly just workers, hence why they suck. So maybe Karn is an alien.

I personally picked 'guardian' aka griffin. Garr was the man...and better Garr was very similar to how I am. (Blindly following God!) I have to say that I would normally pick dragon but ... The Guardians beat the crap out of the dragons (even though they probably would have gotten rocked had the dragons actually fought back).

they look cool and I like Ryu and Deis, and in general, I like dragons and snakes ^^;

I would go for either Brood or Guardian.

Be cool to transform into those Warrior Dragons since first saw it's power, I loved that class since.

Guardians for a second choice for that amazing power they wield. Even though they're blind followers, but Garr set a perfect example for coolness.

basically i think the coolest race are the worens... specially rei because he can really transform in its true form.....unlike the others like cray and kat....

I have to be of the Dragon clan (Light clan if during the first game).

But, I have to point out a few things for the list (WARNING - SPOILERS)


Bo (from BoF 1) is a fox

Bleu/Deis is the sister of the goddess, Tyr/Myria, who is the final boss of 1 & 3, and I have never seen another snake-person, so I don't think that's a valid race

Pecoros was actually just a mutant plant, and not one of the grass people like Spar. I believe Spar's race was actually related to the wisdom trees, too. Can't remember for sure on that one, though.

And, Karn is human, but his fusing magic is a family secret.

Karn isn't actually a human. His race was a special one which only made it in the Japanese Bof because he was silver, but people would have mistaken it for black and it was racist or something like thay, so they simplified it for us simple-minded Americans. I'd want to be Karn's race, because then I'd just fusion will my friends all day long for fun, just to see what kind of stuff we could turn into.

Yup, Karn, or Danc, was of the Night-clan, a race that was able to fuse with others. And in my opinion he was the coolest guy in the first game.

No, he is not. He is a wolf. And Karn wasn´t human either.

What about Ershin? Obviously the coolest in BoF4.

I'd have to be a dragon. I can't think of anything cooler. Imagine having all that power to use either for the good of the world or to rule the world. Next best would be a Worren.... if you could turn into a weretiger that is. :1

I'd wanna be a Dragon. Or more specifically, and Endless. Live fore hundreds of years, nearly limitless power, I think I would enjoy that. Even if there is a slight catch to being summoned. But if they screw up the summon, then you're set.

I want the wings damnit! I would have voted dog, because Scias is my favourite character but I just didn't like bow from BOFII. I have no idea what race Ershin was... technically Ershin is just energy I guess left over from Dias... I'm not too sure, I'll have to play that part again.

Ershin is a walking talking suit of armor. hard to make a race out of it.

Dragon...
Not only are the Dragons (Brood) powerful, but the good side, the Light Dragons (Brood), are also fairly gentle, reserved individuals who would rather give up their powers than use them for ill purposes.

As for what kind of dragon I'd be, I'd probably be associated with the wind...especially if my only form was the Warrior-type you see in BoF3. I'd see Wind Dragons as the speediest of attackers. Not the most powerful, mind you, but the quickest.


As for Ershin...well...she was...kind of a dragon. Not completely, though.

Bleu was my favourite character out of all the BoF games and I love the idea of of controling destructive magic but I have to go with Wyndian. I've always thought of them as the coolest race. I have no idea why though. Maybe it's just the wings
