Yes, what is your favourite Wild Arms game?
Mine was the first. In my opinion, that was the best game I EVER played.
ValhartX
Wild Arms 2. =P I love everything about this game.
It's perfect. Music. Characters. The battle. Puzzles. Everything I could want in an RPG. ^.^p It took me a month to beat too. =D Excellent game. I hope Media Vision remakes it. People who missed it.. buy it. Buy it bow!

WA2, definitely. a nice assortment of characters, great music, the perfect Force system, lots of stuff to do... i've played that game a good couple dozen times.
only down-side is the story takes an obscure detour at the end.
Hel
WA2, nice events, nice ending, good opening and ending song, interesting characters. the only thing i dont like about this game is the english dialogue
Athrun
Wild Arms 1.
The charactes, story and everything was great. I think this game had the best music out of all three.
But the small silly things like getting married to the captain of the boat to hitch a ride (I think?) were fun too. =p

I'm looking forward to playing the remake. It's been so long.
Swordsman
wild arms 1 is my fav wild arms game.. favourite character rudy, the only character in the game that can use arms..
Rudy06
Other than Jane...but she isn't playable in 1.

For now, I have to say 1. I haven't played Alter Code: F and I have no idea how it will compare until then.

But about Wild Arms 1...It has Rudy, first and foremost. It has the most utilized, and coolest, group of villians. Boomerang and Zed...need I say more? Plenty of plot twists here and there. Music is awesome. One reason I am looking forward to Alter Code is to hear better versions of the original WA music. And finally...did I say Rudy?

Swordsman, Spam! =o
Watch out for it. biggrin.gif
WA Code F is being released soon. Theres a few topics about its release in this forum do a search!.

As for my favorite Wild Arms? Wild Arms 2, definitely. That game kicked so much acres of ass and remains my favorite RPG to date.
Although, it seems that WA4 is conforming to the normality of RPG's and losing its original touch that made us all like the WA games to begin with...hrm *shrug*

But this game has some awesome characters, a great storyline (although near the end the english translation was so god awful...) and remains one of the better turned-based RPG's I've ever played.

Wild Arms 3 is my favorite game. Yep, while everyone else likes Wild Arms 1 and 2, I'm a fan of Wild Arms 3. I loved the cast of characters that was presented in Wild Arms. Janus was total badass, but got removed from the game far too early and the rest of the villians were awesome, expect that horrible final boss that inserted herself into the plot out of nowhere. Great OST and great battle system. I loved everything about Wild Arms 3. Cel Shading was so awesome in this game.

Why is Wild Arms: Alter Code F on the list? Unless you live in Japan or imported it, I don't think most people have played the game.

To me WA2 was the best it had the best combat style, best music, coolest characters, best looking summons, brainteasing puzzles, and the secret character the maravel.it was the best rpg i played....actually the second best but still cool.

>_> Let's just say I screwed up. Leave it at that.

Yup... I completely agree with Rudy06 over there.

And, I wasn't really interested in WA2... it was... eh... horrible.

The first. It was the first RPG I ever played, and got me addicted to the genre. I still play it at least twice a year.

Wild ARMS 2, period

the best music, intro, characters and story... everything is perfect except the incestous relationship between irving and his sister @_@

The best track: battle vs toka and ge
best character: ashley winchester
most awesome fight: vinsfeld radamanthus

overall: just plain perfect! ok, the graphics could have been better

Wild Arms 1 is by far thebest of the series. While it may be lacking in the visual department due to when it was made it has one of the best story lines. You also were better able to relate to the 3 characters because they went into such depth as to what drives them. It made me actually care about the characters and what happens to them. Something which unfortunately alot of newer RPGs don't have.

Between 1 and 2 it's really close but I have to say 2nd IGNITION. The one thing that tiopped the balances was teh philosophy in WA2. I loved the fact that in order to go in depth with the "what it means to be a hero" theme each character was a sterotype hero that was undefined: Ashley, classic normal person turned hero most open for developmetn, hence main role. Brad, almost super hero/legendary kind of hero, the one everyone turns to. Tim, the martyr! I loved that fact that they threw him in as the sacrifical hero. Kanon, the kind of brooding batman-ish hero, doing what she thinks is right no matter what anyone says. Mrivel, the hard to defin thingy, she really only fought because she need Filgaia alive for herself. And lilka I wasn't fond of but she was a tribute to the magical girl anime genere.
