But on topic. I'm not sure. It depends. Every two or three years a new Breath of Fire title is released. System doesn't matter to Capcom. So, it could even appear on the Xbox 360. =p Jus' keep hopin' it'll be announced for the PS3 an not a handheld.. Cause that is where I think it might be going..

I doubt we will see another Breath of Fire game on PS2. Capcom, like many other, believed that Breath of Fire V was a failure. It's all about sales and Breath of Fire V wasn't sold that well in America or Japan. So, the demand for another Breath of Fire game went down and we might not even get one for the PS2, but I won't give my hope that another Breath of Fire game will be announced for the PS3.

I was expecting Capcom to come out of left field and announce Breath of Fire VI during this year E3, but they didn't. At least we still know there is some interest in the series continue since they're porting Breath of Fire III to PSP. At least we know Capcom is still keeping the series around.
