Mkay for those who have played DQ or are playing through DQ, few things really strike a nerve like the company Biocorp, They irritate me more than Bosch does, Just because of what they do to Nina and why they made her... just to basically kill her off =\.

Even worse in my opinion are the rangers who gas the Low D sector, The rangers? aren't they meant to be helping the people not killing them =\.

Oj and let's not forget Captain Zeno, =\ Although I'm cofised as how Bosch knew exactly what the cargo was (Nina) I thought he was just told "KDestroy it, whatever it looks like". I mean I never got the impression that Bosch had the balls to kill anyoine. =\

Man seems like everyone in DQ is as backstabbing as Bosch =\.

You'll see more SOL scenes with Bosh and Captain Zero later, that might explain a bit more.
But the reason I dislike Bosh actions more than the others, is that the other people you mentioned were not personally involved in teh situation. They just carried out their job, even if it was wrong.
While Bosh had no problem doing so, even at the expense of his friends life.

Not true, that Doctor knew what he was doing when he created Nina, He created her to die, he could have put the filter/lung system on another genic =\. And those three gas mask rangers, when they speak too you they told you "We have no orders yet but we FIGURED after hearing Bosch make his report about you, We'd take you in ourselves"

When asked abiout the gas they respond

"It's gas we use to kill genics, works well on Low Ds too"

Theme of Dragon Quarter is survival. You do what you must to survive and make your life as comfortable as it can be. Following the orders of the Regents is the best means of survival in that depressing enviroment. Opposing the Regents wouldn't bold well for anyone, so you're with them, where you can enjoy life as best you can in the world or against them, where they'll make everyone's life even more terrible than it already is.

It's poor enviroment all those people live in. Not surprising most of them turned into people just looking out for themselves and show no concern for other people beside themselves. Dragon Quarter has a dark theme compare to the older Breath of Fire games. Which makes this game stand out so much for the other games of the series.
