I haven't even bothered to play this yet, but the simple fact that it's free to play online generated enough interest for me to make a topic about it. Has anyone else played this thing?

Think of it as a third person, shooting and slashing multiplayer deathmatching type game... It's free, so check it out. I'm gonna be playing it here soon.

I just tried it out sometime yesterday and yeah it was a bit fast paced and fun. Although it still needs some fixing especially the lag issues like how long it takes to kill someone who is lagging badly or that this guy just can't be killed even when there are already 4 guys slashing his guts. <.<;;


Oh well its always like this in BETA versions. ;-;

There's some terrible lag times, and I also hate that when someone is lagging terribly that they take forever to kill!

However, there's easy ways to avoid the server lag... Join the 3rd or 4th server, most of the time I have little or no lag issues in there because everyone is crowding on the first two servers.

It's just a beta though like you said, however this game definitely isn't good enough for them to charge for.

I'd like to add that I have a godmode, infinite level and infinite money hack through my friends trainer he created for the game.

I can also fly and defy gravity... Lol... People get so upset when you hack in that game.

For some reason i downloaded this game and it wouldn't let me play.

You could probably tell us some more info whether an error pops up or if you have the old Korean launcher perhaps, which I doubt ^^;;, but my point is give us some more details about how it wouldn't let you play... you could try directly ask for help at their forums.

Did you remember to register a name on the gunz website?

Like when i say start game after the launcher it shows this little box in a different kind of langauge or something.

Like I said above, and mentioned in chat ( this is for anyone else who has questions ) you do need to register a name on the GunZ website. The link can be found on the main website, in the top right corner of the page. Create a new name, and enter it into the little box that comes up when you start GunZ.

I recommend you pick server 3 or 4 when you play as well, they're generally not as busy.

Sounds very interesting actually, I would play it if I wasn't on this crappy dial-up connection.

Just to bump this one up about Gunz's update. ^^ I hope that the quest mode will be open soon, and also I'm not sure whether in the next update hacks would still be usable. =/ Damn! to think I just started using only the multi gunz... ;-; Although I do hope they get rid of the Godmode and the other hacks. =p I really hate the speed one. <.<;;

Lol... I love all the hacks in the game.

Even though there will be an update, more than likely it wont be too difficult to create hacks for the game. The coders who designed this one really aren't the best in the world, so it wont be too hard to get hacks injected into the game.

As for the sword/speed hack... It's lovely.

LOL I keep getting owned by the speed one. Anyway it seems that after the update the only ones affected are those that had to with MRS file editing, Godmode and some other stuff, and the multi gunz hack. <.<;; Bah! I heard the fecking speed hack is still there, I really dont want to use it...must resist not to use it. =.=;;


I just dont want that Godmode. <.<;; All other hacks is fine with me, those speed hackers can still be killed. =) Its when their speedy and takes only 1 dmg is what I feel that is just plain wrong.

I played it the first day it came out. Everyone knew each other and we all had fun for a few days. Then came the first patch and I haven't been able to log in since =D. My friend was able to and he says laggers run rampant and the game went to hell.

I didn't bother to read all of your posts but I've been playing this game for quite some time and I am lvl 20 have my own clan and frequent server 4...

Well, this game was fun at first when it first came out for international. Then the update came with the 2 other servers and it was all good. Finally, I ran into some hackers and hell broke loose along with the other updates that I didn't bother downloading.

I pretty much quit because of hackers and some other things; but mainly hackers. I ran into some guy (forgot his name) who was lvl 99 and I was lvl 24. I killed him and he became piss and said "Want to see what happens to someone who kills me without permission?"

He then killed me 5 times; had me commit suicide (since it said I defeated myself).

After that I log and quit the game. I show other hacks, but that pretty much did it for me. Game was fun, but too bad about all these hackers.

You are aware that hackers are bound to be found in open beta games. Anyway about that guy, lv.99 or whatever he was, I'm guessing his character is already nude at the moment and without a single bounty and a single weapon. ^^;; I think Maiet is looking closely at characters that are through have lv.30+. x_x;; But then again the packets are.....

The lvll 99 I saw was named Vierz

Anyway I'm through with this game. Sonic, the game is a action shooter against other players. It is so annoying to fight ppl that are able to fly, not die and can hack you and kill you at will without touching you.

I just don't see a point in me playing it if I can not kill people. Even a couple of my friends are talking about hacking it.

There's plenty of level 99's... It took my friend all of 10 minutes to get his character to that level, as well as have infinite gold.

How it works is you load a bot with the program, play a team game, and be on the same teams... Give the bot a command, and you get kill after kill without even having to do anything. It works for both EXP and gold, or one or the other.

It's brilliant stuff really... I love my zero grav hack most of all. =D

PS... Val, can't ask for hacks. The only ones I know about are all private.
