Well like the title states. Mine would be those birds from Wind Waker and the laser eyes. Also those rats that if you gave them bait at their house they'dsell you rare stuff. Above all however have been the Armos in Wind Waker. When you sliced their emerald on the back and started jumping spining around.

Hmmm, I can't say I like much enemies in Zelda games. I'm horrible at fighting in the 3D Zeldas, I run past the enemies 70% of the time ^^ . So the enemies I like the most are from an older Zelda game, those being all the different types of soldiers in A Link to the Past: the ones with a sword, bow, morningstar and spear: I like fighting all of those. Especially the ones with a sword, you can actually have your sword clashing with the enemy's. Fun ^^ .

One of my favorite enemies from the Zelda series is the Wolfos from Orcania of Time, especially the white wolfos. Unlike the simple enemies, you can't just swing your sword at them, they block with their claws and you have to find an opening or strike them from behind. The White Wolfos aren't as hard as the regular, but they're still pretty.

RPGplaya, i'm pretty sure the White Wolfos are harder then the normal Wolfos. You encouter a normal Wolfos the first time you go to see Saria as young link, at the gate of the Sacred Meddow.
You don't fight the White Wolfos untill you reach the Ice Cavern, as adult Link.
Anyway, probably the Stalfos, from OoT and MM. I enjoy a good fight with them, probably the only enemy in the 3D Zelda's that actually fight back...As it where. You can enjoy a good battle with them, they regurlary use thier shield, and if you dive at them carelessly, they can catch you off guard.
It was good fighting a pack of these on MM, but, when you lock onto an enemy, the others kinda stay outta the way... It should be a massive pile up, ending with Link spin attack and owning them all. XD

Hm. Dunno about an single absolute favorite... A lot of the enemies i the Zelda series were neat. In Ocarina of Time, I did enjoy the battles with Ganondorf and Ganon. Was fun volleying that ball back and forth with Ganondorf, and was humorous fighting Ganon, rolling between his legs and smashing the crap out of his tail. I also really liked the big bull thing in Majora's Mask (I forget its name); the one which you chase after as Goron Link, rolling around for most of the fight. That one was fun, I remember.
Edit: Ack, sorry. Guess those're bosses. Eh... Can't think of any of the normal enemies I particulary liked, though. Sorry again. ><

the octorocks (i think thats what they were called at least) from the first zelda are also just one of the most memerable zelda enemys for me. i just remember killing them by the hundreds when i was a kid.

I've always been a fan of fighting the Wolfos. I actually panicked when I first saw them, mainly because I didn't know you had to hit them in their back to kill them. xD
It was such a different experience and just a lot of fun to fight them. The White Wolfos reminded me of my dog. However, it did get kind of annoying when they would circle around you instead of try to attack you. They always did that to me!
Another enemy that was fun to fight against had to be the Lizardfos/Dinofos. They weren't as hard to hit compared to the Stalfos, but they were very entertaining to fight against. If only they weren't so easy, or they would've shown up more in the game. Hey...there wasn't any difference between the two other than appearance, right? o.o
The Gerudo girls or the Pirate chicks were just awesome to fight. They needed to put more of them in the game, that was just awesome when I first saw them. They also jumped around everywhere, it was fun to watch them. Only their jumping attack really hurts, they knock poor Link out at the Gerudo Fortress. I'm not so sure about the Pirate's Hideout ladies, I think they just killed you.
Last, but certainly not least...In my opinion, the best enemy has to be the Iron Knuckle. *_* They were so shiny, but they had those two stages that really get the adrenaline going. At first, they're so slow. I start yelling at my screen for them to start moving faster so I can get rid of him fast. Once you knock off some of his armor, goodness! That surprised me the first time when he started running after me. The best one had to be in the Spirit Temple, the Nabooru Knuckle! =D

Those skeleton things are really fun to fight. Like in the forest temple that room with two of them. I like showing off my moves and like backflipping and sidestepping out of the way of their attacks. Everyone "wow's" me. They at least put up a fight and are fun.
Also the theives in Gerudo Fortress when you are about to save one of the carpenters. They provide some good practice too.

The Stalfos in OoT and MM, as well as the knights in Wind Waker. Like Lem said, they're the only things that really fight back, and have tactics to boot.
Fighting the stalfos was fun, they'd flank you, and you'd have to get out from between them, while continuing to kill the one you had set out to beat initially. Or, if you fought more than one, you could let them revive (something I noticed. If you fought two, and killed one, then spent a lot of time on the second one, the first one would reshape itself), and just continue to fight them that way.
I liked fighting the big knights in Wind Waker for much the same reason. You had to roll around to their backside, and cut off their armor, then proceed to give them a beat-down, or steal their weapon from them, and use that against them as well.

I always envoyed fighting the Gorudo(i think thats how u spell it) chicks from Orcarina of time. And its not cause they were chicks its cause they were just fun to fight especially the ninja ones that came down when u tried to rescue the the hostages.

I dont know why but i've always had a softspot for dodongos. Does anyone else get the feeling that deep inside they're just great big misunderstood puppydogs? I know it sounds strange siding with the enemy n all, but they just dont seem to have the same evil disposition as the stalfos, etc. In fact it took me about a 1/2 to kill the boss dodongo in OoT coz i just kept running around the lava pit until my bro lost the plot at me n told me to hurry up, lol

But he was just so cute and clueless! crashing into walls like that! Hey ive never actually thought to try this, but could u feed bombs to the smaller dodongos? like the ones in MM??
Keese are kool too, perfect for target practice with a bow

I liked to beat the living dead crap out of the Re-Deads in LoZ: OoT! It was fun just to go into the old castle market place with all the Re-Deads and go beserk with the Master Sword.

I don't know if this is considered an enemy. I like to hit pigs in Windwaker and then run when they chase me. Yes, they actually can kill you. That's what I do when I'm bored. I ran for Link's life across a bridge with a giant black pig chasing me. XD If you are gonna try this, use a boomerang or arrow at a faraway distance. But bombs are fun to use.
I also like the floormasters in OoT. They were creepy. Hello? A freakin' hand!

My favorite Enemies are the Poes. They are just 2 cool! And when you hear them laugh and that weird hover noise they make, I think its awesome! The Iron Knuckles are cool too, I just like all the shiny stuff they wear though. Deffinately the Poes are my favorite, granted they aren't particularly challenging, but I like them all the same. I wonder what it would be like if Link were a Poe.

My favourites are live bombchus from Majora's Mask and the green wobbly things (they electricute you if you attack them with your sword) from A link to the past and Oracle of Ages/Seasons. I know that they aren't the most dazzling of enemies and that they don't really challenge your mind when facing them but I for some reason I'm incredibly fond of them.

My favourite enemy would be the Knights and Wizrobes from Wind Waker as well as those ninjas from Ocarine of Time.
Wizrobes were great to fight when your in an open area. It made full use of the roll and dodge techniques of Links. It's also were projectile attacks (arrows mainly)work best.
Knights was more of a one on one combat type of thing which I really liked. Although there was a glitch where you aim a fire arrow at him and the flame would take its armor away ^^;. Bombs too!

Well I might as well say that even though the Wind Waker isn't as good as the others, fighting on it is extremely fun due to the fact it's much more fluent, so I like to fight alot of things on there. Well, 1.
I love to fight the Wind Waker Iron Knuckles (The knights). The most simple way to kill them, and you can take one on without getting hit if you're skilled enough, is you stand still with your sword drawn and L target on it, parry it and you will somersault, cut his helmet off, then quickly turn around and thrust attack to the straps on his armour hopefully cutting it iff, if you didn't managed it quick enough then parry him again, but holding left or right as you do so you roll and upperslice his armour off, then I just parry him all the time and put in random slices and nice combos and he gets pooned! Oh yeah, I loved those things too....And does Orca count? He’s not really an enemy, but you can fight him. I was obsessed battling against him, even though I guess you could say it was repetitive....So fighting Orca would be my favorite, and if he doesn’t count I would like to retract my statemnt on the rats bing my favorite and have the knights as it. They were fun to fight against. Especially in the Hyrule castle, when the color returned....That was great

That bit is my favourite in the whole game, I just love to walk up to all of them and lure them to the open area and take them all on, I need like 3 or 4 fairies because I don't stand a chance against 10 knights and 10 of those other things! But yeah It's still fun, I parry all the knight's armour off and then I poon with spin attack mwahahahahaha!!!

Set one bottle to Y-Z or X (must be on filled with soup)
Press that button and start at the same time, replace the filled bottle with an empty one and then you'll drink it leaving a half in the empty one, leaving the other bottle full! Just repeat to fill all the other bottles with some of granny's old soup!

I like uhm The Iron knuckles from OOT and TP They ( to me) are the only challenging enemies..and fun to fight..because they are (besides bossess) the only actual indepth sword to sword fights which..are fun. Wind waker Iron knuckles were fun but too easy though they were only good swordsmen...enemies,Besides them goblins which aren't that..indepth...

I have a new favorite :P If the piggies count in Wind Waker (or the cuckos too I suppose) they're my favorite. I was playing WW a while back and was tormenting the pigs in...oh shoot, what's the place called...the wind mill place. Well, yeah. I found it amusing that I hit a pig and then I was freaking out because then all the other pigs ran for me and I jumped off a 'cliff' into the water. The pigs followed me and I was kind enough to shephered them back to land...then I did it again XD Yup. Random story, but pigs are now my favorite enemies.

The Wolfos from OoT. It wasn't just a hack 'n slash game with them, they defend themselves pretty well so you have to wait for opening and such to strike, it's a nice and fun challenge.

I have to agree with YourSweet666. The Wolfos from OOT and MM are quite fun to kill. They do defend themselves quite well and it's a tad of a challenge, yes.
I also like the Stalfos. They are quite simple to beat. You may not think that when you look at them for the first time though and that makes it more fun.

What I don't get is why people love fighting wolfos. They can be beaten in one hit... Wait for them to attack you, and step back and they will miss revealing their tail, even one jump attack from the Kokiri sword beats them wen you hit their tail like that...
I also like fighting chu chus - they go "Boiiiiiing" when you hit this (Wind Waker now not MM)
