A couple of months ago i asked in a post where could i download the perfect ending of FF X-2, it's for a friend of mine, can anyone give me the link again if they have? I don't remember where it is and the file is too big to email it to her. And the translation if it is in japanese?
Athrun
Sure.
You can download the ending movie here.

Final Fantasy X-2 Perfect Ending (Jp)

Tidus: "I got a theory. I think the fayth gathered up my thoughts and
put 'em together to bring me back. Maybe. Something like that."

[The camera views Yuna watching the sunset and then Tidus looking at his
own hands.]

Tidus: "Or maybe...I'm still a dream." He's not sure if he is or not. Quite different from the Japanese statement where it seems as if he's sure he's still a dream =/

Yuna: "Wait! So you'll disappear?"

[A short pause.]

Tidus: "Cherish me, Yuna. And I'll cherish you. All right? We gotta stay
together. That's what we have to do."

[Yuna approaches Tidus' back and placed her arms around his back.]

Yuna: "Is that what the fayth told you?"

Tidus: "Nah. But I like it."

[Tidus and Yuna laugh and then Yuna push Tidus into the water.]

Tidus: "That's not cherishing!"

Yuna: "You didn't disappear."

I never like the Perfect ending because I just played through the game three times and I get something this short and its not in CG WTF?!
Livewire2816
I didnt like the whole concept of final fantasy x-2, but ive got nothing to say. That was a lie, i mean dont you think Final Fantasy VII was great because it had an ending only worthy to those who earned it. As well as X, but creating a sequel completely riuned its fabrication of mystery that once encaped the heads of its most loyal fans, one of those fans is me! And for them to create a second of any Final Fantasy is and would and will be a complete discrace to the series and just another let down in the gaming hearts and souls of those who really give a crap to where the series is headed, with this being sead, perfect endings suck and thats really all there is to it.

I love the new ending to ffx-2. Because it shows that all the hard work yuna payed off.
But thats just a new person say.

Never got it and I don't think I'll have the patience to I got to 93% and said that was close enough for me.
LagunaWannabe
It shouldnt be 100% cause thats ridiculous.. I would say anything higer than 90% should unlock the ending, cause the ending really isnt THAt good.. its not even in cinematics, its in cuscene lol.... i used Gameshark to beat mine, but shhhh

Anyways the Perfect Ending was nice, but nothing too great, Im still not sure why Tidus came back since the Fayth stopped dreaming, but we'll wait for FFX-3 i guess lol

Well because the Fayth's owe Yuna for saving them and Spira from Shuyin's spirit, that seemed to posess them and affect the whole farplane.
Hence why you had to fight the Dark Aeons again.
Final Fantasist
Yes, we fight the dark aeons again cause of shuyin, but they're far more easy then the ones from FF X. Let's face it, if they were as difficult as in FF X not many people would even consider ending the game, imo
maxxumas
I still say FFX-2 was a good game but no where near deserving being called a Sequal. That puts way to much pressure on the game in my opinion. I think if they would have just billed it as a spin-off or something, then it would have been more widly excepted but it definatly wasn't a sequal. As for the perfect ending, for one thing its super hard to find every little percentage point if you don't have a guide book or something. Plus, the ending was good but...not what I was expecting for a perfect ending. Perfect ending to me would have been everyone coming back to life, jecht, braska, auron, shuin, lynn...well...ok, not everyone. BAD Yu Yevon. BAD. Don't make me get the Raid! >.> Yu Yevon gets my vote for 2nd final boss ever. (number one is that...THING that appears after you beat Trance Kuja in FFIX)
yuna16
i dont really like the perfect ending because, 1. it not in cg animation and all that good stuff! 2. because it is so short, i mean if i work my butt off for 100% i want to see some action!!!!!!! hahaha just kidding, but i really think they should have made it a little more worth it! the happy ending was fine! biggrin.gif
doriscrockford
I'm sure I've said this a hundred times. The perfect ending is not worth all the trouble of playing that godawful game through and picking up every little fraction of a percentage point - especially those long spheres you have to watch, where you get points for watching a dog run past or something. Lord...

I repeat for emphasis. x.x;; Its very precise, and you have to get practically EVERYTHING done and you know what? If your connection is good enough you can just watch it on the computer which I did. (Then again you can do that for all endings, I just found it an interesting point to show off when I'm talking about this. xD) The game wasn't terrific in any part or way, though I did enjoy the fashion show going on but that just spawns from my interest in general fashion-looking. x___X;;; The rest of the game is icky, with a weird side story coming from the Crimson sphere. The ending I saw was kinda sweet though, but because it was so often mentioned and talked about...it wasn't really special anymores. xP

Pesmerga
lol....this is really sad, the special ending is not good because it is not a FMV...

omg, you degraded yourself to "graphics over story" rpg players lol, it really doesn't matter if it is FMV or not, as long as the moment and the story is good.
Anyway, the special ending sucked, I mean it isn't special, it is just a random scene that X-2 has enough of, the game sucks and so does this ending lol

It bloomin well matters when you've spent bloomin hours getting all the percent points and it's not a bloomin FMV! Aarg.

Though I agree story > graphics I would have liked to see an FMV. You see we RPG fans enjoy our conventions (IMO) and one such convention is that when we have acheived something we get an FVM sequence as an award.

The most annoying thing is that the 'moment' and the 'story' arn't even that special or good. It hardly explains anyway. Really quite annoying.

this is the translation for the perfect ending, cause it's in japanese:

Tidus: "I got a theory. I think the fayth gathered up my thoughts and
put 'em together to bring me back. Maybe. Something like that."

[The camera views Yuna watching the sunset and then Tidus looking at his
own hands.]

Tidus: "Or maybe...I'm still a dream." He's not sure if he is or not. Quite different from the Japanese statement where it seems as if he's sure he's still a dream =/

Yuna: "You didn't disappear."

rena
Well I looked trought the special ending
It isn't soo bad, but they could make it longer
You play the game for 100 or over 100 hours
and all they gave too you is some video clip of 2 min?!!

But its ok

I was thoroughly disapointed upon receiving the "Perfect Ending". I said "WTF WAS THAT!!?" Really loud and almost got grounded, except I managed to blame it on the TV... somehow...

Anyway the best part of 100% completion is just that, the little 100% next to your save. Thats what made me feel warmest... not some stupid crap about cherrishing people.

~Daze

Tidus: "That's not cherishing!"

Yuna: "You didn't disappear."

Me: "WTF WAS THAT!!?"
