Will there be an up to date one posted soon?
Thanks smile.gif

OK, I have sampled the delights of FF XI.

Is it me or is the interface crazy? I have played a bunch of MMO games, but I never saw one as counter-intuitive as this....or is it just me?

Is there something you need to do if you want to use a PS2 style controller, as I cant get mine to function at all sad.gif

Thanks again cry.gif

Sry, I meant PS2 "style" controller, I have a USB one.

Can someone take the time to recommend settings by button number, I can live with most stuff in the game but the camera is killing me, I would like to control it with the Right lever on the controller, can anybody recommend settings? as I cant get the camera to work properly atm sad.gif

Firstly I would like to thank anybody that answered my questions.

I really cannot take to this game for a number of reasons.

I find the controls very awkward, the camera controls really annoy me, The UI for accessing INV etc are quite cumbersome, The fighting is really slow (maybe it picks up at higher levels, but it is nearly turnbased, The graphics I suppose are created for PS2 levels, so they probably have to be so bland, but the character animations I find very poorly done as well.

Unless I'm missing something or doing something wrong, which I hope if thats the case, someone can give me a pep talk and put me on the right path smile.gif

Thanks again to all who helped me smile.gif

This really depends on what controller you are using. If you want the controller to be the same as say the PS2 controller then you'll probably have to buy Logitech Dual Action Gamepad controller which functions the same as the PS2 controller on the PS2 version of the game.
