.. to get you, the players to purchase and widen the Breath of Fire franchise?

For me. I'd like them to use something more than the whole Dragon Clan story. Dragons can be involved, but not so much. Anyhow, if not that. I'd like more characters other than Nina and Ryu. They can be guess stars, but that's all.

The battle system from both Breath of Fire 3 (gene system) and Breath of Fire DQ need to return. =) The art-style from Breath of Fire 1 and 2 need to come back. As for graphics? I don't really know. Capcom can try other things. I loved what they did with Breath of Fire DQ's look. (NOT the characters.) But how the world was. It was dark and new. =P I loved that a lot.

We all know another Breath of Fire title is coming.
No, not the port, Breath of Fire 3. Breath of Fire 6. Or whatever title they have planned for it. I still would welcome a Breath of Fire Tactic's. That could so work!

Release a new game and I'll probably buy it. None of this port crap of the old games, just release a collection for the PS2, PS3 or Revolution. I want Breath of Fire VI as soon as possible.

Though I doubt it will happen, I would love another survival type RPG like Breath of Fire V. But, with different artwork, since I didn't like 5's artwork at all. Keep the dark theme going, too. I would love the series to take this turn since it would be different from the other RPG series.

Beside that, I'll probably be cool with whatever they release. I just want another title for the PS2, which I doubt will happen, but we'll see what happen.

It should have Sephiroth, Cloud, Tidus, Blitzball, Moogles, Megalixirs and stuff like that. Lots of plot holes, and a boss that appears out of nowhere, named Brethron.
It should have FFX's battle theme music, and Limit Breaks.

Well honerstly, it doesn't matter what they put in the game, I'd be interested anyway.
If the title says Breath of Fire VI, then I'll probably buy it.

If you hadn't guessed by now, I'm not particularly disappointed in how they handled any of the BoF games.

I've basically said what I would like in the next BoF title in earlier topics, but I'll say it again! ^^;

For starters, they need to bring back Bow (preferably the wolf form). Heck, bringing back Gobi as maybe a support character would be nice, too.

A true "trilogy" of sorts would be excellent, with an upgraded battle system, a new villain, and a much more complex story involving the Dragon Tribe.

If anything would bring new people into the BoF series, I think that would.

Yeah, Val. Like others said. It need not improvement to gain our interest because we've played the series, and we've became a fan.
As for newbies, yes, BoF need major improvement, and the 1st comes to mind is the storyline, I think BoF storylines are weak in some way, not much people talk or debate about it, just kind of flows like that and then dissapear. Not very memorable. But that is my opinion.
