I have to say its a tie with Jr. and Albedo. There both cool as ever! Jr. becouse he looks cute as hell and becouse I love his outfits. Albedo was also very cute with many good intrests and looks. I found it cool how he turnd from a baby to a man! xD

I loooooove Kos-Mos. <3 She is a bit on the more.....emotionless side, but I always found her to be the epitome of a sort of dominant woman. She is tall, sleek, her hair is lovely, her moves are awesome, though the one thing I did find a bit unsettling was this one attack she had where things flew out of her abs. :| Of course she is supposed to be a kick-butt robot, but that was just such an awkward thing to look upon. xD

Well, I'll stick with the playable characters (as I do like Albedo, but that'd be more my favorite Xenosaga villain ^^ ). There are 2 characters I really like a lot in Xenosaga, those being chaos and Rubedo (or Jr. if you like, I just like his real name much better). However, it depends on which Episode I'm playing.

In Episode 1, it's chaos: caring, friendly and helpful ^^ . I normally don't care much about the complete goodie goodies, but he's an exception. And it's because of that angelic aura of his... with all his Techs, like: Angel Wings, Heaven's Wrath, Angel Blow, etc. And in a couple of his Techs he sprouts a nice pair of white, shiny wings. Besides, almost all of the official art shows him with wings =) .

Rubedo on the other hand was a character I didn't like much at all in Episode 1. I guess it's mostly because he just looks damn weird in the anime style, as well because he doesn't get developed as much. And his voice actor (or should I say actrice ;-) ?) sounded kinda cliché (and Jr. already has plenty of cliché lines, at least make them sound interesting xP ).

But now, in Episode 2: chaos... *sigh* he just suckies in this one. First of all, I personally think they completely ruined his character model as well as his voice (the voice actor just didn't do a good job, if you ask me. The voice just sounds weird, unlike Wilhelm's voice, which is done by the same voice actor... oh well). And secondly: gone is his angelic aura! No more Angel Techs (I think there's one Double Tech, but that's all). Fortunately, the Episode 3 chaos seems to be returning to the original style =) .

As for Rubedo, he's my favorite this time. He looks much (and I do mean mùch) better, and I think his voice actor has improved very much. In my opinion, unlike in Episode 1, she (yes, she) really does a good job at voicing Jr. this time. And of course, he gets a lot of development this time. I was really interested in his story, and right now I like him better than chaos ^^ .

if i had to pick just one favorite it would have to be chaos. he just seems to have so much mystery and aura surrounding him. he was my toughest character in episode 1, but for some reason he just didn't seem so tough in the 2nd one. not trying to ruin anything for anyone- but i think he will be the most baddass character in episode 3 from what they show you at the end of 2!

Rubedo was my main man/kid in Xenosaga Episode 1. He did one of the most DMG. I have to agree with you on chaos I just started and know he is bad from the start of the game. In Xenosaga 1 he was alot more better.

I like Albedo and Rubedo most. MOMO too, I always use Rubedo and MOMO in my party =D

Mine should be quite..obvious. There's no one else in the game I like either. She looks better in episode II than I, but I'm still trying to figure out how can she go from looking like a kid to some super model in a short time.

Kos-Mos and Shion are definitely my favorite characters in the game.

Kos-Mos just blew me away the first time I saw her battle the Gnosis in the game.
And I love her character design. The way she transforms her arm into a blade or a gun, and her long and blue silk hair, along with her emotionless expression, always with a hint of a smile on her lips. .
An emotionless android and killing machine. Yet for some reason it's easy to empathise with her. And I can't help but wanting to know more about her, and why her eyes sometimes turn blue, and where "the real her" is?

As for Shion, I also liked her attitude a lot. The way she yells at people and bosses them atround one minute (especially Allen), to being very sympathetic, kind and emotional the in the next.
Shion is one tough tech girl.
I liked her nerdy and cute appearance in the first game more than the way she looks in the second game. But I like that look for her a lot as well.

Both Shion and Kos-Mos had great voice actors in the first game that suited their characters very well. It's a shame that they changed them in Episode II.

Yea my main party is MOMO, KOS-MOS, and Rubedo now. There my best people!

Best main party= Jr., Kos-Mos, and Chaos. Jr. is my favorite character however. Not because hes the best fighter, but his involvement in the storyline. The relationship between him an Albedo is even most intense hero/villain relationship of any video game. Even more that Cloud/Sephiroth, in my opion, and thats saying alot!

my usual people in battle are shion, momo and jr(rubedo). but i like using kos-mos too. they are pretty useful together in my opinion. but all in all, shion uzuki is my favorite character in the game.

I love Kos-Mos's designs in the first and teh second Xenosaga games beacuse of the complexity behind the character and the detailed drawings of her as well to the different battle moves she has instore it makes me extremly excited that she is an android rather than a human.

Albedo, for sure. T-Elos is looking to be a pretty cool character, though.

My favorite character? Definitely KOS-MOS. I loved it when her eyes turned blue and she absorbed the gnosis. I also like how she moves so swiftly and agilely. Not to mention her body... Plus, she's got a deep character, even though she's supposedly a robot.

chaos is my favorite character...I really like his entire personality...so calm all the time, and always kind and patient...his silver hair makes him look really stylish too...and he was great in battle...he had the face of an angel too

I liked chaos only because he had the whole mysterious coolness factor going on. And shiny hair. Shiny hair is always a bonus.

But favorite has to be KOS-MOS. Just the way she carries herself, especially in Episode I, makes me smile. I always put her in the lead to hear her dialogue, especially during the Erde Kaiser quest. And I like her character developement, because she is coming to turn with who she is and what really makes someone alive. Added that she looks hot, and you've got a winner.

My favorite can be a bit difficult, depending on the episode. In Episode I, I liked how most looked. KOS-MOS, Jr., Chaos, Ziggy. When I first played the game I thought Ziggy was the coolest, but I matured and liked Chaos. He seemed so calm with everything, a goody-goody character that I actually liked. I liked him in Episode II but not quite as much. In Episode II it was more KOS-MOS, the others didn't flash quite as much as before to me.

I think overall, it might be a close tie to KOS-MOS and Chaos. From what I've seen in Episode III, the two of them still look really cool, I love her new look, but Chaos is always cool. Difficult to deside. Maybe I can make a real decision when I manage to play the game, I might get some gray hairs by that time though lol.

My Favorit character is Kos-Mos. Her arsenal of vary cool weapons. like the tri-mingun.

Wow, so many people like KOS-MOS and chaos... Not alot of Albedo fans around here. :\ I left on a trip, so I missed in alot of stuff.

It seems even chaos isn't sure what Kos-Mos really is. But it seems like her true self and chaos' powers are linked somehow, judging from the end of Episode I.


I liked her Episode II attire, but yeah, not nearly as much as the geeky look. But I suppose it's nessecary since she's growing very suspicious of Vector.

Chaos is my favorite character, there is just too much going on with him (behind the scenes no less) for me to not like him the best. He is Bad-Ass plain and simple. Though I think it would be more interesting if he were a bad guy, though my party would be in shambles without him.

So far not really a fav, but I am new to the series, but so far I like MOMO, KOS-MOS, Rubedo, Albedo.

Albedo, cause he is just wickedly insane, a good villain imo, Rubedo, well he is just awesome imo and MOMO and KOS-MOS, well both ladies have something intersting, good characters imo.

Chaos hands down, Imean in episode 1&2 he was calm and collected no matter what the situation, and you never really saw him sxpress anger till the end of episode 2. Besides the Man took down 4 Mechs with a single Beam shot, lets see heero yuey try that one!!! I can't wait for the pr.3 story to be revealed,choas'es last words left me on the edge om my seat!

And lets not forget my dear KOS-MOS. although her ep2 costume was a bit lacking, it's still kool to see her pull out giant machine guns and blast things to peices. And besides, whats better than a chick with a giant gun, let alone 2 of them.

Well I'm incredably new to the series, I've watched the DVD for the first game and I've only really just started on the second.

Anyway, I have a hard time picking out my Favourite. I like Ziggy's sense of honour and compassion towards MOMO. I like Rubedo's character especially when it comes to flashbacks however I like Chaos to just be on my team. He is a nice all-round character it seems and has a clam aura around him.

All the characters have great traits but I havn't warmed up to Shion yet... I just don't paticulaly like her that much I guess...

My Main Team is Chaos, Ziggy and MOMO, however KOS-MOS often makes an appearance. I try to use Jr. but I seldom find a use for him. His attacks never seem to do enough...

My favourite character is Rubedo. First it was because he reminded me of Billy from Xenogears, young, more mature than he looks (i think even the manual hands downs says it like that) and he uses some fairly awesome guns.

Rubedo is of course fairly different than Billy and with the two games released you come across a very interesting character that you slowly discover facts about.

And BTW, i cant stand Ziggy or MOMO, i never use them if i have a choice, which thankfully is often.

letss see here... well first i would say that i like everyone that was playable. there really all good in there own right. but there are things that put characters out of the group more than others(hope that made sence). For me in Xenosaga 1 i liked rubedo and KOS-MOS the most in that game.

KOS-MOS at first was the greatest character in my team. she was always the strongest. Her personalty makes it so that she has no emotions and she will do anything that is more "probable" or has "the better outcome" never thinking about how life will be effected. stone-cold killer but then she has that weird look that one time when she went and used the X-buster i think and her eyes turned blue and she said "would i become human if i fell pain?" or something like that. that gave a glimps of something like emotions. that makes her really cool.
in the second xenosaga kos-mos still is kinda like this but is more understanding i think. she worse in the second one.

Jr. or Rubedo is the second favorite of mine. he was made artificially and had the instincts of a fighter and always wanted to fight. then he as the problem with albedo his twin brother.(evil i might add). his attitude and his personality makes him so much older that he looks but then again he is older than he looks. also his attacks are just cool. the second xenosaga he changes and he is ok. definate change that though.

I'm not very far in the first Xenosaga game yet, but I like KOS-MOS the best...She is kinda automatic with her emotions at my point where I am in the game, though...But she is a good fighter and by far the most interesting. She has a good voice actor too. KOS-MOS ftw for me^_^

I guess Shion is okay, but she seems kind of annoying, personally...
