I finished WA1 last week and when I was listening to the official soundtrack, there were songs, that were not in the game !

Into The Wilderness
Demon's Castle
Bringing It Back To Soil
Castle Of Flames
Clash And A Promise

And maybe some more...
I am pretty sure about he two choral-type songs.
I was looking for answer for mys question - why is that ?
And here, I found anime-pictures from intro.
But there is no intro in my game !
(Just the hidden, in-game intro in Arctica castle)
I used PS-player and it also didn't find any intro.
Why is that ? Are there different versions of WA1 ?
With intro and the songs and without intro and the songs ?
Is possible to download just the intro somewhere ?
Please, help me.

Every song with the exception of the ending credits appears in the PSX WildARMS. In the NA version and the UK version the ending credits were replaced by a medley of other songs. If you can't find a song it's likely because you just didn't notice it. The only things that can be called intros are the wait'n'play arctica clips and the pre Adlehyde attack levels.

Into the Wilderness, was the opening animation theme, how'd you miss that?
Demon's Castle, was the theme from the Pandemonium Dungeon
Bringing it Back to the Soil, If I'm not mistaken, was the Elw Dimention theme, that or the Baskar theme.
Castle Of Flames, was from the Arctica intro durring the scene of Garret passing out in the snow with the burning castle in the background, hence the name Castle of Flames.
Clash and a Promise, I believe had something to do with calamity jane, but I'm really not sure

Thanks for answers. Maybe melody, but there weren't voices in the Demon's Castle, and in the Bringing it Back to the Soil songs, were they ?

What do you mean by "opening animation" ? Maybe it is was i meant by intro.
Was it like anime movie ? Because I don't have it there. PSM player didn't find it either.

I spend wonderfull time with WA1, so I was quite sad,
when I found out, that I didn't see the opening movie.

Once more thanks for answers.

At the beginning, before even coming to the title screen it shows, at least in the US version, a movie of Rudy climbing a cliff. I believe the movie is located on here on the main site. It shows the characters, and my favorite song.

If you like Wild Arms, you should get the remake of it, if it comes out where you live or do you import? The remake is called Wild ARMS Alter Code:F and it has a redone opening movie.

I figured it out, because of WA's premature release into North American and European countries where Japanese culture hadn't taken off just yet the songs were re recorded without the japanese lyrics. The others clarified the opening movie issue, but if you haven't yet watch it, it's great. And listen to akboy and buy WildARMS: Alter Code F

Thanks again. It's nice to talk with somebody who played it too.
In my small country, there is just a few people, who play japan-rpg and I didn't know anybody who played WA. I am trying all of good japan-rpgs for psx, so there is a long way before me, but I believe that one day I will play Alter Code F for suer, I am looking forward the nostalgic feelings, that I will have smile.gif

During my way through j-rpgs, I buy Legend of Legaia too. I am playing it now. It's nice game, but during time it's quite irritating to make the combos every time you jump into fight.

Wow, I'm surprised. Usually it's the other way around. Since there are a bunch of in game songs that they didn't put on the OST. Anyways, yeah, try to find ACF.

i love that openning... *sniff*
i really hope Alter Code F doesn't screw it up, like what happened to Wild ARMs 3- adding lyrics.

I don't remember where I saw it, but you can download the intro for Alter code: F. I doesn't have lyrics and I like it.

Unless your version of Legend of Legaia is different than mine, you shouldn't have to enter in all the combos. After you learn a move, it gets added to your list. It's been a while since I've played it. Try pressing square while on the screen for entering combos, that should bring up a list of all the moves that you've learned and you just highlight the move and press X to have it enter it for you. If that doesn't work, try other buttons on the battle screen. It's worth it, it has a very good story.
mikolas
Oki, I'll try it.
I recommend Lunar (beautiful anime vids and story), Tales of Destiny (good battle system), Suikoden (nice story, own castle and more) and of course FF7 (good everything smile.gif
