The city of Tewen was bustling at the drop of the evening sun, the lights of the city now illuminating the sky instead of the brilliance of the stars and the full moon that was present tonight. On this evening, people were out taking their walks, hgaving their drinks, going to their homes, everyone doing something that transcend their daily life. Unfortunately, such a life was about to come to an end if nothing doesn't stop history from repeating itself.

Staring out of a glass window from the 45th floor of the LAW HQ building, the largest skyscraper present in the city that had up to 53 floors, was a man who once saw the tragedy of Tewen two years ago. The lights reflected on his shades as he stared out over the city with a tranquil and meditative gaze. His arms were behind his back, showing a posture of importance, yet thought. His image reflected upon the pane slightly, able to see himself after just this little time.

The door behind him opens as a man walks in, wearing a dark blue police-like uniform, yet the badges on his shoulder and chest showed that he held a great position. His hair was long and black as it reached down to his shoulder, his face showing great strength among his light colored skinned. The man at the window simply wore a tight black shirt that greatly revealed his muscular body, wearing leather black pants and his gun holsetr at his waist. He turns to face the new entree, his stature still the same.

"Lieuteniant Dingaurd," the man replies.
Jason removes his shades upon his name and places a smaile across his face. "Yes, Chief Gilgred?"

"It looks as if we will be deploying our forces sooner than we thought."

Jason looks back at the city and replies after a momentary pause:"Just as I expected. The two gangs have finally lost their patience."

"We got information that they are mobilizing forces in the Eastern and Western areas, the ones near their two cities. It won't be long until they spread out over Tewen and begin their plans to end one another."

Jason replies looking back at his chief:"Then it is most likely that some are already within the city itself."

"Forces have already been ordered to hold off those specific areas. But it seems that they have already started. They are in the northwestern district, Samson, already beginning to cause a riot. It won't be long until more break out. It is your duty to keep them under wrapped, Lt. Dinguard."

Jason smirks. "I will, sir. They will not crumble the city it took us so long to rebuild."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The gates in the under garage open as a black jeep with the isigna "LAW" painted in white letters on its side drives out of it, followed by two more. In the lead vehicle was Jason, driving alone as a large crossbow sat in his backseat. In the other two jeeps were four officers each, all ready to assist the man in subduing the disturbance and hgopefully this gang war. Their cars zoom through the streets, passing many of the civilian cars as they made haste to the location, their red and blue lights flashing while a long whrring siren came from it. The street lights past along the black vehicles and Jason's shades as he proceeded forward, wondering if he would be able to suceed this time in protecting the ones he sworn to. The people of Tewen.

"Kaito-san, it's begun." The door to a medium sized room flew open as a young girl stepped into a very Japanese looking domain. Archaic, but elegant in its simplicity. In the center of the room sat a small table but a couple feet off the ground. Sitting on a small mat lay a black mountain.

"Yuri, what did I tell you about barging into my room?" The cloaked figure asked as he carefully placed a small yet intricate cup of herbal tea down on a small coaster.

"Oh.... I'm sorry, Kaito-san...." The young girl made to step out of the room, closing the door as her last foot entered the hall. But a second later, a small *thump..... thump* sounded.

"It's okay, Yuri-chan." The door creaked open. "You realize that you didn't have to do that, right?" The silk door slowly crept completely to the side, Yuri scratched her head and bowed.

He couldn't help but think how the nicely the name fit her. Yuri, an innocent lily in a thicket of weeds. A vanilla complexion offset beautiful brown eyes and thick black hair that flowed freely down to her upper back. The finishing touch, a kimono, which seemlessly captured her petite frame. It wasn't that he liked her, per se, he just didn't want to see her here. Her talent, though mediocre, as an aero-kinetic just didn't fit here. From her delicate fingers spread a tessen (fan) which waved back and forth. The tessen a gift for her joining the phoenix.

"Kaito-san, what's wrong?" Her tone was low, caressing.

The warm tea burned, sliding down his throat. "It's nothing that you need to worry about, Yuri-chan... nothing at all."

"Okay.... please forgive me, Kaito-san," Yuri bowed and took her leave.

//It's too early for this.... for this to come out into the open. What is going on? Deimos-san must already know of this...//

Once more, the cup's content was consumed before empty.

(OOC: //thoughts//; Vex, i hope that this post was suitable. Also, would you permit me to turn Yuri into at least an npc?

Edit: yay~ grammer)

“Now!” The Phoenix Queen shouted.

The girls began to run to the window. Beatrix Madeen top pimp, top gangster and top field agent looked through the window wondering if it was the end. Excitement bubbled in her stomach. Looking to each side of her, the girls were doing the same. Running for their lives. The helicopter floated outside of the window. Beatrix was the first to break the glass of the window jumping for the helicopter. In those slow seconds one thought if this was the end. Some fear of death. Landing onto the copter she lifted her head up looking for the other girls. They were already standing with their 6-inch heels and skimpy clothing. Girls. The Phoenix Girls.

“Go!” Beatrix shouted to the front of the aircraft signalling Lila to take off. The helicopter took off but the explosion caught them. Fire burst from the 78th floor windows of the national bank. The aircraft flew to one side. It had been damaged. Everything was happening so fast. Beatrix didn’t have to tell her girls to hold onto something. They knew already. Women were prepared like that.

“Land on that roof”, Beatrix pointed towards an untouched building.

“I can’t control it!” Lila shouted.

Beatrix cursed under her breath. Turning to the other girls she had to prepare them for this.

“Jump girls!” She shouted.

Lila undid her belt and made to the back and jumped out of the doors along with them. The helicopter flew without direction in the air and crashed into the national bank. Beatrix’s heels hit the ground, as did the others.

“Cats always land on their feet”, Catalina laughed.

Looking around Beatrix checked for numbers.

“Sorry B”, Lila apologised.

Beatrix couldn’t believe it. They had survived all of the shooting then the lasers and now the explosion and she was saying sorry. Then again they had been trained for this sort of thing.

“Don’t worry about it Lila”, Beatrix at times struggled to remember the names of her girls. There were quite a few after all.

“Get your arms ready…I’m sure the cops have noticed the bang”, Beatrix emphasised the word.

The other girls laughed pulling out various types of guns. Beatrix took out her golden guns. Shiny.

”Lead the way Lila”, Beatrix ordered. Lila took the lead knowing the ins and out of the middle city.

The radio inside his care upon the panel cuts on as a report comes through, spoken by a trained female LAW briefer whose voice was kept at the same volume and tone.

"There has been a robbery and attack on the bank building in the Scenic District. All nearby enforcers are said to make their way there at once."

"Isn't that great," Jason replies, shaking his head. "We got a riot just breaking out, and now this happens. If this trend continues, I believe this is going to become more hectic than I thought."

Another voice comes through, but it is one of the Chief Gilgred. "Lt. Dinguard, I believe you just been informed of the robbery at the Scenic Bank, correct?"[/]

Jason turns on his mic as he places a headset on his head, the arc matching precisely with the shape of his head. "Yes, sir, I have."

[i]"I am dislocating you to that district to deal with the culprits. No doubt it's one of the gangs trying to get rich quickly."

"Get rich schemes always fail in the end, sir." Jason chuckles as he switches to the frequency being used in the three jeeps and says back to the others:"I want you all to go deal with the disturbance in the Samson District. I have to go take care of some more important business."

"Yes, sir," one of the LAW enforcers reply to him.

Jason nods his head and drifts right at the next light, skidding forward, his car turning to face the street he was just algning with. He then turns the wheel in the opposite direction, the wheels now straight forward, and speeds off toward that bank. He could already see the smoke rising from the Bank building where the explosion too place and could already here the sirens of the fire trucks and ambulances, along with his, not too far. But his focus was on finding the people who did this.

The jeep weaved past the cars on the road as his siren went, indicating to the civilians to stay out of his way. Again, a voice from the radio comes through, his eye catching a LAW helicopter flying through the air.

"We have sighted the culprits upon the Vision Corp Roof, on the corner of Madison and Elsway. They are heavily armed."

"Really," Jason jokes sarcastically, pushing down on the pedal and increasing his speed. It'll only be another minute before he reached the building.

In the meantime, the LAW helicopter hovers over the girls, its giant light scoping them from above as a voice booms out to them:"Lay your weapons down. You are under arrest by LAW! Please subdue or you will be shot!"

OOC: Yes, you can use Yuri just as Alex is using NPC girls. But I only allow control of a number of characters, but for now, it's okay with me.

Beatrixs eyes as well as the other girls were being blinded by the light.

"Lay your weapons down. You are under arrest by LAW! Please subdue or you will be shot!", the helicopter spoke out to them through the mic.

Beatrix held her hands to her eyes.

"I repeat, Lay your weapons down. You are under arrest by LAW! Please subdue or you will be shot!", he repeated.

Beatrix smiled.

"Lets play girls!", Beatrix shouted ot the girls.

They all raised their guns in the air. The girls at the back shot at the spotlight. The girls were concentrating on the copter while Beatrix took out each pilot one by one with her guns.

The copter swirved around. Losing control it hti into the national bank.

It was funny to them that this had been the second time a copter had hit the bank. The girls were laughing.

"Lets split the scene girls", Beatrix ordered. They jumped from roof to roof sure there were no other copters in the area.

Wyane was sitting with her legs dangling on the edge of roof of another building when the commotion started. She was enjoying the quiet night when she heard the bang and crash sounds. She groans and stood up to see where it came from.

Not again…. Why can’t I even enjoy a peaceful and quiet night? Wyane complains in her mind and leaped from roof to roof to get closer to the sound and to see what just happened.

Seconds later, she was informed about the robbery and attack and have now reached a building just beside the crash.

“Hmmm…. Think this is the place told to me and the robbers should be somewhere nearby…” Wyane mumbled and looking at the poor crashed building and turning to look around for the robbers who caused the helicopter to crash and caught sight of girls leaping from roof to roof.

“ Hmm…. a group girls leaping from roof to roof at night? Must be the robbers then… or rather one of the gang’s…” Wyane mumbled and silently wished that the group of girls were not from Phoenix.

And with that, Wyane took out her pen and leaped from her roof to meet the group head on.

[ Cha! I posted =3 tag Xandrou...you are allowed to use Wyane, yes, but don't potray her too out of character neh, read her profile first nia ^^ that may help...]

As Beatrix landed on top of 'starbucks' she looked at the other girls to find they had stopped moving. Beatrix was about to ask why they had so suddenly stopped but discovered the source.

"Why...hello", Beatrix smiled.

The girl nodded.

"Something tells me your the robbers from the bational bank", The girl said hitted the nail right on the spot.

The girls laughed.

"Something tells me your not going to move that easily", Beatrix responded using the same structure in order to mock her. The other girls laughed.

"Hand it back over", The girls face became more serious.

The girls as well as Beatrix this time erupted in laughter.

"Why is it you think we have stolen something?", Beatrix asked.

"Form experience ive ussually found that girls only blow up banks when their stealing something", The girl gave a smile making Beatrix's blood boil.

"Move", Lila raised her black 6mm to the girl.

"Make me", The girl looked angrily.

Lila shot. Missing of course. The bullet hit the floor right between her legs. The girl didnt move that much. She peered down at the bullet.

"Phoenix Girls", The girl in front of Beatrix said picking up the bullet.

"Smart little minx", Beatrix smiled.

"Move now...or else I wont miss this time", Lila whispered. Beatrix noticed the steam coming from all of them. It was a cold night. A dark one and only the moon and stars lit the scene. Everyone had gone home. Except for the pathetic losers who did the night shift. Beatrix hated them the most. The reason being she too worked the night shift.

"If you know our work so well....youll know were dead serious", Beatrix reassured the girl. With a signal of her hand the other girls raised their guns too. They all aimed at major part s of her body. One shot form any of them and this girl was gone.

"Im asking nicley", Lila stated.
Suishoko
“I’m asking nicely”, Lila stated.

Wyane shook her head. She was hoping that they would give in easily so that she wouldn’t need to use her powers on them but apparently they do not plan on giving in.

I never really wanted to do this… sorry… Wyane apologizes silently to the Phoenix assassin who have trained her and gave her the name Wyane.

She have silently made him a promise that she would not harm anyone from Phoenix in any way if she had a choice just before she defected to Hades two years ago but now…she knows that she doesn’t have the choice.

“ Why don’t you try shooting me and see whether I move or not?” Wyane replied, all her attention on the group before her and trying to get them to shoot her so that she wouldn’t need to waste her time using her poison-coated needles and re-coating them with poison later on.

The girls snarled and shot at her without mercy or hesitation, apparently not liking the reply. The target stood there without any movements as though the bullets never existed and used her telekinetic powers to stop the bullets in mid air and just before it reach her.

“I would run if I were you.” Wyane told them coldly and used her powers to let the bullets including the one she picked up just now run backwards towards the group with the same speed and without any hesitation.

[ Tag Xandrou! and Xandrou-kun... Wyane don't get angry easily by the way ^^ ]

OOC: Making my introduction on my first roleplay here. No worries of course, I wont be intruding on any confrontations like other newbies I've seen. cool.gif

The man was driving casually in his bright red car, brand new and well taken care of, of course. Inside the car was a cd in the radio, Metallica blaring. Beside the radio was a mic, having something to do with a job or something like it. The top of the car was off, as it was summer and nice out like every night. The car sped past other vehicles, city lights blindingly going past him. He wanted to get home, it was quite a boring day at the office, only everyday thugs were out today, nothing special. Of course he would rather be a field officer, which he was, than working in the offices of LAW.

Sadly a red light was up ahead, he didn't want to get his new car smashed up after all. Putting on the breaks, he was first, directly in front of the red stoplights. Looking on the headboard of his car he noticed a blinking red light out the corner of his eye. It was the mic beside his radio.

"What is it this time..." said the man annoyingly.

He lowered his radio, it was so loud before he could hardly hear it anyway. Picking up the mic he pressed the button on the side of it, speaking into it, "Yea?"

"Yo Scourge..." the scratchy voice came out from it, and he already knew who it was.

Sighing with a roll in his eyes he answered, "What is it this time Danny? I'm going back home. I'm not taking down another stupid thug this late."

Danny quickly answered back, "Oh this ain't no thug Scourge! We got a riot close where you are! You got three jeeps of LAW guys goin' there too! Hurry up and get over there!"

Scourge answered back, "Sounds good, why dont you give me a location before you pass out from that damn suger rush your on?"

He let go of the button, hearing Danny studder for a moment, "Here it is! Jefferson and third! You know how to get there right!?"

He sighed with his long red hair touching his wheel, "Yes I know how to get there. GPS have reasons you know, now just take a chill pill. I'll get back to you later."

Scourge hooked the device back on the hook for it again, swerving around with traffic, even though the light was still red. He had kept his music down, probably too focused on the riot he was on his way to. Finally reaching it, Scourge swerved his car around to the side, so he could see all of the people turning over cars, beer bottles with matches in them through windows.

"I'll wait for backup." said Scourge as he took out a cigarette and lighter from his red trenchcoat, just about the same color as his hair and lit it, taking a puff and relaxing back in his chair.

This girl was one of the psycics she had been told about. Most likley one from the Phoenix Triad. As the bullets raced towards them Beatrix smiled. Thegroup had once consisted of 16 but now there were only 8 including the indestructable Beatrix of course. The girls lifless bodies lay without movement only the blood from their bodies moved.

"Is that it?", Beatrix asked.

These girls meant nothing to her. Lila laughed as did the others. They knew there was no time for remorse. However that did not mean Beatrix wasnt pissed off.

"Lila!", she shoated.

Lila knelt down onto the ground checking through her back pack. She pulled out a long black box. It looked like a case for a snooker cue. Lila ran to Beatrix and knelt in front of her. It looked almost like a ritual. Beatrix opened the box. Then she pulled something out of it. Lila closed the box and moved back to her original position. The girl didnt looked somewhat concerned to see the Beatrix to holding a katana.

"Tut tut tut...Let me teach you the meaning of good manners", Beatrix began to walk towards her. Beatrix was a maniac with a Katana. She could slice any limb in two without any trouble. The men of the Phoenix Triads feared her sword fighting abilities.

"What are you going to do with that?", The girl asked.

"Grant me one wish", Beatrix ordered.

"So your begginging to relise youve met your doom", The girl laughed.

"What is your name", Beatrix kept looking serious.

The girl didnt immediatley answer. She looked away form Beatrix and at the ground. Then she looked back at her again.

"They call me Wyane", she responded.

"What an interesting name....", Beatrix smiled, as did Wyane.

"I must say it does ring a few bells", Beatrix knew for definate who she was now.

Wyane looked confused but to relised she was more popular than she had expected.

Beatrix began wlaking towards her with her katana ready to slice and dice. Wyanes face made a worried expression.

A spot light hit Beatrix's eyes. Another copter. Beatrix took another look at Wyane. Then she reverted her look to the girls. Beatrix knew which was more important at that moment.

"Lets hit the road girls", Beatrix told them. As if they had never been there the Phoenix Girls including the Phoenix Queen jumped from the roof leaving Wyane and the aircraft and ran from the copter.

After running down the alley Beatrix and the girls turned a corner finding an alleyway bar.

"C'mon", Beatrix signalled them to enter.

"Here", Beatrix handed Lila her katana returning it to its coffin.

The walked in casually as if nothing had happened. They put on fake laughs pretending to be drunk and jooking about something. Yes...these were the Phoenix Girls.

The jeep comes to a stop as Jason gets out of the vehicle and looks up, hearing shots fired, and people jumping across the roof met his eyes. He groans as he gets back into the jeep and says into the radio, clicking the button:"We need another look out on Madison! I'm too far down to do anything at the moment!"

"Roger that. Unit 10 is already on its ways."

Jason replaces his mic and gets back out, continuing to look up. He notices the copter finally making its way over the roof. After that, he sees a few figures jump from the building and land into the alley. They disappeared around the corner, making Jason shut his vehicle's door and go to the back. He opens it and pulls out his primary weapon, his giant cross bow. He latches it onto his back with use of a double buckled strap and cocks back each of his pistols, replacing them back into their holsters. He makes sure his quiver of bows on his back pants were tightened to him and straightens his shades as he follows after.

He walks through the alley of which they jumped and peered around the corner at the other end. He looked around as he came out, fortunate that no one were dwelling, or a scare would be formed. He looks around before spotting a bar. Now, if you were a couple of crooks that had just gotten away with a bank robbery, or THOUGHT you got away with it, where would you go to celebrate. He chuckles as the answer was clear and walks up to the bar's door. He clears his throat and enters, seeing a few occupants alreayd over their heads in drinks. But what caught his attention were the group of swaying girls who seemed to already been drowned in bottles of liqour. He could not believe THEY were the robbers. From his view, they looked nothing more than girls looking for a good time, while the one that stood out in his eye was more likely the leader of the bunch.

He sighs as he walks over, a couple of men looking up at him as he passed them. They knew he was a LAW officer, yet they were too drunk too care. As for the bartender, he was getting a little fed up with the bunch of women until his eyes caught the sight of Jason, which meant he was even more stressed. He disappears through a swinging door to the back to avoid having to be in any conflict that would follow.

Jason stops and says to them from behind:"Evening, girls." He had to be casual. He did not want to stir up a fuss just yet. It was always best to at least try to politely get them to surrender, first.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Scourge parked his car near the riot, two LAW jeeps made their way from around the corner and comes to a stop. The doors shoot open as four officers get out of each one, their hands already holding a glass shield, which was more of a bullet proof shield, and ES-40s in their other. The ES-40s were multipurpose. They held tranquilizer ammo and lethal bullets. That way, they can switch at will with the push of a latch. They scurry, spreading out to where they can contain the men, with one of them shouting:"Stand down!"

The group of gangsters stop and looks toward the LAW enforcers, their eyes going wide as they fled the scene. Unfortunately, they were only teenage hooligans who thought a few drinks would make their night all the worthwhile. They sigh as they find it was no Phoenix or Dragon disturbance and drop their guard, but as they do this, three of the men get taken out as blood splatters from their body and thighs. Walking from the shadows was two people. One had long blue hair that tied into a ponytail while a dragon was tatooed on his bare body. He was only wearing leather black pants with leather boots. The other was a female who had short blonde hair, her attire of a red belly shirt and black short skirt with boots coming all the way up to her knees.

The two chuckle as the LAW enforcers raise back up their shields and guns and say to the two:"Who are you?!"

The man raises his head and replies with a carefree smile:"Call me Enlighten and call her Dissonance. We're loyal members of Dragon and have come to see what we may be up against. Looks like it was only LAW we were able to see today."

"Surrender yourself or.."

"We'll be shot," Dissonance says after, grinning. "Go ahead. Do it. But I promise you will not like what will happen after."

"Who the hell do you think you are," one of the men says, aiming his gun, switching the ammo, and firing at her. Enlighten places his hand in front of the bullet and squeeze it as it falls into ash onto the ground. LAW look at each other before firing their guns at them. Dissonance smirks as she places her hand out forward and starts to manipulate the very sounds of the gun fire. Their pitch is raised and the officers suddenly stop as they hold their ears, the sound now ringing through them as blood starts to pour in result of busted eardrums.

"What..the hell," they cry before Enlighten shows them the bullets they fired inbetween his fingers and crushes them as well. He laughs before speeding at them, his image not even seen until he was behind one of the officers and punches the man in the back, a crack heard as he coughs out blood and falls to his knees, followed by a face first drop. The two laugh out.
Alexandrou
Beatrix looked up at the man. LAW officer. They stood out like a shovel in the ground. Beatrix decided to play along.

"Why hello officer...what brings me this pleasure this evening?", Beatrix asked smiling.

The other girls had noticed. They were only acting drunk of course. If he dared strike hew oudl be dead in a split second, maybe even less.

"Oh...just stopping by for a drink...", He yawned. He took a seat beside Beatrix.

Beatrix's face lightened up relising this night was only getting better. She placed her right hand on his left shoulder.

"A drink eh...I hope this quenches your thirst", Beatrix said sticking her tounge down his throat and going full on. He seemed quite taken back.

Then Beatrix reached to her belt and tooka pair of ahndkuffs and tied his hand to the rail of the chairs.

"Bye now", Beatrixx laughed walking out hte back door with the other girls.

Scourge stayed in his car and watched as the two figures appeared, and also happened to see their capabilities. It was quite interesting to him. He figured something bad was going to happen eventually in the city, just not Dragon members so soon.

He picked up the mic from his car again, "Danny. You awake still?"

He answered quickly, "You bet! Is the riot that bad?"

"No..." said Scourge quietly as he watched the two gangsters, "You might want to get Lieutenant Jason or the Chief. It must have been planned. We got two Dragon members. Pretty damn good too."

Danny paused for a moment, finally speaking again reluctantly, "Dragon members...you want backup?"

Scourge pressed the button with his keen eyes on the eventual massacre that was going to befall the officers, "No. Just spread the news. See ya."

Scourge put the mic back on it's hook and opened his car door, shutting it behind him. He stood a little over six feet, his long crimson trenchcoat falling to the top of his ankles. He had his hands clenched, which were covered in some black leather gloves. His boots were black as well, along with his snug fitting pants with two 9mm pistols on both his thighs. He saw the two warriors, both of their appearances could be remembered quite easily.

"Hmm...Enlighten and Dissonance. Lets see how stupid LAW officers really are." Scourge said under his breath.

He walked directly from his car and to the building across from where he parked. In just a moment he disappeared into the darkness, the LAW officers were barking out orders as the other two were laughing with killing them. Silently Scourge opened an old metal door to the inside of the building and gently closed the door inside. It was pitch black inside but broken windows going up a long stairway. It went straight up, leading to the top obviously, probably used for drug dealings, apartment building long gone.

He walked up the stairs, each step taking a light 'clang' noise. As he was walking up Scourge could hear footsteps running back down. They stopped and he could see a young, dirty face through the small light through one of the windows.

"Who the hell are you!?" asked the young thug with a pointed finger. Scourge said nothing as he kept walking as if the man was not even there.

The young man didn't want Scourge going up so he went to take him out. Swinging a fist, Scourge easily moved his head backwards. He took the arm of the man and twisted it around, causing the thug to twist around and land with his back flat on the metal stairs. Scourge took a handful of hair, not to mention part of the kids head and smashed it into the brick wall. He then fell down the stairs, landing at the bottom.

"You'll be fine. Just a little nap." said Scourge as he gave a sort of wave or salute to the knocked out thug on the ground, whom he could hardly see. Turning back aroung he continued walking up the stairs.

“Lets hit the road girls", the girl who looks like the leader told them and the next second, they were running away.

Wyane blinked. She has not expected them to run away like that just because a helicopter was there. She was curious too, about the katana so she had made a worried face to get the girl to use her katana but the helicopter had came and ruined her plans of getting to see what the katana can do.

Girl… what are you doing! Don’t just stand there… chase them! a little voice in Wyane’s head scolded and shook her from the thoughts of the katana. Wyane blinked a few times more and did what she was told to do.

Wyane jumped from the roof and landed squatting on the ground. She ran in the direction of the girls and came to a bar. Wyane went into it thinking that there is no harm in checking some places they may hide and saw someone she didn’t expect tied to the chairs.

“ Hi Jason… Which way did they go?” Wyane asked, knowing that the group did the handcuffs.

Said Jason looked at the back door and Wyane used her powers to break the handcuffs and ran through the back door.

This time…I think I am going to use my needles since bullets doesn’t work on them… Wyane thought while taking out her pen and giving chase.

Seconds later, she spotted the running group and she open the cap at the back of her pen and used her powers to let the needles out while running. She let the needles run forward and stop in front of the group.

Seeing the wall of needles, the girls stopped abruptly. Wyane let the countless of needles surround the group to stop them from running anywhere unless they want to be poisoned and dead in a few seconds or minutes and stopped before the group herself.

“ Give what that doesn’t belong to you back and maybe…and just maybe I would consider letting you go and don’t even think of running… you don’t want to die after seconds do you?” Wyane said

Wyane let a few needles stabbed one of the girl’s important arteries at her neck and Wyane remember that she was the one who brought the katana and her name was Lila.

Lila’s eyes widen and made strangled noises. The group around her was looking at her with worried looks pasted onto their faces, especially the one who wield the katana and who is the leader since the needles aren't so visible sometimes.

“ Lila…what is wrong?” the leader questioned worriedly and seconds after the question, Lila fell to the ground with no movement and the needles at her neck reflected the moon’s light and shone brightly.

The girls' eyes widen at the sight of the needle, shocked to see that there is even any on Lila's neck.

“ Now would you consider giving it back or do I have to wait for Jason to come with a few cars and hmmm…maybe some helicopters and many officers with guns and handcuffs?” Wyane said. Though she was not one who likely use the playful tone often, she learned from Deimos and use it sometimes.

What a long and tiring day… Wyane thought and took out her pencil for backup if anything happens. She let the needles on Lila's neck joined back to the group of needles that surrounded the group and looked at them, waiting for their response.

[ Xandrou-kun o.o Jason don't play along...he is the one who question coolly and treat people coolly( and maybe one day go: miahahahahahha! jk X_X ) and even if the girls is luring him into a trap, he is one to stand not one to fall ]

Beatrix took one hard look at Lilas face. Then she looked to her ruck sack.

"One last time girl", Beatrix smiled.

Lila nodded her head and pulled out the case. Lilas breath became slower. Lila didnt kneel down in front of Beatrix this time instead she opened the box and handed Beatrix the katana.

"Thankyou", Beatrix looked at her seriously.

"Thanks for everything...Phoenix", Lila replied.

Lilas body began to shake and she dropped to the ground. The other girls wouldve shared a tear only for the interesting predicament they were in. Beatrix turned her gaze to Wyane.

"So Wyane...first of all you dont move out of my way...then you order me to give back what rightfully belongs to the Phoenix and now....you kill my sister?", Beatrix was not amused.

Wyane didnt seem to care.

"Trust my words for what you have done this night..you will pay with your life", Beatrix meant every single word thinking about her sweet Lila the entire time.

"As a sign of good faith I still hold my bargain", Wyane reffered to the deal she had offered earliar.

"Dear thing...The Phoenix Girls dont need pity from any f*cking person on this god damn planet", Beatrix responded coldly.

Wyane made some sort of face.

Then that officer was behind them. Holding a gun.

"Wyane what have you done?", he looked at Lila.

Wyane gave him a confused look.

"Do I sense a lovers tiff?", Beatrix laughed.

Jason and Wyane were distracted a little.

"Hiyah!", Beatrix shouted. The girls ducked down as Beatrix swung her katana in a circle causing all the needles to scatter to the ground. The girls got back to their feet.

"I have no time for this foolishness!", Beatrix looked at her golden rolex. She began running down the alleyway the girls following her leaving the two of them behind. Three if you counted the corpse.

They met a main road. Beatrix caught sight of a few cars.

"Go!", she pointed at the car with her katana.

They all ran to the car pulling on the handles. Locked. Beatrix pulled back her Katana then struck at the window causing the glass to break. Where was Lila when you needed her? Beatrix got into the drivers seat and pulled out a metal wire from her pocket and stuck it in the ignition. Twisting it around a litlte the cars engine roared. Loking towards the alleway she saw Wyane.

"Toodles", she waved out of the broken window.

The car sped down the road, at such a speed no man could catch them. Talk about a getaway. Beatrixs blood pulsed around her body as if it wouldnt stop.

"Exciting!", she laughed to the other girls. They of course laughed back.

"Guns ready...", Beatrix changed the tone incase anyone decided to chase them.

Jason watched them run after ducking from Beatrix's katana swing, but he wouldn't have them run that easily. He puts away his gun and unlatches the strap that held his giant crossbow to his back. He places in both hands forward, using the right to ready the arrows for release. He runs forward out of the alley and watches as they speed off in a stolen car, evident by the broken window and shattered glass upon the sidewalk's pavement. The LAW officer moves his nose as he raises his weapon, aiming it at the back-right tire. He was intending to just subdue the girls, but he needed to at least halt their progression away from him.

An explosive tip was his ready arrow, the lethal projectile that acted as a grenade launcher when it impacted a surface. For them, this was not going to be good. He just hoped he doesn't cause the car to fully explode or he would fail in his intentions. He aims a little away from the tire, or at least where he predicted where it was going to be in a split second and fires, the string shooting forward and firing the spiraling arrow toward its destination.

In the car, as the girls were laughing, including their crazy leader, one of them looks back and widens her eyes as she sees Jason aiming and firing a weapon at them. She screams to the others, but it is far too late as an explosion impacts near that wheel Jason was aiming and flips the car into the air, the vehicle spinning once before landing on its wheels again, but it slides to a stop as sparkes emit from the tireless part of the car.

Jason smirks as he lowers his weapon and places it back onto his back. After securing it, he pulls out his gun and walks toward the girls. He had hoped he didn't do too much damage to them. As long as they were still alive, he was fine.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Three LAW officers remained as Enlighten and Dissonance had played around with the fools. The three backs away toward their vehicles, realizing that their simple weapons would not help against these....Dragon monsters. The two gang members just simply keep laughing, watching their foes squirm to their will.

"Pathetic," Enlighten says with a grin. "You tell me that THIS is the best LAW has?"

One of the men pulls out a remote control and says into the device:"Emergency! The Samson case has reached alert status! We need reinforcements, pronto!"

The two look at each other and laugh again. "Send all your forces," Dissonance says to the three. "It will not matter if its the marines. We will kill you all!"

"Bastard!" The LAW officer runs past his two comrades and fires away at the Dragon members. Enlighten loses his smile as he zooms under the bullets, spearing the officer before grabbing him and throwing him into the air. With that, he leaps high up after his propelled foe and strikes him in the chest with a snake-strike (fingers together and palm outward). The officer spews blood as his heart is stopped and falls straight to the ground with Enlighten landing after him on his feet in a crouched position.

He started to grin again, having the two officers flee to their vehicles. As the engines are turned on, Dissonance extends her hand toward them and turns it into a fist, the roaring devices suddenly roaring at a volume that was so drastic that a sonicboom is produced, a jeep exploding with the two in it. Enlighten smirks as he raises his right forearm, revealing a guantlet on it. He says into it:"Area secured. We will commence the operation."

Beatrix Madeen looked at the destruciton around her. The car had been hit. Thankfully an explosion had not occured, or at least not yet. Beatrix bent her head around and looked at the other girls. They were fine.

"Everyone alright?", Beatrix asked.

A series of positive answers occured enough to conclude that everyone was in mint condition.

"Lets teach this punk a lesson", Beatrix unbucled her belt. The other girls did the same and slid out of the car and onto the road. Beatrix looked at the officer holding his gun in an offensive position. The girls were out and ready to kill. Beatrix nodded her head and each one of them had their guns aimed for his manhood.

"I had no idea I was so desirable", Beatrix laughed.

The man grunted.

"Still playing games?", he seemed suprised.

Beatrix smiled and took one look at her golden pistols.

"I suggest you discard your weapon before my girls shoot your pee pee", Beatrix said with a devilish grin.

He didnt move. He could shoot one of them and suceed in killing them but if he did the other girls would take revenge before he got a chance to blink. Beatrix phone began to ring. It played Engel by Remmstein.

"Excuse me", Beatrix apologised for the interuption. Flipping up her Soney Ericson D500 she put it to her ear.

"Hello?", Beatrix asked into the phone.

Strangley Wyane hadnt decide to join them.

"Uh huh....I see", Beatrix continued.

"Where?", she asked after a few seconds.

A smile came to her face.

"Is there any chance that...", Jason tried to speak.

"Shhh", Maria stopped Jason form finishing his sentence. Beatrix gave him a sour look.

"Sexellent...toodles", Beatrix said finishing the call. She then turned back to Jason.

"Now...lucky for you were needed elsewhere", Beatrix sighed.

"OH please", Jason grunted. He didnt seem to think them much of a threat. Then again he hadnt shot yet.

"Girls rendevous now", Beatrix informed them as the sound of a helicopter became clear.

Jason was the only one to look into the sky as the girls were less shocked by the copters arrival. As the copter circled around them a ladder dropped down.

"Girls....Im sorry to saw this but...your going to have to find your own way home", Beatrix tried to hold back laughter.

"Dont worry about it boss...we can handle ourselves", Maria responded still aiming at Jason.

Beatrix looked around the trashed car. She bent down and picked up her katana up. She gave one final look to Jason.

"Its a pity ill never see you again", Beatrix sighed.

"Awful", Jason said sarcastically.

"Well...you might survive.....if you do give my best regards to your lady friend", Beatrix voice became more cheerful. Clenching onto the rope the copter flew into the distance. Beatrix gave him a wave goodbye. She climbed up onto the aircraft and sighed in relief. For a second she thought it might have been the end.

"Three.... two...... one......."

*BOOM!!*

The homebase of Phoenix Triad in Tewen rocked from the intense explosion and like a well-placed stack of dominoes, it collapsed within itself and crushed the lives out of the people inside, and yet the buildings around it remained relatively unharmed. Thick smoke made its way into the open air and in the distance, sirens can be heard as the news of the explosion were immediately spread through the attentive radio system of the police and firefighters.

Perched on a sleek custom-made motorbike, a redheaded figure observed his handiwork with a smile that would have been a friendly one in normal situation, and dropped the thick blackened and smoking wires in his hands onto the ground. "Serve all you people right for defying us and taking in HIM."

With that, he got off his bike and stashed it somewhere nearby where the phoenix members and pursuers from his own organization would not find it easily. Taking with him anything he would need, he stepped out onto the streets again, and smiled serenely at the panic and chaos that ensued.

With one of his twin chakrams openly swinging in his hand, he advanced towards the not-quite-so-dead phoenixes spilling out of the recently wrecked building. "You want a war, you got it. Enyalios the god of war himself is delivering it right to your doorstep."

Jason watches as Beatrix ascends up the ladder while the three other girls had their guns pointed to his crotch area. His eyes looked at each of them from behind his shades as he analyzed the situation. These girls were really a problem, as they each stared at him, grinning and snickering.

"No where to run, Mr. Big."

Yeah, they just made a joke about him sexually, but that did not matter. He needed to do this quick and precise. He looks at one of the girls and sees her shivering, as if scared to fire at him or something. But it wasn't that. It was something else. Her expression turned to that offear before suddenly falling to her knees, the girls looking at her with a shocked expression.

"What's wrong," they see to their comrade.

Jason noticed a shine from the lamp posts glare onto a needle penetrated into her neck. So it looked like Wyane did her job. He smirks as he draws his second pistol and points it to them, the girls looking back, although their faces was mixed with anger and sadness.

"No matter who shoots me, at least two of you will go down. Now, the question is, who will the two be?"

The two look at him, still shivering, as the third suddenly collapses to the ground. "Sorry...make that two. You're under arrest." Wyane was now behind them, needles floating in the air, making the girls tear up a bit. Seeing them under control, he looks up and sees the leader getting into the copter. He smirks as he puts away his pistols and brings out his smaller, more trusty crossbow.

"Hey," the girls shout at him. "Don't...you...move!"

He continues to hold it in his hand as he loads a normal arrow and aims it up at the copter.

"Hey, don't you hear me?!"

"Shut up," Wyane says to the girl, wanting so badly to impale them with her needles. He aims upward and fires right for the bottom part. The girl immediately fires, but her bullets are slowed to a stop as Wyane now had come in.

"I told you once, little girl."

The shooter soon falls to her knees as two needles were in her neck. The other girl simply dropped her gun and fell to her knees, crying, although she wasn't hit at all.

The arrow strikes through the bottom of the copter and straight up through the controls, causing the panel the driver was using to spark and fry.

"We're going down," he yells to Beatrix, who put on a face of shock.

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Hee-ha!" The LAW jeep zooms through the street as Enlighten was driving the thing with Dissonance sitting beside him. He was grinning happily, loving the stolen vehicle. He presses more on the pedal, and goes even faster.

"Next stop...Phoenix's Tewen base."

Dissonance grins as she gains a taste to kill more people. Only a few blocks away from the place, the HQ in view, the building suddenly explodes and goes up in smoke as it descend to the ground, the two Dragon members suddenly placing shock expressions on their faces. He presses harder and goes even faster as he goes to see what's the problem.

Once they arrive, he skids to a stop, seeing the Phoenix members fleeing from the scene. The two get out of the car as Enlighten runs at two and impales them in the chest, sending them straight back toward the building as they flew through the air. Just then, their eyes catch a man walking toward it, swinging something. Upon further looking, they see him suddenly slaughter a Phoenix member, which meant he must have been a Dragon, too.

Enlighten and Dissonance runs toward the man. Enya stops as he hears some foottsteps approaching him from behind. The two stop a few feet from him as he stares at them from over his shoulder, noticing that they were not of Phoenix due to the Dragon tatoo on Enlighten's body. "Dragon..," Enya mutters to himself.

"Hey," Enlighten says to him with a smile. "You must be one of us. It's glad to see this place under control. Thought we come and give you some help here."

Beatrix had not expected this at all, in fact she had expected an escape. This was the second time in one night she was in a plane crash. If she survived this one she would be shocked.

'Why was the city under such high security? It had never been this secure before...' These were the thoughts that skimmed her mind. Beatrix was more concerned with surviving the crash. A flame burst from the control panel.

"#####", Beatrix whispered to herself. Looking aroudn she searched for a parachute. None. No such luck. Why couldnt they provide them with some safety?

Beatrix took a deep breath. She then walked to the door and pulled it open. The copter was going down. Fast. Beatrix looked around for the source. A gunshot or something. A missile Launcher for the looks of it. Then she took a glance at Jason who was holding his crossbow.

"Bitchin Fool", Beatrix street tone came out as she became angry. This night had not been a successful one. She hadnt meant for all this to happen.

"Phoenix Queen!", A Phoenix member from behidn her called to her.

"What?", Beatrix looked more serious.

"Dont forget this", He handed Beatrix her katana. This night she had ignored it a little. Her most deadly and important friend. Beatrix could always rely on its sharp blade.

"Thanks", Beatrix replied.

"Bye", Beatrix continued.

"Well see you later", he nodded at her.

Beatrix didnt know how to answer to that. Looking at the members she herself knew she was the only one who woudl survive. They would die.

"Phoenix HQ is down!", A voice form the radio screeched out. Beatrix blood boiled for a second time. She didnt have to ask them as they knew as much about it as she did. HQ was down. This was definatley turning out to be a bad night. Beatrix saluted the soldiers and jumped form the aircraft.

Her arms were spread out like an angel. An angel with a fiery aircraft following her. Beatrix grippped her katana and as she came close to a building through it at it. Holding to the rope attached to her katana she cliinged onto it with all her strength. The copter fell past her and crashed into the ground. Jason held his hand to his face protecting himself from the flames. They hadnt spotted Beatrix...yet. Her katana was dug into the wall of the building and she was holding onto the rope which hung form it with all her might. If it wasnt her clinging on for sweet life she would find this funny. Beatrix pushed her feet from the wall and banged into it again. Not working.

She looked around for a window. To her right a glowing window lay with people peering out of it. Beatrix began to run on the wall and headed for the window. Getting there she kicked it with her boot and it broke through. Gripping on the rope more tightly it released itself form the wall and followed her into the building.

Beatrix was standing in a staff room of some sort. Employees were scattered around drinking coffee. Dead giveaway.

"Wheres the elevator?", Beatrix asked.

An old looking blad man pointed to a door. Beatrix nodded. Walking out of the staffroom she looked up and down the corridor. The elevator was shortly down the hall. Walking down it she pressed on the button and patiently waited for tit to arrive. The doors opened. Beatrix walked in katana in her hand and began to whistle.

It had definatley turned out to be an eventful night. She blessed herself.

"One of you?" Enya tilted his head to lean on his own shoulder with a smile, allowing his chakrams to rest in his hand for the moment. "Is it an enemy of your enemy is your ally kind or a Dragon member kind?"

Dissonance frowned. "You mean you're not a Dragon?"

"Nope. My loyalty lies elsewhere, but tonight, and many nights until I get to my prey, all these little birdies are my enemies." Enya answered with a brilliant smile that had his eyes moved into a half-moon shape as he motioned to the fleeing figures around them. "So... have you decided to join forces against a common enemy, or will you obstruct me?"

----------------

"The Phoenix base in Tewen is destroyed?"

"Yup. Our contact there says that it went down with a splendid loud noise worthy of a volcanic eruption." The man sprawled on the couch pushed himself up before he continue, and in a mysterious tone. "And did you know who he saw?"

The one contributing to the other half of the conversation frowned suspiciously at him before he rolled his eyes skywards and sighed. "Tell me it's not that little imp."

"Bingo! Hahaha... I taught him too well, that one. He'll one day be greater than Mount Everest!"

"Hush, druggie. Don't you remember he is not included in the Tewen mission and disappeared to do it anyway? He's going to be in trouble."

"Oh yea... right. But what done is done and he's not giving us too much problems is he? The ones who will have problems will be those poor little bastards out there in Tewen. Serve them right for going at it again... after all my efforts..." The lazing man gave a dramatic sigh.

His companion's tone, however, was dead serious. "I'll contact LAW and proceed with the deal, even if it is way before schedule. Meanwhile... can you ask Moros to keep Enya out of further trouble?"

The man on the couch frowned. "Nyx's man? Well, he is better than the Keres at least. Only she can keep them on their leashes. He's in Tewen?"

"If he's not, he will be, thanks to Enya." A short pause, and the other continued with a thoughtful hint in his voice. "Just in case, alert all of the others in the area to be on the watchout, that is, if they haven't notice Enya's fireworks. Even those of the other branches."

"That little bastard is giving us quite a lot of work, eh?"

"Like you said, you taught him too well."

"Was I this much trouble, Phobos?"

"You should know it damn well, Deimos."

Beatrix sighed again. Her breathing was heavy. Obviously the crash had hurt her lungs, or something in that area she wasnt a registered doctor or anything. The elevator was like a mirror. Everywhere she looked she saw her own reflection looking back. Fancy. It beeped and the doors opened. Beatrix thought it strange nobody had joined her but was also relieved as she needed some peace before it started again. She was finding it quite difficult to escape the action of the night.

The entrance hall was packed with employees. Beatrix walked to the door with confidence. If she showed anything else she would be in trouble. Realising her katana was still in her hand she wondered how nobody had bothered to say anything about it. No security whatsoever. Security Guard Public Holdiay maybe?

Beatrix walked onto the cold street again. She found it hard to believe the base had been destroyed. Looking aorudn she only saw the destruction of the aircraft. Jason and his friend were nowhere to be seen. Hopefully they ha dmuch more important things to deal with all Beatrix wanted to do now was chill. She took a few steps away form the destruciton and where she had last seen Jason and headed down an alleyway. Alleyways, useful for so many things. Hiding being one of the main ones. Beatrix looked around for some vehicle to escape in.

She put her hand to the wall. It had caught up on her. She had let them all go to the dogs. Her girls were gone. Sweet Lilas face was just a memory in her mind.

"I hate you all!", Beatrix shouted at the top of her voice. She would regret that later. She got herself to gether and began running down the alley hoping to find an escape. A rendevous.

Jason watched as Beatrix's copter went down, the flames dancing in the images of his shades before exploding, the officer having to place his arm as cover from the great heat produced from them. He looks back at it and shakes his head before Wyane points upward toward the lady still caught onto a building. Once she broke inside, Jason says to Wyane:"Take those three back to your jeep. I'll have their daring leader join them soon."

He runs into the building, passing through the doors. He walks into the lobby that was busy with people and simply made his way along the walls as to not cause them to go into panic. As he walked, heis eyes caught his culprit walking through the crowd, following her movement out the door. He jogs after her through the crowd, not his presence awared and runs out the door. She was gone. He looked around, wondering where she went into he heard a scream saying:"I hate you all!!"

Jason smirked as he jogged over to the source and peeks around the alley, seeing her now running. He chases after her, secretly, an arrow now ready. Beatrix finds herself in another alley that was perpendicular to the one she just left and looks left and right, trying to decide which direction to run to.

"Freeze," Jason says from behind, just a few feet from her with his crossbow aimed and ready. "Surrender yourself or you will face force."

Beatrix looked shock at first, but puts on a smirk as she turns to face him, her katana tapping at the boots upon her feet.

"So, you've come all this way just to get me," the girl says jokingly. "If you wanted me so badly, all you had to do was ask."

Jason replies, not having a hint of joking in him:"Yes, I did. I came to arrest you, that is. You've commited a great crime tonight and must be put away. People like you make this city already as dangerous as it is."

Beatrix grins even more. "You think you have what it takes to take down little ole me?"

"I have more than that, but first, I need to know. What is the Phoenix and Dragon clans up to? Why do they start to war at each other now?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enlighten and Dissonance lost a little interest in this guy now, seeing he wasn't an ally, yet he was doing what they did best. Killing Phoenixes. They smirked as Enlighten replies:"Yeah, we'll join ya in this fun. But don't expect any help from us if you get into trouble."

Enya looks away and responds:"Trust me, I won't need it." The man swings hios string in his hand as he turns away, the two Dragons smirking as they spread out, to take on a Pheonix on each side. Enlighten runs at three, who draw their guns and fire at him. He ducks and grabs bulltes, crushing them prior to getting to them and striking each in major jointed areas, having their bodies fall to limp upon the ground. Dissonance extends her palm out toward a group of six as she used their running footsteps to send them crying to the ground as the noise overwhelms their ears. She smirked, laughing out as she continued to use her power on every living Phoenix member. And if it was a bystander, shame for them.
Seluna
"Trust me, I won't need it." Enya grinned his answer even as he strided away, both of his chakrams making wide arcs as he swung them from their cord leisurely. With Enlighten and Dissonance clearing the area of Phoenixes, Enya was able to pause to put on his gloves. He would need them, if he was lucky enough to find HIM.

Quickening his steps, he brought himself away from where the two Dragons were wrecking havoc. He was able to freeze the air in close proximity to his ears to avoid being affected by Dissonance's ability but it was still quite a nuisance and not to mention draining. Now that he was away from them, he could do what he want without problems.

Now bringing the cord to spin at a higher speed, he advanced towards the Phoenixes and started his own massacre as he made his way to the direction where many had taken off to.

Beatrix smiled.

"I like a man who gets straight ot the point", Beatrix responded not allowing herself to reveal any information.

"I hope your as optimistic in prison", Jason didnt mean what he said but he needed to say something ot keep Beatrix talking.

"Prison....hmphhh", Beatrix grunted. Prison wasnt on her list.

"Tell me about the gangs...why are they fighting?", Jason looked more seriously.

"Fighting? This isnt a fight...this is a war.....its been a war for so long now...", Beatrix mummbled on. Her tone go tlower and lower until Jason couldnt hear her.

"You dont make much sense", Jason was a little annoyed he wasnt getting answers, but he had to start somewhere.

"Why should I tell you anything? As you said...im doomed for prison", Beatrix joked about trying to get one last laugh out of this man.

"Might as well go down doing some good", Jason said without any effort. It seemed the words just rolled from his tounge with ease.

"If I told you anything I'd be dead...anyway you killed my girls", Beatrix explained her predicament as well as the situation they had put her in.

"Thats your own fault", Jason made it short and simple and to the point.

Beatrix laughed.

"You guys....all the same...dont know a damn f*cking thing", Beatrix stated her opinion. These sort of people and her were on different sides. They woudl never be friends. Although Beatrix thought deep down they were the same.

"Do me a favor and", Jason began but was interupted by Beatrix's phone ringing.

"Sorry", Beatrix aplogized and took out her cell.

"Hello", Beatrix said in a frankly bored voice.

"I found out...radio"....awhhhhhhhhhh, Beatrix continued.

Jason rolled his eyes a little sick of her mobile conversations.

"moi?........Im having a little trouble...the girls?", Beatrix looked to the groudn then to the sky.

"They didnt make it", Beatrix explained trying to be sympathatic.

Beatrix turned the call off and reverted her attention to Jason.

"Lilas Daughter just said her first word", Beatrix tried to hide her emotions. Jason didnt seem to show any feeling. She wished she was like that 24/7.

"Ive got to....", Beatrix gripped her katana more tightly.

"You b*tch!", She screamed and began running at Jason her katana held high.

Kaito sat on the edge of his balcony. //It’s quiet… The first silence I’ve heard in some time. It’s a shame this peace won’t last long.//

In the distance, a small cloud of smoke gathered above the roof-tops. //Well, I must say this happened sooner than I expected.//

It didn’t really matter that he couldn’t sense who did it. Kaito knew who did it.

//Enya, you always were one to disobey orders… Damn it. Dragging me back to work, the little punk. Phoenix is going to have me investigate this.//

//And Yuri…// Kaito glanced at the naginata leaning against the door. The thin halberd, thick with green paint, carried a dragon - spiraling from the base to the blade. //I won’t be around forever to protect her… If that day ever comes, I just hope Deimos-san will take her in… as he did me.//

Again, it wasn’t as if he liked her, per se. Truthfully, he felt it as an obligation. First, she managed to escape Dragon. Then, the Phoenix pimp gave her a wonderful alternatives: become a whore and her family would be protected or refuse. Of course, she couldn’t refuse; the Phoenix pimp has carried with him an infamous brutality.

Then came Beatrix, and he hated her even more that her predecessor. Cocky, arrogant, heartless, all nicely bundled into one package. Kaito could only smile when Beatrix and her little cult were given mission after mission to rob banks - phoenix’ banks. Upper level members thought of her as… a liability, after all. Of course, no one would tell her this. The only fact keeping Kaito from slowly pleasuring himself in her pain was that he was able to buy the young girl with some money and a rather elegant katana.

Knowing his young apprentice would barge into his room, Kaito left a small note on the table:

Yuri,
I don’t mean to worry you by my absence. Something happened to the base inside Tewen, and I am going to investigate. Also, you might want to check by my balcony entrance. You might find something of value to you.

P.S.: Please don’t follow me, Yuri-chan. I don’t want you to get involved with this.

-Kaito

Each weapon was then placed in it’s respective position on his body: shuriken, laced with a quick acting toxin, in their container, fukiya needles in their specially designed container, the bow hung around his front, and the arrows and wakizashi hung around his back. //I hope this doesn’t come to anything drastic.//

It took a matter of minutes for Kaito to reach his black jeep wrangler.
He hated the contraptions, but they worked well for speed. It did not take long before Kaito was speeding toward the patch of rubble. In a matter of minutes, Kaito reached the vicinity of his destination. Kaito managed to find a spot to park his car a small distance away.

//Three chakra: two unknown, and Enya. Enya actually seems to have more control, so I may just watch for now//
~~
“Kaito-san,” Yuri slid the door open and stepped into the room without a thought.

//Oh, what’s this?//

‘Please don’t follow me, Yuri-chan.’

Yuri fumbled, opening and closing her tessen. //Must I really follow Kaito-san’s orders?// Yuri could only help but sigh at this thought. Headquarters didn’t seem like home when Kaito wasn’t there…

Having cleared all the worthless Phoenixes out of the way quickly, Enya let his chakrams swing leisurely in front of him as he approached the two mid-level gang members who were cowering together at the end of an alley. They were targetted and left alive for information, and now, he was going to get what he want, by hook or by crook.

They pulled out a couple of hand-guns with shaking hands, since they were cornered and could not make their escape earlier as their getaway vehicle had exploded after Enya shot a lightning bolt at it while touching a lamp-post. When the Hades runaway graced them with a menacingly friendly smile, one accidently fired a shot in fright.

Calmly stepping away from the path of the bullet before continuing towards them slowly, Enya smirked, a full replication of his telepathic mentor's usual expression. The other Phoenix's eyes widened and paled quickly, and the grip on his guns tightened.

Noticing the man's reaction, the redhead stopped and gave him a wide psychotic grin that had also often touched said mentor's face. "Yes? Do you have something to tell me?"

"D-Do you know somebody... somebody called Deimos?" After several gulps, the trembling man finally managed to put a sentence together.

"Hmm..." Enya casually reined in his cord and let the chakrams swing idlly by themselves. "Gee, I'm not sure. Tell me what you know about this guy and I'll think about it."

The man's eyes brightened and he spoke as if his life depended on it. "Deimos was a high-level Phoenix member before he disappeared during the first war, before some organization called Hades took over us. Some said he was killed, while others say he defected. He always wears black and a trenchcoat, and uses a black scythe. He has blue hair with silver streaks and eyes blue and cold like ice..."

"Like this?" Enya asked with a smile that did not reach his eyes, which were freezing like green ice chips.

The man turned sheet-white. "Yes! Yes, just like that! S-Sir... d-do you know him?"

"What if I say I do?" The glacial look vanishing in an instant, Enya gave him a warm smile and curved his eyes into pretty crescents. "That I do know this person you call Deimos and that he is a close acquaintance?"

The man who fired his gun by accident burst out before the other could speak. "Then why are you killing Phoenix members? Together with Deimos, you should be with us! Working together under Dolos's guidance, towards a future without the Dragons and where we rule the underworld!"

"Oh...?" Enya's voice became dangerously soft, though its undertone was lost to the excitable man. "So I should be with you. And who is this Dolos person?"

Bolden by Enya's interested response, the Phoenix waved his gun about as he gestured and said, "He was part of Hades, but he helped us to escape from its foul control and made us stronger than we were. He is our new leader's right-hand man and our main strategist. Most of us second level officials are loyal to Dolos, we will follow him wherever he will lead us."

"I am sure he appreciates that sentiment. He sounds like an most interesting person." Enya responded with a thoughtful expression. "But you missed out a few things. He is a conniving little bastard who will not hesitate to backstab or sacrifice anyone just to gain more power, especially little useless subordinates like you."

"You! How dare you insult Dolos?! I'll kill you!!" Infuriated, the man fired off a few shots at Enya who laughed gaily as he easily stepped out of the way. They continued that way until the gun ran out of bullets, and the man stared at it dumbly.

Enya stroked the cord in his hand with a cold smile before he sped towards the man and whispered right into his ear before the poor Phoenix knew what was happening. "My turn now, dumbass. And thank you for talking. You were so helpful."

With that and a quick move of his hands, he wrapped the wire around the man's neck and sliced it off neatly. Then without paying any further attention to the very dead person, he turned to the other other Phoenix, who was staring at the decapitated head in something akin to hysteria.

"Tell me everything you know about Dolos, or you'll join your friend there." Enya smiled. "By the way, Deimos is my mentor. And we are both Hades assassins. And we absolutely adored the way Phoenix broke away from us."

Beatrix stopped in her tracks. Not because she had been attacked but because she realised it was pointless. There was so much more she had to do. She quickly planned out her next couple of moves.

"Frightened?” She giggled. It was of course a rhetorical question.

"Not particularly", Jason replied.

Beatrix had things to do. Her stature in the Phoenix Triads was heavily relied upon. Its huge income came form her dirty business, but someone had to do it.

"Toddles", Beatrix waved beginning to walk away.

"Stop now!", He shouted. Beatrix heard his gun. If he pulled the trigger even the slightest bit more she was shot, most likely anyway. Beatrix quickly turned around her hair flying in every direction.

"Why cants you just leave me alone?” Beatrix was annoyed by his constant orders.

"Call me an unsatisfied customer", he smiled.

"There’s a first for everything I guess", Beatrix responded.

Beatrix couldn’t remember another time in her life she had found herself in such a position. It seemed this night could be her downfall. This man, that woman…it was all getting a little too risky. Beatrix liked the wild side above all other things but knew when she had pushed her luck.

“Drop your weapons and put your hands on your head”, Jason ordered without any real emotion. He didn’t care about Beatrix’s fate. Almost nobody cared about the unfortunate Beatrix Madeen. However eventually if things turned out the way she wanted they would all be kneeling to her.

“No”, Beatrix answered. Then she put on a face of shock. One which was out of the ordinary. Then she lifted a hand and pointed behind Jason. He immediately turned around ready to shoot. Nothing was there. By the time he had turned around Beatrix had already began running. A shot fired at the ground but luckily as if miraculously it had missed her.

“Get back here now!” He shouted at the top of his lungs. Beatrix on the other hand had no intention of going anywhere with him, at least until he paid her price. A few more bullets were fired but before they came near her she had turned around a corner. She looked around slowly. Taking in everything. It was a dead end. There was a bin. Beatrix jumped onto the steel bin trying not to slip and quickly pulled herself onto the one story roof. Jason was behind her and had already fired. Luckily it seemed he was out of bullets. He began loading his weapon again.

Without a break Beatrix kept moving. The roof had a door that led downstairs. Beatrix quickly pulled on the handle. It was locked. She then lifted her boot and kicked as hard as she could. The handle broke and after twisting the doors insides about it opened. Beatrix ran down the steps and tripped. She landed on her legs and was in some pain but didn’t have time to worry. Looking around again taking the environment in she realised she was in a library. How wonderful. If she had time maybe she would sit down and have a read at her beloved comrade Charlotte Bronte. Unfortunately Beatrix didn’t have time. She could hear Jason moving about. He had caught onto her. After all a wide open door was a dead giveaway. Beatrix ran towards the windows and readied her gun and fired without hesitation. The glass broke around. Regrettably some of the glass had hit her right arm and she was bleeding a little.

Beatrix walked out through the open window and saw a motorbike. How accommodating it looked to her lonely eyes. Quickly sitting on it she got out her faithful hairclip and made short work of the baby. Beatrix had to get back to HQ quickly and away from these newfound enemies even faster. Beatrix shot off into the expanse so fast she was certain Jason couldn’t do his fancy trick with his arrows. If the HQ was in a dilemma Beatrix had to help. It was her responsibility as a Phoenix Member.

"Take those three back to your jeep. I'll have their daring leader join them soon." Jason told Wyane and ran into the building, leaving Wyane to take care of the said three but she realized there is a problem.

My jeep? Do I even have a jeep? Wyane thought and tried to recall whether or not did she really have a jeep but came to a conclusion that she came out in the night walking so even if she really did have one, it is of no use now. So where should the three be taken to?

Wyane thought for a few moments and came up with a few options. After a few seconds of more thinking, Wyane decided Jason’s jeep or just any LAW officer’s jeep since her apartment wouldn’t do as Jason don’t know where it is and other options are just way too impossible.

Must be the fantasy books I read recently… Wyane thought and shook her head. She use her powers to float the three up a few inches above the ground and begin to walk and float them back to the bar where she first saw Jason as she figured that she may find his jeep somewhere around there.

Jason runs into the room Beatrix had entered into, only to find her jump out of a shattered window. He runs over to it, putting his gun away as he pulls out his smaller crossbow and aims outward, only to find her already speeding off. He aims, attempting to get ahit off of her, but he stops as even he would have a hard time getting a direct hit. He shows his teeth, disappointed that she was now away from him. But at least he wouldn't have to kill any of them. He sighs as he puts his weapon away and walks away, making his way down to the street by use of the stairs.

He exits out of the doors and makes his way back to where he parked his vehicle, having to backtrack where he pursued her from this place. He looks around a bit and finds that he was now in the Federick district, SE of the bank that was attacked by that woman. This wasn't a freiendly part of the town. It was filled with smal gangs and roughnecks who felt that trashing things and the like was more enjoyable than living a good clean life, ther oppression evident by the spray paint on the walls and stripped vehicles. This city truly was a mess if one took a chance to look at it.

Jason turns before hearing some ruffling behind him. He turns and sees nothing. Only a few pieces of paper wisping across the street by the calm breeze. He turns away, yet hears the noise again, this time drawing his gun and pivoting around, aiming. Unfortunately and fortunately, nothing was there. "I got to stop thinking like that," Jason says as he puts away his gun.

His stops in movement as he hears a low growling sound from behind him. A sweat goes down his face as he slowly looks over his shoulder and sees a fox growling at him, its eyes glowing red and its tail straight, indicating it was ready to attack. Another growling sound is heard in front of him. He looks forward and there was now a bear, its teeth showing with small foamage in between.

"What the hell..." Jason says to himself.

A few feet behind thebear was now a group of men, about ten who were smiling with their hands in their pockets. And looking at the designs of dragons upon their clothing, it surely meant that they were Dragons.

"Well, well, well," the front man says, obviously the leader. "Looks like we have ourselves a LAW officer. Isn't this a lucky day. We were going to slaughter the Phoenixes, but maybe we should show that stupid police force not to mess with us, too."

The fox suddenly transforms into a woman with long red hair as she pulls out a knife and places it against Jason's back.

"Move and I'll 'backstab,' " she says to him.

The bear transforms itself, but turns into a midget, who was seemingly buff, yet had that rough look to him. Jason was just as amazed.

"What are we going to do to him," the bear shapeshifter asks.

The leader places his hand on his spiky standing hair and replies:"Maybe cut him into pieces and feed him to the sharks?"

They all laugh, yet the woman behind him kept her frown, as if she had something against him.

Enlighten tosses a dead Phoenix onto the pile he and his partner made of them after disposing of him in a fun matter: cutting off his air with the destruction of his neck. He grins eviliy as Dissonance looks around, making sure no more was present.

"Well, I feel spoiled," Enlighten says. "After so mauch fun, I want more!"

"We'll get some, soon," Dissonance says. "For now, let us report to HQ of our sucess so far."

"Right."

The two walk back over to the jeep, opening the door as they get in when suddenly a shot goes off, a bullet wound now going through Enlighten's right arm as he falls to the ground, grabbing it. "What the hell?!"

Dissonance looks back, where she heard the shot, and finds a no one. "A sniper," she says, running over to Enlighten and picking him up. "We got a long shooter on our hands."

"You think," he replies, letting go of his bloody arm and looking the direction of the shot. "Damn! Where the hell is he?"

"Or her," Dissonance says immediately after, walking forward a bit as she closes her eyes. Being a audiokinetic, she could read the very sound oaths of a traveling wave. And that fired shot left a small trace of it own. Dissonance opens her eyes and says with a shocked expression:"Someone shot us from 300 meters away!"

"Impossible," Enlighten replies. "Where?"

"From that skyscraper," she says, pointing to one that said "Rezo-Co" on it. "The fifth set of windows down."

"Great," he says. "Looks like they had this place scoped out all along."

Another sniper aims at Enya from the same distance as he has shot of the man in plan view. He was wielding a strange weapon that was glowing purple withing glass chambers along its side. I seemed the gun was empowered by them due to its neon glow. The sniper aims and fires right at him.

Dissonance's ears catch it before hand and says:"That sniper is attacking again....but we're not the target!"

The bullet shoots straight for Enya's back.

Beatrix's hair was out of control and blwing everywhere due to the high speed she was traveling. If the cops in this city werent rouge she would have to worry about the speed she was driving. If she crashed into something it would surley be her end. Legally she had only got her drivers pass a short while ago but she had started driving many years ago. Beatrix had taught herself.

Beatrix thought of Wyane. She hadnt met someone like her for quite some time. Jason was also proving problematic. Hopefully she wouldnt run into them again. Next time Beatrix would be prepared. If the chopter hadnt lost control and crashed they might've got back to HQ before it had been destroyed, maybe she could've saved it.

No matter Beatrix had to check things out. She read a sign. It would only take her a short time now. She readied her katana and guns.

Enya was in a damn good mood after he squeezed the information about Dolos out of the poor Phoenix who was now unconscious in some inconspicious corner. Combing through his firey hair, he whistled as he made his way towards where Dolos was last said to be in.

As he was turning a corner, he thought he saw a flash of a familiar face and stopped. Frowning, he cocked his head and wondered if it was possible, and whether that was the cause of the sudden flaring of his instinct alarms. Then he saw the face appear of a fraction of a second again and took a few step forward in that direction to chase it, and it was then when he felt a sharp pain flare from his left arm.

He stared at the bullet wound with a look of shock and confusion, then it all melted away from his face after a few moments, leaving it cold and displeased. The young Hades assassin lifted his right hand to the wound and a clear misting crystal formed at the bloody hole and spread outwards, freezing everythng in the small infected area in place.

Glittering golden eyes were narrow when he raised his right hand towards a clutter of cables of a block nearest to him, and electic current so strong that it glowed blue like lightning flowed towards and around Enya until the whole building blacked out, forming a dense electric shield surrounding him entirely.

He then turned towards where he guessed was the general area of the sniper and smiled chillingly as he whispered. "Well, if you want to do things this way, I shall to."
Vex Core
The sniper on the rooftop loads another bullet as he aims back at his foe, an eye wide open through blue-shaded visors, his vision zoomed in right on Enya. He looks to see some sort of shield forming around the man, which makes the man sneer through his teeth. He switches out the clip and places in another one, this one brimmed with red lining. Once in , he aims right at Enya again, but smiles as he fires the new bullet straight for him, the ammo spinning as it started to come at him.

Enya's eyes narrow as he catches the bullet making its way to him, but stays still to see if his shield would have any effect. The projectiles hits into it, and struggles against it, its head piercing the field a bit. Enya looked on, seeing if the thing would get through.

The sniper smirks as he watches his bullet still trying to go in before the bullet glows and explodes in a white light. Yet the field was still intact. Enya looked on, wondering what that all was about. The sniper just grins as he says to himself:"If that bullet had gotten through, you would have been dead, young man."

A cellphone goes off, having him pick it up. "Hello?"

"Yes, I am here right now."

"No, no, no, it will be no problem. Just handling some Dragons. I'll take care of the target after I finish with these people."

"Yes, LAW is going to be surprised once their high chief gets killed."

He cuts communication and stands to his feet. "I'll deal with you later." He turns and makes his way to the other side of the building. His mission was to kill thei chief, who would be in his office 500 feet away in the LAW HQ building. Of course, this wouldn't be a problem for the Phoenix master sniper, Jevadite.
Seluna
A slim red brow lifted slightly as no more bullets had impacted his shield after the last one exploded against it. Enya contemplated waiting for a little while more but he decided against it, feeling that it would be worthless. But still, he did not let down his guard as he held out a hand and a majority of the electric shield snaked towards it, leaving a thin nearly invisible barrier and the air around Enya cackling with static electricity from the amount of it he absorbed.

A smile then slowly crept onto his lips as he made his way further towards his destination, where he thought would at least provide some clues to Dolos's location, even if not the man itself. The smile changed into a grin and the cold demeanor that took over when he was shot melted away, leaving the normal mercurial Enyalios.

It was when he stepped into an intersection between the roads when his expression abruptly changed and following his gut feeling, he took off in another direction with a strange frown on his face. It was when he reached the vicinity of the Phoenix base he had bombed earlier when he realized what had triggered off his alarm.

"How nice seeing you here, Kaito. I was still wondering why you left us as well, when we had so much fun studying together." Enya smiled coldly at silver haired and black clad figure standing some way from the smoking wreckage and near a jeep, his golden eyes chilling. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now."

"You've improved," Kaito couldn't help but smirk as the icy light set ablaze crimson eyes. The hood was once again drawn over the eyes, removing the being from sight. Even through the shadows, usual formalities were exchanged.

"So I was right."

//I wonder...//

"You can relax at least a little now, Jevadite is gone."

"I take it Jevadite was the sniper. Kaito, what aren't you telling me?"

"Today I was able to intercept an order to assasinate the high chief of LAW. Jevadite is the only person skilled enough to get the job done quickly, easily. Use the information as you wish. As much as your little stunt has caused me trouble, I'd rather not see Jevadite succeed. If you are coming, I have a Jeep parked nearby."

He is also heavily influenced by Deimos, but does not appear to be nearly as psychotic than my favorite druggie.]

"What are you up to?" Enya's face was expressionless, but suspicion was apparent in his golden eyes. "Why tell me all this?"

Kaito did not pause as he continued walking towards his jeep. "I would rather not waste time fighting you, Enya. Like I said, I would rather not see the high chief of LAW dead."

Enya frowned slightly, then his face returned to being emotionless even as the thin electric shield around him was absorbed into him again and he followed Kaito towards the vehicle. "I will help. Phobos has plans with LAW and he wouldn't like to be foiled."

Kaito did pause now. "Suit yourself."

"Always." Enya's reply was short but there was a hint of a smile behind his tone. It would not be long before the Hades redhead broke away from his serious mode.

"I will help you. Phobos has plans with LAW and he wouldn't like to be foiled."

//I really have been gone from Hades for too long. It's a shame... I would have stayed longer if Deimos hadn't ordered me back. I wonder though... what does Phobos-san have planned for LAW?//

"Suit yourself."

"Always."

"Tell me, have you ever met my pupil?" Kaito placed a little more emphasis on my than he would have like to.

"No, but I have managed to overhear some rumors."

//Yuri, I specifically told you not to come here.//

"I assure you; they are all false."

"Oh really? you haven't even heard what they are yet." Even without looking at him, Kaito could match "that" tone with "that" smirk.

At precisely that moment, a red Volkswagen BMW churned to a halt. As the door opened, a young kunoichi, clad in tight black stepped from the car. The naginata was then fastened to her back.

"Step away from Kaito-san, Dragon!"

Enya's smirk only widened.

"Yuri-chan, I don't want to hear another word from you if you want to come with us."

The car silently unlocked itself as Kaito touched the door handle. It helped to have a few modifications. Kaito quickly seated himself in the driver's seat and motioned the company to enter as well. That acheived, Kaito turned the machine on and hit the gas.

"If I remember correctly, it only takes him five minutes to prepare. Let's go. Oh and Enya, if you hurt her, I will kill you." For the first time today, Kaito was smirking.

//It's about time that she learned everything, especially since I'm not sure I'll get away with this.//

"I would like to see you try," came Enya's response.

(OOC: once again, Vex, Seluna-san, if i did anything wrong, please tell me, and i'll fix it as soon as possible. also, you used Kaito perfectly ^^)
Seluna
[OOC: It's perfectly alright, rean.]

"I would like to see you try," Enya replied with a brilliant sunny smile and sounded teasing but had the undertone of challenge, earning a glare from the kunoichi. Childishly, he stuck his tongue out at her and grinned at the reaction she made.

When Kaito did not respond, he shrugged and made himself comfortable on the passenger seat of the jeep. "Just to rest your poor caring mind, I'll sit right beside you so that you can keep your eyes... no, one eye... on me. I would hate to be in a car crash."

Kaito raised an eyebrow at him then turned back to the road, manuevering around the wreckage and a nosy gathering crowd. By some luck (likely not the Phoenix's), all the fighting had ceased by then and the police patrols were just reaching, so there were no commotions and they broke free of the area without any trouble.

After a few quiet moments during which Kaito was concentrating on violating the speed limit whenever possible, Enya suddenly spoke up. "Ne Kaito... she's Japanese too."

"So?" The silver-haired ninja made a sharp turn that probably left tire marks on the ground. "Feeling nostalgic?"

Enya twiddled with his watch, repeatedly pulling the wire out of it and letting it snap back. "Kinda. Seeing you two reminds me of my parents and Kaoru-chan. And all those lovely Japanese girls with short skirts and lovely figures. Hmm... I wonder how your Yuri-chan looks underneath all that tight black..."

Kaito and Yuri simultaneously aimed two 'think-and-die' glares at the Hades assassin, and he laughed gaily. "Just joking! Geez, you have a serious serious complex there, Kaito-kun. Besides, I'm more interested in making Dolos wish his father has never even seen his mum, that bastard. So don't worry, I'll keep my paws to myself."

Beatrix slammed her foot down on the brake and lowered the acceleration. The reason Beatrix had stopped was because she had reached her destination. The HQ was gone. Beatrix gasped in awh.

"What the?", she whispered to herself trying to take the scene in.

It had been too late.

Vaerious thoughts went through Beatrix's mind. 'Was this all her fault? Was the reason the HQ had been destroyed because of the actions tonight?' Beatrix shook her head trying to rub the thoughts off, she needed to check it out.

Again putting a foot on the pedal she spinned aorund the corner. Yet again Beatrix stopped. A group were standing. They seemed occupied. At first Beatrix couldnt recognise any of them which was strange as she knew quite alot of people. They looked to be a violent lot. One of them caught her eye. Something about him rang a bell. Beatrix kicked the stand on and got off the bike and began walking towards them.

They turned their heads around and took a long gaze at her. Although she didnt know them it was obvious to Beatrix they most likley knew her. Anyone who was anyone knew her. 'The Phoenix Queen', Pimp extrodinaire. The thought made her laugh.

"What seems to be going on here?", Beatrix asked trying to get an answer fast. However ussually in these situations answers didnt come quickly.

Jason's wrists were now tied behind his back as he is lead through a dark alley by the ruthless bunch that amushed him. With that fox lady holding his hands, that midget stayed in front, walking with the other men, who surrounded him to make sure he wouldn't escape. The leader was just looking over his shoulder occasionally at the LAW officer, intrigued by his presence, as if he had been visited by Santa Claus or something.

He says to the lieutenant:"You amaze me, sir, how you can stand there and not be scared of us. We can easily kill you now, if it weren't for the orders of our commander."

"And who would that be," Jason asks, looking down again at his empty holsters. That little guy was carrying all his stuff surprisngly, yet wasn't slowed down. And worn on the fox girl's back was his giant crossbow. They ,ade sure he had no way of attacking back, and they were fortunate he didn't.

They stop at a door, red and withered, making it more of a burgony color, before the leader knocks on it and shouts:"It's Killa! Let me in!"

The door creaks open and the man walks in, followed by Jason, and finally the others, the door shutting and a few locks being heard. The LAW officer now stood in complete darkness as he looked around, wondering what was happening. It didn't help either with him wearing his shades. A laugh is heard in front of him before the lights begin to come on one by one, revealing the place as a warehouse with stacked boxes and crates everywhere, looking as pillars that created aisles and main walkways. In front of him, his eyes widen as he finds himself surrounded by even more Dragon members, all lining the walkways above and leaning against the walls and pillar. He looks left to right, seeing both young people and old, all with ruthless expressions....as if their eyes and soul showed no humanity.

The spiked haired one known as Killa walks forward, chuckling as he spins around with his arms out to face Jason, saying to him:"Welcome to our little hangout! As you see, we have been more than prepared to start this fight against those pathetic Phoenix. These crates are packed with as much weaponry than the Army itself, and we are more than capable to start our own world war." He laughs along with a few others. "But, we have only one main goal: to destroy those bastards and finally show them who's the strongest."

Jason scoffs:"Why would it matter? You all will die just to feed a pride that those worthless Dragon lords have wanted!"

"Pride? This has nothing to do with pride," he exclaims, still grinning. "This is about finally giving us the recognition we deserve!"

"Same thing," Jason mutters.

"It doesn't matter because they are not the only ones going down. LAW...you guys think you're going to stop us? Heh, we're not going to allow you officers to ruin this fun. It'll make our preparations worthless, and that is something we cannot afford."

Jason smirks:"You'll be surprised what we can do. Don't think you or Phoenix are going to get away with destroying Tewen. Trust me....LAW will stop you."

"I will like to see you guys try! And to make an example, we're going to rid you of your life!"

He snaps his fingers and a Dragon walks over, handing him a pistol. Killa nods in thanks and twirls the gun around a few times, showing his mastery at gunslinging before aiming forward at Jason's head. "Goodbye."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jevadite anchors his sniper rifle on stands as he kneels down and looks at his watch. "Two minutes," he says, loading in the ammo and readying himself for the assassination. He looks forward, his eyes widening and his view zooming in naturally as he looks into the Chief's office, all the way up on the last floor. He smirks as he sits there and waits.

The door opening causes Javadite to become excited until he sees it's only a janitor. Oh, how much he wanted to kill that man for startling him like that, but he knew he couldn't...not now. This bullet was meant for the head man himself, and no one else. He looks through again, seeing the man leave until the CHief finally walks in, placing a few documents on the desk before sitting into his grand chair.

Javadite licks his lips as he aims and prepares to fire. "Heheh....such sweet sorrow to part a soul from this world, isn't it?"

His finger slowly pulls back on the trigger.....

No gunshot rang out in the warehouse, but a sharp 'oof' followed by the clatter of a gun colliding against the ground did and silence reigned in its wake. The group of Dragons stared at the white figure who had dropped from the ceiling and onto the gun, causing it to drop from the spikey-haired man's grip.

"Hi, Jason-san!" the said figure waved cheerfully at the captive, totally ignoring the group who stared at her incredulously.

"Don't you ignore us dammit!" Killa exclaimed in annoyance, glaring daggers at the girl.

"Heh..? Who are you?" the albino asked, finally shifting her attention to the Dragon member, as though it was the first time she had noticed him.

Killa sputtered in his rage.

"Doesn't matter." the girl declared cheerfully, her face twisting into a large grin. "I just wanted to know how you can shapeshift ne?"

"You remember what I told you when we left the apartment, right?" Chloe Talbot, age 23 and a Phoenix member, yawned as she followed her ex-neighbour and current housemate down the street, which was strangely deserted except for the duo.

"I will not attack any members of any alliance until I confirm that they are a threat to us and I will be civil to them until they prove to be an enemy rather than an ally." the man droned reluctantly.

"And if you do not obey our contract rules?"

"You will be rid of me within fifteen minutes and will not see me again." was the man's reply.

"Very well." Chloe said, running her hand down her neck-length hair which had been dyed purple at the current moment. "Where's that restaurant you were talking about?"

"Just round that corner." the man pointed at a section of charred buildings.

"It's been destroyed, Cadence." Chloe sighed, then jerked her head up as she caught a whiff of a familiar odour. "Gun powder... This place had been blown up not too long ago. We better alert the twins."

"What for?" Cadence asked.

"Because they would want to know that their source of food has been blown up." Chloe replied and added as she strode off. "I'll tell them to add this to their list of things to avenge."

"So don't worry, I'll keep my paws to myself."

"Believe me, I don't have to worry about that," Kaito chuckled slightly. "She may look innocent, but I'd advise that you don't underestimating her. I did train her after all.

"Enya, do you trust me to finish this?"

"Of course."

"Thank you... Yuri, Enya, I need you to get down then."

The two complied instantly; all-the-while, Kaito manuevered through the Rezo-Co parking complex, making his way to the fifth-floor from the top. He couldn't help but feel pleased with himself, having intercepted such a detailed report. That wouldn't really matter though if he didn't prevent the sniper's task. After finding a suitable parking space, the cloaked assassin unlaced his bow and quiver from their respective positions.

"Protect her, Enya," Kaito muttered under his breath. As the cloaked figure stepped away from the car, three motion-sensitive cameras focused in on the being.

//Damn technology. Stealth is almost impossible in this city--almost.//

In a matter of seconds, the Hades assassin slipped through the entrance of the building. The floor lay desolate except for a single, stray chi, human.

//I suppose it makes sense. Phoenix would use a time with the least distraction to Jevadite. This only makes it easier for me though.//

Deftly, Kaito slipped fukibari needles into his mouth, the assasin grinning at the familiar taste. Kaito wasted no time in removing the last hindrance from his path, a single door. Pale hands entangled themselves, performing the necessary signals for the infamous fudo kanashibari no jutsu. Instantly, the target flinched; Kaito could only hope that the sniper failed to complete his mission.

Many people believed that target practice would be shooting a large target panel full of holes.

Kyler and Kylie Lennox thought otherwise.

"Here it comes." Kyler said, pointing at the flying chunk of paper with his pistol.

Within seconds, it was plastered with holes and fell straight into the rubbish bin sitting inconspiciously across them.

"I hope those explosions would stop coming." Cadence muttered, settling down beside the twins. He tilted his head towards the frustrated writer sitting at the desk several metres from them. Her usually tamed hair were frazzled and if she pressed down any harder on the pieces of paper, the table would start having permanent imprints of wordings on its shiny surface.

"But if they stop, won't the paper balls stop coming in too?" Kylie asked, shooting up another ball of paper.

"If they don't stop, she'll start cutting the whole building with her wires, until she finds and murder every one of those responsible for the explosions." Cadence explained. "You don't want your apartment destroyed do you?"

The twins gulped visibly and looked about at their nicely furnished apartment. Their answer was obvious. Kyler asked finally, "So what do we do now?"

"Shoot up those bastards causing the explosion. I don't care how you do it, but finish them in half an hour or I'll do it myself." Chloe answered through gritted teeth, throwing another crushed paper towards them where it met its demise.

"No problemo Chloe! Consider that done!" the twins declared and disappeared through the window, clattering up the ladder leading to the roof.

Minutes later, they returned, satisfied grins on their faces as they flopped simultaneously onto their sofa.

"Mission accomplished?" Chloe asked, turning from her laptop and stacks of books and papers. She received two thumbs ups in reply, and nodded, her mood brightening by several degrees, before inclining her head to the laptop. "Alright, we know that headquarters is down. So what I suggest that we do is to contact the remaining surviving Phoenix members, whoever and wherever they are."

"But they wouldn't want to see us." the twins sighed dramatically. "We didn't help them during the first war, they think us useless."

Chloe simply rolled her eyes at their antics, "Doesn't matter, we need to ask them about the current situation anyway."

"So who is first on the list?" Cadence asked.

"Ever heard of Beatrix Madeen?"

[OOC: Eheh sorry, forgot to add their timeline for this post. This is immediately after my previous post, and Chloe and Cadence had just told the twins about the destruction of that bulding.

Just a note, they are living in a less populated/visited region in Tewen and those people causing the explosions and bombings were the Dragon members.]

"Hey girly", a man turned around from his friends, holding a golden gun. This intrigued Beatrix. Wannabe pimp?

He hit the shoulder of the man beside him grabbing the attention of the others around them.

"Look here fellas", the golden-gunned man said.

"Ohh what a lady like you doing out tonight?” A man wearing a white hat asked he seemed to be young.

They all laughed pointing at Beatrix as if she were a dangerous animal.

"Oh y'know...nothing illegal", Beatrix flirted with an iron tongue. The men laughed at her obviously enticed by her.

"Nice ride", a cool talking man wearing a black suit that stuck out within the crowd of rebels said.

"Christian Movana", Beatrix smiled remembering the voice, he had been a past...friend of hers.

Christian smiled back at her. His long brown hair hanging past his eyes like it had done only two years ago. It seemed things didn’t change as much as Beatrix had expected them to.

The men came towards her, Christian stood back well aware of the carnage about to take place.

"How bout you and me get jiggy eh?” The golden gun male asked. He held one hand at his waist near his groin area like some rapper off of the television.

"Come get it", Beatrix answered taking a look at Christian.

"Ohhh", Was the response all around. He took long steps and stopped at Beatrix lips.

"Yummy", Beatrix said breaking the kiss and revealing her own golden gun.

"Woah", he whispered to himself as Beatrix pulled the trigger, she aimed were it hurt.... and she deemed her work successful as the men around her fell. Of course Christian was left standing.

"Hop on", Beatrix insisted as if there weren’t really a gang of dead men around her.

"Thanks...I’m heading in your direction", He said placing himself behind and grabbing Beatrix's stomach.

"Ohh...” she said pretending to moan. Christian laughed. He and Beatrix had been lovers for a short amount of time while she was dating one of the top leaders of the Phoenix Triads.

"I don’t remember informing you as to were I was going", Beatrix got straight to the point.

"Old age", Christian joked as Beatrix started the engine heading towards the counts responsible for the Phoenix HQ destruction.

"Naughty", Beatrix slapped his face gently.

Christian dealt in the same work as Beatrix, he was one of her own of course...but he was more freelance than her other.... associates. He was also highly trained in combat as well, that was how they met after all.

"Ch'. I never said anything about agreeing to babysit." Enya wrinkled his good-looking nose as he glared at the disappearing figure of the shinobi. "No matter, I need a little rest after all those killing I was doing earlier. Don't kill me while I take a nap, ne?"

"I don't trust you. But Kaito-san..."

"Geez, his complex is totally not one-sided." Enya rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Just stay there like a good obedient girl and don't attempt to kill me, okay?"

"... alright." The reply seemed very hesitant.

"Good." Enya gave her a thumbs-up before he stretched and settled himself on his seat comfortably. He was about to drowse off when he suddenly snapped his eyes wide open and stared straight in front of him, his face paler than a sheet of paper. The words that crept out of his mouth was nearly a whimper. "Oh my god... no... not this..."

Yuri noticed something odd in the Hades teen and touched his shoulder. "Enya...? What happened? Enya?!"

"Yuri... go away quick... find Kaito... get away from me... I don't want to... to hurt you... GO!!!" Enya nearly screamed the last word at the kunoichi before he fumbled his way out of the car hastily and half-stumbled away from it, away from the Japanese girl, until he fell. "You'll... get... hurt... go now... no..."

"Enya!" Right after Yuri took off reluctantly to find Kaito, a man dressed in an all black suit seemed to flash into appearance beside the shaking youth. "Oizys! Stop this! Enyalios is not to be harmed!"

"But his pain is so sweet... just like Deimos's..." A dreamy and surprisingly young female voice echoed eerily around the area. "Moros... don't stop me... I'll let Mother know..."

The Moros's voice was cold. "Nyx gave Phobos permission to command us for this period of time, Oizys. You don't want to be punished, do you?"

There was no reply, but when Enya stopped shivering violently, the man heaved a huge sigh and spoke again. "I won't tell Nyx. Even though I know you are not supposed to be here."

"I came to find Dolos. He promised to play with me but he disappeared again. Like two years ago. But Deimos played with me then." Oizys sounded petulent. "You won't let me play with Enyalios."

Moros sighed. "Sorry, Oizys, but Dolos and Enya are both una
