After going 2-3 hours without saving, I'd just got the plane in WA:ACF and decided to go and see if I could find the blind girl in the town where you fight Zed. Well, I found her... then I got myself killed by Zed. I couldn't remember if you could fight him as soon as you beat the Gate Generator. You know what makes it worse? if I'd paid attention I to the yes/no question while getting out of the town I'd still be alive... now I have to go all the way from just after getting to the Elw world to the point where you unlock the plane again. ;__;

Damn guy, I want to use him in my party. I think I'll leave my next visit to blind girls until after I get the evil + love guardian again, and after I've saved. Revenge will be mine! tongue.gif

to recruit Zed you'll have to...
**SPOILER-access the final dungeon and snitch Defense Unit from Malduke... it's best to snitch one after running through the first area and getting Jack's Old Guitar and Rudy's Arc Nova munnition.
Kick Zed's butt, he'll stay behind to watch over the blind girl, give him the Defense Unit and he'll join you.

but i know how you feel... i fought Zed early on (Ridgobrite + Retaliate makes the fight oh so much easier) and thrashed him, then i decided to see what that "Monster Egg" was about... ah, crap- Humpty & Dumpty (an annoying opti-boss that thrashed me)... rolleyes.gif
(to get the "monster egg" go back to the Ruins of Memory and type in 'Fulcani' and 'Keeper' at the Identify yourself, infidel!! place to reveal two hidden areas)

If you have Retaliate on your characters, then Zed will hurt himself all the time since all his attacks are physical. Retaliate reflect physical damage once, so make sure Cecilia can cast it on the entire party. The best way to attack before Zed is to have Jane cast ''Follow Me!'', then follow up with Cecilia casting Retaliate on the entire party and then have the third character attack, Jack's Fast Draw or Rudy's ARMs. Of course, Jane might not be fast enough, but just cast Quick on her and that should solve that problem.

Oh, Retaliate protect you from Zed's one hit killer move Ultimate Zed. Still, Zed was nerf down in this game compare to the original.

Minock, wasn't Humpty and Dumpty optional boss to the Monster Egg in previous games?

i only remember them in WA3, but not in a Monster Egg.

I entered the passwords into Ruins of Memory at the very start. I did try the egg when I was in the 30s, the result is as you will imagine with me getting destroyed by the old WA3 extra bosses. =D

I will try Zed again 50-60. He one-shot me easily when I fought him by mistake, as I expected after fighting him in the original, although He did seem kinda weak compared to what he was like in the first, sadly.

What pisses me off about ACF is how damn easy it is. I don't remember the main story boss fights being hard in the original but I remember them putting up a decent fight. Hopefully the extra bosses can at least entertain me; I don't really remember when I beat all but Leviathan in the original.

heh, in the original- all the bosses were exceptionally easy. in the remake, they weren't a total push-over. and yes, the Golems and several optional bosses can be a real chore to beat... like the Mage Fox in the Poison Cave, and Balaam in De La Metallica, pt. 2...
