Full Version: KH2 Plot Question

Okay, I'm in The World that Never Was, about to fight Saix, and I still have one huge plot question:

Why is Organization XIII considered bad?

To my understanding, after playing KH1, CoM, and now almost done with KH2, they ARE nobodies, I know that. And they want to become whole.

So their plot was to have Sora kill enough Heartless that Kingdom Hearts opens and they can get their hearts back. Am I wrong?

Because if that's the case, why are they bad? I would assume that Sora WANTS to help them become human again.
SonicX_Zero
I think the reason they are considered bad because as humans they never were good to begin with. Considering what they did and experimented all those test subjects for the sake of research of the darkness in the heart that led to the chaos in the other worlds. I say they have already done more bad than good if they ever did. ^^;;
Evilbob
Pretty much what he said. The first members of the Organization were people under Xehanort, so they automatically weren't good people.

And the thing is, since Nobodies are created when people with strong wills become heartless, usually, those people became heartless by choice. Strong hearts from good people can resist darkness.

And while not all Nobodies are good, trying to destroy the hearts of others to regain your own is usually a bad thing. It makes them bad.

And they look sinister!! That's very important!!!

But you have to admit that they do look COOL with all those black robes and matching hairstyles, Xaldin I'm looking at you babe and they get to say some cheesy lines... well maybe except Xehanort but I never liked him anyway. XDD Too bad the ones in CoM never got to say or do interesting stuff, but man how I wish Larxene made a significant appearance in KH2 to balance all the testosterone.

Anyway since this topic is all about KH2 plot, I was wondering did the Hayner, Pence and Olette that Roxas met were just data and not real people?
LagunaWannabe
Sounds like they were just data.. I just finished the game, and from my understanding there ARE indeed two worlds, so one is data and the other isn't.

Here's MY plot question.. In the final battle, we see Xehanort's Dragon and at the cockpit of the dragon, is a guy in armor JUST like the ones in the secret ending.... Does this mean anything?? I wish there was more info on it.

And overall, I wasn't all too impressed with the Organization.. After all of Deep Dive and Another Side/Story, I thought there were gonna be some like, KICK ass fights between them, instead there was just one major battle for most of them. And they didn't go enough into Riku's experiences as an Organization Member, or Roxas' time.

i dunno, it felt kinda like they deviated from the hints given to us in the trailers. Like, it ended too quick, or something like that

What do you mean KICK ass fights between them? Like Sora taking all of the organization at once? or Perhaps Marluxia's group against Xemnas's group? I think Riku's experience wasn't that much considering that the reason he even went into the organization wasn't anything more than taking Roxas to Diz.

Well they did have to make some things fit with some of the scenes in DD while some got changed like some people mentioned a heartless sign when Roxas passed through the portal and later they had changed or something. In any case I guess it was unavoidable that some things get changed along way with the 3 year gap and all. x_x;;

As far as I can see, people's original theory of Kairi coming from Hollow Bastion (or should I say Radiant Gardens) was true. However, she was not Ansem's daughter as other's suspected. There was one thing the whole entire story that bugged me. What was the past the Sephiroth talking to Cloud about? Why does Cloud continually run away from Tifa (who obviously was his "light")? How come Sephiroth doesn't remember you from the first game? Was he killed in the first game, then reborn from the darkness in Cloud's heart? So yeah that's all I got. As for the rest of the story, I understand pretty much everything.
LagunaWannabe
Well, when I say kick ass fights between the organization, yeah I mean like, Axel vs the head or something, or just more cinematic fights... Like most of them you just fight once and u kill them that battle. I woulda liked to have seen more of Roxas, or at least flashbacks.

Also, I have a HUGE plot question.... I just realized that I don't think this is ever answered:

In the cave on Destiny Islands, where does that Door lead to??

Oh yeah and the ending movie SUCKED. It wasn't emotional, just corny with Donald and Goofy diving on Sora like they had already done 2000 times throughout the storyline. And Sora walks into the cave and sees the paintin but he just smiles and touches it, we don't actually see him and Kairi become "close" like the Disney characters did. Like, in KH1 ending, my eyes waterd when Kairi cried at the cave painting, this whole ending was too short for my liking, and lackluster.
SonicX_Zero
Wasn't the door at Destiny islands the one that heartless in the 1st game used to get into their world? I mean when the heartless started appearing that door was already opened, so I assumed that door was where their world key was.

What killed me in ending was the sucky song. <.<;; I mean I got really excited when I heard the orchestra version of Hikari being played but no it had to be cut in the middle and start playing passion which overkilled me. lawl
Tomba
Well..... They're using Sora to collect hearts..... But by doing so, the hearts are engulped by the darkness, never to be freed. All so that they can become whole....... Jerks......
LagunaWannabe
Yeah i HATED this song, it was too upbeat for me.. and i know that theyre all heppy they reunited, but it should be more sentimental, the game was overall way too happy. All the good scenese are the ones when Donald and Goofy arent friggin pokin their fingers up each others butts: i.e. The thousand Heartless battle with Cloud and Leon and company, Sephiroth Battles, Auron and Hercules, Axel and the nobodies, Riku and Sora fightin the final battles together.. I mean i wish there was more cool stuff and less sappy stuff, or KEEP the amount of sappy but at least even it off with some dark cool action scenes..

Action to me isn't fighting Jafar and watching Jasmine and Aladdin repeat their movie, I've SEEN the movies, the fact that all the worlds replayed the movie storylines got annoying cause it almost made the game NOT original.

And I'm pretty sure there's more to the door on Destiny Islands than just the heartless coming through, that door has SOME meaning

Well doesn't being the keyhole of that world mean something enough? I meant that it was what the heartless used in the first game to get to their world as such what happened in the other worlds as well, the keyhole of their worlds got opened and the keyblade holder needs to lock it before it gets consumed in the darkness.
