so i picked this bad boy up yesterday and i must say im glad i did! it is actually really good! 3824628346 times better than Lateralus!
and the cover art is so incredible! putting these weird glasses thingies on it and viewing pictures that looks 3d when you look throw them...
so what do you all think of it?

Ive never listened to very much Tool before at all because I very much dislike A Perfect Circle. Guess It wouldn't hurt to DL a few songs... any recomendations?

The Pot is a pretty good track off the new one...and Vicarious

The new CD is great! Dany Cary(drummer) once again proves himself as the best drummer in the world.

VERY good album, in my opinion. A lot of people feel there's too much 'filler' to make the album good, but what the album has makes it worth it. The paired Wings for Marie songs are brilliant and powerful, in my opinion, and songs like Jambi and The Pot are musically delicious(They're after me Lucky Charms!).

I love it, even though people say it sounds 'too much like old Tool albums', as though that could be a bad thing.

So, maybe barely sorta slightly almost tolerable?

Their previous stuff made me cringe. I really can't imagine myself liking anything from this band, but I guess anything's possible. They really just weren't my thing before, but maybe I'll give this album a shot. Not very high in hopes that I'll like any of what I hear, but meh. Never know.
