Why at the end of Majora's Mask link doesn't find Navi? isn't that why he went on that advanture.
I for one was kinda mad that he didn't find her. its like that hole darn town was just a "side qeust"
I know he made two new "fairy friends" but still, did I miss something here? did I not do something right in the game?
who else was sad about this?

No, you did not do anything wrong, thats kinda like the point. He was searching for Navi, but he was distracted when he was pulled into the story of MM; and so the game begins. In a way it is like a sidequst; this is jsut one of Link's many adventures chronicled, and I kinda like that.

yea whtat he said ^^
and besides after he found epona why would he want a silly fairy?
memories a little foggy tho.. i dont remember much about that game at all. lol cept that mask that makes u shoot lasers out of ur sword

Nope, you didn't miss a thing. Link got distracted and realized that saving Clock Town and kicking the Skull Kid's butt was more important

So don't worry.
But, since your question has been answered, I think it's about time you closed this thread

Um, why would the thread be closed? Only 3 people have gave their opinion on what they thought about Navi never being found, and the nature of the majora's maskgame. :S

I think they were asking for an answer as to why Navi was not found, not an opionon on her NOT being found. Or perhaps I read that wrong. My aplogies if that is the case.

I never got that. I never read the manual, but if it says anythin like, "he was looking for some fairy called Navi", as well, as the whole, "he was searching for some one, blah blah bla"(I cant remember what it says at the beggining) how do we know that the who ever he's looking for is Navi. He's in the woods at the beginning, how come hes not looking for Saria? I know im gunna flames to peices for this, but aparently open mindedness is good
Hylian Girl

We know he's looking for Navi because the game TELLS us. He's not looking for Saria, he's looking for Navi.

hmm, yea I am wondering why she was not found. at the end of OoT navi flu off thru the window of thec hamber of time. and in the begining of MM is tells us that the boy is looking for a friend he lost and then you hear the "tingle" of navi, along with a some flash of her on the screen. plus my manual told me that hes looking for navi
I'm just wondering WHY he never found her. they gave no reason. no 3rd game. it just ended... he goes off forever looking for her till he died and the new Link Hero Of Wind just came along with no idea... man I liked navi lol.
Edited part: I wanted to metion that in the up coming DS game Phantom Hourglass that a fairy giudes link thru the game (the fairy is the part where your pen touches the screen) that might be navi..? I haven't heared much of this but it might be. any1 have an opinion on that too? o.o

Yea, see. The game and the manuel tells us that he's looking for Navi. I like her too

It just makes more sense for Link to save Clock Town and what not instead of finding her lol. And if any of you think he's looking for Epona, how is that possible when he's riding her at the very beginning? lol Yea sure, she
does get taken but thats
after they tell us he's looking for a lost friend. And it tells us about Navi, so yea lol.
And I didn't know there was a fairy in Phantom Hourglass. Nice! I've missed fairies

They help and guide you, although they can become quite annoying. But I've missed having them there. So, this should be quite good IMO.

its just a theiry I have (sp)
see in the pictures theirs a fairy that helps you move link around.
it looks like navi.. but who knows how long fairys live lol. I hope it is navi, if its some random fairy that only role in the game is to be the point where your pen touched the screen that would suck

Navi is in Twilight Princess too~
But I have always wondered the same thing, but as previous posters have said, MM was like a sidequest for link. And in almost everygame there is a different Link, yes? So It could be a different Navi in The Phantom Hourglass and what not.
We may never know if he finds Navi..

Link was in the forest in the beginning of MM to search for a "lost yet valuble friend" or something like that...yes, it was Navi he was looking for...however the Skullkid drew him into Termina which caused a weird timewarp for Link...In the beginning of the Wind Waker, it states that "something pulled the Hero of Time away from Hyrule" and then Ganon awakened again and thus the world ended because Link didnt appear...so my thought that Link was in Termina alot longer than one would think....at the end of MM, he goes back to searching for Navi..perhaps that too caused Link to go MIA...

theres also a game called Navi's Trackers (which is actually called Tetra's trackers) that never was sold in america and other places.
I don't know what they would call it Navi's trackers because what I learn its just kinda like a mini-game. and tetra is in it. and NOT navi what-so-ever.
The world just doesn't make any sinse! WHERE IS NAVI
edited part: almost forgot. Navi was sent by the deku to to guid the boy-with-out-a-fairy to be the Hero of Time. she left when his time saving Hyrule was over.. maybe she was never ment to be found cause she was no longer needed... that seems kinda mean... lol. fairys have feelings too. just a thought I had just now.
and also navi could come back from wear ever shes been to help the new hero.. Hero of Wind in Phantom Hourglass. you never know.... time will tell

Yea, I heard of Tetra's Trackers but I've never seen it around here in Canada, which makes me sad and I want it. Has anyone here played it or heard about it? If so, postness

hmm I think my thought about navi's time helping the hero was up was the only thing it could be.. thats still sad though. glad I posted this it helped me figure out why she was not found
I also still think it would be a good idea to bring those "kind" of fairys back and having a new navi in future games. or even the same navi. I never realy liked the fairys in the games after MM, like in the WW and stuff.
haha bring back the tinker-bell-flash-light lookin fairys! lol
Hylian Girl
May 30 2006, 10:28 AM
Well the fairies in WW are stictly for putting in your bottles and healing you. The Great Fairies are strange and have like four arms. I don't like them very much because they are creepy. Although they are better than the Great Fairies in OOT and MM. Those Great Fairies are just ugly and scary-looking.
HeroFlame
May 31 2006, 03:07 AM
if I remeber the great fairys in Oot (and maybe MM) they were almost naked

lol
Hylian Girl
May 31 2006, 02:34 PM
Yep. Almost naked, ugly, and pointy boobs. Horrible! Not what a Great Fairy of Magic/Power/Wisdom/Whatever should look like!

I don't mind them being covered in vines and stuff, they just need to be alittle more covered, I mean god poor link is WAY to young to see pointy boobs >< and some other poorly covered items... lmao. their hair can have some improving aswell haha
Hylian Girl
Jun 1 2006, 12:37 PM
LMAO. Yes, he IS way too young to see pointy boobs and...what not. Although, in OOT he is like 20 when you travel through time

The vines are cool, but if the Great Fairies were prettier and had a nicer-looking bosom, then everything would be alright lol

I figure they never had you find Navi, so you would be interested to play the next game to see if he eventually found Navi. I mean the whole game was a sidequest, he pretty much got himself dragged into finding the Majora's Mask and all that.
