Does anyone play gunz the duel? I think its a pretty cool game although I don't play it that much. The gameplay is creative. It's like a western/samurai thing. You have a gun and sword. The type of gun and sword depends on the type of person you created. The GFX are pretty good. The only thing is setting up controls to suit you.

I used to play it with some friends of mine. It's an overall decent game, but if I were you I'd stop. We just found this out like a month ago, but apparently it opens up every port for access to the servers. Playing that game is just begging to get hacked.
Just thought I should warn ya.

GunZ was great when it was in beta and my buddy got past their crappy GameGuard anti cheat system so I could have speed hack, infinite life, infinite ammo, and most importantly level 99.

It was good times. Can't say it's a game I'd actually play outside of hacking the noobs who do bother to play such a bland game so I can hear them whine and complain.

I loved it...when it worked the whole system screwd up on me it was sad I was level 54..

That game had some weird prob with ping, my ping was always 9999 on it. But I quit that game at level 14. The only thing good about it was the music.

I recently played that game, it had potential, but there was a huge amount of lag it seemed, even though I have DSL. Sure, you could play it, but there were one too many "huh?" moments caused by the lag. Other than that, I just would have liked to know how much damage I was doing to people, you can't learn from your mistakes if you don't know whether you made any, lol.

The lag more than likely has to do with the possibility that the servers are all located overseas.

I don't know that for sure, but I'm quite sure they don't have too many US servers for the game, if any. It's a foreign title and with most of those free foriegn games, you have to put up with using overseas servers.

I never had too much a problem with ping myself, but I've no doubt that there could be problems.

My friend Delon plays this game, and he's pretty good. x_X He has his own little crew too..
