does ANYONE know why Ovans arm is sealed up in the thing with a HUGE padlock on it??? my theory is that when he gets powerful enough to open it, his WHOLE ARM becomes a SUPER WEAON!!!!!:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P

Is his PC an illegal one, or something? If not, then his body should be "normal" and within the boundrys of the game I think.

That's his weapon for one of the newest classes besides Multi-Weapon called "Stream Gunner". That makes the class user use a big cannon on their arms instead of using a sword, spear, or staff like the other class..

But I don't know what the mages in R2 are now, and they are no long "wavemasters" that's for sure.

Instead of Wavemasters you have a HARVEST: Support Magic (Like Repth) And then you have WARLOCK: Offensive attacks ( Like Vak Kruz )

No more plain Wavemasters o.o;;

The Big lock could be for Character Design Purposes only.

The more I think of that giant lock, the more I think the lock is to seal his avatar since he may have obtained it right before the events of .hack//ROOTS since his is Corbenik.

Think it will be revealed with his avatar at the last chapter.

The lock on Ovan's arm is to keep his avatar only in his left arm. And he uses it in episode 17 of .Hack//Roots against Triedge.

his arm looks like it was a shield at first when i looked at it

and the lock should have more of a purpose then just to keep it on his left arm

ADD ON: why is ovans arm cheap? like he hacked his arm? the guy who haseo met helping the noobs and PK high lvlers he said ovans arm was like a some kinda cheap thing like as if it was the "key of the twilight"
