Ok, as we all know, prices of consoles are rising, d'uh. Anyways, I have all 3 current consoles, including the GameCube, X-box, and Ps3. With that being said, Ive only done this because of the relatively small price on these, and we all know, there isnt going to be small price tag on all the Next Gen. consoles combined. Anyways, the point is, how many Next Gen. consoles do you plan on buying this go-around with the new price tags?

I only have a Gamecube right now (and a broken PS2, which I plan to replace a few months after the PS3 comes out, about a year from now), but that wasn't the question.

I'm just buying the Wii. Nothing on the 360 interests me, and the PS3 is way too goddamn expensive. I could buy an almost gaming-quality PC for that price. Nintendo fanboyism/Sony anti-fanboyism doesn't factor into this decision at all. It's just that the Wii is the only interesting console (to me) in my price range.

I'll get the PS3 for sure, that's the only thing I'm 100% positive of at the moment.
I might get a Wii depending on how good or bad the new Smash Brothers turns out to be.

I'm going to get the PS3 for sure, but only after the price drops. Nothing else really interests me at this moment, and I admit I'm a Sony fangirl so there =p

I'm getting all 3. I bought a 360 on impulse. My friend was selling his with a few games and controllers for pretty cheap and I wanted to play oblivion. And this time around I think MS is going to have a few more worthwhile titles. Not as much as Sony, but not next to nothing either. Anyway, back on topic. Of the last gen consoles I have a PS2 and a GC. And I'll get a PS3 and a Wii probably not to long after the launch.

I probably wont get anything of these for a long time.I dont even have a PS 2,so I'l going to buy that when PS 3 arrives. The price for PS 3 is much,and the other consoles dont interest me that much

I can only say for sure in terms of near-future that I'll be getting a Wii. Which is mainly because it has games I want early-on, and it's at a fair price. PS3 however...I really won't have much interest there for a good while. Not much there to interest me enough to dish out 5-600 right away. I'd rather wait a year or 2 for a price drop, by which time there should also be a good amount of games available that I want. Wii should keep me busy on it's own until then, even if just Smash Bros online and the other titles I know of so far.

So in short...1 to start (Wii), and probably a 2nd (PS3). I can't say X-Box 360 really catches my interest at all currently.

I want a[nother] 360 pretty soon. There are a few titles I'd like already out, and loads of great games coming later this year and early next. But there are plenty of great games still out there for Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube I've not played yet. No rush.

I'll get a Wii when it launches, with Zelda.

PS3, hmm, most of the games I will want on that console wont be out for a while after the system launches, so I think i'll wait for the price to drop, and for more games I want to be out.

My good friend and soon to be roommate already owns a 360, and we're both throwing down on the PS3... So I guess technically I will have two in some form or another.

I may end up just buying the PS3 for myself in case I would ever move out in the future, but I guess I don't have a problem sharing it.

I'd like to get all 3, over time.
Nothing wrong with it, there seems like there are going to be games I can't miss on all 3, I already have a 360, so its cool.

I believe I will buy Ps3 when the prize is stable. Nintendo Wii doesn't cost that much either, I might consider getting this console to play the Zelda series.

It seems most likely for me that I'll eventually buy a PS3. The 360 honestly has nothing that interests me, the Wii although I respect, isn't exactly what I want from a console. The PS3 looks the msot impressive imo and has offered up the games I really want. Although I'm jsut about to start Uni, I'll likely wait a few years to get a new console.

Only one and that is most likely to be a PS3 because 360 doesn't interest me that much and I know wii will most likely have a cheaper console price but the price of the games are the ones that are going to kill me if the same with the gamecube will happen here. ^^

I'll be getting a PS3 fo sho, nothing to comment about that. It has a couple of games I simply must have, one being MGS4 of course and Suikoden VI will be coming to PS3 aswell, so I must have it.

I am getting a Wii aswell, maybe only for Super Smash Bros Brawl, but that is the only game that I want for the Wii at the moment.
Other then that, well I will just have to wait.

XBox 360 can die imo, I don't care about that thing and I will not buy one, maybe I can get one for free...no I still don't want it lol =P

Sticking to my original decision of sticking with Sony. Want get the PS3 at release but I will get it before the year that it comes out ends.

Right now I own a Gamecube, an Xbox, an N64, a SNES, a NES, a Dreamcast...um, I think that's it. But I will be buying the Wii and the Xbox 360. I will not buy the PS3 because I have never bought any Sony console due to never liking them.

I will probably only be getting two, a Wii and a PS3. I've never really had much of an interest in anything Xbox, although, if my computer continues to act up, I may have to get a 360 just so I can play Oblivion.

I've only ever needed one console from any generation... but I might just get two this time seeing as the Wii is so cheap. PS3 and Wii for me... I would just get the Wii, but with the style of gaming I think it'd get quite tiresome without some more traditional games to sit down and play...

Well its hard to say for me. I'm thinking i'll eventually have all 3, but I think im going to wait a while for the PS3. Im definatly getting the Wii as quick as I can, and im going to get the 360 when I can so I can play Halo 3 when it comes out and Oblivion and all that. Possibly FFXI.

The PS3 just hasn't had as much appeal with me as the other two, I need to wait a while and find out more about it.

well i have an xbox and a game cube, also currently borrowing my friends ps2
but as for getting the next gen consoles. well if i can get some cash flow i will deffinitly be getting them sooner or later. but i never have money or a job.. lol so if i ever do get any of them its guna be a while. the Wii will prolly be the last out of the 3 if i get them

I'll be getting the Wii first without question , but I do know that with Metal Gear Solid 4 and FFXIII, I will eventually break down and get the PS3 in the distant future.

I'm going to pick up the Wii on it's release date along with Zelda without question. This is simple because Zelda games are great and I know for sure I can affort it when ever the release.

The PS3 I will also be picking up but thats going be a while due 'very expensive price'. I'll wait for it to get down to about half it's origanal price or something.

I'll be getting two of them, the Wii and the 360. I'm not too interested in the PS3 and the price of it throws me off even more. Regardless, I was planning on getting the Wii when it launches, can't resist, you know? The 360, there are some games on it that I'm looking forward to playing, but I'll most likely grab that when either when the Wii launches or when the games I'm anticipating on come out.

I'm still not certain about the PS3, still got to think about that. =/
