All most know the Hyulkonton/Hayokonton aliens from the previous Wild ARMs games, which drops good amount of EXP and Gella? Well, in WA3, they're called "Creepling Chaos", and you only can fight against them by starting a subquest called "Telepath Towers". I red that in some part of the game, when you reach Laxisland, you talked a guy named "Roswell" who is a UFO investigator, and he talked about an alien invasion and if you check the door of his house, over a bunch of boxes, using R2 + X, you will find that he collected a weird magazine called "Mu and Lemuria Monthly", which you can find in a bookcase in the ark of destiny' library using Clive' Grappling Hook TOOL. Well, put all this together and somehow at sometime, you begin the quest. The mission consist of battle against sixteen monsters-like-towers, creepling chaos and UFOs, and after all this fight, end with the fight against "Mothership", the leader of the aliens. The reward: an EX file key. The Question is: ¿When i start this? ¿How it i make to do it? ¿At what time: in the beginning, in the middle of the story or near the end? ¿Before or after which dungeon?. I leave the answers to you. Bye.

The quest starts when you do the Laxisland thing, you'ed better do it right away cuz if you wait you can't begin the quest anymore. (you only need to get the quest) You can find the towers just on the map using the search button. Everyone of'em does something else, like Ambrosia, paralyze etc. if you beated 12 or something like that you get to do a side quest boss, beat all the towers you get EX file key I think...
Í'm not sure about this but go to gamefaqs. if this isn't good.

If I remember correctly, the quest did start after you are able to go to Laxisland by talking to that guy you mentioned (Roswell).
I'd suggest you to start doing this quest after you had your aircraft which its name I've forgotten lol. There is no order in searching this tower, you can get the last tower if you're really unlucky. XD
But do this quest only if you feel like ready for it. The aliens give the best exp in this game. Their Arc 'en ciel skill is something you should be aware of, it causes all abnormal status (maybe not...)

Definetely, if you make good use of the lucky cards ( I think that what they were called?) and amp up your exp against these guys, you'll be walking away laughing. I loved the sidequests in this game as they managed to vary alot but all remain equally fun. Excellent stuff.

i think the last chance you have to activate this side-quest is before you go into the Cradle of the Metal Gods; after that- you're screwed.
each Telepath tower comes in groups of three, each grouping has a specific status inducing attack that it would be to be prepared for... especially the ones with 'Asphyxiate' the insta-death attack.
defeat several Towers, you'll get a message that the Creping Chaos's are loosed to stop you (again, status- blockers are good; since the Chaos's love Arc en Ciel and Human Experimentation), destroy more towers and Space Ships will attack you while you're zipping around in your airship (ahem:Lombardia, destroy all the towers- including Tower #0 near Boot Hill to fight the mothership and get the EXFile key.
the Tower fights are where giving Gallows the Chronos Rune, for using Extension/Replay to make the fights shorter.

This is, by far, the most difficult subquest to start and play. There are different opinions about this. I think too that must be started before enter Cradle of Metal Gods, because after, even if you found the clue about the magazines, Roswell will talk the same thing over and over again. But is my opinion, and others have different ones than must be listen to. Even consulting the guides in Gamefaqs, no one, including Split Infinity which have the must complete guide, have an exact way to start it, check out for yourself and you will find the disagreement between the differents guides. I think that only talking with Media Vision and Sony, with the team who creates the game, only that will the way to start this subquest found out.
And talking about the clue of the Magazines in Laxisland, I used the same option that have the Wild ARMs 4. Remember when you hold on R2 and press X, something in the screen shine, meaning that is an important clue about the game, well I used in WA3, and works at the same way. Press the buttons and the character will move and looks at something important. Do that in the entrance of Laxisland and follow the shine and you will find the clue. Inform here if something happens with that. Bye!!!

I found it by myself, but only for luck. The real thing is that the function R2+X exists but the game has no tutorial about that. The game only give tutorials about the force abilities of each caracter and the medium menu, and is the only. I believe that the Wild ARMs 4 has the Best Tutorial of all the Wild ARMs but thats my opinion.

Sweet, wish my sister didn't have my copy right now >_> or I'd check that out, kinda neat. I've never played WA4 since there doesn't seem to be a PAL release heading this way anytime soon.

Im doing my second playthrough of Wild ARMs 3. The function R2+X appears in Virginia`s Prologue just like Sigs Minock says (Thanks Sigs Minock!!!). Using this is helpful, but the must important thing is the ASK function, which is used when you talk to someone and a word in green appears in his dialogue, in that moment press square and with X the character will give you more information about the word or the frase in green. I used this with Roswell in Laxisland (both functions) and he give me the position of the first Telepath Tower but when i go to check, i found nothing. Through all chapter 3 i talked to Roswell: the dialogue changes and more words in green appears, i use the ASK system, even talked with a blonde girl in Laxisland who says that she saw strange lights over a close hill, i go outside, search and nothing. Finally, the chapter 3 over, and Roswell talked to me saying about "something to beat the king of beasts and rule the entire universe", and the quest didnt start. Split Infinity, in his guide, says that he start the quest after getting the Exodus Orb. I didnt pass through Demondor Pillar, so the quest can be started soon. I hope so.

Tha answer is finally here: after Demondor Pillar and before D. Pillar Rear, the Telepath Towers Quest Begun. The Fifthteen towers can be found after several conditions:
1- Knowing about the R2+X function and the ASK system in the prologue of the game.
2- Meeting Roswell after defeating Balal Quo Naga the first time and, with the sandcraft, arriving to Laxisland.
3- Every time you talked to Roswell in any moment of the game after the end of chapter 3, use the ASK system always.
4- After getting the hook tool and arriving to ark of destiny, go to the library, use the hook and access the top library, read, no matters what, the book "Mu and Lemuria Montly", several times.
5-In Laxisland, with the function R2+X, point to a couple of boxes near Roswell, check that for help to the start to the quest.
6-DO NOT STOP TALKING TO ROSWELL USING THE ASK SYSTEM UNTIL THE END OF THE CHAPTER 3!!!
Thats all for me now, bye. I hope this works for everybody.
