so 2006 has been filled with quite alot of releases, and there's still many more to come. July 4th will see the release of Rise Against's new album. They've released two songs, which are available for listening:
myspace.com/riseagainstI am enjoying the hell out of the new material thus far, and I'm looking forward to hearing more.

I LOVE this band, SSOTCC was such a good punk rock album, and the new ones shaping up to sound like a fitting followup, they've made this a bit heavier without abandoning the last 3 years of direction and going back to their fat wreck roots. Don' get me wrong, those albums were great, but this band has achieved so much more now. I've heard 4, and I only wasn't keen on one, and it still has time to grow on me so good stuff

Oh, geez man, about time I found you (Lost Seraphim) 'round these parts. Haha.
Yes, I am very much enjoying the two songs available for preview on their MySpace, and I'm definitely looking forward to the release. Although I liked most of what I heard off of Siren Song For The Counter Culture, it was a bit different. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it's nice to see that the new stuff is more like their older albums.

I have the whole CD advance. Its not as good as Revolutions Per Minute, but I doubt they can top that.
Not bad though.

Just an update for anyone who cares.
With the release date of the album fast approaching (three days and counting), the band has put the entire album up on their MySpace for preview (streaming).
Been listening to it for a while today, and I personally think it's pretty amazing. Planning to pick up a copy ASAP (preferably on the date of release).
Edit: Album no longer available on their MySpace.
