I wish you would have posted a little more with that. Maybe explaining a little more about why it was your favorite.
It was also my favorite game as well. Transcending through time, having a large world to explore, a great story, lots of weapons and fun fighting. Its had my number one spot for a while now for Zelda games, but I am waiting dearly for the new Zelda to grab my number one spot. We'll just have to wait and see how good it really is.
Second best would probably be A Link To the Past. Another great game, that just had this feeling to it that attracted you to it. Another unforgettable game that I have been wanting to replay for a while now.

Majora's Mask kicks ass!!
I love the whole 'end of the world' feeling. having the time limit definatly put more pressure on me to do it. i liked the pressure

I am stuck with OOT and MM.
Hmm..
Majora's Mask Hands down. I loved Clock Town, and the masks. They had a point, and I felt a little mroe connected to the characters.
My Favorite ones livedo n the ranch, though I forget their names. It has been so so long since I have played. And Besides, Kid Link with Epona was awesome~

Out of the very little array of Zelda games I play I'm going to have to say Link's awakening It's certainly the best 2D Zelda game even though I never played it with colour. I find a Link to the past hard to get into... I guess a non-linear game is good but I like mine to start out pretty linear and branch out from there. Also, whenever I get a nostalgic feeling when I play it.
I played some of the 3D Zelda's but because I've never had a N64 or Gamecube I've never been able to play a lot. I played quite a bit of Majora's Mask and I liked it. I'm in two minds about the constant time limit, I liked the pressure but I'm one of these people who thouroughly likes to explore. Wind Waker was a lot of fun (I enjoyed the demo a lot) but I didn't play enough. I'm personally looking forward to OOT whenever I get to play it.

so far I would say I liked MM, but OoT is a very close tie to that lol
but I'm still testing all the games out. I've only played 5 of the 15 games (13 acutally 'cause TP and Phantom Hourglass isn't out yet)
maybe if I ever get a chance to find Ocarina Of Time Master Quest that might top MM cause of it being harder then the first OoT and all.

My favourite would be hmm somewhere between OoT and WW. I preferred fighting in WW but OoT had the better storyline. I'll go with OoT then. Link's eyes in OoT are still funny looking though.
[Off Topic] Weird, I would have thought that there'd be a limit on the amount of characters in a persons username.

Isn't there already a thread that asks this same question?
I'm stuck between Majora's Mask and Wind Waker. They both rule so much and they are completely awesome. I've played all of the Zelda games all the way through like a million times and these two always stay as my favourite (although picking a favourite Zelda game is really hard because they all rule).
And DayDreamer, I also prefer the fighting in WW. It's awesome. Combos and what not.

It's easier to control; therefore better for noobs lol

A Link to the Past gets no love? ;-;
Poor baby.
That's my favorite Zelda game. It was the first one that I was actually able to beat on my own, after all. It had such quirky ideas, like the dyude who followed you when you broke his sign! xD Or the crazy crazy trees in the Dark world who would sometimes sniffle, shoot bombs, or goodness talk!? And bunny!Link! <3
I loved the Light and Dark worlds, as well as a lot of the palaces. I remember actually revisiting the first three palaces from the beginning because they were so much fun. xD Don't ask, I was a little kid and thought the bosses and puzzles would reset back. Yup, definitely my favorite Zelda!
Close in...uh, a lot of second places would be Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, WindWaker, and Majora's Mask. Simple reasons why, but I'll keep them brief. =p
Link's Awakening - First Gameboy Zelda I ever played, kept me busy on long car rides a lot and something about it was darn attractive to me. <3
Ocarina of Time - The very concept of being able to ride Epona and make up your own songs on the Ocarina made me a happy gal. :]
WindWaker - I thought it was the cutest Zelda in visuals. A little boring and annoying in some parts, though. Darn Triforce pieces.
Majora's Mask - Bunny Hood. That's enough reason. <3

ALTTP is very good, but not the best one. It's not even in 3D or anything

Good and what not, but the newer ones are best

I love
all the Zelda games, so yes, it gets much love!

Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and A Link to the Past are tied for me. I can't really say that one is better than the other (for me, that is). I like Zelda games that you have fun with while thoroughly exploring the surrounding world. That to me is what makes the game memorable.
Like in Majora's Mask; when I finally found out which Piece of Heart I was missing, I got so happy because I finally had my 20 hearts. I was kicking butt with the whole game thoroughly explored. Having all the items is what completes it too (such as all the bottles in both MM and OoT. Also having all the swords in both MM, which would be the Gilded Sword and the Great Fairy's Sword, and OoT, which would be the Kokiri Sword, Master Sword, and Biggoron Sword.)

In every Zelda game you can explore your surroundings big time. It's really fun! I love to go around, talk to people, find items, go into shops, etc. I also like to cut down signs, then repair them

lol
And yes, once TP comes out I'm sure we will all come back into this thread and admit our love for the brand new Zelda

Lol, the end of WW is almost exactly the same as OOT. The Master Sword is almost the same too...ALMOST. The way you fight Ganon with Zelda, and the way you stab him in the head, and shoot him with light arrows, etc. So, it's not that original anymore

Yeah... the master sword is also in ALTTP. You use it to come to the dark world or whatever it's called after you beat the three dungeons. So, the Master Sword has been around before OoT.

I'm surprised, Majora's Mask is getting more love than I thought it would.
And yes, Majora's Mask is my favorite Zedla game in the series. I found it to be very unique first of all, it was not something that was just new in the Zelda series but something that might of not been done in games in general. Personally, I never felt too rushed to do anything. The whole point of the time limit was to set goals for yourself. No other game did that to me before. In RPGs or other games I played, I could usually do things on my own pace, but with MM I had to always plan what I wanted to get done next within the next cycle. I actually liked that challenge.
I also loved the world of Termina out of any other world in the Zelda series. The world just seemed more colorful and diverse out of any other Zelda game. I liked how you had the friend notebook to try to help people and solve each problem. And last but not least, the masks. Changing into different forms of Link was pretty neat, I liked that aspect a lot.
Oh, does anyone else agree that Majora's Mask is the toughest boss in the Zelda series? Sure, with the Fierce Diety mask he's nothing, but I have faced him before without it and he could whip me pretty good before I could beat him.

My favorite Zelda game would have to be Orac le of Ages for the Game Boy. Not because I think it’s the most spectacular one out there, it just holds the best memories for me. I spent months trying to beat it. I brought it along on all of my car trips and played it. I loved going through the dungeons, because (like in all) after I beat it I would have a sense of accomplishment. And then the story would continue. I didn’t even mind the beeps and dings for music. It was just Zelda to me. My favorite place would have had to have been the Zora’s underwater kingdom. I love swimming around down there, and I liked the music. I also enjoyed sneaking into the castle and shooting arrows and bombs at the guards and then running away. I also enjoyed getting new tunes for the harp.
All in all, this is the best Zelda game for me. Next would be WW, then Oracle of Seasons. I haven’t played any of the other Zelda games, so I can’t say much about them.

Well I'm not one for the 2D zeldas, mainly because of my age, If i was alive back then and kicking I probably would have gotten into it due to the "next gen" graphics, but nowadays to me they're retros which I can't get into. So I like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask equally. I'm leaning towards Majora's Mask slightly due to the fact I've replayed OoT loads and I'm getting (once again) slightly bored of it now. I like to discover glitches though. I'm sure I'll love them equally again soon when I've totally gotten bored of Majora's Mask. I got bored of Ocarina of Time because I just know off the top of my head where everything is, and when you know that much you know you've been playing it too much.
I have high hopes for twilight princess too, I hope it satisfies me.

Probably OoT, It was my first Zelda, it was just amazing in general, I am suprised that its not the top for that many others, but I guess not all people here feel the same way about the games.

I'm guessing he meant that as it's a strange game, not that the title was weird...You know, using title instead of game..So he thought it was a strange game...If that makes sense..I'm probably wrong, but I don't think he meant that the title affects the game at all.

Yeah, Link went to the older, darker Hyrule and stuff, so he did go to the Past I think. He goes between the two worlds and it's either the colorful one, or the dark one. Because in the old world, some things don't exist, and in the colorful one they do.
