I heard there was some way of changing your characters name, by cancelling your content ID and making a new character with the same name. Then then forces your old character, when re-registered, to have to change name. Unfortanately, I tried this and it didn't work.
Does anyone know of any other ways to name change?

It's not possibel to change a character name. Best and only solution is to delete your character and make a new one.

Well... the character isn't mine. I inherited it (Note: Not bought!). And I love their job and experience points, but I hate the name! I have my own character which is leveled quite highly too, but nothing beats cracking out some hot Flare love

Anyway, thanks for the reply. Hopefully someone will know something that you and I do not.

You could delete your character then come back hoping someone took your old name in the time you were gone.(Someone in my old Sky LS did this somehow.) Otherwise, make a new one.

You delete your character ....BUT , you have to have that spot open so that mean any mules you have on that account has to be delete because they will keep jumping into that spot. Than you have your friend make a mule using the same name your character had that you just deleted. Call SE give them a BOO-HOO story and you get your character back where it promps you that you need to change the name cause it was taken.

theres no website for it. you have to buy it from a game store. its $100 including hard drive for PS2, $50 for XBox, and somewhere between $20-$50 for PC. also, it costs $15 a month ($180 a year). if it would lower the prices, i would get it again (cmon, $180 a year?!?!)

12.95 is better than the 50$ a month I was paying in cable. Much more entertaining and less expensive. And you can get the game with hard drive and zilart expansion for Ps2 at around the 50$ mark on ebay. So it's really not that bad. And network cards for the Ps2 can be found at any EBx, GameStop or EB Games stores. Everyone is going the way of the PC. Personally, I like my games on a decent size screen.
