Seven schools are constantly 'at war' with each other, and the students within - both male and female - have become skilled fighters and constantly battle with rival schools. Their lives and fates are guided by strange jewels that contain the spirits and destinies of warriors from the Sangokushi period. One girl, Sonsaku Hakufu, has recently moved to Japan and is apparently destined to unite the schools as her counterpart united seven countries long ago. But, like all heroes, there is a darker side to her fate, and as always there is a constant struggle by those around her to break the chains of their own destinies and make their own lives.

There are about 13 episodes, and the characters in the anime are all based on characters in the ancient Chinese story, “The Three Kingdoms.” This anime has an extreme amount of fan service, but it’s action packed and fun to watch. I have all 13 episodes and I’m currently collecting the manga, which are titled “Battle Vixens.” Has anyone else seen or even heard of the manga of anime? If so, I want to know what happens to Kanu and Hakufu! >_<

I have the Chinese version of the manga. Or rather, my boyfriend has it but it is not complete and I keep it for him. It's quite nice, for a action and fanservice series, like Tenjou Tenge. I'll say that Tenjou Tenge has more of a dark side and crazy plotline. The English name really ticks me off though, because it's way too misleading.

I watched Ikki Tousen about a year ago. It was completely ridiculous with a huge amount of fan service. Still, I enjoyed the series, though I found a bit too short for my liking. Thinking back on it, I don't think there was any actual nudity in the anime. You had a lot of the anime girls clothes get tear to shreds during the battles, but no real shot of nudity. Though, you did get some lesbian action, if I'm not mistaken.

Ikki Tousen is basically Battle Vixens translated into English, to my knowledge.

I meant to say 'Battle Vixen' as the English name. 'Ikki Tousen' should means something like, 'one pwns thousands' or 'strength of a thousand' or something. I'll never pick up a book that has a title that says 'Battle Vixen' in Chinese or Japanese or English. >.> If it's 'Battle Bishie', it's a different case.

There's more nudity and some... 'scenes' in the manga, I think, but I can't be sure since I did not watch the anime. Around where does the anime plot stops?
