Yeah we know Rufus Shinra is in Advent Children and I bet we were all confused!
Well he says "I managed to get out before it collapsed". Well first of all it never collapsed (at least I think it didn't). Secondly WE SAW HIM ENGULFED IN FLAMES! Don't you think he'd of died? Even if the office did collapse he wouldn't have ever been able to escape don't you think? He ducked like a coward lol

Nice, a topic about my favorite FFVII character =p . Well, even before Advent Children I always had hopes that if a sequel were ever made, they might bring back Rufus. As cheesy as it is, in games and movies when someone supposedly dies in an explosion like that, they tend to turn up alive and kicking again later. So it didn't surprise me that much that he showed up again. Actually, I always expected wheelchair man to be Rufus, and I was glad to see it was indeed him.
As for what he said, that's kinda vague. But I can tell you he didn't get out by himself. It's actually shown in the intro of Dirge of Cerberus how he got out. Even though it's just a small cameo in the intro, it's still a DoC spoiler, so I'll black the next part out (highlight here) > In a flashback in the DoC intro they show Rufus being carried off in an ambulance, apparently in critical condition. That's all, but he was obviously nursed back to health. <

Cool, so he never got out himself. Well the way he suggests it in Advent Children I thought he escaped by himself. Well I didn't like Rufus in the game. I just knew him as the evil president who controls the world with fear, in a white suit and orange hair. In Advent Children he's totally awesome! (Scene 20, building jump with Kadaj,
