QUOTE (Ourprisoner.com)
Kieran Vogel will make Internet television history when he becomes the first person to give total control of his life to the Internet. Kieran, age 35, lives at home with his elderly parents and his 54 year old half brother. Kieran has never earned more than $10,000 a year working in pet stores while in pursuit of his lifelong dream of becoming a published writer and cartoonist. Kieran has now decided that almost anyone could do a better job in making his decisions and he is willing to prove it. OurPrisoner combines the best of prankish humor and the ultimate total life make over. For 6 months he will be voluntarily confined to a suburban home where he will live under the watchful and controlling eye of the Internet. Completely unscripted, every aspect of Kieran’s life will be streamed in real-time and unedited. His only sanctuary will be the bathroom, and if he spends too much time in there you can take away his privileges and rewards.Through an interactive media platform Kieran will live by the decisions the internet decides such as:

+What time he wakes up
+What he wears
+What he eats
+Who he dates
+What he watches

I was just Lmao-ing when I read about this in the newspaper this morning. Although, in the metro newspaper, it mentioned how much of a loser this Vogel guy is.

Anyways, I think this guy's going to get more abuse from the people deciding what he does on the internet than anything else. But, looking at some boundaires on the site, there are a a few things he's supposed to do, it's just we "help" him decide how to do it...

Do you think this guy's a crazy for even getting into this? =/
Bringing reality TV and the internet together, do you think this is such a good thing aswell? blink.gif

I dont think it's a good idea,to let internet control your life, especially who you date.
If this man wants to solve his problem with his dream job and current job, this is not the right idea for it.
There is a danger that somebody will tease him,and will make bad decisions about every aspect of his life just on purpose.I think his life is going to become like hell. If I were on his place,I would go crazy pretty fast biggrin.gif

The man should start writeing something, and if his work is going to be published and starts earning money on it,then he should quit his current job.

To answer the questinon: No,I think it's not good to bring together internet and reality shows. It will be to messed up.I always disliked reality shows, and the TV is enough too.

maybe this was a bit stupid explanation, but I said what I think about this

Oooowkay, this is completely ridiculous. A grown man who cannot make his own decisions, and so subjects himself to reality TV and having everyone making his own decisions for him. This is not a question of proving they make better decisions than he does, no, he knows the public will want to mess around with him, especially is they are given the option of taking away his only privaledges. This is about money and fame! It always is, which is why i loathe most reality TV shows out there today. They go in there thinking it'll give them a quick fix for their problems and a shortcut to fame. Fame for what?! Being too damn lazy to make his own decisions, and so unwilling to work for fame and work for his success that he sells potentially his very dignity to get his 15 minutes.

Pretty lame imo.
