So is anyone going to be going to a concert anytime soon?

I myself have a few in mind, and one is a definate.

Ozzfest 2006. Have looked into it a little, if I went it would only be because DragonForce is playing. Other then them, BLS, and Black Sabbath, there really isn't much good.

Ragnarok 06. Preety sweet metal-fest with an interesting lineup. I mean Elvenking. ##### Elvenking.

The definate is the Blind Guardian concert in December.

So what concerts?

I'll be seeing As I Lay Dying tour with some crappy bands on August 1st as they make a short stop here in Omaha during their leg on the Sounds of the Underground tour... I haven't seen them yet and since their release of Shadows Are Security I've really been waiting for a chance to check them out.

Soilwork is also making a stop here in october so I'm definitely going to be seeing that... Can't say much for the supporting bands, but it's friggin' Soilwork so I can't complain whatsoever.

I am going to try to go to Sounds of the Underground in August to see In Flames and Cannibal Corpse...they are favs of my finacee. I also want to try and make it to Family Values to see Dir en Grey, as I have become a fan as of late. If only Iron Maiden would come back to town...

Only set date I have tickets for is Warped Tour on August 5th. Should be interesting. Lineup isnt as strong as Id like, but there are still some bands worth seeing.

I might be going to Rockfest in July, shall be fun. They haven't released a whole lot of information about it, such as what bands are playing, and all that stuff, but even if the bands aren't the best, I will still have a good time.

I am going to Leeds festival this year. It is gonna be the only festival I am going to this year. Many bands will come, I think close to 100.
It has quite some of my favourite bands, such as Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Boy Kill Boy, Placebo, Flogging Molly and a shitload of other bands.

Too bad that not every band I like will be performing there, as in I like to see Starsailor, the Killers, the All-American Rejects, the Music, Snow Patrol and some others. They won't be coming, which is too bad, but instead I have many other bands I am interested in. So I am really looking forward to it.

I am going to the Leeds festival this year also, first time I have been to a music festival. I am really looking forward to it. There are so many bands performing, I was really stunned with the amount. A great many of them are my favourite bands of the moment, like Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Placebo, Flogging Molly etc.
The atmosphere is going to be amazing I believe, just thousands of people camping out, drinking, enjoying the music just as I will be. I can't wait.

And yes Elhaym, Pearl Jam will be performing. It is a band I will be hoping to see =).

After Ozzfest Iron Maiden are never coming back to the states again. Being pelted by eggs and other things by ignorant morons who think Ozzy Ozbourne is in any way shape or form a MUSICIAN doesn't really sit well with the british metal masters.

I kid, but I think it'll be awhile before they make a run here in the states again. I've never seen Maiden and would love to if they ever bothered to come anywhere remotely close to nebraska. There's a lot of bands making there way here lately, but not huge bands like Maiden.
