Ruciphera was pissed. Not only was there a pimple on her otherwise flawless face, her beloved(?) brother had been missing for the past two days and the officials of the Hellish government had been pestering her for the past forty-eight hours to take some action, sign some documents, do this and do that. And to make things worst, some stupid water demon flooded the entire Grand Hell Castle, so she was effectively stuck.

So yeah, she was pissed.

Seconds later, a high-pitched screeching reached even the furthest edge of the diabolical land and all of the three hundred million volcanoes in Hell promptly at the same time.

"**** IT! YOU ******** CAN DO WHATEVER THE HEAVEN YOU WANT! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! GO RAISE HELL IF THAT'S WHAT YOU ******** WANTS! STOP BLOODY PESTERING ME! AND IF ANYONE SEES HIM, TELL LUCIFER TO DRAG HIS SORRY *** HOME IF HE STILL WANTS HIS ****!"

With that, the Grand Hell Castle emitted a strange forbidding black aura and disappeared entirely from sight.

[OOC: In this roleplay, anything vaguely logical can happen. And I don't have a set plot in mind. So if you have something in mind, go ahead and post it.]

A messenger. That's what it had to be, for there was no other reason for its presence here.

Yes, a messenger. The shaggy dog, its thick coat matted close to its body, soaked through from the rain. The beast barely seemed to notice as it watched the young looking man - though, in truth, he was likely ageless - look about himself furtively. The dog took note of the barely visible wings that sprouted from the boy's back. The wings were hidden from the eyes of humans, but Cavall, reaching a hind leg up to scratch behind one ear, dislodging a flea, was no human.

Cavall wondered, as he rose to all fours and padded towards the winged man, what could've happened to require a messenger. Aside from the obvious, of course. It was true that much was seeming wrong in the world. The dead refused to stay dead, the seas and skies were no longer reliable forms of travel, crops failed, or flourished, in the warmth of summer and the cold of winter.

Rain fell, then snow, then hail, and suddenly it became too warm. The world, it seemed, was unbalanced, and Cavall suspected that perhaps this messenger was here to alert someone who would be able to act in his Master's stead.

As he neared the messenger, the dog's eyes focused sharply on the man.

Armor and weapons that were crafted solely to defend and combat things that were not of the mortal realm.

This angel, Cavall realized, and he could no longer deny the truth of the 'man's' nature, was no messenger.

He was a scout, the dog surmised, for a Heaven sent war party.

The stained glass window ominously glowed In the dank cathedral. Like a spotlight, It focused on Damien. In his pew. Praying, on his knees. To God. He was the only one In that small cathedral, or to his only knowledge. He would be out somwhere else amungst the other youth having a larf and let their life's pass them by without a care In the world. But he was In what we call a real perdicament. Such a thing to spend long nights contimplating what happens after death. Hands clenched together, they trembled. It was something of a Jewish collamity to him. Their religion was what he contimplated most about. Their religion Isn't based on a God, well It Is. But It's complicated. You can't think about God, you can't feel him. You can't even spell It. Yet they know It's there. So trivial. Because all they really need Is a Torah.

That's their God.

Damien looked off to the side to a Bible, his eyes turning away from the glass stained window. Hands coming away from each other and to the literature. Picking the Bible up. Open to page four-hundred and seventy three. Reading passage after passage. Damien closed his eyes and let out a slight sigh. He could remember going to church when he was young and feeling moved. Now he just sits there and feels nothing.

Close It. Tuck It away. Lean back. Sit. He leaned his head back on the pew, his eyes clenched shut. Some things never change. As an Infant you could sleep In church and no one would think a thing of It. He did It now. Alone and solitary.

You can't sleep In here.

Head coming forward from the edge of the pew he knew It would be disrespectful to even think of doing such a thing In the house of God. His feet coming firm onto the ground he stood up, adjusting his docile tie. Still coming fully clothed to this location. Turning on his heel he walked away from the pew. Thinking a prayer to himself as he left the cathedral.

The sun was bright, the air humid. The grass lamenting heat. Walking to the parking lot, reaching In his pocket, pulling out car keys. Beep. Beep. Damien looked back to the Cathedral, more scripture of the Bible coming back to him, 'For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God.' His hand came back to his pocket. And he felt It. The ultimate symbol of faith. Pulling It out Damien examined It. The crucifex. Damien gripped It In his hand and flung his arm back and then forward with an extreme amount of might letting go of the object. Throwing It. Turning around he opened the car door and got In, Immediately starting the engine. Pulling out, he pushed the gear stick forward. Leaving. He would never come back again.

'Oh no, I'm gonna hit the ground!' was the first thing she thought after escaping from heaven and heading to earth. Lotis was flying so fast that she couldn't stop herself and the ground was approaching very quickly. She had vanished the second after Lucifer had left heaven, she couldn't take it anymore.
"HOLY!!! AHHHH!!!!" there was a loud thump and she hit the ground, slidding quite a ways.
Lotis's face was scraped and bleeding along with her shoulder and arm. She hadn't know that it would have taken that long to fly, but that was the only way she could go.
"I am never doing that ever again..." she muttered to herself while getting up and finding herself on some pavement. Her cat ears perked up at an incomming car zooming by and she flinched. It was so loud here.
"Pavement, hmmm, hurts alot more than I thought it would." Shrugging she looked about and saw some buildings.
"I wonder where I am...." Looking on the ground, she saw a flash. She jumped on the flash and found some round object... it was so shiney! She looked it over, then bit it.
"Owie! my teeth!" glaring at the shiney, she threw it and it flew into some grass. She shuddered and looked over, a church.
"Oh hell no." she took off running as far from the church as possible, her black hair flowing out behind her.
"Hey mommy, what's wrong with that girl?" a child asked it's mother who was reading a book.
Lotis just kept running, not knowing or caring at where just as long as she was far from the church. As long as she found a place that was quiet, she'd be fine.
A park... some memories came flooding back to her, but she pushed them away. "No, not when I'm finally free." she muttered to herself again.
After a while, she stopped in a forest and looked around. Her ears perked up and an arrow zoomed past her face, barely missing her. Glancing over she saw an angel with a bow, it must have thought she was just a demon.
"Death to you and your master!" it shouted and shot at Lotis again. She dodged it with ease and pulled out her long sword, her mothers blade.
"I have no master, angel." she said just loud enough for the angel to hear her. She wouldn't fight this angel, but she would defend herself.

Joe reluctantly opened the door of his apartment, hoping there wouldn't be a repeat of yesterday. Truth be told, he had just about convinced himself that it was all some sort of a hullucination, and he'd booked himself an apointment at the local doctors clinic. So, he was feeling better as he walked down the street to work. He was a few minutes behind and decided he would take a shortcut. That is, not take the long way around.

The church Joe's father was a priest at was a small one, there was a small carpark, some grassy area where children would play. But he really didn't like going there, or even near the place. There was always a chance his father might be there, seeing off a few people, trimming hedges and the like. But thankfully, the Church seemed empty. A car was pulling out of the car park. He paused for a moment, straining his ears. He could have sworn he could hear something.

"HOLY!!! AHHHH!!!!"

Joe almost fainted when barely thirty metres away a young girl fell out of no where onto the pavement outside the Church. He almost went over to see if she was ok, although he knew in the back of his mind he would have to be dead, but stopped when he saw her sit up. Instead he dove behind some bushes and peeked out, watching the girl.

She stood up and looked about. Joe heard a car coming by and hid further into the bushes, hoping not to be seen. When he peeked out the again, the girl had turned to look at the Church. Even from a distance he could see her young face twist in emotion. Fear? Anger? Whatever it was she wasn't hanging around. She was off and Joe got up to follow her, but he was surprised to see just how fast she was. He knew he wouldn't have much of a chance so he stopped running. He looked around to see if anyone else had seen what transpired, but all that was there was a young girl and her mother up ahead where the Girl had ran.

Still somewhat shocked, Joe started walking towards hi work, which wasn't too far now.

'Joe! Come here!'

Damnit, it was his Father sweeping the church steps. He reluctantly turned and walked over to him. Great, he muttered under his breath.

"Then why dost thou look like an demon?" the angel asked, shooting another arrow but missing once again.
"Because that's just the way i look." Lotis answered and swiftly attacked the angel, pinning it to the ground.
"Leave or i'll have to resort to killing you." she told it, it started to fade and glared at her. Lotis got up and sheathed her long sword, "I think i'm gonna go back, it seemed a bit safer there." she muttered to herself and started to walk back to the place she first landed. Looking around, she saw no one was there anymore and stopped to look into a window that her refelction could be seen. Her scrapes were healing, but slowly for some odd reason.
"Must be this place..." she said and started walking back to the parking lot by the evil church. Staring at the sidewalk she almost didn't notice the man slowly approaching the church. She leand against the wall of a building, covered in slight shadows so she wouldn't be noticed.
'That man looks slightly like the priest..." she thought and her gray wings ruffled. Lotis didn't like churchs at all, she didn't like the fact that God was prayed to and more than half of the prays would be ignored. It rememinded her of her mother. Her cat ears twitched a bit as she listened in on the conversation between the priest and the man. Her tail moved a bit and she stared at the sky, pretending not to be listening or there at all.

'Damnit dad, why do you always have to be like this!'

What Joe had hoped to be a quiet chat with his father, was turning out to be much like every time he spoke to him.

'I just want what's best for you!'
'Did you ever think of what I wanted for myself? Instead of just what you wanted for me?'
'You don't come to Church anymore, you just sit around, content in living a sinful life. Don't think for one second I don't know what you do. Cavorting around with women, the drugs. All of it is Sin!
'For Christ's sake Dad, I don't do drugs, I don't cavort around with women. Where the hell are you getting this from!'
'See, right there! Taking the name of your Saviour in vain, swearing. It's all Sin!'
'You know what, this is it, I'm sick of you, I'm sick of your constant lecturing on Sin. I don't do drugs, or any of that other #######. I just came buy to see how you were going. Yet you launch into another sermon! Tell mum I said hello, but don't expect me around here anymore. I'm sick of this #####!

They were both standing standing in the middle of the aisle, oblivious to anything else, yelling at each other like schoolboys. Joe had his fathers height, but was perhaps just a bit taller. Although, he had enherited his mothers darker hair, there was still a startling resemblance between the two.

It went the same way every time, but this was perhaps different. Joe had never resorted to swearing, although he didn't regularly practice catholisicsm, he did still have some small form of belief, he had tried on every other occasion not to swear in a house of god, but this time, his anger spilled over, and got the better of him. Like every other time, Joe's father went to the altar, knelt, and prayed. Prayed for the Lord to deliver his son from the hands of the devil, to help him strengthen himself against the Sin that was ever-present in todays world. And Joe, as he turned back and started walking home, thoght of when things were better, and ultimately what led to the family's downfall.

(cool flashback effect)

Joe was 13 years old again, and sat laughing with his older sister Sarah. She was cool, he thought. She was the center of his world. They would always go to the beach, watch TV, go play in the streets with other kids. But when Sarah entered her last two years of high school, it all changed. She had gotten in with the 'wrong crowd' and was desperete to get rid of her tag as a good liittle catholic girl. So, she started going out at night, staying out late. Sometimes she wouldn't come home untill the next day. When she did, her dad would yell at her, telling her she was living in sin, and that she would go to hell for what she was doing.

Joe watched it all, either hiding behind a couch, or listening through the wall. It was hard, he didn't know what was going on, but he could see the effects it was having on the family. His mum's glass of wine at dinner would soon become two, and then three. Sarah would lock herself in her room, listening to loud music. Their parents didn't pay attention, but Joe could hear her, in between songs, crying, screaming. Or even throwing things about. Joe's father had become increasingly moody. Spending more and more time at the church. Praying more and more.

One night, Sarah didnt come back. Everyone thought she'd be back the next morning, but Joe had felt that something had happened. It wasn't untill two days later did Sarah return. Her eys were red, her hair was in a mess of tangles, and her school uniform she had been wearing was torn and didrty. She didnt talk to anyone, but gave a sad, wistful smile to Joe as she walked by him to her room. Joe's dad was yelling at her through her door, demanding that she open it. But to no avail. Their mum, sat in the dining room drinking glass after glass of red wine. Hoping to block the yelling out. Joe sat on his bed for hours praying to god that he would help his sister.

But it was not to happen. The next morning Joe's dad kicked down Sarahs door to find her dead. Lying on her bed, an empty bottle of pills lying next to her.

(end cool flashback effect)

Joe had stopped walking, and had turned back to look at the church. The white cross that was on the top once shone so brightly in his mind, but it was now dark, the paint long stripped away by nature. He was about to turn and go home when he noticed the same young girl leaning against the building. It couldn't have been he thought. But she just stood there staring at the sky. He wondered if he should go over to her, say something. He decided to talk to her, find out who she was, and at the very least, see if she was alright.

'Ahoy there!' He called out to her.

Lotis sighed and shook her head slightly at the fight between father and son. Her mother and her never got into fights like these two, it must be because the father was so religous and the son didn't truely believe what was taught to him. She glanced at her shoulder to see that her scrape was gone, no marks remained. Lotis sighed, it was going to take hours and hours of training to figure out how to heal faster here. Her cat ears perk towards the church a bit, hearing one of the men move. She was completely silent, waiting to see if she would go unnoticed.
"Ahoy there!" he called out to her, she shuddered a bit as a brezze came up.
Looking down from the sky she directed her golden yellow eyes to the young man. She frowned, for some odd reason she had a feeling that she had seen him somewhere before. It was impossible thought, for she had never been to earth before. She just kinda went on staring for a while without saying anything, trying to figure out why she felt like she knew him... the brezze picked up slightly and brought her back to reality, making her reilize that he was still standing there.
"Hello." she said in her musical voice. Her eyes kept on his, as if glued to them. Finally she broke eye contact, feeling self consious and looking at the sky again. Why did she feel as if he could see straight through her? These emotions were strange... was it just that this was earth? She nodded slightly to herself and thought, 'Yes, it must be that.' shuddering she looked again into the young mans eyes, what was he? about eighteen she guessed.
She looked down at the ground, seeing a slight flash. It was another one of those hard round shiney things, she was never going to pick another of those up again.

If there was any being, be it host or horde, who could beat the extensive Angelica/Demonolica vulgarities spilling from Zerillia's lips, it probably would only be Lucifer himself, and the very demon after her poor behind as per daily routine.

As usual, the angel found herself running over rooftops, flying miles above sea level, and speeding through the streets, roads and alleyways in her frantic, but useless as per normal, attempt to escape Yaneira. As usual, also, more than one blood red lip prints had found their way on her cheeks even as she continued her long long, almost neverending, run.

It seemed almost an eternity later that a little church came into view, and without a second of hesitation or thought, the angel swooped down towards her sanctuary. Not that the demoness could not enter the building, but now she would have to pit her pride against her daily game of falling her prey.

Just like usual, Yaneira decided on the former, and left the angel just before either of them reached the church.

//Halleluyah, thank God.// Zerillia breathed huffily as she turned around to watch the retreating back of the demoness.

Before she could continue further though, a sudden impact at her back threw her off balance and onto the ground, against two humans.

//No, one human and... one hybrid... Lotis? What's she doing here?// were her blurry thoughts as she groggily picked herself up to look blearily at the two.

'Are you ok?' Joe asked the girl with concern.
'Yes, I'm fine.' She wasn't looking at him, but downwards.
'Are you sure, I mean, you must have fallen quite a bit. That pavement isn't too soft.
'Yes yes, I really am fine.' She repeated in her strange voice. He couldn't quite place it, but the sound played in his ears, and held his attention.
'Your bleeding, you know?' There was a slight trail of blood leading from her hairline.
'I am?' She looked surprised, like it wasn't something that happened to her.
'Yes, here, let me take care of that.'

Joe knelt down, took off his backpack and reached in. He had a small pack he kept for these sorts of things. It had tissues, a bandage, and some disinfectant. He wet the bandage and dabbed at her face. He lifted her dark hair to find the cut itself, but when he looked, he couldn't actually seen one.

'What, how. Where's your cut gone?'
'I don't know.' She shifted about, still looking down.
'Well look, I don't live too far from here. So, if we head back there you can get cleaned up.'

He looked down at his watch, it was a silver rolex, well, fake rolex. It was given to him by his uncle two years ago. Her eyes followed his wrist up as he looked at it. He looked at her and watched her as she studied it. She slowly reached out for it. Her eyes filled with yearning.

'My, watch? You want to look at my watch?' She nodded. He took it off and gave it to her. She snatched it out of his hand and bit it.
'Ow!' She looked angrily at the offending object and looked set to throw it away. Joe reached out and took it off her
'Jeez, it isn't for eating.' He put the watch back on and looked back at her. 'Come on, let's get going.' He turned and started walking but bumped into someone, knocking whoever it was over. He looked down to see a young girl of about 16 or 17 lying on the ground.

'Damn, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there.'

He held out his hand to help her up, she waved him aside. She stood up and Joe got a good look at her. She was, for lack of a better term. An albino. Her hair was white, her eyes were red, and her skin was much like the prized marble used by artists for sculptures.

'Are you ok. I didn't mean to knowck you over. My name is Joe, and this is...' He trailed off and for the first time he realized he didn't actually know her name. He turned back to the dark haired girl.

'What is your name?' He asked her.

The angel hardly seemed to notice it had a tail, let alone the fact that his own tail had a tail of its own, wagging curiously behind the gray haunches as it trotted along behind the armed and armoured angel.

Cavall wondered where this boy - despite his knowledge of the creature's inability to be placed into an age category, he still thought of him as a youth - was heading to.

The answer became clear to the once faithful hound as the boy slipped into an alleyway quietly, as though trying to avoid being seen or heard. The angel, with a short, but powerful, flick of his wings, hopped over a battered and broken fence to land in the rear yard of a larger looking building.

Cavall waited a moment before he squeezed between two loose pickets in the dilapidated fence border, trotting at a faster pace to catch up with the scout. The boy moved to the rear corner of the building, peering around towards the front before he stepped quickly and quietly to push open the back door and slipping inside, a dog rushing to nip through the doorway behind him before it closed with a faint click.

Inside, wooden benches, rich crimson carpets and delicately crafted glass windows screamed the name of whose house this was.

But it was the aura, no, the presence, more than any of these things, that told Cavall where he was.

He'd followed an angel into a church of God, for better or for worse.

((OOC: Not sure where you were going with this Jove, but it seems like a good place to introduce myself.))

Gabriel stood, her back turned to the door of the church. She had postrated herself earlier at the altar to recieve orders from God as to their course of action. She had also sent some of her lesser cohorts out into the city to survey the damage caused by Lucifer's troublemaking. She sensed her scout return before he entered the church.

"Lady Jibril!"

".. Yes, my son?"

"It would seem the demons are attempting to kill many God-fearing people. As many as they can to weaken the faith before their assault on Heaven itself."

".. Mm, I see. That would make God's power slightly weaker. But, as their protectors, we must bring the human race their salvation and return unto the Fallen Ones their eternal Damnation."

Then, Gabriel felt something. A slight twinge, as if there was something here with them, but she wasn't sure.

"Lady Jibril, what is it?"

".. Were you followed, Zaphikiel?"

"Followed?"

"You must remember. Demons will take many forms while on Earth. They are usually more powerful than they look, and operate as spies and assassins. But this one has walked right into one of Heaven's generals."

Gabriel then turns, drawing her sword and pointing it at the dire hound hiding behind one of the pews.

"Show yourself, Hellhound."

"Now tell me, the Potato Warrior, where your leader resides, you vile pig!!!" the Potato Warrior said.

"Meow!" was the vile pig's reply.

"Don't you play dumb with me, it ain't gonna cut it!"

"Meow!!"

"No. Bad. I demand you tell me before I fry you with my awesome powers granted onto me by... my dead... potato brethren!"

"MEOW!!!"

The vile pig scratched The Potato Warrior's hand, causing him to drop the vile pig, which in turn ran off after landing onto its feet.

"Hmph. I failed once more, my brethren. But the evil that slew the Prince of the Cheese will not be forgotten! I'll find you vile pig!"

The Potato Warrior at that point ran off into the darkened alley to search for more evil to destroy.

"The evil hides within us all, and I know this," he monologued, "The evil hides within us all. However those who show their evil through the secretion of evilness onto the outside world and impurify it by the said secretion, will be punished by me!"

((Work for me, Sammy <3 I was just gonna go with it till somebody picked up the loose end))

The exchange, though brief, was quite interesting to Cavall. The dog, crouched behind the altar the young scout had come around before delivering his report, considered this new information.

So... Hell was waging war on Heaven, was it? That explained a lot, though it made for a lot more questions than it did answers. Like why, for that matter? Lucifer was, as far as Cavall knew, bound to his fiery depths. Which meant that any attempt to overtake Heaven would be easily turned aside by Him, without the Lord of the Underworld to guide his armies.

And if Lucifer had somehow escaped... How? And what did he think to gain by fighting here, on earth?

It took a moment for him to realize he'd been called, though he resented the assumption that he was a 'hellhound', or any such sort of creature of Lucifer. He skulked out from behind the altar, head hung low, almost guiltily, looking up at the 'female', the one the scout had called 'Jibril'. The name sounded familiar, somehow, but pronounced oddly.

Cavall lifted his head slowly. He wanted no trouble here, and there was no feasible way that he could explain himself to these angels. The forces of Heaven were sometimes more dangerous than those of Hell when angered, and they were often quick to act on their suspicions.

He wagged his tail hopefully, and let out a bedraggled sounding 'Wurf?'

Gabriel arches an eyebrow as she looks at the wolflike creature.

"... You are not one of Lucifer's spies, are you?" asks the armoured woman.

The dog replies with a rather irritated, almost insulted growl. Gabriel sheathes her sword, raising an arm out to stay the sword of Zaphikiel as well.

"Put it away. I don't think he means harm."

"But, my lady! It's obvious he's a spy!"

"Not to me. And I am your general. Stay your sword."

Gabriel gives the animal a gentle smile, kneels, and holds out a hand in greeting.

"I am Gabriel. What are you and what are you doing here?"

((Short, but it's an introduction.))

The dog trotted forward a couple steps before sitting heavily onto his haunches. He wanted to apologize for growling, but it really was, he felt, quite rude to be asked if he was some sort of demon dog. Sure, he wasn't the prettiest canine, but Cavall still felt that the assumption that he was furry evil incarnate was unfair.

He tilted his head as he looked at the angel who addressed him. He'd seen this one somewhere before, he was sure of that, but the name 'Jibril' was unfamiliar. The name 'Gabriel', however... One of the four Archangels? It was possible, he supposed, but he'd always assumed that the presence of His four greatest generals was more... impressive than this one's.

Oh, surely, she had the wings, and the armour, the look, and all that. But this one... She seemed subdued, somehow. Perhaps, Cavall assumed, she was merely trying to keep a low profile.

Unable to really answer her question, he merely tilted his head, let out a soft bark, before tilting his head back to expose the silver chain about his throat, and the handcrafted tags that it bore.

Lotis stared at Zerillia for a few moments, for some odd reason she couldn't remember her... she knew that she had met her before, but earth must be affecting her memories. Why? She didn't know. Lotis rubbed her cheek where her tooth hurt and frowned slightly at Zerillia before looking up at Joe and realizing that he had asked her a question.
"Oh, sorry, what was that?" she asked him.
"What is your name?" he repeated.
"Lotis Rayne." she said blankly, why couldn't she remember the people from heaven? What was wrong with her?
"Shi-" she muttered under her breath, she was loosing her memories quickly. If she didn't find away to keep them, she wouldn't even know why she was here or who her own mother was.
"Hey, that reminds me, what's your name?" Lotis asked Joe.
"Joe Winfield."
Lotis's golden yellow eyes looked at Zerillia.
"Your name..... it's... Zerlia? No.... Zeral? That's not right...." she continued like this for a while before finally getting the name right. "Zerillia!"
She blinked, she still couldn't remember who the girl was.
"You two have met before?" Joe asked.
"Yeah, but I can't remember where..." Lotis said, trailing off.
There was an erie silence before Lotis randomly said, "You really need to get rid of that shiney, it hurts!"
She blinked as Joe started to laugh really hard, "What? It's true!" she said grinning.
Kronik
Damien pulled out of the church parking lot, turning on the road, now driving down the road. He came to grips with what he just did. Everyone needs someone listen to them. And he just seemed to stop. Looking to the passenger seat, his eyes fell upon his bible. Eyes looking back to the road, chewing on his Index finger nail, till It ripped off with ease. The nail settled between his upper and bottom teeth, he chewed on the nail. He needed something to chew on and he was all out of bubble gum. "Well...#####." Switch gears. This car was an a shrine. Not literally, but his eyes fell upon the rosery that was around the rearview mirror. He kept his eyes on the road, still chewing the nail In his mouth. Sometimes tossing It around with his tongue. Everything In this car had some kind of significant religion aspect to him. Was It suddenly hot In here, or was It just him? His hand rapidly, rolled on the lever, the window lowering. 'As for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.' Biblical references, he could recall a million and a half Invading his mind, even occurences from The Inquisition. Everyone was taught that salvation was acheivable and sins could be forgiven. Even Jesus himself, 'Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven,' Damien spit the nail out the window, there was more to this passage, 'but anyone who blasphemies against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.' There was the one unforgivable sin of denial of the Holy Spirit. Do that and you are eternally damned. It says so In The Bible, twice. Damien's eyes fell once again over the book. A sick feeling creeping Into his stomach and throat. Maybe he was making this too dramatic, too serious. But, still. It's a lifestyle a guideline of life that Is required to be followed. In such old times, people would be burnt at the stake for not believing In Christianity. Thank God, we have evolved...or have we? The Rapture was killing those who did not believe and that was scripture. Scripture Is law that Is known to be all knowing and Infallible. Though, even Christians recognized The Inquisition as a mistake. Does that mean their blaspheming against religion? Damien shook his head lightly, "Stop It." His fingers tensed around the wheel of the car. A million biblical references and thoughts flowing through his mind. He struggled to realize he was In a dangerous situation If he let his mind wander. 'Kill them all, for God knows His own.' Quoted from a papal during The Inquisition asking If Catholics should be spared. Catholics weren't even considered saved people, they were considered sinners.

Damien had failed. He had failed. It was too late to turn away unscathed. A semi truck came straight on towards him. Jerking with amazing might on the wheel, the car swerved and crashed Into a ditch, his face and body leaning on the wheel. The only thing being heard was the whine of a honk being held down by his own weight.

Fluffy pounced on the nano-mouse whose blood-red eyes looked so innocent. This mouse, however, had stolen several of Fluffy's cans of tuna. It had also smoked her/his entire stash of catnip. This was what pissed Fluffy off the most, and was the main reason (s)he was attacking the nano-mouse.

Nano-mice were created when Lucifer screwed everything up. Several other bad things happened after the brilliant flash of white light, including Michael Jackson's whiteness melting through his skin and forming a child molesting lump of plastic...

Anyway, as far as Fluffy was concerned, the nano-mice were the worst thing that had come about after the flash, as (s)he called it for short. The nano-mice were just normal mice that grew much larger than normal, and got a neon green tint to their skin. Nano-mice have also implemented the ideas of homosexuality, bondage, sadomasochism, and other sexual acts considered by Fluffy and the majority of the cat population to be sinful, evil, and just plain wrong. Due to the large libido that nano-mice posses, they have taken to having sex whenever one meets another. Thanks to Fluffy and other cats, though, there are so few nano-mice that they rarely meet, and the nano-mice who cannot control their desires tend to commit suicide.

Just as Fluffy pounced, the nano-mouse produced a small knife and stuck it straight up. It was too late. Fluffy could not stop. The knife plunged into her/his stomach. Or it would have, but as it was such a small knife, and as Fluffy had such thick fluffy fur, the knife grazed off of her, leaving only a small cut. While the cut was almost nothing, the nano-mouse's elbow knocked the wind out of Fluffy. (S)He rolled to her right side, gasping for air. The nano-mouse took this opportunity to go for the kill. It closed in on Fluffy, saliva dripping from its teeth, staring hungrily at Fluffy's throat.

The nano-mouse jumped onto Fluffy, punching her/him, and biting at her/his throat. Fluffy stayed down. The nano-mouse's teeth sunk through some of the flesh. It punched Fluffy in the gut, causing Fluffy to cough up blood. The nano-mouse waited. It always savored the moment before the kill. After a few seconds, the nano-mouse decided that he was done savoring. He bent over Fluffy's seemingly disabled body, knife in hand. Fluffy closed her/his eyes, waiting. He raised his hand, and then brought his hand down-

"WOOF! Woof! Yo, Gee away from my homie, Yo!" A white dog bounded up and knocked the nano-mouse off of Fluffy. The white dog then bared his teeth, growling. "I pity yo' dea' white fur, biotch." The white dog charged.

It was at this point that Fluffy opened her/his eyes. The first thing he saw was the white dog. The white dog's name was OG Dealer. At least that is what he called himself. He specialized in selling illegal narcotics. OG Dealer was Fluffy's catnip dealer.

The nano-mouse attempted to flee, but OG Dealer was too fast. OG Dealer knocked the nano-mouse into a tree. Fluffy was now up and moving again. (S)He extended her/his claws and, for the second time since the brilliant flash of light, Fluffy pounced. This attempt was much more accurate than the first, and Fluffy's aim was dead on. Her/his claws punkchered the nano-mouse's skin, and blood poured out. The nano-mouse was tough, though, and he kicked Fluffy five feet to the side. Before OG Dealer could attack, the nano-mouse pulled out a dog whistle and blew it. It hurt OG Dealer's ears incredibly, and he was down for the count. Fluffy was up already, and so the nano-mouse charged into him. What the nano-mouse had not realized was that he had ran them both off of a cliff.

Ruciphera sighed as she placed another icepack on her forehead, her eyes not leaving the All Seeing Mirror at her bedside. Due to her recent unleashing of her infamous temper, it had backlashed on her as hell's worst case of fever.

Resembling a jellyfish as she laid on her bed, unable to move more than a metre for longer than a minute, the demoness could only entertain herself with the chaos happening on earth. But it was enough for her, whose best friend was Sloth, and it was almost like paradise.

Until her phone rang. "Ruciphera! Where is your stupid brother?"

"Hi there, Wrath. What has Lucifer done to you?"

"My wings are pink! Bright neon pink! And Archangel Uriel planted a Holy Tree thing above my palace!"

"Uhh... that's out of my jurisdiction, Wrath."

"Get your butt out of your house and find your stupid brother!"

"I'm having a fever, you know. I can't move."

"Oh... take care of yourself and drink a lot of fluids, okay?"

"I will. Bye bye, Wrath."

"Oh, by- WAIT!!!"

Ruciphera sighed again. "Maybe I should send somebody to search for him."

Joe wiped a tear of laughter from his cheek. He looked at Zerilia, then at Lotis. He wasn't really sure what to make of them both. On one hand, there was one, dressed all in black leather, long black hair, and... Ears!? It was the first time he actually noticed them. They were gray, cat ears. It was something straight out of some Anime, He stared at her longer than he meant too, and she shifted uncomfortably.

'I'm sorry Lotis, but, you have cat ears. Your ears aren't normal.' Lotis stepped back, looking about nervously.

It was then he realized that the people he was with weren't exactly normal, if they were even human at all. He turned to look at Zerilia. He looked carefully at her. A young girl, probably about the same age as Lotis, but...

'Jesus Christ! You have wings!'

Lotis was a bit surprised, but Zerilia. She was both shocked, and, he thought, quite angry.

'How dare you take the Saviors name in vain!' She didn't seem to have actually heard what he said, but after a second it registered. 'You, you can see my wings?'

'Jesus, oh god, holy #####. Who are you two! I want some answers.' Joe calmed himself down a bit, and regretted having sworn. He stepped back and looked at the two. 'Can someone, one, or both of you, please, just tell me who you are, and what is going on.' His mind reeled as he recalled yesterday events. 'Just yesterday, I saw an Angel, and some demon thing, fighting in the street, and, I believe either you two are connected, or you know what's going on. So please, just tell me what is going on?'

Lotis stared at the ground, wondering at why Joe hadn't noticed her ears, tail, or wings before this. Was it strange to have them? She didn't know.
"Joe, I'm going to tell you straight out.... I'm half angel half demon. I don't know about Zerillia though, I still can't remember much about her." She chewed her lip with her slightly larger than normal canines and continues, "Lucifer found a way into heaven, so the world you live in is out of balance. I escaped heaven a few moments after he left, so I can't tell you much more than that."
Her wings ruffled at the thought of the imbalance and she looks up, Joe had finally seen her wings and tail. His mouth was dropped and she looked back down at the ground. Her cat ears twitched with obivous annoyance and she leaned back against the building wall.
"You might want to close your mouth before a fly decideds to pay your stomach a visit." she said without even glancing at Joe.
"Is that why your eyes are yellow?" He asked her.
"Yes, the demon part of me is more visable than the angel part. That makes me a target for angels that don't know who i am, even though it's quite hard not to notice me in a crowd of angels."
Lotis shuddered for a minute and looked around, as if feeling someone's eyes on her. She saw no one but Joe looking at her.
"Does anyone else feel as if we're being watched?" she asked.
Her ears pricked up and she turned her head, spotting a demon messenger watching them.
"Zerillia, you want to fight this one, or shall i?"

Fin lit threw the sky in search of survivors, as he flew threw the city- weaving and scrying between buildings. His disguise was slightly inconspicuous, but in the form of an eagle he would merely illicit a few acquired glances. His main motive was to search for the people who survived the plane crash, but a gut feeling guiding him threw this urban jungle like a beacon. Fin, being the serious angel he was followed without protest, knowing that their was a purpose to this tugging. It pulled him till he found himself flying over a single car on the road.

But then, with a sound of a horn the car began to go faster and faster. At such low altitudes. Fin in eagle form could not keep up. He had no choice but to revert back . First the eagle’s wings radiated a white light, and elongated to that of an angel. It took but one mighty flap to send the eagle easily passing speeds of 100 miles per hour, all along the eagle was losing it’s form, giving way to a black shadow trapped between the wings. The speed boost from the angel wings brought Fin a good deal ahead of the car. He spread his wings in a 180 degree turn, and landed heavily on the hood of the car. It spun out of control due to the new crushing weight. It spun until it crashed into a tree. Fin still stood on top of the front hood. His hood covered his head, so the only thing that was visible on him was his radiant white wings and shadowy Grim Reaper rope. The stark contrast of colors (shades) mirrored his left and right hands. Speaking of which; Fins left black hand was pulsating. With each beat black light emanated from it. This hand - that Magic only came when it was needed to complete a Job.

This proved that Fin was meant to be here. The glowing hand was an vague message from whom which is I in charge. Fin extended his left arm and released his power. Black mist seeped from his palm as soon as he opened it. The mist seeped into the top of the car. The roof tore off with great force, and was sent flying. Fin focused the mist - letting it flow through him with efficiency. The black aura lifted the boy from his seat. Fin guided the boy to the ground, standing him upright . He also used the Aura to heal the boys wounds. “ Come to consciousness” Fin Commanded, and the boy did just that. Looking the boy right in the eye Fin commanded with a question “ Why am I hear”. He did not mean to come off like he did, but Death did not know compassion or empathy. He could not in his real form say what he said with a bit of decency. What came off from his deep morbid voice sounded nothing less then harsh then a death sentence from Death himself.

He was staring Death Itself In the eyes. How many people could say that? No one. Because no one escapes death. Repeat. No one escapes Death. Damien piped up with an once of curiousity. Asking this...thing what was going on, what was happening. Why was he here? And without stalling, without even consideration or thought. Death told him.

My God the Irony. What would come next after the response? Begging? Come on now. How many people beg Death and remain alive. This Is ##### Death. The thought was still having trouble settling In his mind. The only thing that caught him off guard was that there was no scythe. Not the traditional Image of the Grim Reaper we are used to. No no, this fellow was a mix of light and darkness Into one being. He couldn't even consider If Death himself realized the way he looked. Maybe he doesn't, the passion of taking lives a high substance drug for him..or her. Who knew If Death even had a gender.

Licking his lips, Damien asked, "Got a name, do you?" Probably first time this creature ever heard that before. How many people ask for the name of a person that's going to kill them? The black aura seeped back over Death and focused Itself Into It's left arm. It answered him. "Fin?" Sounds like a male's name. Damien shifted scratching the back of his leg with the tip of his shoe. How he must've looked right now. A nice little suit and tie with still existing red marks on It. Well, Death just didn't pop out of the sky to start a conversation and chat about women, cars and booze and be your ##### buddy. He was all business and Damien knew that. Only so many times you can hear or read about It. Merciless, cold. Lacking what we would call human chacteristics. Maybe that's what made the human race so weak. Damien always pictured himself dieing at the end of the world being thrown Into the lake of fire for his eventual lost of faith. But now he seriously had to think of where he was going. Was this the end of the line? What was his afterlife path? #####, seriously doubting throwing away the cross now. Biting his bottom lip gently, Damien asked with the most courage he's ever had.

"Where we going?"
Yume-chan
"Well... I think I've had enough demons for the day." Zerillia admitted, rubbing a hand along her arm where the feel of Yaneira's grip lingered. "He's all yours."

A demonic grin appeared on Lotis' face at that, and she drew her long sword, boots clicking softly against the tiled floor as she neared the messenger.

"So, how much of my wings can you really see?" Zerillia asked thoughtfully, turning to Joe, who seemed quite absorbed in gradual shock at the turn of events for the past few minutes.

It took probably twenty odd seconds before the boy blinked and stared at her and Lotis' figure for a further few seconds before asking, "You're not going to help her?"

"Since it's Lotis, I trust her to handle it." the albina shrugged simply, then proceeded to repeat her question to the human.

"Err, all of it?" had been the reply, the youth sounding rather hesitant as he eyed the feathered appendages extended from her back.

"So... what colour do you see on this part here?" a finger tapped at the ends of the wings.

"Gray."

"Damn it."

This world, void of nature. Void of the spirits of the earth. With each passing automobile, a build up of smog and residue spread, a plague through out the air.

In. Out. In. Wheeze. Out. Airi's lungs desperately attempted to filter through the thickness -- longing for purity. Air is poison. The thought just did not seem right. Where were the angered spirits, bringing havoc upon the earth for the desolate waste it had become, while the young girl collapsed upon herself? Tears spread, a waterfall, flowing over her cheeks.

A small crowd of people gathered around, staring at the sight before them. From their open, empty gaze, they cared not of what was wrong of her, but rather of how peculiar she seemed: a reject from an anime convention crying, curling into a tight ball on the concrete side walk.

//This... this is a curse from the gods. I will not fail. I... I must be strong.//

Pestulant little whelp.

//Evil spirit, please... release your hold on my being.//

Unfortunately, the credit is not mine to take. Now, get up! I will not lie below these men.

//If it is not your doing, then you have no reason to take hold of my being. Leave or I will exorcise you.//

Bitch, you fail to recognize who you are dealing with.

Hatred. Full. Thick. Hatred filled the entirety of her being -- an enveloping toxic. Immediately, the tightly-knitted Airi uncurled and lifted herself up. The act seemed as if she was floating, carried by the emotions coarsing through her being.

"You mother ##### bastards! I am not a ##### spectacle!"

Hastely, the crowd dispersed.

//This world disgusts me, but I will not have myself speaking with people in such a manner, demoness! You will be exorcised!//

Child your body is mine. When I meet Lucipher once more, you will become my spawn. A lilm. A succubus.

No longer was her body plagued by the weight of the air.

((OOC sorry i've been gone for a week, we were going to get high speed but can't.))

Lotis chuckled as the messenger started to run, she was by far faster than it. 'I think i'll tease it a bit' she thought to herself. Yes, she was being ruthless and cruel, but it helped her keep her mind on track. She jumped in-humanly out of sight, just to keep the messenger in its place. It looked around and began cautiously walking along the street. It didn't know that Lotis was watching its every move, its every step. Just when it thought she wasn't going to attack, Lotis slipped out quietly from where she was and thrust her long sword through its middle. It collapsed and she jumped on it, pinning it to the ground.
"Where is Lucifer?" she asked in a harsh tone.
"I don't know!" it hissed back at her.
"Well, well, well, if you don't know i'm going to have to play a game with you."
It could tell she wasn't joking, and it struggled to get free. Lotis overpowered it and shook her head sadly.
"Pathetic, i thought this would be more of a challenge." shrugging she sliced off the messengers head and left its body on the street.
Sheathing her sword, she started to walk back to Joe and Zerillia. Her boots clicked softly on the pavement and she stared at the sidewalk. 'Where is he...' she thought to herself. When she arrived back to Joe and the albino angel, she stared thoughtfuly at Joe for a few more seconds. She still didn't know where she had seen him before... he looked so familiar.

"I'm sorry..." A couple bumped past her. "Please forgive me..." Another. "I do apologize..." Another. "I will wash myself free of my transgressions."

"Mommy, why is that lady so odd?" It was but a young boy approximately eight years old who stated this, innocent to whom he was speaking of.

"Sweety, it's called a psy-cho-lo-gic-al disorder," The elderly women stated, drawing out the word as if her son was an alien to the language. "Now, dear, let's walk away before the mean lady comes." Their pace quickened, hoping to camoflage themselves in the crowd of pedestrians.

Despite the preoccupation of the priestess, passing from on-looker to on-looker with her apologies, a small voice in the back of her head sounded:

There was a time when mothers feared for their son's lives at the very thought of me!

//These words... they taste strange...//

It's not surprising that they would. What I find interesting is that you haven't been apprehended, child. Not that I would allow that to happen.

//Apprehended?//

Ah, the ignorance. WALK, or you will draw attention to yourself. That is not planned out for you by the spirits. The last sentence seemed thought out, not in advance, but almost as a second-thought.

//Demoness, give me your name.// As commanded, Airi moved with the flow of those around her.

Ah, the first step to most any exorcism. First --

//Lucipher. Answer me this, spirit. Who is he?//

Ask him yourself when we find him. There is only one person I can think of who would know where he is.

Airi felt control slip, if only for a second.

"Spirit of the air, I beg of you. Allow rain."

Hoping the rain will wash you clean? And what? Even if you do manage to exorcise me, another host is always available. Not a single person here will be able to hold me back. Think of the children. I have killed so many. One. By one. By one. I must say, it was utter bliss. Revenge against these damn men is such utter bliss.

//Witch! Who would help you?! Who?!//

I have a feeling she'll rather enjoy the visit, seeing how I had a fling with her brother.

A couple steps ahead lay but a single bench of iron and wood. There, she found a place to rest.

//Who?//

Ruciphera.

"Cavall? Your name?"

The dog nods, barking softly.

"Hm, you're no ordinary dog. But, there is nothing sinister about you. Come. You should stick with me for a while. It is quite dangerous, with Hell's armies on the move."

The other angel, Zaphikiel, is a younger looking man, appearing to be only a boy in his late teens and of middle-eastern descent.

He speaks again, "My lady, let's move on. It would be unwise for you to stay in one place for too long."

Gabriel stands and nods. "Very well. Let's move."

The three are about to walk through the front door of the church before the door explodes. Zaphikiel shoves Gabriel to the floor as a giant, clawed hand grabs him around the waist and snaps him in two like a twig.

Vincent walked the devestated city, with his black cloak and a hood covering his face leaving his identity unknown. He went from building to building, looking for people. Every time he found some form of life, he took out his Muramasa and killed it. With every person he killed, his blade grew stronger, feeding off of the souls of those who he killed.

"Soon, my Muramasa will surpass all others in power."

He continued on his rampage walking down the city street.

"Not even God will be able to stop me."

Vincent continued walking, looking for souls to take. He soon realized that there were now no survivors, so he continued to walk, not knowing where he was going. "Its been a long time."

Looking bored as she strolled down a street in the humans' world, Ruciphera reached out with her mind to attempt to locate her missing brother, hoping that she was lucky enough to have him in range.

Her powers were severely limited on Earth, even after The Screw-up, but she had no choice since she could not personally investigate the trail that Lucifer had left if she stayed in the underworld. So she left a simple note with the officials and left for the little town where a scout of hers had spied some her brother's aura lingering there.

Disguised as a normal office lady, Ruciphera frowned as she neared the portion of the town where one of its many churches was located. Though being near holy objects or land made her uncomfortable, it was not as troubling as the different auras she could see in the area. Not wanting to have unpleasant surprises, she forced her mind to range further and promptly started swearing.

What the hell is an archangel, an angel of death, a insanely large number of angels, demons, hybrids and being with strange vibes, and most importantly, 'her', all doing in the area?

[OOC: Like I told Yume, let's get this straightened out just a bit. The town has a number of churches. One is where Lotis, Joe and Zerillia are at, and another is where Gabriel, Cavall and Leviatine are. Okay with that?]

“To hell, if you don’t tell me why I am here.”

Fin was not joking either. He was dead serious when it came to matters of business, but before the boy could answer a pleasant jingle rang from Death’s direction. Using his left hand Fin materialized a black phone; dangling off of it a skull key chain. Turning sideways as not to be bothered, the grim reaper answered his phone.

“Okay, sure, I’m on it. It won’t take long, okay, Peace. Loves ya bye”

The words were casual, but coming from Death they came across about as alive as cardboard. Turning back to the boy; the grim reaper motioned for the boy to follow him through the newly materialized doorway. On the other side was the ocean docks and a boarded up red tuna factory. Fin looked down at the awestruck boy and began to explain the situation.

“Listen now. There are people in this building. If you manage to kill them I will not only answer your questions, but also grant you one power outside of the human spectrum. I will be back when your job is accomplished”

With that Fin sporadically manifested into an eagle and flew inland. Before the kid could even move, an angel appeared in front of him. This one was a girl with long black hair in a white robe. She did not say a word; she merely touched him to relay information. And as quickly as she came she disappeared.

The telepathic message read:
In the building you will find two people. These people were supposed to die in a plane crash, but do to extraordinary circumstances they survived the in counter. Do not worry for you can kill them, but be weary. Each one of them has the strength of ten men. On top of that; one is a guy and one is a girl, who are deeply in love with each other. Please be careful, and forgive Fin for his non descriptiveness. He is in a bit of a hurry. Also there is a sword resting by your feet. Use this if you must.

It took a draining amount of power to send his clone with the boy, while masking the situation, from the kid as well as the public. But now that the child was gone and no one was in the area. Fin did not have to mask the situation any longer. This black cloak faced the other black cloak.

“Demon, misguided human, no matter. I can sense the blood on you, but your rain of terror ends here. In Fin’s left hand one of the most respected weapons in existence came into being. The Grim reaper’s scythe of death

Darkness. Everything was dark. Fluffy opened his/her eyes. “#####!” The light was blinding. (S)He couldn’t see a thing. (S)He quickly closed his/her eyes.

“I see you’re awake,” a voice said.

Fluffy opened his/her eyes carefully, giving them time to adjust to the light. A horrible looking man stood in front of her. He had a hunchback, his teeth were rotten, and he had bloody holes in his hands and feet. Then the smell reached him/her. “Jesus Christ,” (s)he said.

“Yeah, that’s me,” said the man.

Fluffy’s jaw dropped. This man, Jesus? No way! But maybe, just maybe . . .

“I understand why you are surprised. But I can prove it to you. Look around, Fluffy. This is Heaven.”

Fluffy looked around. Puffy white clouds. People with wings. “Ok,” (s)he said. “But I’m still not convinced.”

“Test my wisdom, then,” said the man claiming to be Jesus. And Fluffy did. (S)He asked him what her gender was, and was told that (s)he possessed none. (S)He asked what to put on a job application in the gender section, and was told to put “female.” She asked him what her weight had to do with recent events. She was told that it was nothing, just a coincidence. She was satisfied.

“Fluffy,” said Jesus, “I have some things to tell you. First of all, this is not really Heaven. This is a room in a cloud that I live in. The winged people are my servants, not angels. Second, you are here for a purpose. The same purpose you were born because of.”

“Purpose?” Fluffy asked, bewildered. “What purpose?”

“Three years ago, I felt a rift in the space time continuum. I realized then that something was wrong. I tried to convince my father of this, but he just slept through what I said. So, I created you, knowing that you would come to me in the time of need. I made sure that you were horribly disfigured, so that normal society would reject you. But now, you have come to me, and I can reveal the truth about you.”

Fluffy felt changes within herself. Immense changes, in both body and mind. She didn’t understand for a minute, but then she did. She was no longer Fluffy, but a woman named Mitsuki. She was seventeen years old. And she was Jesus’s daughter. Mitsuki stood naked in the cloud. Her shoulder-length black hair blew in the nonexistent wind. She spread out her fluffy white wings, then pulled them back in.

“My daughter, this is your true form! This is what you were meant to be. And now you must fulfill your purpose. Find Satan! Destroy him! That will bring everything back to the way it used to be. Go! Now! Before it is too late!”

Mitsuki had so many things to ask Jesus, her new father. But alas, she could not, because, for the second time in a day, she found herself plummeting toward the ground.

Give your body and soul to king of all evil himself? What was Lucifer thinking when he introduced that submission agreement? Ruciphera could not help but try and recall if her brother had done it when he was high on drugs or alchohol, and found that he did.

Noting the interesting fact down somewhere so she could tease the 'king of all evil' himself when she found him, Ruciphera proceeded towards where the new recruit was. The young man's looks was somewhat familiar, and she wanted to see hybrid for herself to determine who the father was, even though the angel of death was somewhere in that area, and she had to walk past the dreaded church.

//That is, if I agree to help you, witch.//

Oh, but child, Lucipher caused this. All of it. No spirit will assist you against me.

//I am not your child! And what do you mean --//

"Excuse me, miss. May I help you?"

//--his voice...//

Yes, priestess. It is unreal.

His appearance produced a similiar emotion. A tight fitting black t-shirt traced a lithe, yet muscular torso, while loose-fitting cargo pants skimmed from the waist down. Across the neck dangled a chain, holding a small onyx surfboard.

Radiant black hair shone vibrantly under the sun's glare, wrapping gracefully into a lengthy pony-tail. Two locks seemingly framed lightly tanned skin, only to be off-set by deep purple eyes. Seemingly camoflage against the black top, a pair of raven's wings wrapped inward, bringing them as close as possible to the body.

"Heh, see something you like?"

A light blush crept across Airi's face.

Pathetic. You sense his demonic aura, yet you still find yourself attracted to him. Well, child, you may have him once we meet Lucipher.

//You know as well as I that it can't happen. The spirits forbid it.//

Not if you are a demon as well.

//Demoness!//

Child, you know it sounds appealing. Now, allow me to speak for you.

//I am not your child!//

"Sorry to bother you..."

Fine, fine, but allow me to speak.

"Incubus." Airi's voice, soft, and subtle, still managed to reach the other's ears.

"A priestess.... possessed? Damnit!"

"Quiet, bastard child."

"Demoness, you won't be the first I have lulled."

"Darling, show more respect to your mother."

//Mother?!//

"Lilith?"

Yes, and I must say that this is pleasant timing.

"Incubus, my reign is after the setting sun. On whom's authority are you here? Ah... Ruciphera must have let everything loose. Always knew the stress is too much for her."

"Mother?!"

"Dear, would you be willing to do me a favor?"

"As always, I serve you, mother."

"Bastard! I should kill you for saying that, let alone allowing me to grace you with my presence!"

By this time, people were staring.

"I never..."

"I was thrown outside of time. If this girl did not feel something for you, I would take great pleasure in ripping you to shreds.

"Now, you are to take me to Ruciphera."

With that, they left.

The skies of earth...once serene and almost healing in quality with her peaceful light blue gaze down upon all who would look at her now scorned down upon the planet with a miserly deep blue-black scowl. Its once inviting, rolling greens now withered, salt and soil of the earth rended in two showing the deep scars where earthquakes had rocked the land creating deep caverns wrought with perilous beasts of the underworld...

All this was brought to his mind as he lay dormant, encased in red-white feathery wings as they formed a sort of embryo around him, and all this he considered as the shot up through the lava floes, passing each layer of the underworld on his return journey to the surface. Zero almost felt guilty for his grievous thefts, as if they had caused the terrorful chaos above which he would soon face. Despite his feelings though he knew he could not blame himself. Lucifer had brought this upon the planet and before he had arrived in Hell, even. Still he tried to convince himself that taking the Eye of Death from the inner chamber of Hell played some part in Lucifer's rage, even though he knew that Lucifer had fled his seat...None could find him, he was even in debt to this fact in a way for it had allowed him to retrieve the eye silently...

The ground shook as a new chasm split open right in the center of town, a short spurt of white hot lava spewing into the sky from it. And along with the floes the chasm spat a mess of charred black and white hair covered in a messy red cloak upon the earth. He turned onto his back, breathing the musky air of Earth...and as soot-filled and lacking in oxygen as it was, it was welcoming.

He stood slowly, taking out two smooth black and white balls and twirling them in his hand as he looked around seeing various humans running for their lives from beasts freely ransacking the streets. Bodies littered the grounds from various causes, contorted flesh sometimes burned into the ground so horribly it was unrecognizable. He winced...whenever he saw mutilation so horrible it only reminded him of his own horrific past, and thus he began to walk. There was a burning in his eyes, any man could tell that even though he looked human there was a fire deep within him that burned longer and stronegr than that of a homosapien. Not only that but his hand grew tired of twirling the two spheres and he let it fall to his side. The balls however continued to spin in place, hovering by his sside as he looked for someone who knew more of what had happened while he was gone.

He stopped a woman walking in the street rather calmly, thinking to himself that considering she wasnt running in panic, she might know what was going on.

"Excuse me miss, how long has this insanity been carrying on?" He thought she might answer, though her eyes went slightly wide when they saw his orbs rotating seemingly of their own will. He only hoped she wouldn't run away from him.

Fluffy- wait, no, Mistuki now- plummeted toward the city. What city, she didn’t know. All she knew was that it was a big city, and soon she would come into contact with the ground of that big city, and that would ultimately end up in her death.

But then. Mitsuki remembered that she had wings. She spread them out to catch the air and slow her drop, then began flapping them profusely. She stopped dropping, and then spread out her wings to glide. She skimmed the air looking for a good landing spot. How she knew what a good landing spot was, or even what landing was, she didn’t know, but what she knew no longer mattered to her. She was changed. She selected a nice grassy area surrounded by tall buildings and started her decent.

When she landed, Mitsuki looked at her surroundings. A small, grassy area, with flowers and a playground and some nice looking trees. It’s called a park, she thought. Past the park were silent streets filled with abandoned cars. As Fluffy, she knew that things were different. As a human now, she realized just how different things were. She also knew, somehow, that all of this was Satan’s fault.

Mitsuki felt wrong. Of course, there were many possible reasons for this, one of them being a sudden change of species, but for some reason, she felt like that was it. I need clothes, she thought. Wait. What are clothes? Why do I need them? The answers filled her head. She went to find some clothes.

She started heading north. Luckily, her sense of direction was still tuned like a cat’s. she walked on the desolate streets before her. She began seeing a few shops here and there, and then every single window advertised products, and every single building was a shop. She stopped at one with clothes advertised in the window. Victoria’s Secret. She attempted opening the door, but it was locked. She walked out to the advertisement window and kicked it as hard as she could. The glass shattered. Making sure not to step on any broken shards, she entered the shop.

* * *

Mitsuki admired her new look in the mirror. A small black tank top that allowed her wings to stay out, with an incredibly small, tight, mini-skirt. Black high heels. She had black eye shadow, lip gloss, and blush on. A black leather handbag. ((OOC: Oh yeah, B&D style.)) Inside that handbag was all of the money in the cash register, some lip gloss, blush, mascara, eye shadow, and sun glasses. She was missing panties and a bra, but that was one of the things she didn’t know.

Mitsuki still felt as if she was missing something. She sat down to think about it, and made a list in her head. ID, a cell phone, and a gun. She understood the gun, but not the ID or cell phone. She didn’t have anyone to call, and when would she ever need ID? She also felt thirsty and hungry, two feelings she recognized.

She set off to find a gun shop. Her black heels clicked against the sidewalk. It didn’t take her long to find a weapon shop. A few blocks away from where she borrowed her clothes, there was a shop with weapons in the window. She tried the door. This one was unlocked. Two Caucasian men smoking what was presumably tobacco, although that is questionable, were visible through the smoke.

“Hi there,” said one of the men in a heavy southern accent. “What can I do for you?”

“I need guns,” said Mitsuki. “And ammo. And a dagger.”

“Well, what kind of gun? We’ve got twelve gages, sniper rifles, guns with lasers-”

“I need something light weight that can fire off more than one round without reloading. It also needs to be able to do a lot of damage quickly. And as for the dagger, it needs to be the one that can pierce flesh the easiest.”

The man walked around a little, rummaging around, grabbing boxes of ammo and a gun, then got a knife and it’s sheath off of the wall. He then brought them all back to the counter.

‘Mitsuki knew for some reason that it was time to pay. Her stomach rumbled as she pulled out a thick wad of hundreds. “Will this be enough?”

Both men gaped at all of the money. “Damn, girl,” said the one that had remained silent. “For that, we can give you all of this and the rest of our shop with it. That’s definitely enough.”

“Alright. I don’t want your shop, but can I please have some food?

* * *

After eating with the men, loading her purse up with some bottled water, dried meats, the loaded gun and ammo, and tying the knife sheath to her upper leg, Mitsuki left the shop. The shopkeepers told her to stop by any time if she needed anything, and she said she would. While Mitsuki was back on the street, the men inside were arguing about whether she was an angel or a deformed bird-girl. Mitsuki set out to find Satan.

((OOC: Now that my character is actually a normal person, does anyone want to help me go after Satan? I’m kinda bored Rping alone.))

{OOC: I hear that Andrico...and yes that sounds perfect. My character is seeking Him out for what has happened anyway...}

The woman only stared at his red eyes, horror filling her face as she stared at his rotating orbs and then back at his face, and after nearly stumbling over a fire hydrant the woman shrieked and tore down the street. Zero scratched his head...he didn't look all that scary did he? As he wondered what had spooked the young woman, he felt a chill down his spine, though there was what felt like hot musky air puffing against him. He turned slowly, lifting an eye up warily to peer but a foot away at a looming demon over him, covered in fiery burning tattoos. The menacing looking fiends jowls hung revealing a hideous set of razor fangs.

"Here...kitty kitty..." Zero whispered, doing his best not to agitate it. He had drawn his orbs behind him holding them together as he turned to face the disgusting wafts of demon breath. He pointed his gaze directly into the slivered pupils of the beast, the flames within them matching his own as he began to speak in the demon's own tongue.

"You have obviously sought me out for a better reason than to kill me...And I am unsure what your master has intended with sending you here so please...If you have no message to relay, I would advise returning to the stench you came from."

The beast only snarled, though he knew it understood...why was it not responding? Without warning it drew its claw above his head, bringing it down across his chest and knocking him into a nearby building. The blindsided attack thudded the air out of his chest, though his claws failed to pierce Zero's armor. He rocked into the building getting stuck within the shattered concrete wall, his eyes squeezing shut from the shockwave of pain that rocked his body. As he opened them he saw the red leather skinned fiend charging ever closer...

"Crapcrapcrap" He thought, as he tore his arms from their binds smashing the two orbs against each other. The beast had just about reached him when a surge of red and white light tremored from the merging orbs, knocking the demon back though it shielded the blast with its arms. Zero's cloak burned away, revealing his armored vest underneath and as the embers spiraled upward they formed his two-tone wings, lifting his feet from the floor. Lightning illuminated the ground, striking twice next to him as chains shot from his spine retrieving his blades from the ground.

So it truly was you who hath forsaken the throne of the Prince of Lies... The beast finally spoke as it stood.

Then I have no choice but to destroy you for its honor, in the name of Master...

Zero could tell from the demon's tongue that he was only from the 3rd or 4th level...and from the tone of his voice that he knew he would live no longer. He sighed to himself, and almost felt bad for the beast, so deluded to follow a deceptive leader to the end. It was of no consequence. His fate had been sealed long ago yet.

"Then I must ask, what is your name, fiend?" He yelled proudly and respectfully now.

I am called Jhorkaan, third son of Guorsai - the honored great grandon of the mighty Raukin. Zero's eyes went wide.

Raukin.

The name echoed in his head, a name that sounded as if somehow some great while ago he had been called that...though he knew the thought was ridiculous. The battle was giving him an eerie feeling...something about the whole situation itched oddly at the back of his brain. It vaguely distracted him but he nevertheless remained focused. As if it was needed.

"Then prepare yourself, Jhorkaan." Without saying more he beat his wings fiercely lunging at the demon. It swung towards him but the swipe was too slow for his movement, and once the leathery arm was drawn over from the attack Zero's chain recoiled and brought his blade Utopia up between the monsters ribs. It reached to tear the blade out, but not before Calamity was flung around behind him, boomeranging around to cleanly remove the demons head as it slunk to the ground in a messy heap, Zero lowered to the ground, sighing as he withdrew Utopia and Calamity back into the single yin-yang orb.

"I must find someone who knows how to find Lucifer...This world has been robbed of its peace. It must be fixed..." These thoughts and more raced through his head as he wandered hovering above the ground through the town beating his red tipped wings. He spotted a rather modernly dressed woman intently walking quickly down a sidestreet, but as soon as he saw her he could feel she was no human...He decended in front of her, staying his wings as he eventually dropped to the ground padding softly.

"Well I must say, normal women do not usually parade around the streets in skimpy outfits at night unless they know how to defend themselves. And considering recent events I would hope you would be careful not to endanger yourself..."

"Well this should be fun. I bet I can get immense power from the angel of death."

Vincent taunted Fin as he approached. A battle was about to commence.

"EXTEND!" Vincent yelled, and his blade extended to be 10 feet long ((OOC: limit of 15 feet)). Vincent did a horizontal sweep to try and cut Fin, but Fin jumped in time to dodge. it

"Very good. This should be a fun fight."

Fin drew his famous scythe from what seemed to be from thin air and almost instantly, he was right next to Vincent.

"Poor misguided demon, I will send you back to the depths of hell." Fin said

"Not even death will stop me." Vincent said.

Fighting continued between them, Vincent retracted his blade so it was about 5 feet long for close range. It seemed that every strike was blocked by the other person as both of their weapons are nearly invisible from the speed that they were moving. It then started to rain.

"Demon, no matter how powerful you are, god is on my side, you can't win." Fin said.

The battle raged on as neither one of them could make contact with anything but the others weapn. Except for small cuts, there were no injuries so far. The rain became harder, and there started to be lightning.

"When I kill you, I will absorb your soul, and I will become the new angel of death." Vincent said.

As Vincent struck Fin's scythe, Fin pushed and knocked the muramasa back and hit Vincent with the other end of the scythe, knocking Vincent into the air and off balance. Fin then performed a verticle slash downwards, cutting a deep wound in Vincent and sending him flying back.

"Gah. Looks like I will need more than this human form." Vincent said as he started to cough up blood.

Vincent now had a dark aura around him, and he seemed to release his demon form. His normally green eyes turned red, his canine teeth grew to longer than their normal size, and He let his single raven wing appear on his right side of his back.

"Now this fight should get interesting." Vincent said.

((OOC: sorry for the whole "one winged angel" thing going, but I thought it was appropriate due to him being only a half demon.))

Mistik
In his usual lifeless grey voice, the reaper spoke:

“I previously held the notion that you were just an exceptionally skilled human, now I have come to the realization that you are but a pitiful half breed”

No reply came from Vincent. He was now fully transformed with blade in hand. Vincent took a few steps toward Fin, who was still covered from head to toe in his black garb. Taking the offence again, the half demon extended his blade fifteen feet, aiming at the Reaper’s heart. Fin casually shifted slightly to the right, turning to his side narrowly, but confidently dodging the blade. Fin was shocked to find that the demon’s hand was no longer holding the blade. In a reaction time that only can be explain by a miracle, Fin started to back flip over the horizontal knee sweep aimed at Fin’s ribs. With expert control over his muscles Vincent, who had appeared behind fin swayed his kick to a more upward direction, however, it only matched the velocity of Fin’s flip, allowing the angel to evade a painful kick to the spine.

Death now stood facing Vincent’s back. He took the favorable opportunity to use his scythe to slice the half demon in half at the waist. That was his intent, but before he could follow through; a huge silver discus, approximately 30 feet in diameter came dangerously close to taking off Fin’s head. What had happen was, while Fin attempted to slice Vincent in half, Vincent caught his own extended blade near its edge and with a snapping whirl of his right hand, he slung the blade over his left shoulder, aimed at his opponent, but Death, being no amateur used the hilt of his scythe to rebound the sword far into the sky. Death took a little too much time, occupied by the soaring blade, which have he had been a human would have been too far for him to see. Vincent did not do this particularly quick, but death was still occupied, seemingly by the star image the flying sword made as it traveled skyward; he uppercuted Death with his right fist, using all the strength his half demon body could muster. The attack sent both parties skyward a good distance, but in the process Vincent opened up the wound on his torso that his half demon blood was working so hard to heal.

Because of his wound Vincent was slow to react after the punch, but even more abate was Death’s reaction. Vincent attacked again with a haymaker. Death parried it using his scythe hilt to intercept the oncoming fist. The vibration sent blood splattering on the floor from Vincent’s belly. Vincent tried once more with a straight punch to the solar plexus. This attack was quicker and Vincent leaned his body into it, but Death again succeeded in avoiding his attack, by scooting back just a few inches. Vincent let out a faint smile, because this attack hit Fin’s robe. With each attack Death’s reaction was getting slower and slower.

When he had rebounded the blade into the sky, Fin saw the first light. It was in the distance and was the beacon to where one of the souls resided that Fin was supposed to recover. Ever since then, many more popped up speeded through out that city. The neglected responsibility tugged at his spirit. It kept Fin from participating fully in the battle in front of him. His sense of duty brought Fin to do what he was about to do next. Fin stopped a good deal away from Vincent. They both stopped and just looked at each other for a moment, and then Fin raised his left hand. The half demon felt a sharp pain on his right shoulder. He touched it to see what had happen, but his hand came upon the face of a human. Vincent punched the face off of his shoulder. The man, not letting go, bit a piece of Vincent skin off with him as he flew backwards. In front, behind and on both sides of him Vincent was surrounded by the people who he had recently killed through out his romp on the city. The half demon looked up at fin, but the Reaper had already vacated. – (To finish the job he was assigned) - Finally the blade came back down; Vincent caught it as it made is decent. He then used it to slash the bodies around him. The bodies fell over in lumps, but just as he was about to withdraw his sword, one of the bodies came back together at the wound, then one after another all the people reformed where Vincent had cut them. Each one slowly progressing toward him once more; driven by one desire, vengeance!

Invisible and hopefully undetectable by more than one standard, Ruciphera watched as Vincent fought the ever recovering enemies that the death angel had summoned. Seeing the hybrid up close had reconfirmed the identity of his father for her, and she was deeply amused. She just knew that the family reunion was going to be fairly traumatic for the young new demon.

Then suddenly, the hair on the back of her neck prickled and she turned around to find a dark-haired incubus that she just knew would be great in bed, and the unfamiliar priestess carrying the all too familiar aura. The sex demon seemed somewhat lost as he could not see through the layers of magic that she had wrapped herself in, but 'her', 'she' had no problems at all.

Ruciphera knew it as well as 'her', so she released the invisibility spells and summoned a smile. "And there I was thinking where you have gone, Lilith."

[OOC: Tag, rean!]

//Lilith, why rely on your son if you don't trust him?//

Dear, there are many things in life you don't understand. When I make you my spawn, there are two individuals you will constantly be able to feel for: myself, and whomever rules Hell.

//I will NEVER become your spawn, demon!//

Come on. I thought you people believed that everything comes from the spirits.

//Lilith, you will be sealed--even if it costs my life.//

Girl, when you die, your spirit will leave your body, leaving it vacant for whomever wishes to take it.

"Having a little trouble, love?"

"Incubus, I need your aid."

"Look, love. I couldn't do anything even if I wanted to. She's created more demons than most, and it won't be long before her spawn are back at her beckon' call.

"Love, I'm afraid to say there are some things I can't help you understand."

It felt odd. Even a demon turns around to address one face to face, yet this being. His tone felt indifferent, yet withdrawn. He was afraid.

//There is a way to seal you, demon! I know there is. His last words assure it!//

She's near. Allow me to speak.

This place. Despite the thicket of demonic aura clouding the city, this building felt sacred. Even without understanding why, the priestess could at least credit herself with noting that the demon within her felt weaker, if only a little. Hazel eyes took in as much of the area as possible: the buildings, the pathways, the monstrous horses which devoured people. She had seen it with her own eyes and felt sick at her stomach.

The cross.

Airi recognized it immediately. Such a large number of converts converted at the teachings of men carrying these. Some carried rosaries with a smaller version of this one dangling at the end. Maybe, despite its falsehood, despite its teachings, this place is still sacred because people believe it so.

//Forsaking the spirits...//

Pestulant whelp.

It was true.

"I... I don't understand..." The incubus came to an immediate hault; his voice soft, yet completely alluring.

"Don't understand what?"

"She should be right here."

"She is right here."

Obviously Ruciphera had released whatever veil she was using, for the incubus relaxed suddenly. Her lips curling into a smile; she stated, "And there I was thinking where you have gone, Lilith."

"Ruciphera?"

"Priestess, I'm almost impressed."

"There is nothing to be impressed about, Ruciphera. I am only going to ask nicely once. You know how much of a bitch I can be. Now, where is he?"

"Ruciphera, I need your help. Both to find Lucipher and to rid myself of this monstrosity. Please."

Bitch, what makes you think she'll help you?

//Just a hunch.//

"Woah... I didn't know that my brother was so popular." Ruciphera switched her appearance at the moment to one that was vaguely similar to that of Catherina Zeta-Jones, and her voice changed to match. It came out as sensual and mocking as she brushed at her hair and murmured. "But I could hardly forget the time you slept with him, Lilith. He always did like you."

The words came out of Airi's mouth, even though the inflection and tone is purely that which belonged to Lilith, "My pleasure."

"Of course, the mother of the incubi and succubi." A wide smile touched her lips as Ruciphera continued in a more serious tone. "That's why you're looking for him, isn't it? Or you wouldn't have tried to find me, considering how we... parted."

"Ruciphera, where is Lucifer?"

"Impatient, aren't you? Who's feeling it more, Lilith or priestess?" Ruciphera taunted again, directing her words towards both of the souls within the same body. "And what if I don't know where my brother is as well? Will you suffer my presence and find him with me? And you, priestess. What are you willing to give me for the deal you propose?"
reanimation
"What am I willing to give you, Lady Ruciphera?" Subtly, the priestess took great means to ensure a stern yet gracious tone, the voice of one who is trying to level an uneven playing field. Participating in such a sacred occupation meant a number of things: one of which being socializing with people daily. On such outings, if one has a tendency to pay close attention to the surroundings and workings of the world, negotiations are constantly being forged between parties.

"First, please allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Airi Oni."

Bitch, unleash me! You have no idea of how she works.

//Demon, hold your tongue. I may not be able to completely rid myself of you, but I can still seal you within my body for the time being.//

"You speak of your parting with this demon well. Do you wish to rid yourself of her?"

"In my trade, priestess, even information comes at a price."

"And if the price is the soul of this monstrosity?"

"I'm listening."

"First, an exorcism is simple enough. The problem is after... This city, I sense no spirituality in it besides the building we are near now. I've heard Lilith speak of her wishes with your brother. I've felt her desire to tear your brother to peices. I believe you realize what this offers which ever way you choose to look at it.

"Second, I will offer all of my services in aiding you to find your brother, but I wish to be able to return home when he is found... this... this Lucipher."

Hasn't anyone ever taught you to never make a deal with a demon?

//To get here, I've had to make a deal with you. May the spirits be kind to me in this.//

Yes, you have made a deal with me to get this far. With every second to pass away, I feast on your spiritual energy. In time, your corpse WILL become my vessel. You should have listened to my son.

The incubus remained silent.

Ruciphera turned cat-like green eyes on the priestess, "So you'll give me her soul to do whatever I want with it after you help me find my dear brother and I send you back to where you came from?"

Airi nodded, and seemed perfectly serious about it.

"Alright then, it's a deal. My useless servants have not been able to find Lucifer, and it won't hurt if I have your help. Just one thing though, to be able to send you back to wherever you came from, we will have to be in the Underworld, where my power is at its fullest. Think you can do that, priestess?"
Andrico
The creature decended in front of her."Well I must say, normal women do not usually parade around the streets in skimpy outfits at night unless they know how to defend themselves. And considering recent events I would hope you would be careful not to endanger yourself..."

Mitsuki analyzed the thing in front of her. He was not human. Anyone could see that as plain as day. She sensed something within him... Kindness, perhaps? No, that wasn’t the exact word for it... She couldn’t quite put her finger on it. The one thing that she could tell was that he was pure of heart. She decided that now was not the time to act reclessly, so she wouldn’t attack him without warrant. She did, however, rest her hand upon the gun in her purse.

“I can protect myself just fine,” she said, not purposly tactless, but in light of recent events, she found it a good idea to be weary of strangers. “And why do you ask me this...?”
