The Keeper

I don't know why I wanted to do this... I just did. So this is what I got biggrin.gif

I hope you like it biggrin.gif

Dude you have like an, artistic diarrhea and it just keeps on coming out with art(but in a good way). This particular piece has a sort of comic book feel to it imo. Tis a great simble of patriotism and the backround is really well done.

lol! thanks!

I wanted the comic feel to the tank, and that worked out nicely. It's a method I've been refining for quite awhile now lol, and I think I almost got it down with vehicles. making people look like comics is another thing. But, thanks for the feedback biggrin.gif
Final Fantasist
Nice choice of colors, do they have any meaning or they were just random? I get the feeling of dawn or dusk, the brave giving us a new day of freedom or dusk, the brave ending a day of suffering and whatnot, yeah that's the feal I have of that piece xD

Quite good if you as me.

(oh yeah, welcome back btw =p)

Thanks! and the major reason for the choice of colors was for the dusk, but there was a slight idea for the dusk in the back of my mind that kept playing while I made it which kinda said the dusk was meaning the end of a the day, and in other words, the end of the war. So yea...

but, once again, thanks for the feedback smile.gif

I actually got commissioned to do this by a friends cousin. He's in the military and had seen my other one. Since he's home for a little while, he wanted something to take with him when he's back on duty or whatever. He sat here over my shoulder and pretty much guided me to what he wanted. I like how it came out, and the white border ties it all together and makes it look good. I hope you all like it, cause he did, and gave me $50 when I only asked for 20 lol.

Well how generous of the little fella biggrin.gif . I definitley like this one more, just because the colors are more subtle with a greater sense of partiotism. Nice work.

yea, I like it more myself. Thanks for the feedback biggrin.gif
Raincoat
Wow, I wish people would pay me for my art lol.

Anyways, I like it! The colors all work together very well, and it does have a sense of more patriotism than you other, as said.

Merged your topics together, since your pieces are technically based on the same thing. Now people can compare them without having to split windows. xP

Anyways, your work is groovy. I prefer the first piece over the second just because I think the colours fit better with it, the purples and yellows creates that nice atmosphere as opposed to the blue and whites in the second which doesn't do as much justice.

ok! cool biggrin.gif

and yea, it seems to vary between person to person which one they like. So far, I've only had one person show any dislike for it. He says it looks like I just took a picture and put a filter on it, but everyone can see I didn't do that. I guess he was talking about the cutout filter, but it dosn't produce that effect, so... whatever. Thanks for the feedback everyone! biggrin.gif
