Natsuki's piece is quite enigmatic which is why I love it the most. It sorta projects itself from the other pieces making it stand out. So I'll go with Natsuki's piece .

There are 2 entries that stand out for me; Reaver's and Vinsfeld's (I guess just because I like nice water pics like that =p ). Seeing as I have no knowledge of graphic creations I don't know what might have been done with those pictures (or in other words, how much work was put into them).

So instead I'll just say which one I think looks best... and that would be Reaver's (as I'm not too fond of those arrows in Specter's pic, eheh =x ).

It's probably my Photobucket acting up again. =/

Two stood out to me as the one that works best with interpretation; Reaver and Tony's. Though I wish the blending of the two pictures were smoother in Tony's, I like the little details put into it and the thought it took to create it. Very insightful and "deep", which is something that most people tend to overlook. (Though, meaningless eye-candy works too, hahaha.)

Main two that caught most of my attention was Apple's and Vinsfeld's.

Apple's, being that I like the abstract feel to the piece and the fact that it has an idea of a photo, the way the border is used. I think the composition is well thought out.

Vinsfeld's, I just like the whole atmosphere it creates... the blue and dreary "weird" look is great. I really the use of the arrows pointing downwards and the paper birds. The only thing that bother's me, would be the brown "dust" blend going through the middle. I think it would've been better if you blended the clouds together rather than have that strike through.

Good entries to everyone that entered.

I think they all look really great, and obviously took some time. Yet, there is one that stands out to me, so I go with Vinsfeld's. It caught my eye, and has a lot to look at. Great job everybody.

The only one that could capture an element of nature imo, not too simple, not too confusive.

I like Apple's because hers used some very good stocks, I like the idea she had with it, and I think she executed it very well. Plus, it seemed the most original out of them all because she avoided using brushes and things, yet, still made a very nice composition with her images.

So, I vote Apple.

For the record, everything in my image was made by scratch and photoshop default effects. The backgrounds I had made myself, the arrows done with the shape tool, newspaper scanned myself, birds used from google. Thats it. XD

But in defense, we had no text describing the pieces themselves. I suppose the best way to respond is to check the DA's...xD

Anyways, as for my vote, I think Reavers catches the theme well. Alazuli's reeked off lazy, and while Natsuki's and Apple's were good pieces, I don't think they pulled it off quite as well as Reavers. My own piece...well lets just say it shouldn't look the way it does. ^^; Though, in the end, my vote goes to Reaver.

I also feel Soul Reaver's and Vinsfeld's piece do capture the theme the best compared to other pieces. Apple's piece also capture the theme quite well. Though, I'm going to go with Vinsfeld's piece in the end. Of course, it's not as dazzling as Natsuki's or Apple's piece, but you could tell quite a lot of work was put into and it was quite a creative piece.
