Which is the best (in order)?

WA
WA2
WA3
WA: AF
WA4

I love number two and 1 the best cant decide which is better...but the ending for WA2 was probably the best...Fighting the final form of the Kaiser Belt and then fighting the beast within you......ohhhh...priceless

I enjoyed 2 the most because of the villain, mainly. tongue.gif
Though the storyline was cool, the theme was cool, and the dungeons/dungeon music was awesome. It was just a really fun game, despite translation errors (that I really didn't see as translation errors back when I played it years ago. I don't remember much admittedly. :/)

Wild Arms 1, I enjoy second. For a few reasons, the main being I barely remember anything about the game. It had a pretty cool storyline (for its time, but its probably rather generic now.) The music and theme that went with it gave it bonus points (not like I understood such things as theme back then, but I appreciated it xD)

I didn't play any of the other ones yet, or well, didn't beat. Wild Arms 3 has trouble holding my interest, and 4 seems really generic but fun.

If there is one thing that is true....Wild Arms 3 could possibly be the worst Wild Arms...and maybe in the Top 20 worst RPGs of all time...sad but true...I appreciate the battle avoiding system but they should have based it on your level...not what you find...fighting such weak enemies when you are powerful is tiresome and boring. Next the battle system - same, more of the same, and some movement....absolutely no innovation went into it as it passed onto the PS2 so much more could have been done. Third...the storyline, Ok Ok so it had some good points, but who in this forum cannot say that they couldnt guess what happens next? Oh they took control of the Yggdrasil system...can you stop them from resurrecting Ziegfried?...Nope....but go ahead and fight them anyways...it moves the story along. Finally, I HATED THE FINAL BOSS...its a fricking KID! Not to mention it can take control of computer systems...but wait...only like...7 people in the world of Filgaia that even know what a computer is...including your team with those 7...so why not just look for the computers and destroy...omg....she is now powerless....but noooo...we decide to take the hard route and go inside the computer systems and kick her tiny butt....which took way too long...how many forms can a little girl have? So that is the end of me dissing Wild Arms 3 but I will always love Wild arms through and through....

WA2, WA, WA:ACF, WA3... WA4.

WA2 was the first Wild ARMs i played, and loved the characters (except Tim) and the gameplay was great.
the Original WA is a true classic- great characters, awesome story.
Alter Code F is third because of how it was changed-limited Fast-Draws amd Ammo-rounds, only Cecilia can summon, one FP skill per character... the extended story arcs and playing as Jane, Emma and Zed are cool- but no Fury Shot + Twin Orbs is a rel downer.
WA3 is a good game, though the story is a bit sappy and the Prophets aren't as good as the Quarter Knights or Cocytus. and the final boss is one of the most annoying i've ever fought.

WA4 was just a complete disappointment. the heroes were interesting, but the villains absolutely sucked- they were nothing more than cannon fodder.

Wild Arms 2 was my first game of the series. It's still one of the most enjoyable games of the series I played. Everything about the game was done right, except that final boss. Vinsfeld was one of the best villian I ever encounter in a video game. Too bad he wasn't the main villian. dry.gif

Wild Arms Alter Code: F was fun and vastly enjoyable. I played the original, but never could get into due to the chibi design to the characters in the original. Only problem I had with Alter Code: F was it seem much easier than the original. Also, they gave you new optional characters, but meh, they were extra characters that weren't include in the story any longer once you obtain them.

Wild Arms 3 was also very enjoyable. Clive and Jet totally ruled. While I was wondering why Gallows looked so stupid and had a shotgun that missed the majority of the time and he sucked all around. Villians in this game don't match up to the previous villians of the previous games, but it was still enjoyable.

Wild Arms 1 don't dislike it. I just never was a fan of the chibi designed used in the game. Storyline still my second favorite of the series along with the characters. I also dislike the fact the game froze on me. It's only fourth, because of Alter Code: F. Overall, this game was better than 3 for me.

WA3 is my favorite because of the atmosphere, story and characters. I felt it has the most 'wild west' aspects. The battle system was one of the best I've experienced, and I've played quite a few RPGs. The translation was excellent, which is a miracle considering WA and WA:ACF had it pretty bad. It really helped bring out the characters' personality. As for graphics & music, the cell-shaded style looked very nice as well as unique and I loved most of the music. Lastly, Jet is one my favorite video game characters and he's cute.

ACF is a close second, but the translation and the mute main character knocked it down a little. I'm really crazy about character development and plot. Although, I liked Rudy anyway, but I wish he did talk...

WA4 was just crap IMO. It has the most pathetic cut-scenes I've ever seen. Cheesy dialogue, glitches, annoying voice actors, dull music and the children vs. mean evil adults concept were it's failures.
