Has anyone seen this movie? Rented it last night, and it was one of the best romantic comedies I've seen in a long time. The comedy parts were funny, and the story was enjoyable. And that fat guy was hillarious. I especially liked his dance. "It cannot be stopped!"

Definitely a film I'd recomend watching if you haven't seen it yet.

Hasn't this been out for a whole year? I remember seeing this on the cinea, Will Smith is great, I love those types of comedy that he's part in, quite enjoyable.

I love Will Smith in almost every movie I've seen him in, and was given mixed reviews so I wanted to see it for myself. My parents booked it on Box Office for me and I watched it, and was disappointed. The humour was just too predictable imo. I could see things happening before they did, and even though sometimes thats good in a movie, in this one it was just too obvious. The basic story was okay, and I thought Will Smith did play a pretty good role but this film just didn't do it for me. Plus I really didn't like the leading lady he fell for, she just got on my nerves a little.

The film was okay, I have seen it twice, but I wouldn't say it was hilarious imo. Nor would I reccomend it =(.

WHY would you go rent a romantic comedy? Did you even have a girl with you man?

As for Hitch itself, not my kinda thing. I don't generally dig mainstream romantic comedies, and honestly I haven't really enjoyed Smith too much since MiB came out years and years ago. I might be arsed to check this one out if there was a girl involved, and even that's a slim chance.

I suppose one perk is that it has Eva Mendez in it, she's not too bad looking whatsoever... And Kevin James is a huge UFC fan, so I gotta give him props as well.

I wouldn't class it as one of the best, but it was an enjoyable watch. I watched this on an aeroplane journey on holiday last summer, there were actually quite alot of good movies on at the time as well.

Can't say Will smith really hit the spot in this movie though, the main comedy was from the chubby guy (forgot his name >.<), how he just ignored "Hitch"'s advice and did his own thing. Hitch as a character was a pretty decent character to stand in this romance comedy, alot of the main male character's seem to annoy me in romance comedie's. xP

Yeah i really liked this movie. Good story and kept me interested in i wasn't falling asleep through the middle. Will Smith is a great actor, i love him in every movie he is in. He has that whole funny/sarcastic thing going on for him. He is hilarious. I also like him in MIB 2 and Badboyz 1 and 2. I don't know about his music though....well he never cusses. I really don't like that.

I wasn't very impressed by it at all. Didn't have too much going for it and I was bored multiple times throughout the movie. I don't know, maybe its just not my kind of picture. So yeah, I wouldn't reccomend it either.

Regardless of how long this movie has been around I agree 100% that this is a good recommendation for a film.

It was a perfect comedy. I enjoyed it a lot, and the take-back scenes were great.
