Alright, I dunno how many of you watch HBO shows, but if you do and you haven't watched Six Feet Under, I highly recommend you do. If you're in to morbid, dark humor kind of stuff then you will absolutely love this show. I started watching this show last year when me and my mom were checking out different HBO shows. We got the first episode and were immediately addicted. The writing is excellent--thanks to Alan Ball (yes, the writer of American Beauty). The acting is amazing. I recently finished the series after waiting until the end of March to get the final season on DVD. This is an absolutely amazing and highly addictive show. You get attached to all of the characters, go what they go through and feel what they feel. This show definately makes you think about life and death.

I assure you, you will fall in love with this show...just be sure to keep a box of tissues around because it is very sad at some points.

Lol, pretty much all of my friends love this show. They always want me to check it out, but I don't just to spite them XD. Maybe I will check it out, I've read some excellent reviews about this show. I jus hope it's not one of those soap opera-esque, over-the-top dramatic shows.

it's definately not soap opera-esque or over-the-top dramatic. There's a lot of drug abuse, sex, death, cursing and all that fun stuff. It's not overly acted at all. You'll be able to relate to some of the characters and some of the situations they get in to. It's a great show, you should definately check it out sometime.
