Ok I jus wanna know if you guys put up with this stuff. Like do you jus ignore them? Or do find it alluring and join in? Now I don't have a freakin' $250 graphics card or anything, but I still play games like Gunbound for fun and there' so much profanity in it. If it's not too explicit I'd join in too, like for reasons of sarcastically ripping on people.

So how do you guys put up with it?

I just smile, at the thought that those people have either the mentality or age under 12 years.

I ignore it, or laugh about it. It's all you can really do, other than not playing anymore.

There are many occasions online ( Namely on XBL ) where I deal with obscene amounts of swearing. To be honest it's part of my daily vocabulary, and while I'm not telling you that I'm eating out your moms hot ##### ####, it does manage to slip into some of my dialogue.

There's a point where it's accepted, but so many people tend to take it too far sometimes.

Now lets go get some #####' mountain dew.

I'll understand if somebody is having a bad day, but I find it irritating when some random idiot starts swearing at another person or myself during Gunbound, and I usually don't stay long after that. Especially if it was uncalled for or entirely without reasons. That totally ruins the fun and I hate that.

I'm with cel on this one. If people just start to flame/bash eachother in an online game, I just ignore them. I remember one game that I was against two guys, it was a tactical RPG, they lost, and afte the fight they started flaming me and bashing, asking for a rematch. The just followed me asking again and again, for 10 minutes, they I accepted and won yet again, they finally loged out.

God, some people can be so stupid and childish. Normally, I just ignore them though, don't have the time or patience to deal with guys like that.

I find it funny, and I just argue back for a moment, cause when they get mad at me, I'm more than likely doing good, so I don't care.

Well, nothing annoys me more than people who spam obscene swear words toward other players in online games and especially when people mic spam but still I try and ignore them or just leave the server if they get way to out of hand.
