Fear the new trailer! (Edit: It's been removed now... I wonder why? =p ) They replaced every single character's voice with cheesy B-movie voice acting for some reason (very odd since they already had this trailer up before with the high quality voice acting, rather stupid move to put one up with filling actors if you ask me). But I'm quite sure there's no need to worry about those voices, they already had the real voice actors in the battle footage trailers so they should be there to stay (still... why Namco? April Fools has long passed, you know).

Yes, money/shops are back (I already knew this.) That was one of the things that really bothered me about Episode II because I usually rely heavily on items, and this made the game hard for me because I couldnt heal anyone. But this is a good site (except for the lack of an english "A Missing Year".)

Oh, the site is still heavily under construction (forgot to mention that, eheh). As you can see near the top of the screen, it says the "enhanced site" is coming soon. I've read on the Namco forums that they're being quite ambitious with the full site, so still lots more will be added. An English Missing Year is not out of the question either (good thing too, 'cause I can't be bothered figuring out Chapter 6 for the moment =p ).

The fansite kit doesn't seem to be complete either, it contains only a limited amount of character art (surprisingly less of the main characters, yet some minor ones are already included *shrug*). But last time I checked the full site is scheduled to be put up in a few weeks, so that's still a while.

I have to play XS2 without money and shops? What a load of crap.

I'm still working on the first game, only about fifteen hours into it and not too far by any means... But I'm enjoying the game so far, enough to play the second one and purchase the third. Plus the idea of another hot female andriod character sounds like good news to me.

Lol, yup. XSII is well known for its lack of shops, though it's not as hard as it sounds. They balanced it quite well (but that doesn't mean we have to like it =P ).

Oh, and it seems they've removed the trailer with the horrid filler voice acting now. Seeing as just about everywhere people were already complaining about how bad it was, I'm not at all surprised. I'm kinda glad I heard it before it was removed, those filler voices were quite poor... but also hilarious. xD

I remember I made a topic on GFAQs after I saw that trailer:

Lol, Hispanic Allen! xD But it's true, he did sound like that. And Shion's scream at the end of the trailer was just... scary. But as I mentioned previously, they removed the trailer (it says "Trailer coming soon" now, yesterday it just wouldn't play anymore). And it seems this is what happened (quoted from elsewhere):

"Some light has been shed on the trailer on the site: Apparently, it was a test trailer done by second string VAs for timing purposes, and was never meant to see the light of day, but someone accidentally threw it up with the preview site. The real trailer, the E3 one, will go up with the full site."

I figured it was something like that. Well, they certainly started the site up in an original way. =p

Darn I missed the funny trailer... Meh, It's probably on YouTube somewhere...

I wish there was more to the site than what there is though... I guess it's still a work-in-progress. A translation of what happened in the two years between Episode II and III would be nice as well

It's an ok site. Hopefully they'll get more stuff up. I was able to draw more from the Japanese one, going back and forth translating it. Fun.

There seems to be a lot of stuff available now (hey, I know the music that plays on the startup page, I've already listened to the OST xP ). I'll check the site out properly tomorrow, too tired now (bedtime for me =p ).

A lot of the site is still not done. Slide your mouse over most things in the gear section, and it says coming soon.

Well, I didn't check any of it yesterday. I went to bed right after making my post. But I've taken a look at it now; the game content seems to be completely covered, only some extras and fan submission options are still being worked on.

But all in all, I think the site looks really nice so far. Like how in the story section KOS-MOS blinks once in a while. That wallpaper they have up of Shion and KOS-MOS is very nice as well (I'm sticking with my chaos one, though =p ).

Some of those extras look interesting, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future updates.

The Xenodata section sounds interesting. Maybe it'll be an online version of the Keywords database?

Anyway it has some nice stuff, and I like the Wallpaper of Shion and Kos-mos. I needed a new one anyway.

That wallpaper is..perfect. Just the kind of close up I needed. The site contains stuff I've already seen elsewhere. The artwork looks like crap but that's all .
