Shadows of essence
(Had this one in my head since last year. Before I left.)

Clipping from the New Mexico Gazette

Aug 10, 1885
Sigil, New Mexico
Population 164

The peaceful farming community of Sigil is positioned on one of the lesser know trails to California and is seldom visited. It is a small town, without much to call attention to it. The town’s one and only claim to fame was the siege by the Clemens gang seven years ago.

The Clemens gang, lead by Greg Clemens, fled authorities after committing a series of daring bank and train robberies in Arizona. Finding themselves near the small town, the gang decided to hold up in the town while waiting for the heat to die down. For six days, the gang held the town in a ruthless grip of terror, taking what they wanted and killing any resistance. However, the siege ended when the residents lead by the town’s preacher, Timothy Redmond, rose up as one and challenged the gang in a bloody shootout. The incident resulted in the deaths of the entire Clemens gang and twenty of the town’s residents.

It seems again, that the town is gripped by the terror of the Clemens gang. Apparently not all members of the Clemens gang were killed and the survivors have been recruiting local thugs to replenish the gang’s ranks. For the last two days the gang has been riding into town under the cover of dark and attacking the town. The attacks seemed to be aimed at killing residents and causing general destruction. The gang’s new intention seems to be revenge for their humiliation seven years ago.

Some town residents claim it is not a new gang, but the ghosts of the original Clemens gang whose night rides are terrorizing the town. But these claims are being dismissed as the delusions of people under mental stress.

The governor has requested that law enforcement from nearby towns send help to relieve the embattled town. There has also been a call from the governor to mobilize the 5th Calvary division, currently on patrol in Arizona, to help deal with the bandits. However, the Governor believes local law enforcement will handle the situation before the army arrives.

Reality

Sigil is a small town at the base of a mountain in northern New Mexico. The town itself is small, consisting of only a single main street. There are general stores, a blacksmith, a small building belonging to the town doctor, and a hotel/saloon which caters to the few travelers that pass through the town heading west. Also on the main street are the Shieriff’s office and the small white chapel where Timothy Redmond still preaches. Most of the town’s residents live in the areas surrounding the town and decent sized farms and ranches.

The residents of Sigil are not crazy, the dead corpses of the Clemens gang are indeed haunting the town. Each night twenty-three festering corpses ride into town on horses of pure darkness with flaming manes. Each man carries ghostly versions of the weapons they carried in life, which never seem to run out of ammunition. These gaunt corpses, ride through the town each night, killing anyone they catch out in the open, dragging the bodies away with them when they ride off into the darkness. The town’s people, realizing this have taken to hiding in their houses at sunset. Yet this tactic does not seem to be working, the undead riders have taken to breaking into the houses on the outlying edges of the town and slaughtering the occupants.

Where do you fit into all of this? Ultimately that is up to you, but there are three main possibilities: you are a resident of Sigil, a traveler passing through that got caught up in the attacks for some reason, or one someone from one of the nearby towns coming to either to help or find out what is going on.

Your Character

I am going to use a stat system on this RPG. This is an idea I toyed with when I was creating my first RPG here (many, many moons ago), but I left it out in favor of the traditional way we do things around here.

This is not meant to be like stats in a traditional RPG, there will be no dice rolls. The main purpose for this is to be a quick reference guide to help resolve play. Tim with a strength of 3 arm wrestles Bob with a strength of 5, guess who wins? This is not to say Tim can not win, but Tim will have to find some way to win that does not rely solely on brute strength alone. (Maybe Tim is a little on the chunky side and leans all of his weight into the match).

The secondary reason for the stats is to enforce the normal human condition; no one is great at everything. People have their strengths and weaknesses.

I have decided to borrow the stats from the White Wolf series of RPG, because I think they cover the range nicely and lend themselves nicely to the main reason I wanted stats in the first place. We will however, not be grouping the stats (for those who know White Wolf). These are discussed below in the profile section.

Now, what I am expecting in terms of characters? I am expecting normal everyday humans that fit well into the Wild West setting of this RPG. No demons, wizards, cyborgs, vampires, ect. The only weird things I expect in this RPG are the bad guys.

That being said, you can have a human form any country or walk of life. Though if you are from another country I expect you to explain what you are doing in a small farming community in New Mexico. I do expect skills to match up, if you are a cow puncher from Montana and you bust out ninja style martial arts you better have a darn good excuse (and no, “I learned it from a China man.”, is not valid).

I would also like to keep this accurate within reason; it is not that hard to find info on this period of time on the Net. I am not expecting a book report and historically accurate facts, but simple stuff such as dress and weapons should be appropriate for the time period.

Astaraea
((WOOT!! Sounds exciting!!))

Name: Keeley
Age: 23
Sex: Female
Nationality: Originally born in Sigil, but her family moved to Alaska 7 years ago due to the attack.
Physical Description: Long dark brown hair and emerald green eyes. Wears a black leather hat which has a dip at the top and quite a wide rim, which casts a shadow over her eyes. She wears brown trousers with tassles and small-healed boots. Her shirst is checkered and a pair of black braces are attached to her trousers and tied over her shoulders.
Personality: She is quite tomboy-ish, which seems to be frowned upon wherever she goes. She can sometimes have quite a short fuse, but tries her hardest not to lose her temper. She is not always aware and could do with being a bit more paranoid at time to keep herself out of trouble.
Occupation: Was a jewel merchant in Alaska, but is now 'unemployed'. ((I'm not sure about this. Is it ok?))
Weapons: She has a rifle, which she carries in a holder that is swung over her shoulder, and a small revolver held in her belt.
Equipment: She has a pouch in which she stores her money. She rides a horse, if that counts as equipment. unsure.gif

Stats:
You have 31 points to spend however you want of the following stats, and I will be checking to make sure they add up.

Strength: 4

Dexterity: 3

Stamina: 3

Charisma: 4

Manipulation: 3

Appearance: 4

Perception: 3

Intelligence: 4

Wits: 3

Biography: Keely was born in Sigil, but, due to the attack in the town, she moved away with her family to Alaska, where she lived for 7 years. While there, she found herself and her family extremely poor due to a train robbery on their journey. All they had left were Keeley's grandmothers jewels, which weren't worth very much, but the money she received from selling the jewels allowed her to buy more and sell them off. She became a jewel merchant when a man who was buying her jewels showed her into the business. Keeley had originally planned to save the money for her family, but the man seemed to change her. She felt herself wanting to keep the money to herself. When she realised how greedy she was getting, she handed all her money over to her parents and got herself out of the business. Her father was very protective over her and forbid her to go back to Sigil. But when he died a month ago, Keeley swore to return to Sigil to find out more about what drove her family away from their home.

((Is that all ok?))
Shadows of essence
Astaraea four things.

1. The Sigil has only been under attack form the zombies for the last two days. The original attack was seven years ago. So the fact about moving away eighteen years ago needs to be fixed.

2. You have a Manipulation of zero, you realize that means you will not be able to lie, mislead or trick people into doing things at all. It also means you will be rather susceptible to manipulation yourself... very gullible.

3. Bio must be two paragraphs at minimum.

4. I am assuming you did not mean automatic pistol, but instead meant revolver or derringer. Please specify.

Other than that looks good, not trying to discourage you, just a few things to fix.

NOTE TO EVERYONE. I will go ahead an allow zeros in stats, but reallize that makes you VERY weak in that respect. You will never win when going up against someone else, no matter what you do.

Shadows
Astaraea
Ok. I edited my post now. It should be better. biggrin.gif
Sorry about that.
Shadows of essence
I am very sorry everyone... turns out I make a small mistake with the stats , I was wondering why Astaraea's stats were kind of low. You have a total of 31 points to spend on your stats. Forgot White Wolf gives you a default value of one in each stat.

I will edit the original post to reflect this.

Astaraea, you need a bit more information in your charecters' bio. Add something like why she became a jewel merchant.
Servant Saber
Name: Angela (Angel) Riley

Age: 20

Sex: Female

Nationality: Irish (Immigrant)

Physical Description: Angela is a gorgeous young lady of average height (5'5") and weight (115 lbs.). She has long, waist length hair in a vibrant shade of red. The hair becomes slightly wavy as it reaches down her back. She has a body to die for. In fact, since she started working, someone did. She wears makeup, but not so much that she looks like a cheap hooker. It makes her face look absolutely stunning, from the bright red lipstick to the light pink blush. She also has bright green eyes, the color of a field of grass in spring. She wears a red silk dress, something she sold almost all her belongings to purchase from a Chinese merchant in Carson City. She wears a black corset on the outside of the dress, serving to hold her 'assets' in place while she's performing, as well as serving to show them off to potential customers. On her feet, she wears a worn pair of brown workboots when she's not working. While on the job, a pair of red high heels is normal. She wears a frilly, white garter on her upper right thigh as well as some black, knee-high stockings.

Personality: Like all young Irish women, she's headstrong, free-spirited, and driven to success, no matter the cost. She's very open-minded, for a Catholic girl. She also never sleeps with a customer unless he pays his weight in gold to do so. She has high standards in this case, and usually keeps customers around and brings new ones in with her dancing and gossip.

Occupation: Saloon Girl - An entertainer by trade. With enough cash, and some VERY smooth talking, you might have a chance at riding something other than your horse. She also dances and is an average-skilled card player, sometimes playing in small town tournaments. Being in such a place, she often overhears plenty of conversation and gossip. Look no further than her if it's information you need.

Weapons: A small pea-shooter revolver, strapped securely to her leg in a specially made garter belt. The gun itself has a white handle and a silver colored barrel.

Equipment: None.

Stats:

Strength - 1 (About as tough as you'd expect a Saloon Girl to be.)
Dexterity - 3 (After all, one needs it to be a good performer.)
Stamina - 3 (Enough to get her through the day. But hey, she's a lady.)
Charisma - 6 (A people person, and in her line of work, that's a good thing.)
Manipulation - 2 (A sub-par speaker.)
Appearance - 8 (Here's a girl who's one in a million in the old west, a genuine beauty.)
Perception - 1 (She's a bit of a scatterbrain.)
Intelligence - 2 (She's not a blonde, but.. )
Wits - 5 (She's a fairly sharp tack.)

Biography: Angela was born in Belfast, Ireland to a blacksmith and a seamstress. With the potato famine in full swing, her parents made the journey to the United States, dispite the risk of doing so with a baby. Luckily, Angela survived the trip to New York, and the subsequent trip west to the town of Las Vegas. After staying in Las Vegas for a few years, the family moved south to Flagstaff, Arizona. Her father opened up a blacksmith shop there and her mother helped him repair saddles.

Even as a young child, Angela proved to be wild and independent. She had a knack for causing trouble, but just because she was a cute redhead, she was always able to get out of it. The same held true as she got older and grew into a very pretty young lady. About this time, when Angela was 16, her mother passed away from Scarlet Fever. Angela decided it was time to strike out on her own. Her father initially refused, but caved in with his daughter's pleading. She went to the town livery and hitched a ride with a merchant to the town of Sigil, New Mexico. Once there, she immediatly began looking for work.

It didn't take her long, though. She was spotted at the general store by Orville Rodgers, the owner of the town's saloon, the Broken Arrow. Orville had seen some pretty women pass through the town and some working for him. As it stood, he had only one saloon girl, a middle-aged woman named Annabell. But, when he saw Angela, he immediatly tried to hire her on. Angela was only more than willing to take the job. By now, the town was lively again since the Clemens gang's defeat a couple years back. Angela had her hands full now, dancing and playing cards to keep the customers happy. There was the dirtier side of her work, which involved sleeping with some customers who paid loads of money, but Orville had high standards about that and wouldn't let any old cowpuncher do so.

A few years later, Angela, now called Angel by Orville and her regular customers, is living a good life. But then, the attacks happened. At night, the Clemens gang would return from their graves and murder anyone who got in their way. Angela urged everyone to come to the Saloon when it got dark since it was better to have everyone in one place instead of scattered about the town.

Name: Ike Shaymes
Age: 34
Sex: Male
Nationality: Half Caucasian/Half Hispanic
Physical Description: Ike stands relatively 5'9 in stature and is a very lean man. His skin is darker than most others not only because he is half hispanic, but because of the fact that he spends most of his time outside. He has a slight limp in his left leg, and often slumps forward slightly when he is walking. He has short, messy black hair and looks like he hasn't shaved in weeks. He wears a tan cowboy hat, a black poncho that covers his upper body. His hands are visible, and the poncho ends at his knees. He also wears black chaps along with brown boots.
Personality: Ike is a very silent and troubled man. He mainly keeps to himself because he is not very well liked by some people.
Occupation: Was previously a member of the clergy in his earlier years, but then left for a life of sex, crime, and booze.
Weapons: Two revolvers, knife, and he does own a rifle, but rarely carries it with him.
Equipment: a rosary that is kept in his pocket

Stats:
You have 31 points to spend however you want of the following stats, and I will be checking to make sure they add up.

Strength: 3

Dexterity: 5

Stamina: 6

Charisma: 3

Manipulation: 3

Appearance: 1

Perception: 3

Intelligence: 4

Wits: 3

Biography: Ike Shaymes is the son of a white father and a hispanic mother. He was born near one of the silver mining boomtowns that were ever present in Arizona. His father had gone into business in one of these mines and Ike was lucky enough to be fairly rich growing up. His parents, who were deeply religious, always reminded him that although they were rich in material goods, that he should also remember to be rich in spirit. Both his parents encouraged him to join the clergy to one day become a priest. He fulfilled their wishes, and started his training in a church down in Mexico near the border.

When he was down there, Ike was happy knowing that what he was doing was making his parents, but more and more feelings of resentment started filling his heart. He would witness all the chaos that seemed to be the West and he questioned how any of this was tolerated by a higher power. But he continued to stay at the church and continue his training...until they came.

A group of men came to the church demanding that they return the money they stole from them. The night before the gang had been robbed of all of its money and then the gang decided to track them down. This little trek of theirs led them to the church, where they believed the money and the people who stole it were being hid. All of the priests pleaded with the men, telling them they had no idea what they were talking about. This answer did not make the men happy, and they made sure to make them rethink their answer. They crowded the church and started opening fire and ransacking the entire church, looking for secret compartments where the money might have been stored. No money or rival gang members were ever found, and the entire church had been ruined. This didnt matter to the gang members though, they had found food, water, and whatever else they needed in the search of the church. They left leaving everyone dead, except two men who were still alive, Ike, and another priest named Guillermo.

This attack solidified Ike's troubled mind. Once they left, Ike argued with the other priest about how God must not be real if he allows such senseless acts of violence to happen. taking one horse with him, Ike left the church and headed for Arizona, without praying for the fallen priests.

With God out of his life Ike started to turn into the very thing he hated. He lost all hope in life but then found it again in whorehouses and saloons. He became scum in the eyes of his former self and he didn't care. Thoughts of his parents left his head as his life continued to dwindle down. He journeyed from cow town to cow town, learning how to fight, fire guns, and have a "good time." His path did eventually cross with Clemens, and he joined the gang in its final days.

Now this last part has never been proven, but it is said that after witnessing and partaking of some of the awful deeds the Clemens gang did, Ike's conscious seemed to have taken over when they came to Sigil, New Mexico. He apparently tipped off some of the town's residents of where the gang was going to be and what they were going to do. With this information the town challenged the gang and the the Clemens name was never going to terrorize anyone again. Well so we think.

What is proven is that Ike did leave the gang the day before the shootout, which does look suspicious in the eyes of the gang members. Many who have heard this story have regarded Ike as a hero. Although some people who weren't necessarily allied with Clemens look at it from the same point of view and often regard Ike as a coward or a rat. He is often harassed at the saloons he goes to often by these types of characters, but he chooses to ignore it. Ike has never denied or approved what the people say about him, and it seems as if nobody will. With the news of the undead corpses of the Clemens gang having returned, he wonders if it was a good decision to join the gang at all.

((This bio is kinda ugh but it'll do I suppose. Hope to get in, this one looks really good.))
ZeroKyoji
Name: Gino Luis Cordezo
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Nationality: Cuban and Italian (maternal Italian)

Physical Description: Gino is a rather big man, at 6' and 200lbs his broad shoulders look like he borrowed them from an Ox. He has short brown hair and caramel skin that gets very dark in the summer. His face usually carries a five o'clock shadow over his strong jaw. He sometimes wears a hat with a wide brim all around it if the sun is hot or it is raining, but otherwise he wears only a wife beater tucked into trail-battered green slacks held up by a wide belt. He wears a ring on a chain around his neck, his fathers wedding ring. His arms are nearly always brazen in sweat and dust from work, he never lets his corded muscles tire. He also has a scar on his forehead whos end drops just between his eyebrows. Possibly the oddest thing about him though is that he has deep blue eyes despite his heritage...and never knew his grandparents to see if maybe he got it from one of them.

Personality: Gino is a quiet man who keeps to himself, ever the stranger when travelling town to town to make his living. However if approached he is rather cordial and polite, never turning down an opportunity for a (usually short lived) friend. His manners were drilled into him by his father back in Cuba, and his honesty will stay with him until he dies.

Occupation: In Cuba, his father was a retired gunsmith turned coffee plantation worker after the war ended. On Gino's 12th birthday he began training in both of his father's trades, and to this day he still practices both. However his main occupation is currently as a travelling bounty hunter and gunsmith.

Weapons: He carries with him two revolvers in plain sight, one is a specially made reflex action eight-shooter his father made for him, the grip and detailing all done in beautiful ivory. The other is a matte black six-shooter he made with his own hands, from black ore he dug from the ground himself.

Equipment: His faithful speckled Appaloosa mare Che carries all his gear for survival, tent, shovels, lantern etc. He also has a brown leather jacket for bad weather and hardy boots in several colors. There is a machete strapped to the horse's side.

Stats:

Strength: 4 (From many days working the fields)
Dexterity: 4 (He has trained long and hard for his quick gun hand)
Stamina: 4 (Raised under 12 hours of hot sun in the fields, he can certainly hold his own.)
Charisma: 3 (Sincere and humble, but hardly the most charming man youll meet)
Manipulation: 1 (It is not that he is tactless, he is only painfully honest.)
Appearance: 5 (But who cares with a face like that?)
Perception: 3 (He can call his share of bluffs.)
Intelligence: 3 (Not exactly the most schooled of men but...)
Wits: 4 (He definitely shines brightest when he must act under pressure.)

Biography: His father Inigo had to retire his smithing shop once business had nearly stopped completely, and the lush world of men who have money was revealed to him at the age of 5, and at 8, stolen away. Forced to work a coffee field for minimal pay Gino was raised in a hut by the sea. His mother had left Inigo once he had claimed poverty, and though she was never around anyway, he was still affected deeply by it.

Despite the hardships though Inigo made sure his son was raised strong and independent, and taught him everything he knew of both might and mind. "Bravery, my son, is the ability to still perform when you are scared half to death," He could still hear his father's voice in his head everywhere he went, he never left Gino's thoughts.

When Gino was 17, he was off running an all day errand with Che while his father remained at home for he was ill. When he returned after nightfall, the horror that greeted him could only bring him to his knees with grief. He had always known papa had a debt to pay off, as the smithshop was loaded with back rent when he had to close it down. Inigo had been murdered mercilessly by hired men. Gino's rage filled him, and so he buried his father and stole off into the midnight moon to find the man who had done this. He vowed to himself never to practice his fathers trade again until he could stare the man that ordered this in the eye as he died.

And so Gino ventures on, all those behind him lost but not forgotten, travelling from city to city selling his wares, picking up bounties and carousing in saloons. And he most definitely still practices his fathers trade.

(A little cheesy, I know but its a start.)

Ok, the site being hacked set this rpg back a bit back a bit. I honestly thought it would take a longer to recover the forums, so I did not check back in until today.

So let's start approving profiles...

Astaraea, rewrite looks good. I have no problem with the occupation, though i am glad you raised your manipulation since you would have to be a terribly honest salesmen with your original zero. Approved.

Elhaym, I am dying to see how this sallon girl deals with the undead. However, your stats are a bit off, 33 instead of 31. I recomend knocking a few points off your Apperance, an 8 is still off the scale. Approved once you fix your stats.

Neccers, I'd really like to see you play the clergy man gone bad part (nice western theme). Approved.

ZeroKyoji. A traveling bounty hunter? Poor guy wondered into the wrong town at the wrong time smile.gif. Approved.

Ok, looks like we are off to a good start. I really would have liked to get the RPG started by now, but we are going to delay a bit.

For starters I would like to see a few more profiles (need to get mine up as well) and the hack seems to have hindered people joining.

The second reason is I am getting married next Friday, so while I may start it sometime next week, I plan on it being slow for a bit.

But do not worry, I will get this started sooner rather than later.
Seluna
Although this is irrelevant, congratulations on getting married, Shadow. ^^ Remember to drop us an inactivity note if you're planning to go on a honeymoon to some nice place that will probably make us drool.

Okay, something relevant. Much as I like the concept a whole lot, I'm too busy to handle another roleplay. sad.gif Sorry.
Shadows of essence
Name: Philip “Squint” Termun

Age: 24

Sex: Male

Nationality: Born and raised in Kansas

Physical Description: Philip stands a little over six feet tall and is a bit on the thin side. Philip has curly brown hair that goes down about mid neck, he keeps it neatly trimmed and mostly covered with a battered cowboy hat. From beneath the hat, his dark brown eyes reside behind a pair of thick wire-framed glasses (Philip is terribly far sighted). He has a couple of long sleeved shirts (mostly white and red) which he alternates between and a brown vest which he wears over the shirts, his deputy star firmly affixed. A few simple pairs of tan britches, and a pair of comfortably worn cowboy boots cover the rest of his body.

Personality: Generally a jovial, happy person, many find it easy to like Philip. His sense of humor is fairly sarcastic, but it rarely offends anyone. He truly loves his job and helping others, he is as quick to level his rifle at outlaws as his is lend a hand to someone carrying a heavy load. Even in the midst of a firefight, he usually has time to spare a smile. He prefers to fall back and use the distance afforded to him by his rifle. Not incredibly learned, but Philip is very quick witted and full of common sense.

Occupation: Deputy in Sand’s Bluff, a town to the south of Sigil

Weapons: Philip’s primary weapon is a 1876 Winchester repeating rifle. He keeps a non-descript revolver on his hip, but rarely uses it.

Equipment: Bandolier, always kept full of rifle ammunition (30 rifle rounds). Spare set of glasses, kept in a protective case. Doesn’t have a horse, but carries around a pair of saddle bags to carry his stuff.

Stats:

Strength: 2 (he is a gun man, not a brawler)
Dexterity: 4 (Got to be quick with a gun, even a rifle, to stay alive )
Stamina: 3 (a little on the frail side, but he can still keep up)
Charisma: 4 (a rather likable person who makes friends easily)
Apperance: 3 (decent looking, but no lady killer)
Manipulation: 2 (no very good a lying or deciet)
Perception: 5 (despite being nearly blind up close without his glasses, his long range vision is just fine. Philip is very observant)
Intelligence: 3 (Knows a bit about cattle, reading and writing, and some basic math)
Wits: 5 (specializes in thinking on his feet)

Biography:
Philip grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Kansas. As a child Philip spent his time helping around the ranch and the house. The boy’s poor eye sight and thin frame kept him mostly in the house. As he grew older, his father allowed him to help with the cattle themselves. Philip enjoyed helping his father and the time they got to spend together. With incredible anticipation, Philip longed for the day he would be able to go on the cattle drives himself.

Finally, after he turned fifteen, his father allowed Philip to accompany the cattle drive. The long trip to Texas was fairly uneventful, but exciting for a young boy none the less. Each of the men on the drive made an effort to keep an eye on the young man and help him learn how to do the job. Toward the end of the trip however, the cowboys caught sound of rustlers in the middle of the night. His father gave him a revolver, and told him to stay put and stay quiet.

However, Philip could not sit idly by as his father and new friends risked their lives to protect the cattle. Philip quickly realized the small pistol would be useless to him if his glasses fell off and he did not plan on getting real close lest his dad send him running back to the campfire. Grabbing one of the rifles laying near the fire, Philip took off into the night after the rustlers. That night two rustlers were killed, and the rest taken captive, in part due to Philip’s newly discovered talent with rifles.

A few days later, the cattle drive arrived in town and turned over their prisoners to the sheriff. Philip was instantly mesmerized with the new authority figure before him. While his father was selling the cattle, Philip was busy pestering the sheriff with questions.

For the next few years, Philip helped his father with the ranch and the cattle drive, rifle in hand. At age eighteen, left the ranch to pursue a career in law enforcement. He bounced around from town to town as a gun for hire and an occasional deputy until he ended up in Sand’s Bluff where he has resided for the last two years. When the situation in Sigil occurred, Philip volunteered to go help.

Hey everyone,

I'm actually on my way out the door to my wedding now. I am not going on my honeymoon untill the 5th so I will be back next week to start Undead Cowboys. I am sorry I did not start it this week, but the wedding preperation really consumed all my time.

But in short, I will not be back until Monday. Then I will start this rpg.

Sorry for the double post, but I did not think this was a long enough period of inactivity to go in the inactive thread.

DxS
Congrats man, and have fun. I'll see you back here on Monday so we can get things started. smile.gif
Shadows of essence
Okay, I decided to open with an NPC’s view point. Sorry if anyone has a problem with this opening.

Everyone can now get their intro posts in. Let’s have everyone’s posts take place before nightfall.

Time for the first twist…

Everyone who has been in town for longer than two weeks was overcome with a wave of revulsion fourteen days ago. If they try to go more than a mile from town they become horrified and have to turn back. Essentially, no residents or long term visitors are getting out.

For those arriving in town, when approaching town you are also overcome with a wave of revulsion, but whatever is causing it has not yet taken a hold of you. You can leave town, but still get a sense of fear when trying to do so. The longer you stay in town, the stronger this sense of fear becomes.

This aura of fear has not been mapped out…

Onto personnel note, please forgive for the late start of this RPG. But with the wedding and all, I have been rather busy of late. As I said before I am here for a week, then off to my honeymoon. I will try to check in during my spare time if my new wife will let me smile.gif . But I plan to set it up so you guys can keep posting in my absence.

BTW, why didn’t anyone tell me how many pictures I would have to pose for on my wedding day? I think my smile is broken…
Seluna
Congrats Shadow, and I wish you and your new wife much happiness. ^^ As for the pictures... I thought it was to be expected. :PThat's why I'm contemplating persuading my boyfriend to not have a very formal ceremony if and when we marry.

The good news is, I'm considering joining this RP after my project finishes. ^^ But let's see how it'll go for now.
Rudy06
Just to say...

I may join this. =D...My creative side has been kind of bubbly lately. The stat system is interesting.

I'm guessing Philip's Manipulation and Appearance are at 1, right?
Shadows of essence
Seluna, Rudy, you guys are more than welcome to join this when you can.

I am leaving registration open for most if not all of this RPG's lifespan. Charecters could easily be explained as just arriving in Sigil. We are not moving from the city, so others could quickly catch up.

As for Philip's stats, thanks for the catch Rudy. I swear I had those stats in my post when I wrote it. I will adjust. Man that makes me feel dumb. I have to stop posting late at night smile.gif . Guess that is the problem with being the person in charge of approving profiles, I have no one to double check mine...

Biography:
Alistar was orfened as a small boy due to his father's bad gambling habits, along with his drinking. Alistars father, Gregory Zepütan, beat his wife Ésile consistantly infront of Alistar day and night scaring him for life. It was when Alistar was 3years old when his father took it too far.. and killed Ésile.
When the town had heard of his actions they shunned him from society, along with Alistar who was still only 3. Alistar's aunt Arya, who was Ésile's elder sister whom never married, whent one day to visit, but before she reached her sister's house, the towns people gave her the bad news. Crushed, she ran to her sisters house only hoping to prove them all wrong.. Arya even broke down the pad-locked door, somehow. And there he was.. Alistar sitting in the middle of the floor, now 4 1/2 years old with his father no where in sight. He abandond little Alistar.
Alistar, now 12, living at his aunts house in the foothills of scottland. Was never accepted into society after Arya got drunk in a bar once and told everyone of her journey to germany. Alistar ran away from home on his 13th birthday seeking salvation, or at leaste a family who doesnt drink, ever. Alistar doesnt travel far, and stays in an abandoned cottage hidden in some woods outside of the town. Since Alistar doesnt have a job, or have any way of receiving money to pay for food, he starts stealing from the town and it people. The town quickly realizes their new thief but doesn't know where he is hiding, the only thing the townspeople do know is that he steals at night, when everyone is asleep but doesnt take more than he needs.
Alistar leaves his cottage for another night's theft, the night is cold and the most of the leaves have fallen from the trees. Alistar takes a new path towards the town every couple of theft's, in fear that they may track his path. His path's are usualy tiwsts and turns, so if they do try tracking him, it would take them awhile. As he approches the town, the street is lit by small candles hanging outside of the windows. Alistar takes a winding path behind the houses, trying to remain hidden by their shadows and stops at Gertrudes' clothing store. His current cloths are worn with age and needs to be replaced with new ones. Alistar creeps through one of the side windows and starts examining the plethora of clothing she has in stock. After around 20 minutes Alistar comes across a pile of black cloths, but not only cloths but are actually cloaks.

These would be most helpful..

He takes two cloaks, one his size, and one large one hoping to grow into it when he out-fitted his current one. Alistar took off most of his cloths and in their place, the cloak.

Much better.. now, i need something.. sharp

Leaving the way he enterd the store, Alistar now headed for the blacksmith's workshop. Since the front of the workshop was open, it was easy for him to get in. Alistar tripped over a large metal object on the floor, probably one of the blacksmith's tools, and into pile of wrenches and hammers, making a lot more noise than Alistar wished to make.

Curse that slob, now they know im here!

Almost as soon as he fell, almost all of the lights in the small town went on, and out came the towns-people.
Alistar quickly grabbed a meduim sized leather sac on his way out hoping that what ever may be inisde would be of some use. Bark's and howl's is what Alistar heard behind him as he ran from the town, he was being chased by their hunting dog's. Alistar ran through the woods outside of the town, passing the cottage he had stayed in, and just kept on running and praying the dog's would stop chasing him. The night grew old but Alistar kept running.
Alistars travels lead him to a monestary somewhere north of scottland located within a mountain, hidden from society. Here Alistar lives until he is 15.
Alistar travels back down south to where his aunt house is. He walks through the front door and checks the living room for his aunt, shes not there. He checks the dinning room, not there either. His travels lead him upstairs to her bedroom to where he finds her there, lying.. and slowly dying. Alistar walks up to his sick aunt, now old with age and for the first time since Alistar was a child, she heres his voice: "Im sorry.. I-" Arya now takes his hand in hers and tells him..

"Kill him, kill that bastard."

"W-w-who?"

".. Your Father"

At that moment, Alistar has a flashback to one of the times he beat his mother, how she screamed for him to stop, how she yelled that she was sorry, and at that moment Alistar knew what he had to do. For the first time in his life Alistar knew exactly what he had to do.. what he wanted to do. To kill, kill anyone or anything that got in his way of him reaching his one and only goal, avenging his mother and his aunt, to kill the one person he hated most, Gregory Zepütan.
"I will Aunt Arya, and theres nothing thats going to stop me-" Arya's eyes closed shut, dead.. and smiling.

Alister of the age of 15&3/4ths gets a hint that his father is somewhere in New Mexico in a small town called Sigil. Nothing has stopped Alistar so far, and nothing will, and with Alistar's 16th birthday coming soon, he hopes to have his fathers head in his hands, severd from its body, on his birthday.

OK...

Gamer,

I told you to post a profile and get approved. I’ve not approved you yet, so you should not have posted in the IC. I will let that slide, but you have several things in your profile that need some fixing. First, we will cover the little stuff. Occasionally misspelling stuff or using poor grammar is acceptable (guilty of that one myself). However you have way too many, it detracts from your posts. Please run spell check and grammar check before you post and it should clear up most of the problems.

I would have a problem with you weapon choice, but you explained it by the monk training. It is the monk training that I have an issue with. I can not by any stretch of the imagination believe there was a martial monastery in Northern Scotland during the late 1800’s. I asked everyone to keep it realistic. If anyone can prove otherwise I will allow it.

I will allow the swords, but please make them of German or European variety. Or at the very least, explain how they came to be in your character’s possession.

Other than that I do not have a problem with the character concept. If you can fix theses problems I’ll approve the profile. In the mean time, please clean up your post in the IC thread and take out the part about the martial arts. You can still have the small scuffle; just describe it a bit differently. Do not be discouraged and delete your IC post, just clean it up a bit. A few small edits on your character and you will be good to go.

As for everyone else excluding Elhaym and Gamer, POST! I am not saying go crazy since I am technically inactive, but at least get your intro posts in during my absence…

The IC thread has been up for over a week and so far only two people have posted and one was not even approved.

I will get my intro post up soon after I get back from Florida.

Sorry I hadn't posted in the IC topic earlier, I've had to do a bunch of stuff the past few days and I should have posted in this topic saying that I wouldn't get it up for a while, but its there now and hopefully it can gain some steam.
Shadows of essence
Just so everyone knows, I'm back. I would have posted sooner, but it has been crazy. After we got back, I took Saturday off to just unwind and meld with my video games. I planned on posting Sunday, but alas I had what appeared to be a sever allergic reaction to something and got very sick Sunday morning (full body rash, itching and vomiting). Forutunately, aside from a weak stomach I seemed to have completely recovered. I was going to post today, but apparently taking off for a week from work means that they stockpile my work and expect everything done on my first day back (or atleast enough to keep me up late tonight).

I hope to post tommorow. If I do not, and you guys want to continue go ahead and start the action. Philip can join in later. However, if you plan on making any other pre-night posts, do try to get them in, becuase when I post (again unless somehitng happens, tommorow) I will advance the time to nightfall and zombie attack.

BTW, Gamer, the revison looks great, Approved

Just to say, I have a character partially made. He would have been completed and posted, but my first day back to school I started off with three simple assignments as well as a writing assignment(which had to be a short story of 250-500 words....the hard part...making it that short. I had to downsize from about 700)Hopefully,however, I can post it tomorrow.
Gamer-Since-Birth
sounds neet-oh!

..Man, we need people to start posting more in the.. the.. whats it called? OOC or IC?.. wait a minute.. what does OOC and IC mean anyway?

GAHH so confused >.<
Rudy06
OOC- Out of Character. The OOC Topic is what this topic is all about. It is where we post, out of character, and discuss how the story is moving or should be.

IC- In Character. Where posts display our formatted characters and where the real storytelling takes place.

I won't get my profile posted today...but tomorrow is a definite!
Gamer-Since-Birth
Many thanks rudy.
Im looking forward too see your profile, and i hope its approved fast so we can get this RP rollin' !
Rudy06
Name: Richard Allan (Same Pronunciation as Allen.)
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Nationality: Caucasian(Born and raised in the U.S.A., as were his parents)

Physical Description: Richard is a simple young man barely reaching six feet and only weighs about 150 pounds. His brown hair covers his forehead and ears in no styled manner. He generally wears a white, full-length button-up shirt under a simple tan work vest (No pockets, etc. Basically just a piece of leather.) He wears a pair of tan work pants with red suspenders with two grey lines running down their lengths. The suspenders are worn only when he is working. He has a pair of brown farming boots that make him appear to 'trudge' rather than walk.

Personality: Richard enjoys reading and with that he tends to keep to himself. In his mind, if someone wants to talk to him, they will start the conversation and he will just wait until that moment. He is a reliable friend, but very hard to get close to. However, he does tend to give almost anyone the benefit of the doubt in situations and is willing to help out where needed. Richard is one, unfortunately, to take betrayal of his trust to a deep level.

Occupation: Richard was raised to be flexible. He has knowledge of basic medical treatment, such as: cleaning, sewing, and setting wounds. On the other side, his father raised him to know more about the land. He is a known guide through the plains and woods around Lake Michigan.

Weapons: Richard carries a Spencer Repeating Rifle, one of the first to offer magazines, and a simple single actions revolver.

Equipment: He carries a brown pack that holds his extra white shirts and other necessities such as medical supplies and extra rifle bullets(and only a handful of pistol bullets). He also has a brown horse, which he hasn’t named yet.

Stats:
You have 31 points to spend however you want of the following stats, and I will be checking to make sure they add up.

Strength: 3 (Years as a farm hand give him some muscles.)
Dexterity: 4 (Needs to speed to get out of situations where he has to talk.)
Stamina: 3 (Mid-Distance Runner at best.)
Charisma: 2 (Friendly, but rather timid, making people think he is unsure of himself.)
Manipulation: 2 (He can walk the walk, but when it comes to talking...)
Appearance: 3 (A Nice Face, but doesn’t care enough to use it.)
Perception: 4 (Nice Ace in your sleeve there...)
Intelligence: 5 (He’s a reader)
Wits: 5 (Since he can’t talk his way out of situations...he’ll have to do something else.)

Biography: Richard was born in central Indiana to a Civil War veteran and the daughter of a famous doctor. William, Richard’s step-father, started off as a advance scout for the Union Army, but quickly moved up and became one of the key pieces for the Union’s army effective mobilization. He was eventually placed in charge of a small detachment specifically made to deliver battle tactics and scout out the forward area. However, during the last year of the Civil War, he was struck down by a stray bullet from a nearby battle.
He was quickly transported to a Union medical station in Kentucky where he came under the care of Doctor Benjamin Rhodes, the father of his future wife. Ashley Campbell, Doctor Benjamin’s daughter, worked as a nurse under her father and came to know William and a few years after they were married. Ashley was married before the war, but her husband was killed in the first year of it. Ashley and her former husband had Richard in 1861 and grew up knowing William as his father.
After the war, Richard lived with his mother and step-father until he was 10 years of age where his grandfather insisted he should visit for a time. William was against the idea, but gave in to Ashley’s hope the Richard would ‘have a chance at living a better life.’ Richard moved in with his grandfather into a small town in southern Connecticut. His grandfather enrolled him in a private school and he excelled among the students due to his grandfather’s constant tutoring sessions. At the age of seventeen, Richard decided to return home to southern Michigan to help out his step-father and mother. His grandfather, as a parting gift, gave him numerous books to read some for enjoyment and other for study.
Once Richard returned home he was thrown back into the daily life of farmer and worked sunrise to sunset, helping his step-father. At night he would read the books his grandfather gave him by candlelight, fearing if he gave up reading he would lose his ‘thirst for knowledge’, as his grandfather had said it.
At the age of twenty, he began working as guide, helping rich officials and merchants travel through the hilly lands of northern Indiana and southern Michigan. It wasn’t the most profitable job, however, it did give Richard what he wanted, knowledge.
After four years, Richard has now decided to go west, one of the few places in the US he has never been. It was filled with the unknown, to him, and stories. His first goal was California. He asked a few of his fellow guides who had been to the west and back, and almost of them gave him the same directions, except for one. He told Richard of a less used route, filled with plenty of scenery and small towns. Richard wasn’t one to follow the easy path, so he decided to take the less traveled route.

Let me know if I need to change anything. I'll start my first post with Richard not at Sigil, but then will zip forward.

Rudy,
the profile looks great. I was wondering if we were going to get a "brain" for this group. Looks like we have almost all classes covered with our active players. Approved. Post your intro whenever you get a chance.

Gamer,
I do not expect this RPG to be a fast one, so do not worry about it going slowly. I know I'm a busy guy and most of our other members are busy too. Now while I do not want the RPG crawling, I do not mind a leisurely pace.

Oh, for future referance.. you mentioned to me something about a spell check.
I was looking all over for it when i was posting, but failed to see it.
Do you think you could tell me where it might be?
Or is the spellcheck not on the site, like, i have to use Microsoft Word for the spell check..
If so, i do not have Mircosoft Word. I dont know why, but it was never installed onto this computer.

Reno
This one looks like it has an interesting twist. I may try it out:

Name: Jericho Simmons
Age: 36
Sex: Male
Nationality: Caucasian (Raised in Virginia)
Physical Description: Standing at about six foot two, a bit broad shouldered, Jericho is a bit chiseled in the facial structure with some shadowed features around the eyes and rounded cheek bones. His eyes are an emerald color and his hair shows to be an auburn color with some graying on the roots. His hat is usually a dusty color and shows some wear and tear from age and use over the years, and he would normally dress in a standard buttoned up shirt, leather vest, with a dusty old overcoat, a pair of muddy colored slacks and dark brown boots.
Personality: Jericho has a strong sense in justice and is more of an enforcer when it comes to law and order. Although he isn't much of a lawman anymore, Jericho still firmly believes that there are logical explanations when it comes to disputes and tries to settle them in a gentlemen like manner as a moderator. If someone tries to push him over the edge, expect a Navy issued .45 to be pointed at your head. When it comes to personal life, Jericho keeps to himself. Some things aren't meant to be left out in the open. He also tends to gamble from time to time playing Poker or Blackjack. Being from Virginia, he firmly believes in protection of family and friends if a small town gets into a jam.
Occupation: Dodge City Marshal (Ret. 10 years), Stage Coach Security: Winchester, VA (3 Years), Northfolk Sheriff Deputy (3 Years), Tradesman/Miner (current)
Weapons: 1861 Colt Navy Revolver (http://www.emf-company.com/1861-model-navy.htm), Winchester Rifle Model 1873 (http://www.emf-company.com/1873-lever-action-rifle.htm)
Equipment: Bowie Knife, Canteen, Roll up bag, Beef Jerky, cigerettes, Pick, Shovel, strainer, a few empty bags.

Perception: 4

Intelligence: 3

Biography: Marshal Jericho Simmons, Lawman, Enforcer, intimidator, call him what you will, he was once a man who cut no slack to anyone, and colder than the dead winters of the north. Gambles for more than what is bargained for in his time. Luck usually is at his side and generally gets away from gunfights unscathed. Sometimes he gets hit from time to time, but Jericho has earned his nickname: Judge Jericho. With a strong sense of justice and firm enforcer of the law, Jericho can be harsh like Judge in court. Though most of the time, he keeps to himself when it comes to personal life.

Born and raised in Winchester, Virginia; Jericho has learned the hardships of life through his family. His father, who ran a small business in Winchester, was a stern man who was an idealist and peacemaker. his mother, who lived in a small ranch which his father purchased off the hands of a retired rancher heading west, was a woman who could be stiffer than an iron board at times, but a sweet, gentle heart and angelic smile to any visitors that Jericho and his father brought home. During his childhood, Jericho helped his mother around the house while his father was in town. Doing the daily chores, taming the horses, gathering crops, helping prepare for supper. His life could be harsh if you thought of it that way. Though not entirely, Jericho learned how life would be once he hit the age where he would be a man. His father always told him: "Never let a man run you down. Keep firm and stick with what you believe." For most of the time, Jericho tried to make it on his own once he was sixteen. Working for a local stagecoach as a gaurd for transport to the coach, riding shotgun from one destination to the next. Jericho had learned to pick up a gun from the ranch practicing on cans and bottles set up on the fence in the back of the house. His father wasn't much of a marksman but showed him a trick or two. The rest of the tricks were picked up from fellow stagecoach escorts and deputies in Winchester when he was deputy for Sheriff Tom Roscoe. Eventually, he had been asked to be a lawman for Dodge City, where he kept strict law enforcement for the next ten years. He had met men like Wyatt Earp and ran into troublesome men who believed they owned the town and were the law. Once Judge Jericho ran Dodge City, they learned pretty quickly through gunfights and through his stern force. He can be manipulative if needed to and loves to play Black Jack or Poker. Usually hangs out at a saloon or local pub just to keep things in line for a while.

Now 36, Jericho has left his life as a lawman to start a new life. No one really knows why Judge Jericho left the life of a lawman, there were rumors that he may have a burden over the dead he failed to save, or killed an innocent man by accident during a showdown or enforcing the law in Dodge City. Some say it had something to do with Dodge City Saloon Fire, where a little girl was rumored to be killed inside. Then again, Judge Jerich is pushing fourty at this point, maybe he isn't as quick like he used to be. It also could be his body starting to take its toll on him considering he had been hit a few times while involved those 13-26 gunfights, some of the hits could've rendered him crippled, but he somehow got lucky. At the moment though, it can be a sore subject for Jericho to bring up considering it seems likt its a deep wound in his heart. In either case, bringing up the subject of his retirementHis plans were to head west and see if he can strike it rich. On the way, he isn't much of a trader, but considering its something new, he's up for the challenge and hopes to make something out of his trade for help on his Journey. He enters the small town of Sigil, New Mexico on his way to the West Coast in hopes to strike it rich. He has no idea what he has walked himself into nore does he know what may be the outcome here. Who knows, maybe he'll hit the poker table or Black Jack table just to make a few dollars to go on in his pocket. His luck may just change.

Hopefully that covers it, if there is anything that needs adjusting, let me know.
Shadows of essence
Reno,

Looks good, but there are two things that need addressed.

The first is the stats. I gave you 31 points, because some of the players wanted zeros (and if you look some are way above five). I took into account that White Wolf starts all stats at one when I came up with the 31 point total. So revise your stats a bit. We are not using the White Wolf system, I just took the stats from them.

The second issue is in your bio. Why did Jericho give up the life of a lawman? You do not have to go into great detail, especially if you want is to be a secret, but I would like atleast a sentence giving a hint as to cause of the sudden life change.

Fix those and you will be good to go.

Shadows
Reno
Okay, I made the corrections that was suggested. The stats should be accurate, and I left a few hints as to why he left the life of a lawman. Hope it helps some. It'll be revealed a little later on or if the ST would like, I can explain what happened to Jericho through PM.

I hope this helps.
Shadows of essence
Reno, profile looks fine now. Approved. If possible, can you post like you have been in Sigil for a bit (even just the day)? We already had two people that arrived tonight, so just for reality's sake it would look better if everyone did not arrive on the same night. If you can't do not sweat it, it is just an RPG.

As for everyone else, POST!

I think a post a week from everyone is a nice pace for this RPG. So please try to get atleast a post in every week, I do not think it is that hard to find some time to do so.

I can post like I've been in Sigil for a day, but I don't think he would know what has been going on considering he was only there for the day. I can set it up like he showed up this morning or yesterday if you'd like. Like I said, it would be best if Jericho didn't know what was going on yet. Not until he either finds out for himself or see's something odd going on. If thats okay with you. I don't think he would know in one day. He would have to be there for a while to find out what was going on. If not, I can wait until later so that not everyone is showing up at once. Also, if you want to, Jericho could be well known, but thats entirely up to you too. Sorry if I'm kind of powergaming here. ^^;
Shadows of essence
Reno, I have no problem with him not knowing about the zombies running aorund. He will at the very least know about the Clemens gangs nightly raids (someone will have mentioned somehting to a stranger entering town).

As for him being well known, leave that up to the charecters. Philip might know him since he is also a lawman, but that does not mean everyone else will.

okay, I'll see about posting something sometime in a bit.

Uhm,
Where exactly is this "Spell-Check" I've been hearing about?
Is it featured on the forum? Or do i like.. have to go somewhere else to find it?
Shadows of essence
Gamer,

Thre is no spell check I know of in the forum itself. But there are spell checkers in almost all good word processing programs. Heck if you have a yahoo account, there is a spell checker on the email editor.

If you can not find a spell checker somewhere, do not sweat it too much. Just keep an eye on what you are writing and proofread. I'm not expecting error free posts (even with spell checker things slip by, believe me), the reason I made the comment was your first few posts looked liked you just typed and did not care how badly the words turned out. Just put in some effort to read what you write and catch some of the errors.

Like I said do not panic about not having a spell checker, your posts as of late are fine.

Shadows
Shadows of essence
Sorry for the double post.

Reno, judging from your post it took place earlier in the day (and so did Jericho's and Angel's conversation). Is this a correct assumption or am I reading it wrong? I'm just trying to figure out if it occured earlier, or if Jericho is so steady that a zombie being blown to bits in the saloon doesn't do much to affect his card game.

It is okay if he is, just wanting to be clear as it say a LOT about him.

I'll try to get a post up tonight which should set it up so Gamer can have some fun (I think he is itching to slash some zombies) and allow Rudy to extract himself from his current situation (got to suck being dehydrated and surrounded by zombies).

Elhaym, since your the source of gossip for this game why don't you come up with some interesting bits of information about the town and it's residents. I'll try to pm you tonight with a few certain bits of informatioin I'd like Angela to know about.

Everyone else, please chime in if you plan on still participating.

As for the game.

The horses are real, do not know if they are technically alive, but they are not undead. I pictured them more as golems or summoned creatures. They, like the riders, will return the next night.

Getting shot. When shot by the undead riders you feel as if you have been hit by a real bullet, but there is no bullet to remove. (ooooo spooky, no?) The wound track is still there and needs to be treated, but no bullet.

I figure we should wrap up this fight in the next few posts and go back to the saloon to figure out what is going on and rest up. Where we go from there will depend on everyone else.

Yeah, I'm here. I just have a few things consuming me right now. And I'm still waiting on that PM as well, Shadows as well as the other characters to finish what it is they're doing.

Nope, sorry to disappoint but I'm not joining this roleplay yet. I've got my hands full with what I'm doing. Sorry, Shadows.

However, I'm dropping something useful : Link . ^^ Tell me if you want anything editted, Shadows. And I'll be sure to keep an eye out for new profiles.

That's really neat Seluna, but one question..
What does "Drache" mean, or what language is it in?

I've never seen that word before, so Im just curious to know. biggrin.gif

Ide probably feel really dumb If "Drache" is an english word, actualy, on that thought.. I'll go look in the dictionary.

Apparently... it means Dragon in German. o.o I read about that reference in a novel, because a person's whose surname is Drache is a descendent of a dragon and somebody sorta pointed that out in the story, that his name means dragon.

But with the site, it just means 'Dreamers Roleplay ArCHivE'. tongue.gif
