All the copies that i adquired of the game Wild ARMs Alter Code F have a trouble and i want your advice guys, and opinions: after healing Rudy and after the reunion where you know about the gemini circuit, comes the FMV when Emma gives you the protowing, my screen turns black and nothing happens. The game doesnt move on. I bought like 5 or 6 copies and all are the same. I want to buy an original but idont know if in USA or UK the original have the same trouble. Why do you suggest? I buy the original? but the last buy, when sellmen tell that is a copy of an original. I dont what to do? Please give me an advice. I want to end the game!!!.

My copy had no faults or defects. So, whether it is a certified 'copy' or not, it isn't insured by the makers, or localization team, so quality can't be a definite. One of the many downsides of pirated games.

The problem could be your own PS2 as well, so have you tried taking the game to a friend and see if it works on their PS2?

the only major glitch i found in my game was after using the Detector on the world map and trying to pick up an item chunks of the world map would disappear. :eek:

would really suck if the immediate map vanished, leaving me stranged.

It cant be my play2, because i probe the copies and others 3 differents play2. I dont know what it is.

It can still be your PlayStation 2.

My PS2 froze a certain scene in Xenosaga 1, but every other game I had worked perfectly. That Xenosaga copy worked on my friends PS2 though.

And what do you mean by "I probe the copies"?

I try to say "i prove the copies", i had a mistake in one letter. The thing is that the copies works from the beginning of the game until occurs the supposed glitch in all the 3 playstations 2, so my play 2 doesnt have any trouble, the same for the others two.

Unfortunately, this is not a glitch. I am also the victim (Tried 10 times, no avail) =p

Ths discs you bought all were pirated. You've been bullied.
All non original copies freeze at the said event, there's nothing you can really do.

Suikoden V also had this problem, in the event of the sacred games, when you had to choose to let Lym see the rest fight or not, Queen Asthrat will kept on repeating her words over and over again.

I just knew that i was buying a copy but i thought that wasnt a pirate copy, i guess that now i should save my money to buy an original but in my country there only a few stores where you can buy an original. All the games for Ps2, or xbox and xbox360 that we, the argentinians, bought are copies. Good copies can i said, if i can. The difference between the pesos argentinos and the dollars is huge, so no all the people we can buy an original. This is the reality in my country. Thanks for explaining me about the pirate copies. i have this game and was also having troule with it. there is a glitch when you go up the ladder at the end of area 2 at the great stair. the screen goes black, music plays but nothing happens... this also happens later in the game but i havent got to this point yet. my version of the game is an original and i went through 2 others before i discovered what the problem was, also trying it out on different PS2's and memory cards etc. apparently this glitch only happens when you play the game in PAL, but not NTSC - perhaps this is your problem?
