I remember we had a decent amount of people back in the day playing this pretty hardcore. Myself, TED, and Penguin included.

Since Im not going to be doing any physical activity for at least 3 months, Im going to reintroduce the addiction.

I started the single player a while ago, though the original Diablo 2, not the expansion. I haven't done it for a while though. I will say, it is pretty fun if you get high and play a while. I have a character especially for the purpose. It just gets old after a while though.

Haha... I would, but I gave up the game awhile back after getting Guild Wars. It's a shame too, because I had a level 90 Hammerdin who did 12k damage per blessed hammer. I had an annihilus, Heart of the Oak flail, Enigma, perfect Shako, Arachnids sash, perfect travs, perfect mara's ammy... All the goods man.

Sorry Z, it's a shame you didn't play about a year ago.

I tried picking up this game a while ago aswell, but to no avail. Unfortunatly I gave up my old account, well it just got delted because I wasn't active anymore.

My poor Sorc, all the way to lvl 95 and some nice items, such as perfect shako, tal rasha's orb and some other items. Lidless Wall aswell, I believe. Maybe I will play it again, when I am bored or so, lately I don't play much games on my pc anyway.

I used to play this a lot, but my old computer (with it installed on it) was pretty much fried, someway or another. Then, not too long after getting an internet connection to my computer (which also had it installed, for single player), I got broadband, but no router, so I lost internet for that computer as well. Still don't have a router, and that was a few months ago. So, needless to say, all of my accounts (I had a few mules and such) are dead. Argh. I'm pretty sure my primary account is dead by now, as well. *dies* None of my friends play anymore, and I used a friend's original Diablo II to install, and then upgraded to LoD with my own copy, so I didn't exactly have the option to re-install. None of my friends seem to know where their original copies of Diablo II are, either, so no borrowing. Ugh. I lost so much crap. So many hours of my life, that I will never get back...

If I ever manage to get a copy of the original Diablo II and get things setup again, I'll probably be willing to start up again. No idea when that may be, though. =\

Simply for the sake of mentioning it, I generally like playing as a Zeal paladin. I guess they're rather out of style these days, but oh well. They're fun.

40 bucks for the Diablo 2 Battle Chest.... Should be able to find it at a local Best Buy. If you happen to live in a city that doesn't have a Best Buy or some other major electronics seller, you're out of luck I guess.



Yeah they went out like 2 years ago if not longer, ever since the 1.1 patch that added synergies and changed gameplay a bit. Hammerdins for life.

Yeah, the Battle Chest is $40 pretty much anywhere. (Though I wish it were only $20, like the StarCraft one.) I already own LoD, though, so I'd rather not get the Battle Chest unless I have no other option. I think Amazon probably has the original D2, so I'll probably hit that up sometime, unless I get a router set up for my other computer. In that case, I'll just hop on and play. XP

Haha. Yeah, I figured something along those lines. I just enjoy playing Zeal paladins, though. I had a level 82-83 (I forget) one on my main account. ...I'm gonna miss him. ='(
I had a Hammerdin starting up on my secondary account, though. He was only like, 20-something, though. (Meanwhile, my second Zealer was 50-something. ^^; As I said, I just have more fun playing 'em.)

I also had this one Fire sorc on my main account, TrogDor_III. In the long run, she likely "sucked," but I still liked her. My original plan was to have a Fire sorceress that also could equip heavy armor and powerful weapons. The weapon was only a Hexfire, so it wasn't that great for attack (without the help of Enchant, at least), but she was at least able to use some decent armor, defense-wise. *shrug* Oh well. Might have to try to remake her sometime.

I figure my D2 account will expire in a week or two but it was a fun game until all my freinds "disappeared"
I had (still have) lvl 80-84 fire sorc and she did massive damage but all my other chatacters were really low leveled (I kinda stoped playing after i got hacked 4 times )

My entire band is playing again. Just started out again though, got a level 50 Javazon.

My two chars were low level and after my boyfriend and his brothers stopped playing, it wasn't as much fun and my chars went poofed. Sigh.

I would replay, but I'm still addicted to like... two and a half games. And two are MMOs.

I lost interest after my items started to disappear from my inventory. I've formatted my computer, scanned for viruses and changed my password but it didn't have any effect. I did email Blizzard about the problem but I never received a reply.

Java's got nerfed real bad.

Items dissapearing = You have dupes or you've been keylogged.

I still have a character on there and i play once in a while my gamer tag is Turkeybat.
