I owned the game on the PSX, but it vanished(who know where it is now). The fact that it's coming to live is fantastic. I can't wait to rack-up some Achievements on it. The reason I put it here is because it is not 'exclusive' and could show up on the Wii or PS3(or both). Anyone else as excited as I am?
Athrun
Cool, actually I played some SOTN yesterday at my frieds house. He started over on a new file, (without the Alucard Weapons)

This is one of those games I can play again and again afetr some time has passed.
I still have my old copy though. But maybe this Live version will be based on the Saturn version? Where Maria was playable.

No, I am not as excited as you are, i still have the game working for PSX and I dont plan to get the xbox 360 right now (if ever).

Besides, if it comes to virtual console or whatever sony will do, I woulndt buy it either because like i said i still have the game.

However, it is a good thing that some classics will be available regardless of the system it was made.

Wait, is there a link to this?
Pesmerga
Not exited at all, considering I will never buy a Xbox, I don't like the system and so far only a few games on that console interest me, I can count that on one hand.

I don't have the game myself, unfortunatly, but I did played it a little, if it will come on the PS3 for the arcade, if they will ever do something like that, then I might get it, if I don't get the game for PSX in the meantime.

2D game ? On consoles like 360, Wii and PS3 ? Such a waste, dunno I should be exicted or not. lol
I as well, still owned the PSX disc and don't plan to buy it if the game has nothing new to offer.

I like the Idea of it. I (My brother really) has this game. And I agree with Athrun, it's one of those games that you can pick up and play after some time has passed. Though I doubt it'll be on the Wii, since it's a PS game, it would be nice. Will you be able to download old GBA games on the Wii? Just asking....

Uhhh dude, Live Arcade is for the Xbox 360.
The Evil Dead
Considering it's one of the best games ever created, I don't see how anyone could react negatively to this. I myself have a copy of the game, rather my brother does... Unfortunately for some reason I decided to sell it off to him.

My roomie does have a 360 though, so I may DL the game in order to play through it again. On my old save back in the day I was level 70, and had just about all the rare item and weapon drops in the game because I played it religiously going through and killing the monsters to see what they drop. Cressigrim pwns all.

And screw the Alucrap weapons, Atty.
Athrun
Yeah the Alucard weapons made the game dull, since it takes away the challenge by killing everything in one or two hits, for quite a while.
Cressagrim is my favorite weapon, but I think the strongest weapon was that Shield staff, or whatever it was called. Though it required MP so I prefer the sword for the most part.
The Evil Dead
Alucrap works for a bit during the middle/end of the game... But there's so many better weapons you can pick up. I enjoyed the Runic throwing sword you got off the ( I think ) DoDo bird that's hidden somewhere in the second castle.

If you equip dual Cressi's and alternate O and Square really fast you can tear through everything. In fact I remember beating Dracula at the end of the game in just about a minute, if that with two Cressi's and some other boosting gear equiped ( It's been too long since I've played... Looks like I'll be getting it off of Live Arcade )

When exactly is it coming out?
Shadow™
Despite the game being old and 2D. It was one of the best and unique game that you won't find the same game like this anywhere.

I will get this when its out. Somehow, I have a feeling they will add something new to the game, so for those who've the old copy, can still buy this without hesitation.
